It was a clear blue sky over the vast green plains of the Veldt, there was no wind and the sun warmed the ocean of green as the wildlife went about its natural cycle of life and death untouched by the hands of humanity. However this was soon to end.
The world shook violently out of nowhere, there was no warning as none of the wildlife had acted to avoid it before the world started shaking. The birds quickly took to the sky to try and evade it, yet the world continued to shake and the birds would find the ground was waiting for their fall. This continued for several moments before stopping, however damage had already been done as smoke filled the skies above alongside its sources as Airships started to crash down into the earth from the previously empty sky. Mist ships, Mako ships, Steam ships, Electric ships and even Spaceships all crashed down into the earth followed quickly by violent explosions that would decimate most of the crew and passengers onboard, save the few lucky surivors all of which would have no idea of how they had even ended up onboard of these crashed airships.
Behind the large crash area something seemed to shimmer in the sky for a moment before the clear blue sky instantly starts to unleash a fierce storm, lightnign crashing down to the ground, hitting the metal wreckage of the crashed ships repeatedly every few seconds and behind them all the shimmer in the sky seemed to grow larger and larger until the shimmer seemed to be in the shape of a monsterously large man.

Go on a vacation they said, see the world they said. It seemed like a delightful idea at the time to get away from the worries of running the corporation from day to day, or spending long, sleepless nights hunkered away in a lab developing new designs and completing research. August felt, after some coxing, that a time to think without having to worry about work would be healthy, and perhaps clear is mind so he could better work when he returned. So it was decided, an airship cruise upon one of those ultra-luxury liners, the Brobdingnagian, a grand vessel of the Pale Moon Air-Liners. A man-about town’s ship, a vessel of unparalleled luxury where the wealthy can be treated above and beyond what was once thought inconceivable. She was also one of the largest luxury airship ever built and touted as uncrashable. A claim August felt was a tad brash and overblown, but none the less, he could admire it’s design and construction. So with the Dajjal in drydock for routine maintenance, August left for a cruise.
Everything was going fine for three days. August enjoyed the amenities, surrounded by the rich and powerful like himself, making contacts and brokering deals over cognac and cigars while being waited on. Truly, August concluded, no expense was spared – and for the price of the both his and Kane’s ticket, nothing better had been. Then hell came. It started subtly, a strange tinge on the air, something one couldn’t quite place. The weather was perfect, no signs of distress anywhere, just the vast Vedlt below and clear skies from there to heaven itself. Yet, the Brobdingnagian shuddered, then begun a drastic and unprecedented decent down. There was no warning, no time to evacuated, before the nose took a dive. The colossal ship fell from the sky and found a permanent home embedded within the earth. Fire, smoke, crumpled steel and thousand souls went up in smoke, their bodies trapped within a coffin of smoldering steel and fire.
That was except for August and his man-servant Kane, who, despite what would kill any normal person, crawled from the wreckage a little more than disheveled and banged up. August emerged first, throwing off a steel plate that had trapped him inside and stumbled out onto the grass. He coughed and staggered away from the wreckage as he tried to catch his breath and his senses. Kane followed, looking very well, except for a crumbled bowler hat and a slightly torn and burnt suit. In his hand was a black case cuffed to his wrist. He went to his vassal and assisted.
“Uncrashable, my arse!” August protested as he hunched over, coughing. “Minute I get back to Treno, Pale Moon will be so sore from lawsuits they’ll be begging me to buy them o-“
Then, there in the distance and all around, the sky came crashing down. Dozens of vessels, of all shapes and sizes, exploded around them. Lightening, storms and a great tempest raged around them. Kane huddled over August, shielding him from the chaos. When it ended and the world grew calm once more, the two stood up from their huddled cowering to find a giant unlike any before conceived towered over the land. August rolled his eyes and let out a little, exasperated sigh.
“Kane, my rifle. Please.”

They say, "Evil prevails when good men fail to act." What they ought to say is, "Evil prevails."
