Karrl was sitting in his room at lot had happened to him since he had graduated to a full member of SeeD. It was strange really, he had only been a member of SeeD for about two months, maybe slightly more, and he had already been to two new places, Spira and Alexandria. He had faced many weird creatures, fought on strange settings, and seen things he thought he would never see. He had enjoyed himself for the most part, but certain things that had happened, not so much. The stuff that had happened to him had got him thinking.
He had been thinking for a while, just sitting in his room, not really talking to anyone. He had returned to the garden several days ago, but had just stayed in his room other than for food, training and if he had been ordered to do something. Never the less no matter what he did he seemed to be distracted and when he was on his own and he thought no one was looking face guard was down and the emotions that he was truly feeling show. He knew he needed to do something to take his mind of the whole affair when he was in Alexander.
The whole affair had got him thinking about how to progress his powers. He knew he could continue with his energy manipulation, and his training with his Shaung Dao, as well as unarmed, and throwing weapons. After a while of thinking he had decided to use Eidolons. He knew they would be a good way to progress his powers, and technically it would not be violating his personal rule of no magic, well, in his opinion. He had actually debated the idea in head for a while, he had originally thought about the idea the second day of his return to the Garden.
So the day before Karrl had gone to the headmaster and requested that he could be taken into the caverns to attempt for his first Eidolon. He was told that they would request for a member of the Instructors to accompany him as soon as they could. So, with that he went back his routine since he had returned to the Garden. He did not know when he was going to get an instructor to accompany him, since he was a full member of SeeD and an instructor’s time would be better suited dealing with trainees. Little did he knew that he request would be taken care of sooner that he expected.

You weren't sure where Erinna was right now or even if she had survived, could you even face her again? The days you had been back at Balamb Garden had gone by pretty slowly not much had been reported back and the incident at Alexandria had already gotten back to Headmaster Cid by the time you had returned. You had made it clear on your arrival back you wished to trek through the Fire Cavern to obtain the Bomb summon, there had been no argument from Headmaster Cid on that point.
"Karrl Garm please report to Balamb Garden entrance."
The female's voice over the tannoy echoed around Balamb Garden's hallways and into your room. This was it then. There weren't that many Instructors to choose from so perhaps it would be Quistis that would take you through the Fire Cavern. She had been through it that many times already she must know it inside out. The sun was shining brightly through the windows of the circular entrance, a perfect day to attempt such a feat. It would be hot as hell though! Stood by the map was Quistis. She was dressed in her orange dress with her whip hanging from her side. The Instructor turned to face you and crossed her arms over her chest.