An all too familiar feeling of waking up where you hadn't remembered passing out, as stated it was nothing new to the young lady known as Kira. A drinking binge was naturally the most common way to do so and she had bared personal witness to it, aside from also watching many a customers to the Sandsea not even make it a few steps before falling face first into gutter to simply wake up with regrets. Although they only regrets she could recall was simply waking up with a splitting headache and thats what she was feeling at the moment as she soon found herself upon an airship. Looking around she could tell that this wasn't the normal style she rode from continent to continent. She was in a single room, on which she could only presume she was in the back of as she could see metallic doors on either side of the elongated. Natural instinct and experience from the missions she had spent alongside Tager in transportation such as this suggested on one side, the door led to a cockpit and the other, well outside. Judging by the ever subtle bumps and shifts of the ship, she guess they were in the air already.
Taking a closer look amongst this room, eying the silver metallic walls and the uncomfortable slabs of Metal which protruded down along the wall in one solid piece, acting as one large seat for the people back here. Kira was slightly unnerved to find that there were quite a few people back here, almost none of them looking as if they belonged, or even knew what was going on themselves. They all lined the wall, looking to her left and her right she had noted two Viera sitting beside her, which was also a bit off setting to her. She had known them to stick mainly to "The Wood" as they had called it, although a few have strayed, the two of them just merely stared ahead whilst Kira leaned back, the cold steel causing a chill up her spine as she grasped at her head with a single hand, feeling the effects of this massive headache. Almost instinctively she reached a hand into the pocket of her jacket and retrieved her phone, quick to flip it open and see if she could contact anyone, especially Kokonoe just to find out where in the hell she was off to exactly.
"Never Fails..." She growled underneath her breath, annoyed to find that she had no signal once again. Groaning aloud, she forcefully snapped her phone shut and deposited it back into her jacket pocket with a long sigh quickly following that. It wasn't long after however that a loud crashing sound could be heard from one end of the ship. lazily she looked in its direction as did everyone before the entire ship seemed rock all at once and soon everyone's stomach began to feel as if they were in their throats as they could feel the ship beginning to plummet from the air. Kira was knocked to her right, crashing into the young Viera to her side, sending her sprawling and coincidentally into the back wall, but more importantly to a huge button. She had managed to get her grip on something as did Kira to prevent her from going any further, and in good time too. The button which had been pushed slowly began to open that door, revealing the world outside. Something which not only left the entire room in peril, their screams confirming it, but the sudden decompression left a strong suction, threatening to pull everyone inside toward the now open door like a vacuum. Kira had managed to retain her grip as she quickly stood and grabbed a hold of some sort of strong netting along the ceiling of the metallic room, her eyes quickly locking on the ground beneath, still several miles below, but gradually getting closer as they plummeted
Kira's eyes widened as she looked on outside the open door at the grassy plains underneath, she seeing them gradually getting closer as the suction had pulled her hair toward it and into her face. Her right hand covered by her weapon only tightened it's grip as she heard a man screaming from the front of the ship, slowly she turned her head to see him flying freely toward the now open door of the ship and sent sailing outside of it only to flip into a free fall to his doom. Several others who's grips weakened fell victim to this they all seemed to lose their grip, occasionally one at a time, some in pairs or even small groups. One by one the body count in this ship dropped until only Kira and a few others remained. As the ground was getting dangerously close, this woman was quick to turn and very slowly began to make her way more toward the front of the ship as from the angle it was falling, the tail end would hit first as the ship had changed course in the air due to this. She could feel that they were traveling backwards now and being close to the door was risky.
As if falling from the sky in an airship wasn't already bad enough, having a higher chance to get flung from the ship and then crushed if it decided to slide far enough, just seemed like a bad deal to her. Slowly she made progress as she continued to use her hands on this netting up top to pull herself forward, constantly fighting against the ship which threatened to throw her from it into the hungry sky as it had already done. It wasn't long after she had reached her goal, standing at the top of the incline, back against the cockpit door, the tail end of the ship finally touched down onto the ground. The single second that steel touched dirt, Kira's heart stood still as time seemed to stop. This was only for a moment however before dirt was immediately kicked up both around and inside the ship as it dug into the earth. As it did, Kira felt her grip on the netting which had kept her safe thus far, ripped from her as she was quick to fall on her face to the floor of the ship. She let out a scream of pain from this as she soon felt the ship level out as it slid across the ground, continuing to toss dirt and bulldoze anything that got in the way. All the while Kira from the initial touch down had felt her body sliding toward the entrance of the ship.
She flung from the mouth of it and into the grassy plain to where she would roll quite a ways away from the ship which had come to a stop, she landing with a cry as she now lay on her chest. Several other crashes could be heard around her general area, other Air Ships falling to the same dilemma. Although as long as none landed directly on top of her it wasn't of any concern to her. She was more worried about her ravaged body which had taken quite a beating from this incident. She wincing in pain as she tried to move, she feeling an agonizing pain shooting through her left shoulder from the fall, although she could still move it, meaning it wasn't broken or anything. It still did her little good however as she wouldn't be able to use it for a while unless taken care of. What was she to do though? She could only lay amongst the tall grass as lightning began to strike the other ships which had crashed down, including the one she had been aboard. She could only look to a growing shimmer in the sky which had began to take a peculiar shape as she continued to lay there for the time being.
Moving from city to city was something Celes had grown accustomed to in her wandering after the runes of power. This time she had decided to treat herself and use some of the gold she had on herself and take a local airship from one end of the Veldt to the other instead of walking. She had made that trek several times and each time it felt to her it was getting longer and longer. So she had decided to not chance it and just fly. A simple wooden airship she was traveling on was a welcome respite as she sat upon the deck letting the air flow through her hair and she would watch the rolling hills of the Veldt cross underneath them with ease.
A smile was on her face as she sat there enjoying the ride. Sadly her smile did not last as she felt the airship begin to shake and shudder. After the first bit she felt her stomach get upset and then settle as if it was just a bit of turbulence. Then it happened and the airship dropped from the sky. As she neared the ground Celes once again looked at herself and spoke up. "Not again.... " With that she would cast a Blizzaga spell on the surrounding wood and have it protect her from the sudden stop. The frost melted rather quickly and she stepped out onto the Veldt. Noticing a pink haired woman and a large rat man who was familiar to Celes. ::Well I have seen August before but who is this woman... Oh well we need to find out whats causing this and then... ::
Her thoughts would trail off as she saw the large figure in the sky. "Well that cannot be good in any way or shape..." With that spoken Celes would walk out into the center of the open area her sword drawn, cape blowing in the wind behind her.

One's life often reflects their childhood, that much one can be certain and for a young man of Spira that runs deeper to the belief of what the people and what he was raised on. A constant belief that Machina was evil, that Sin was just that, an embodiment of their wrong doings to which they would have to atone.Although a particular meeting had left this young man, Jin Kirihara at a bit of a loss. Was Machina really as bad as her was led to believe? In all honesty he never paid it any mind or even cared enough to see others using it, but during a meeting in the Macalania Woods, he had to wonder just what it was about the people of Spira which are punished for it rather then any other continent. Could it be that this was another thing to which Yevon mislead the people on?
Jin merely continued to contemplate this as he sat amongst the wreckage of the air ships which fell from the sky, he not even paying much mind to what had just happened as he remained seated amongst the tall grass, blood running down his forehead and face from bashing his face off the large pane of glass which served as an observatory deck for the behemoth of an Air Ship. He wasn't even entirely sure how he had ended up aboard the monstrosity anyhow. He couldn't remember anything from the night before, all he had known as he had waken up, sitting against a wall aboard an air ship with other citizens of Spira surrounding him, people of all sorts. Normal Spirans, Al Bhed, Ronso, Guado, you name it and they were on board and none the wiser to what was going on. Of course they hadn't the time to worry about that, for as soon as a few fingers were pointed in the direction of the Al Bhed for what they were aboard, the world shifted for them.
He could remember the several screams he heard, the jerking of the ship which had led to his wound and then the inevitable drop from the sky. The feeling of descent rushing up into him and those around him as everyone eyed the ground which grew closer and closer in sheer terror. Even Jin's eyes widened a bit as he looked on silently, unsure of whether he was about to die or not. Although as all they could see was ground left, no longer the outlines of the continent of the sea, Jin merely grinned to himself and muttered some unnerving words upon lowering her head, resting his face upon his fingers and palm. "This is true atonement." He quietly whispered to himself before slowly beginning to chuckle to himself, slow and quiet chuckles which graduated into full blown psychotic laughter as he raised his head, laughing sickly aloud much to the dismay of those around him who looked on terrified at their immediate death and the young man they had thought crazed.