Karrl continued to sit there this not knowing what the repercussions of what happened in Alexandria were going to be, or if the rest of the Garden, except for Cid, knew what had happened. It was killing him looking around expecting something to happen, and nothing did. He knew Erinna survived, but he had not seen her since they had returned, or even if she did. If he did see her what was he going to say, sorry I nearly tore you apart. He loved the girl, he truly did, but, when he saw her with the witches, and the thought of her betrayal ran through his mind, it was like something took over.
The whole ordeal frustrated him, but he was sure, wherever she was, the events within Alexandria would have been worse. He had not held back, he could have, even if he wanted to the same thing, the same beast inside of him that had told him to tear her apart told him not to hold back, and in that state of mind he had never been able to deny its wants. His fist started to clench and he cracked his neck, he needed something to take his mind of things.
All of a sudden he reached over to his top draw, he pulled it opened and reached in. He did not look into the top draw, he didn’t need to, he was a bit of an organisational nut when it came to things and knew where everything was just by touch. After a few moments he pulled out a deck of cards and fingered the top of the deck. He held the deck in his hand and just stared at the blue and gold pattern on the back of the cards before flicking to the top card over to reveal a fungus card.
He looked at the set of cards he had flicking through them, several Bomb Cards, and in the middle of his deck his pride and joy in his deck, his cactus card. He had not played in a while, not since he had started to prepare for his final exams two months before the final exams had started. It was a good deck, he did not play often, but for a recreationist of the game, his deck was not too bad. He knew it was not up there with the professional players of the game, but it could hold its own against most people on the same level as him, other recreationists of the game.
Karrl started to think maybe a game would take his mind of things. It had been a while, as stated before, and was a bit rusty, but he knew he could still play with reasonable skill, but who to play with, maybe a couple of solo games to get himself into the swing of things. He walked over to his desk and laid out his card memorising the deck’s layout, since it had been a while since he played he did not know his deck like he used to. As he looked through the deck once more he noticed the wide variety of card and remembered the joy he used to get when he used to play.
However the idea had been cut short. He looked up as he heard the tannoy and its announcement and realised his request had come through sooner than he had expected. He had not fought, outside of training, since he had returned and knew this would be a good way to get back into the swing of things Once the announcement was done he nodded, he put the deck back together and placed it in the top draw in its rightful place. He stood there for a moment or two thinking about what he could face in the caverns, he had never actually been.
Never the less he knew there was not real time to prepare any more than he had and with a sigh he straightened up. He then walked over and grabbed his blades skilfully placing them on his belt, one on each side. He stood there for a moment or two fingering the pommel of his blades before he walked over to the mirror taking a quick look. He had been getting little sleep and surprisingly enough it did not show on him that much, except for two small bag forming under his eyes. He spent a bit of time straightening himself up, tying his hair back and placing a set of sunglasses on to hide his bags, he was depressed, but that was not excuse for not looking good. After a few moments he left his room grabbing his trench-coat on the way out.
As he walked through the Garden towards the entrance he did not look anywhere but forward. His stride was fast, yet steady and purposeful, like he owned the world, and he would dare anyone to try and prove him wrong, it was his standard defence mechanism. Never the less he noticed a number of the others, both recruits and full SeeD members, looking at him. He also swore he caught a number of people whispering as he or they walked past, but he was pretty sure it was just paranoia, he hoped, but he did not have the time to pull them up on it.
He did not return a look other than a glance from behind his sunglasses. He was not doing this because he did not like them, or he did not have the time for them, it was just, he needed to get things sorted in his head before he really spoke to anyone outside of the Headmaster and the Instructors. So, as he had done since he had returned he had just kept to himself and did not speak to anyone. He then got to wondering, who would be his instructor for the caverns, he knew there was not many Instructors out there, so he was pretty sure it would be Quistis. She was the one who know Karrl the best, but even then he could not say for certain.
Continuing down the halls he kept his calm cool and collected exterior, however, inside the calm cool exterior he felt terrible. He was thinking about the looks and the whispers he had caught earlier on. He wondered if they were looking at him because they knew, how could they, it was not like Cid had man an announcement that Karrl had just torn apart one of their own. If they did he would know about it, so, he would just put it down to paranoia and leave it at that. Never the less it still did not stop him from feeling retched.
After what had seemed like an eternity Karrl finally arrived at the entrance of the Garden. Standing there he looked around for a moment or two looking for someone, the instructor was that someone. It did not take him long to find the instructor. As expected the instructor who was going to take him was Quistis. He was not surprised by this and in fact he was a little relieved, he always seemed to feel a little more at ease around Instructor Quistis. When she spoke he did not say anything he listened to her and when she he finished talking he nodded in response to her statement before heading out of the ground.
As they walked toward the caverns he did not speak he just moved with a steady pace keeping his eyes out for fiends, he was not being wary because he wanted to avoid a fight, in fact he was looking for any so he could have one. He found, the only time he could quell the chaos in his heart was when he was fighting, like the smell of blood and the sound of slicing flesh tamed the beast inside of him. He did not know why this was, but, he wanted to keep the beast as tamed as possible, he did not want to do to any of his friends what he had done to Erinna.
It did not take them long, but, they arrived at the caverns. He stood there down the path leading towards the entrance of the fire cavern. He knew he could not enter without an instructor, even if he was a member of SeeD. So, he stood there, in silence waiting for Quistis to take the lead. As he waited he made a mental note of what he had on his person and what, from what he had read of it, he could expect within the fire caverns. He wanted a fight but he was not going to be reckless, he would not fall to some small fries, not after what he had dealt with over the time he had become a full member of SeeD.

Instructor Treppe unhooked her black leather whip and held it lightly in her right hand. She glanced up to the sky for a few moments before looking back down to you, her eyes wandered over your body for a moment before she looked into your eyes. Something was different about Quistis, she usually was quite cheery if not a little emotional at times due to her being only eighteen. A very prominent position for such a young woman but one she took very seriously.
"Since you are a SeeD already a time limit will be imposed onto this trial, if you do not defeat the Bomb summon within the time frame you fail."
Moving her left arm in front of her she pulled back her sleeve and black gloves to reveal a digital watch, with a few presses she set the time. Her movements towards you were graceful and elegant and she stopped a few inches from you to show you the timer on her watch. Her eyes looked to you and then to the watch multiple times.
"You have 15 minutes to navigate the Fire Cavern, fight any fiends in your way and defeat the Bomb Summon. I will be here as support to make sure you don't die but that is all. You may begin."
[Of course I don't expect 15 minutes irl time but I will put in my posts what time you have left, I will be fair never fear. Just rp into the entrance it is up to you if wish to rp battle any minor fire monsters.]

As the two SeeD moved aside and saluted Karrl stood there and saluted back. He looked around a bit more before taking a deep breath getting himself ready. He knew, in theory, the mission should not be that much of a problem, but he also knew that, also in theory, that even the simplest mission could become complicated depending on the circumstances, and changes in situation. So, with that in mind he kept his eyes open and his ears trained, he was not about to do all that he had done and die on a mission that was supposed to test trainees.
Once Quistis started to speak, of course, he listened. He took in every word she had to say, and understood. So, he had fifteen minutes to complete the task of getting through the fire cavern and then defeating the bomb summon. To some this may seem like a problem, but, getting through the cavern should not be a problem for Karrl since his highest to attributes were his speed and his strength. However, fighting and defeating the summon within that time, that might be a problem, but he would make sure he would not fail, he would win, or die trying.
Taking one more deep breath he stepped forward and drew his twin blades, the sabres Shaung Dao. He took a look at the two SeeD by the entrance before taking another deep breath and stepping into the fire cavern. As soon as he stepped into the volcanic chamber the heat instantly hit him and he also had to take a step back to make sure he could get use to the sudden and extreme change in temperature. He looked around, once he had gotten used to it, and planned out what he was going to do, once he had he turned to Quistis, “Ready whenever you are.”

No doubt Quistis have been in here several times before but from the looks of it, she seemed to never get used to the heart radiating from this place. A good test and a good home for a summon. The Instructor wiped her forearm against her forehead as she began to walk quite quickly through the Fire Cavern. Her boots cracked the smaller rocks under her feet as she did walk. Lava flowed like a lake around you with spurts jumping out landing on the edges of the rocky walkways. Her blonde hair which was tied up began to loosen but she paid it no mind as she glanced back to you.
"I know what happened in Alexandria. Only a handful of us do, once you get through here I have Erinna's whereabouts if you wish to know."
It was little hard to hear her over the flow and sounds coming from the cavern but there was no doubt in your mind as to what Quistis said. She turned her gaze away from you and continued on further into the cavern. Out of the lave flew ten smaller looking versions of the Bomb summon you were after, they shot into the air rolling around in 360 degree circles. Once they had shake off the lava clinging to their round firey bodies they turned their attention to you and Quistis. Their short stubby arms waved in the air as they began to descend to you. Quistis cracked her black leather whip against the ground to divert their attention to her, she looked determined and very ready for action.
"It's your test Karrl I'm here as support. Do SeeD proud!"
[RP fight the 10 small bombs. The more creative the greater the rewards at the end of the thread.]

Karrl continued to walk slightly behind Quistis, but at the same time at the side of her, on the right. He looked around making sure he had a great a view point as he was going to get, just in case any foes come at them and try and surprise attack them. He had his unnaturally high sense trained on anything that was happening, but, his hearing was having trouble focusing on anything other than the sound of the lava flowing, as well as his sense of smell was having trouble also, due to the smell which reminded him on brimstone.
However, when Quistis spoke he could hear her perfectly. A lump hit his throat when she told him she knew what had happened in Alexandria, and he was hoping she was not going to give him a lecture; he had been beating himself up enough as it is without her adding an extra pair of fists to the emotional onslaught. However, she then told Karrl that she knew where Erinna was and that hit him so hard he stopped for a moment to gather himself from the shock. Once he had managed to do that he could only really utter the worlds, “Thank you.”
Continuing forward he kept his mind on the mission, however, not matter how hard he tried his mind went back to what Quistis had said, and the events that had happened within the castle of Alexandria. It was killing him, slowly knowing at him from the inside, what he had done, not to the witches he would have given them a greater beating, if he was able to, but what he had done to Erinna, and he would never forgive, not only himself, but the witches that had caused the catalyst for his action, for what happened the fateful night.
Then, something happened, for the time being, that was able to take his mind of the things running through his mind. Ten bombs appeared around them, and his mind, as well as all of his sense snapped into place all at the same time. His eyes suddenly changed from hazel to red and his canine grew slightly. This was not to show he was angry, even though he was, but, when this happened it was like his body was having a reaction to his craving for battle. As soon as Quistis spoke those words he rushed at them.
He ran at the first two not even braking his step as he dodged a number of firey attacks sent to him, one of them almost hitting him, but he had managed to swerve out of the way, just in time. When he was almost there he threw one of his sabres at the first bomb hitting him dead between the eyes. He then jumped up perching on the embedded sabre for a brief moment before launching himself over the bomb and, after a front flip slashed down at the second one coming out of the front flip as he did so.
As soon as he feet touched the floor it almost seemed like he bounced off the ground into a backflip, kicking the second bomb in the jaw, well, where its jaw was supposed to be before jumping backwards. As he was about to land in front of the first one he grabbed the embedded sabre, which it had been struggling to grab, and yanked it down slicing the bottom of it in half. As soon as he landed to two bombs exploded. He stood there for a moment or two, making sure the explosion was over before he would go onto the next set of bombs he was going to take care of.
Once the explosions were over he spun around and saw another three bombs charging up their attacks. He knew he would have a tough time dodging all three of them so, he would not give them the change to. He ran at them at full speed and, like before threw his sabre. However, unlike last time he threw both other, one embedding in the ones that were on the left and the right of set of three bombs. Like with the first one they struggled to grab hold the sabres, however, due to their short arms, could not reach them.
He had almost reached them when he jumped into the air grabbing hold of his Shaung Dao as he did. When he grabbed hold them he lifted himself into a hand stand. As he did this he twisted the blades that were embedded and flip kicked the middle one. When he had reached the hand stand, he had used the momentum of the movement to rip the sabres upwards. He was in the air and, as he was, flipped backwards. Once he was in the right position he stretched out and kicked the middle one with the base of both feet, pushing himself into another backflip, landed as the three of them exploded.