Jin could not wait for impact, he could not wait for these miserable people to see the TRUE meaning of payment for ones sin's, their ultimate punishment, death. As the people around him willed the young man to be silent, he would do no such thing, he wouldn't quiet down and this left them only to wait for the inevitable. An impact which would ultimately hold Jin's maniacal laughter as being the final things of this world they would have known. This young man couldn't remember anything beyond that, the impact or anything. He only remembers waking up amongst the tall grass shortly after to catch a glimpse of other air ships doing the same thing as the one he was aboard, and of course the figure which formed from the sky from the shimmers of light. He only having the warm blood running down his face to remind him of the events prior.
Flight; it was a mystifying thing even to Miumi whom had seen countless flying Lucavi , yet he himself only briefly knew the pleasure of fight when he was free-falling. Miumi was standing on the upper deck of the airship known as the S.S Monteblanc , he could feel the tendrils of the clouds dancing around him as he watched countless other air-ships flying nearby. One of the crew members was coughing rather violently behind Miumi in an attempt to get his attention and they waved him over. He would smile as he quickly closed the distance just as the entire sky seemed to shake which caused Miumi to fall past the man grabbing his arm dragging him down into the stair well that lead into the elevator. Miumi’s body ached as he made contact with a variety of the stairs and he found himself laying in the elevator while various lights went on and off while he was still in a daze the crew man was up and pressing a button which he felt the elevator quickly going down into the core of the ship with him inside of it. In the midst of all this suddenly the power of the elevator ceased just as they came to a stop. A pressure could be felt but it was unsure where it was coming from Miumi would stumble upwards moving shakingly towards the door before he watched as the man placed what appeared to be akin to a crow bar in the narrow gap and began to apply his weight Miumi would tisk ever so slightly as he would join the man as Miumi pushed it the door flew open and the bar had bent in an awkward angle. What he saw through the large bay windows of the cock-pit was what scared him the most, He could see the ship had actually begun to drift forward and Miumi’s feet were beginning to slide he watched as the man beside him lurched forward smashing into the bay window with sickening cracks bones snapped and he became nothing more then a bloody pulp. Miumi’s hands shot out grabbing the edge of the elevator as he watched as various other people began to slid forward some held in their seats trying desperately to get out as Miumi watched as what was the ocean in the distance began to grow and the forest and plains below were enlarging quickly. What had been a mere speck of a dirt soon turned out to be a large pillar of stone and what looked like a moving sea of green was a large brush of forest. Miumi began to chant suddenly as he allowed one hand to dart downwards grabbing the base of his weapon he would swing it upwards and quickly pushed the button just before it slid from his hand in the midst of the elevator shaft it expanded it’s full width and fell back landing just narrowly from Miumi’s hand he would quickly grasp it shifting all of his weight to that but what was he doing. He was still chanting and around Miumi a couple strands of lightning could be seen dancing idly through the tips of his sable hair and flowing towards his hands. He was channeling the positive energy from this into himself while unleashing the negative into the scythe’s body creating a magnetic pull between the two and thus while everyone else was getting tossed around like a rag doll he remained fairly well in place. He would look back down one more time before suddenly a shadow of glass flew his way.
What happened next was a blurr as he heard the screams of the captain and the crew as the glass impaled them giving them no chance at life; while Miumi whom was further back was still cut up by the shrapnel most of the larger shards had already hit something or were breaking against one another leaving Miumi with a thin abrasive diamond like dust slicing into him. He felt his scythe buckling under the strain of his weight and allowed it to unflurl as he was quickly going towards the ground but also a closing gap that was his escape. With each moment the full weight of the ship crashed down harder and harder making the gap close. Miumi flew towards it shifting his weight by the use of his blood-caked tail and he would unleash the full effect of the thundera spell which grew so hot that the small gap that he had to escape from became a charred hole from the electrical energy as he slid through said hole he quickly rolled onto the ground and would begin to crawl away ducking nearby one of the trees as suddenly the ship he was on exploded as it was hit by a bolt of thunder. Miumi was coughing violently and ached as scatched lined his arms and torso and a few had his legs.