The strands of blonde hair that had fallen out from her clip had now stuck to her cheeks and neck due to the crazy heat from the Fire Cavern. Her throat was dry to the point it was starting to become a little sore. She walked over to you and placed a hand on your shoulder squeezing it gently.
"Excellent well done, I see they didn't pose that much of a problem. Shall we continue you on...you have 9 minutes left to find the summon and convince him to aid you."
The young instructor removed her hand from you and walked a few feet in front of you looking out over the lake of lava flowing slowly past you both, in the distance you could hear the growls of some kind of beasts lurking ahead, perhaps they wouldn't impede your quest...or perhaps they would. Quistis glanced back to you as she clipped her black leather whip back into its holster.
"You want to talk about what happened in Alexandria?"

Karrl stood there, not even out of breath, well, slightly, but not even noticeable. His eyes were shifting between, hazel, red, and, silver, that was a new one. He closed his eyes trying to get control of his emotions, and more so his rage. He did not want to lose control, not like that, not in front of his instructor, and someone he called a friend. He was taking deep breaths and muttering the calming chant under his breath.
However, when he felt a hand on his shoulder, his eyes shot open and looked at her, briefly, they were red, but, within that same second, his eyes went back to hazel. Karrl smiled when she complimented him. He always found it, well, it brought a strange kind of peace within him when she complimented him on his skills or anything he did. However, he got back to business when she said that he had nine minutes to find the summon creature and convince it to join him. He nodded and set off slightly behind and to the side of Quistis.
As they walked down further into the caverns, she asked if he wanted to speak about what happened it Alexandria. He had been worried about this, because, for as long as he could remember, he had been trying to hide the creature that came out of him, but, as of late it had been getting harder and harder to do so. He was worried, because, if he told her what happened, what really happened, it could bring all sorts of complications out, especially when it came to his career as a member of SeeD, let along the high rank he held.
Never the less, he would rather they found out by his own words, rather than, if he was taking recruits out on a mission and he lost control and hurt them. He took a deep breath before he finally spoke, barely noticing the growls that were around them, “I lost control, to put it simply. I was there, as you know, on a mission to represent Garden, but then, those witches came and killed the Queen. It is not secret I am not too fond of magic users, especially those of use magic to hurt others, but, then Erinna was revealed, and, I lost it.”
He took another deep breath before continuing, “The fight was like a blur, I could smell, touch, tastes, hear, and feel, but, I had not control over my body, the rage, the creature within me, it took over, and I had not control over my body. For as long as I can remember I have had a creature inside of me, a creature that fed off my rage and hatred, and the most I felt the strong it became. At first, I was able to control it, but, as of late I am finding it harder and harder to control the creature within me, and even the battle back then, and had to fight to keep control.”

There was no electricity between the touch unlike what you and Erinna had felt. The rocky patchway began to decrease in width which in a way signalled that something was up ahead. As you both walked Quistis would every so often look to you with such a longing expression it could be misconstrued as love or admiration.
"Balamb Garden will give you the help that you need. You don't have to do this alone..."
That part was true and you knew it deep down, Balamb Garden was always going to be their for its students and SeeD no matter what. Quistis slowly removed her black leather whip from its holster again in preperation as she had been here many times before with students to acquire the Bomb Summon. Her thick heeled black boots cracked against the rocky path as you both approached a raised platform. Hovering in the centre was the Bomb Summon. It bobbed up and down and waved its stubby firey arms around with an evil grin across its face.
"Looks like our chat may have to wait. As before I will support you if necessary but this is your show."

Karrl continued to walk as he thought about the events of what had happened in Alexander, and the whole thing made him grow angry. His eyes started to shift from hazel to red, so, stopping for a moment he closed his eyes and tried to keep control of himself. All of a sudden he felt Quistis arm brush up against his, and, with that he opened his eyes, which, for a few seconds more were shifting rapidly between the two colours.
However, with seeing her and hearing her words he manage to calm himself, he even managed to smile, “Thanks Quistis, that means a lot, you’ve always been a good friend.” With that he gave her a kiss on the cheek and went back to walking. Karrl did not think much of kissing Quistis, it was not did he did not find her attractive, but, there was no chemistry between them. If she would offer herself to him, he would not refuse, but, he doubted she would ever do that, no in the contents that would work for him.
Making his way forward they reached an elevated platform, and, as clear as day, the creature he was after, the bomb summon, was floating there, right in the middle of it. He looked over to Quistis he who was speaking. He nodded and mentally prepared himself for the fight. He closed his eyes and began to centre himself, getting the energy points as perfectly aligned as he could in the short amount of time he had.
As he did that he drew his twin sabres, his Shaung Dao, and twirled them back and forth using the whistling sound the help him centre. He knew this was going to be a tough fight, so, he wanted to be prepared as much as possible. As he centred himself he thought of possible battle tactics, and, he knew he might have to give into the rage slightly, if he wanted to beat the creature, he did not like it, but, there was a good chance that it might happen. Thinking about this things, his face remained calm.

The bomb summon floated awaiting for you to take your first steps to enter the battle, it seemed to be expecting you. Instructor Quistis kept a few steps behind you as she eyed up the bomb summon and then the time remaining on her watch. Time was most definetly running out, if you couldn't defeat or convince the bomb summon to aid you then you would fail. A high ranking SeeD failing in the Fire Cavern would be something that would be hard to live down.
"Keep focused and utilise your strengths, watch its movements and look for the best way to attack."
Her tone was low but very serious. You didn't have time to look back to respond even if you wanted to. The bomb summon let out a sort of chuckle as it began to spit fire at your feet, almost taunting you in a way.

Karrl took the steps up to the platform, spinning his blades back and forth as he made his way up. His mind was already in deep thinking, quick tactician mode, and he was already thinking of the best way to defeat the bomb summon, and defeat the giant ball of flame he would, if it was the last thing he did.
He knew a lot was riding on this, not only would he not gain the bomb summon, but a level nine ranked member of SeeD failing the summon test, something that was basically the first field test for a recruit when taking their finally exam, it would be hard, if not impossible to live down, and he would not let that happen.
As he finished walking up to the platform, he barely registered the words Quistis had said. If he had had to time to respond he would have. Between, thinking of a good way to defeat the bomb summon, keep the beast inside, which was screaming in his head to be let out, in check, and do this all in the time, which he was pretty certain was running out, he did not have the time to even look back.
However, he grunted, giving Quistis that response to tell her he knew he had heard what she had said. He looked at the bomb summon, did not even break eye contact even to blink. He watched the summon spat fire at Karrl’s feet and laugh at him; however, he did not react, even if the beast inside of him was pretty much clawing at his heart.
All of a sudden Karrl moved, and with speed which would startle someone, since he had been stationary a second before. He started to twirl his blades and moved from side to side in a zigzag motion, just in case the giant bomb went to attack. Within seconds he was at the bomb from the edge of the platform.
With a final twirl he slashed down with his first blade aiming for dead centre, hoping he would cause the most damage that way. As soon as the first blade had struck he had moved in with a twirl of his body making a second slash. When the second blade he finished his twirl and did a double downwards slash back flipping slightly out of range.
{Turn 1: The Bomb summon took your attacks at full force but that did not seem to phase the flaming creature. The firey beast still had the same manaical grin plastered across its red face, its short stubby arms flailing around in the air. Once the Bomb summon had regained what composure it had it then began it's onslaught onto you. Flames that danced around the creature's body licked up into air before shooting towards you wrapping you in its firey embrace. Fira Used 400+200= 600 Damage -300 Spr = 300 Damage}

When Karrl got hit by the massive blast of flames he could not help but stagger back. He looked forwards clutching his arm slightly, where the attack had hurt him the most. He stood still for a moment or two, as he fought about what to do next. He was thinking about his lessons, back when he was a student, his lessons about bombs. Bomb, strong users of magic, but, limited physical capacities.
As he thought on it suddenly struck him. He had not wanted to crack open his abilities so soon into the fight, since his ability to use them was limited, due to his slightly low amount of MP. However, if he pulled this off, this could be the move that wins him the fight. He charged in spinning his blades as he moved. As the blades spun the sabre in his dominate hand started to glow green. He moved back and forth, trying his best to confuse the Bomb Summon. As soon as he got within striking distance the glowing green blade struck forward and backwards with lightly quick speed.
Straight after he had struck with the first attack he jumped into the air, going upwards and backwards. As this happened his body started to glow a fait white, like his skin was starting to become light itself. His eyes were closed and, as they were he was chanting in some strange tongue. As the chanting continued the glowing shifted and moved, converging on his throat. Once, all of the light had moved to his throat his eyes opened and he let out an ear splitting screech. The scream was so strong the waves of sound it made were visible and they were heading straight for the Bomb Summon.
You heard a ringtone sound off behind you but that was the least of your concerns at this moment, you had a ball of fire to extinguish! Suddenly Quistis' hand gripped your shoulder and pulled you backwards away from the Bomb. As your eyes met hers you could see she was on the phone and from the look on her face something serious was going on. The Bomb summon only a true danger to those outside of Balamb Garden hovered in the air for a few more seconds before throwing itself back into the lava. Your instructor...well your superior was still on the phone and the conversation seemed to be getting quite heated.
"What do you mean breached?.....How the hell did that happen?!.....No we are on our way back he will want to be there."
With a quick flick of her wrist Quistis slipped the slim black phone into a pocket on her orange dress. Her breathing was quite laboured and the shocked look on her face was still there. She didn't say anything for a few moments she simply stood there looking at you. Quistis grabbed your shirt into her hands scrunching them up like fists, there was a fire in her eyes you had not seen before...
"Balamb Garden is under heavy attack. We need to get back now!"
{Get back to the entrance of Balamb Garden on ze double solider!}

Karrl stood there twirling his blades, waiting for the next attack to come from the bomb. He heard Quistis’ phone go off, but he did not take his eyes off the Bomb Summon, not for a second. He knew, if he was to defeat the creature he would need to make every effort, and that included not being distracted from the task at hand.
All of a sudden he felt himself getting jerked backwards and could not help but make a startled sounds as this happened. He was not sure what the hell was going on, but, he did not like the smell of it, not one bit. He turned around to see what the hell was going on, noticing the summon had retreated.
He stood there listening to the conversation she was having on the phone, and from what he could hear he did not like. He heard the word breached, what was breached? He stood there, sheathing his blades when Quistis turned to him to explain the situation. As soon as the words, Balamb Garden and heavy attack were uttered he, ran, and really ran.
Before Karrl had been moving at a relatively slow speed for him, but, on the way back he did not pull any punches when it came to his speed. He was running at full ability, greater than what most humans could possibly hope to keep up with. For every one step a normal human would have taken he was taking three. He hoped Quistis could keep up, but that was at the back of his mind, all he cared about at that moment was get back to Balamb Garden.
Where it took them several minutes to reach the centre of the Fire Cavern, at the speed he was going it barely took him one. He passed the two SeeD that were on guards, who seemed to be startled by the fact he was moving such a speed, and slightly concerned. He was sure they must have gotten the news the Balamb was under attack, but there was not time to stop and check.
Crossing out of the fields between the Fire Cavern and Balamb Garden he did not become under attack, he was unsure why this happened, but he was grateful for the fact, he had not time to deal with the small fries that came out on the fields. Where it would take about six, maybe seven minutes for a normal human to cross it the fields, he did it in just over two minutes. When he reached the Garden entrance, he stopped, he knew, even though in the back of his mind he did not want to, he would have to wait for Quistis.

Young and still able bodied at least but she had to have something special about her to be an Instructor at Balamb Garden for her age. Her phone beeped again and she immediately pulled the slick black phone from her pocket, she slid her thumb across to unlock it. Her eyes scanned the phone. It must be a text message. Smart move from whoever had sent it, at least they were being quiet if they were hiding. Suddenly you would both hear the screams of male and female students coming from inside the Garden. Quistis looked to you with tears in her eyes. She yanked her black leather whip from its holster once more and began to move into Garden.
"Do not and I mean this..do not be a hero. We need to ensure the safety of the students above all else."
The young Instructor turned her head back to you with a serious expression coating her prety face. Whatever was going on was still bad and she had failed to mention what information was included in that text, if it even was a text from someone on the inside. As you both approached the turnstiles to enter the Garden you would see groups of students huddled around each other trying to comfort and heal one another. Quistis immediately ran up to the nearest group and knelt down with them. Three female students were holding another female student, she had a large slash mark across her chest and was bleeding out very quickly. They all glanced to you both before looking to the training grounds, the youngest of the group pointed to the training area with tears streaming down her face.
"Lets go Karrl. I'm sure Cid has ordered for back up to arrive but we need to hinder the cause as much as possible."

When he heard the screams, most people would be worried, or on the verge of crying, Karrl, on the other hand, was very, very angry. As he stood there his eyes turned from their normal hazel to a deep, crimson red. He would make them pay for what they have done, whoever they are.
He did not have a clue who their enemy was, but he did not care, even if the gods themselves attacked Balamb Garden he would stand in their way and cut them all down. Not a lot of people took him seriously, because of his usually laid back, and silly nature. He normally didn’t mind this.
However, he would show this day why, there was a reason he was a rank of nine with SeeD, but also why, he should not be pissed off, and the sure fire way to do that is to attack his home. He was a nice guy in general, but, not when someone attacks his home.
Then Quistis ordered him not to be a hero, he looked at her for a second or two, before gathering himself enough to nod. He then looked back at the Garden and took a deep breath. After he prepared himself he followed Quistis.
It did not take them long to get into the Garden in bump into the first group. He stood there and just looked at the group. Karrl was normally a talkative fellow, but, he was using every ounce self-control he had, so, he did not release the creature inside of him, not yet anyways.
As Quistis spoke again his head jerked up and looked at her. It took him a moment to register what she had said. In response he nodded and followed her through the Garden and towards the heart of the battlefield, or so he assumed.
A few things were running through his head as the made their way through the Garden. First of all, who was it that was actually attacking them, then there was the follow up question, why were they attack them. However, one thing that played in his mind just as loud as the questions was what Quistis had said, the cause, which brought up his final question, what cause?
Speeding through the grounds he finally reached the training grounds, well, at least the entrance of the grounds. He drew his blades and twirled them around, getting himself ready for what would have to be done. However, he was not the senior member, so, as hard as it was for him, he had to wait for the order to advance. He only hoped, that order would come in time.

Her leather whip was held tightly in her grip ready to be used if necessary; looking at the current situation it was likely some sort of fight would occur. No one could just come into a military school and begin to destroy and harm students. The automatic doors slid open as you both approached, Quistis slowed down to a walk. She looked to you and signalled for you to follow her. The mood and atmosphere was tense. You could both hear crying coming from the grounds right where....the T-Rexaur is usually used in training. As you both walked into the grounds trying to be as quiet as possible you would both see a group of several students mixed in gender cowering against the side of the wall. The T-Rexaur was just standing there as if waiting for orders but it was then you noticed two young blonde women who appeared to be twins standing between it and the students. They were both dressed in white dress which was cut off at one leg. Their stockings were different colours, one pink with black trimming and one purple with white. One sister on her left hand had a grotesque claw whilst the other had the same claw on her right. They were idential in every way except certain parts of their outfit but they wore the same white feathery mask that covered their eyes.
"I am Instructor Quisitis Treppe of Balamb Garden, I order you to leave you."
Her voice boomed around the training grounds, she meant business. The two sisters stood side by side looked to her with an expressionless face, it was almost eerie. They both stood just looking at you both for several moments.
credit to ZETTA of LS & BTN[/style][style=color: #c1c291; font-family: georgia; font-size: 26px; font-weight: italic; text-transform: lowercase; margin-top: 10px; ]Which Side Will You Choose?[/style]
When Quistis order Karrl to follow her, he did not speak, he simply nodded. With his sabres, his Shuang Dao, gripped in his hand he looked around a bit before walking into the training ground. His eyes were focused and his breathing was steady, it was not like he used to show he was ready, but it was still clear he was, for whatever was to come.
Karrl was normally a chatty, fun and lively young man, but, due to the fact he about to go into what could be a big fight, as well as the events that had happened in the recent past, it kind of sobered him up. There was times his old self show, but he had changed, there was not doubt about that.
As he walked through the ground he kept his high trained ears and eyes opened. He was looking or listening for anything he could fight. The fight with the Bomb Summon has left him unsatisfied, and he wanted a strong opponent to push him to his limits, so, he was strong enough to face someone as strong as Biana, and defeat them.
His fight with the witch has left him with a sour taste in his mouth, he had gone all out, yet barely made a dent in her, and yet, just with one series of attacks she had destroyed him. He vowed something like that would never happen again, he would become stronger, he would fight all, and defeat anyone or anything that stood in his way.
All of a sudden his ears perked up as he heard crying. He looked at Quistis, and it seemed she had heard it to. So, without a word they made there way towards the source of the sound. From what he could gather, the source was coming from the area where the T-Rexaur usually was, and he had to admit, it left a dry feeling in his throat. If they came up against something like that, he had to wonder, were they strong enough to defeat it.
The two members of SeeD finally reached the area where the massive lizard like creature dwelled, and, there it was. However, his attention was on the massive dinosaur, for only a few moments. He noticed the group of students cowering in the corner, which brought up two feelings.
These feelings were the urge to protect them. However at the same time he felt annoyance because they were trainees at such a place they should learn to master their fears. Fear only got in the way of doing one’s job as a member of SeeD. However, faced against such a terrible beast he could understand why they would be scared, he was even a little bit so, himself, but he pushed those feelings aside.
Like with the T-Rexaur his attention was only momentarily on the students, and they finally focused on two women, twins, near the lizard. He stood there his eyes, which were a crimson red, locked onto them. He listened in silence as Quistis ordered the two women to leave. However, their response annoyed him somewhat.
They had stated that they were there to stem the poison he took a few steps forward so he was beside Quistis. He looked at the twins before he finally spoke, “The only poison I see here is you…” He growled a bit before he continued, “I suggest you do as Quistis says before I gut both of you like fish.” He then twirled his blades, and waited, for either their response, or Quistis’ order to attack.

The twins raised their beastly claw hands and placed them palm to plam against each others. A faint pinkish purple light emitted from beneath their hands, this caused the T-Rexaur to roar whic echoed around the Training Grounds. They both cocked their heads to the side and looked directly to you.
"Poison? But it was you..."
"....who wounded Erinna."
"...our potential sister."
Their potential sister? That means they were with the Coven? Jeeze did these bitches ever give up? Well you and a few other Gaians had just thwarted the plan of their leader a few days ago but bringing up Erinna was just out of order. You didn't even know where she was. Well not yet anyways. Quisits glanced to you and sighed lightly before turning back to face the sisters, her black leather whip dangled by her side. Her grip tightened as the words of the Coven sisters had obviously angered her.
"This is your last warning, remove yourselves from Balamb Garden and leave the students unharmed or we will use necessary force to eject you."

When the mention of Erinna and the realisation that the two women in front of him were from the Coven, the rage he had been holding in finally released itself. The air around him grew hot and uneasy, as it seemed to stir around him. His red eyes started to show flickers of silver within them. His already slightly extended canines extended even further and his nails, slowly turned into claws.
The rage inside of him had almost taken over. Karrl had manage to release it, but at the same time, reasonably manage to keep control of his senses. He looked at the two coven members with anger in his eyes, as rage personified. He wanted to tear them apart, limp by limb, and use their limbs to beat the T-Rexaur to death. He had enough control to hold himself back until he had the all clear to attack, but he was finding it increasingly harder and harder to do.
As Quistis told them they had one last warning he looked at her for a moment, the rage that coursed through his veins was clear on his face. He then turned to the twins once more. He finally spoke, however, his normal, smooth, and charming voice was gone, and in its place was a course and violent one, “No more warnings, these bitches die now, I will make them pay for what they made me do to Erinna. I will tear them limb from limb.”

Magic: Cure, Thunder, Flare.
{Turn 1 & 2: The two sisters took up their offensive and defensive stances as appropiate whilst keeping one eye on the T-Rexaur. The most powerful training ground creature was already eyeing up the SeeD students cowering against the wall. They didn't appear to be hurt or injured in any way which was a blessing but if the Coven sisters managed to supress you and Quistis things could get ugly fast. Dea and Lara stood looking at you both not saying a word or moving a muscle. Instructor Treppe stood by your side with her whip held tightly in her grip. The intrusion into Balamb Garden was not something she would forgive so easily No actions taken!}

Karrl did not waste a moment, he knew, if he was going to defeat the twins in front of him, as well as protect the students he would have to act fast. Lucky for Karrl this was playing into his hands. The young SeeD trained his fighting style so he could take on multiple opponents just as easily as he could one person.
When he saw it was time to fight he charged at them hard and fast. He moved in a zigzag motion with his blades twirling through the air as he held him, ready to strike. As he got close to them he launched himself into the air and struck with a devastating roundhouse kick hitting both of them hard into the head.
As he spun in mid air after the roundhouse kick the blades he was twirling started to glow green. However, unlike the time this happened against the Bomb Summon it was not just the single sabre the glowed green it was in fact both of them. A he landed he struck forward striking both of the twins with one of the glowing sabres each.
When the attacks had been struck he jumped back a bit waiting for the next attack, or attacks to come. He knew it would happen, and he hoped he was strong enough to fight them off. He found himself lucky, since he had Quistis with him, who was just as skilled, maybe even more so, than himself.
Action 1: Roundhouse Kick, dealing 620 damage to both twins (170 after Def) (-60MP) Action 2: Viper Fang, dealing 620 damage to both twins (170 after Def) (Poisoned Damage) (-75MP)

{Turn 1: Lara and Dea didn't even flinch as you attacked them, not even as the blood from their wounds began to trickle down their perfect white dresses. Lara looked to you and raised her claw hand. Lightning began to crackle between her fingertips before it shot out from her index claw finger aiming for your chest. She was trying to aim for your heart in an attempt to mess up your heartbeat. It wasn't long before Dea smirked to Quistis, she had her eye on her and was waiting to see if she made a move. Thunder cast on Karrl 500 Damge (not minus defence).

When the lighting hit his chest it sent him back a bit as the blast narrowly missed his heart. He looked at them and growled. He did not waste any time in going on the attack again. He ran in the same quick, zigzag motion. He looked between the two of them and charged in with a twin slash across the chest of Lara. As he made the twin slash down one of them his body started to glow white. The white glow then moved to his throat and he let out a massive, ear splitting screech at Dea.

{Turn 1: The twins did not flinch or utter a single word as you attacked in quick succession. They stood side by side and slowly raised their claw hands up and placed their palms on each others. A bright pink aura slowly began to emit getting slowly brighter until Dea was pulled sharply to the side by Quistis. Her black leather whip was wrapped around her throat and she was quickly pulling her closer tightening the grip around the witch's throat. Lara reacted immediately by cartwheeling over to Quistis and drop kicking her in the face. She helped Dea to her feet and back to where they were originally stood by you could easily see Dea had been distracted by your screech. How would have Quistis managed to get such a strong hold on her? Quistis damages Dea for 3000 Damage!}

Karrl saw what had happened, and, even though in a slightly feral state his mind started to work quickly, his instincts, sharper than ever. He figured that his screech, where in itself did not damage, distracted them enough for Quistis to actually do some damage. This got him thinking. He had never actually tried this before, but, it could work out quite well, if it did work, and could win them thing fight. He looked over at Quistis and nodded before his body started to glow again. After his body started to shine a faint white, it moved to his throat and he spun his head letting out one long screech aimed for both the twins. He then charged in and slashed at Dea this time.

{Turn 1: A groan emerged from the twin's lips at the exact same moment, they were almost completely in sync with each other. Dea and Lara moved even closer together and held each other's clawed hand. They both closed their eyes and a bright purple and pink aura radiated around them both. You could see from the look on Lara's face that she was in pain but Dea seemed to almost look fully revitalised. Lara transfers her 300 atk stat to Dea. Next physical attack will deal 600 Damage.}