A jagged laceration went up along his right pectoral. He would just gingerly allowed his eyes to scan around searching for other survivors as far as he as he could see there was a rat-man, a couple chicks and another guy. He would cough still not able to say anything as he noticed the large impeding figure coming this way.
Lady Adiona slowly opened her eyes fully expecting to wake up in the Al Bhed just outside of Macalania, but what she saw when she opened her eyes was not what she expected at all. With a groan Adiona lifted her head and slowly tried to get to her feet, her long black hair fell over her shoulders as she leant forward on her hands. The ground was cold to the touch and...metal, ok wait a second.
I don't think we're in Kansas anymore Adi
Adiona quickly got to her feet and stumbled backwards hitting her back against the metal interior of an airship, she placed her hands against the airship wall and looked around for a few moments. This was really strange. She knew fine well she had not gone to sleep on an airship and would definetly remember being in one that had apparently crashed. Slowly but surely Adiona placed one foot in front of the other and walked down the ramp of the airship and onto terra firma. It was ground even if it wasn't familiar ground. She double checked her stave was still in its holster which thankfully it was. The summoner knew she didn't need it to summon any of her aeons or even to do magic but....well sometimes you just like to have something to grab hold of.
"Hello! Is anyone around."
Her eyes hadn't fully adjusted after waking up on a crashed airship and possibly being in it as it fell back down to Gaia. Adiona thought she could see a few figures but they could me mirages, then again her visions normally consisted of half naked men.

The storm gets stronger and stronger as the rain starts to beat down upon the plains of the Vedlt, revealing more and more of the giants shape as the rain started to run off of its large form, eventually running down into what seemed like weak rivers of rainwater hitting the ground around it.
The giants head couldn't be made out however its large arms seemed to be shimmering more violently than the rest of the giant. With a crack of thunder the giant beings to move, as if the thunder was its roar of rage, its left arm starts to move backwards and its hand seems to be in the form of a fist while the right arm reached down towards the ground and smashes into the earth before ripping up the ground infront of them all and throwing it up into the air.
It was obvious the giant was not friendly by this point, and with its size it would be a behemoth of a task to defend yourselves from its fists.

The rain fell sharply and hard onto her head, leaving trails of water down her face and arms. The sheer feriousity of this giant was only amplified by its rage induced action of ripping the very earth up. Adiona shook her head and pulled her stave out from its holster, she didn't even really care that there were people around. This thing had to be stopped and fast. Adiona ran towards it and stopped just so she could be close enough without the potental of being smashed by its fist.
The young summoner closed her eyes and began to dance twirling her stave in a delicate and intricate manner, the ground beneath her began to sparkle and crackle. She thrust her arm out as her stave gathered up enough electricity to throw a ball of it into mid air. As it stopped in mid air a horn appeared and then a head until finally the aeon Ixion had broken through the barrier. It galloped to Adiona's side and reared its front legs.
"Ixion my dear friend I ask you now to use your most powerful attack, hit it's left fist and halt it from attacking."
Ixion seemingly understood the summoner as it ran in a circle before stamping its feet into the ground. The horn upon its head began to gather more electricity until it shunted its head at the giant's left fist. As it struck the fist Ixion leaped into the air to fire off more lightning at the fist. Crackles of thunder and lightning. The attack exploded against the giant's fist as Ixion returned to the ground, Adiona turned to Ixion and bowed.
The left fist had for the moment been halted which was the idea, she could only hope now that everyone else could help.

Celes stood at the ready and yet what she saw did not in her wildest imagination expect to see. A large partially invisible giant with only his feet and hands visible. Inwardly she thought :: Well now this will be interesting... Time to show what I can do against such a beast.. It will not be like the last battle... :: As she thought and readied herself she felt a surge of magic and a woman step forth. She looked the part of a summoner of Yevon and played it to a T by summoning the horse Ixion. In fact she had Grand Summoned Ixion by Celes' understanding of Yevon. Watching the horse attack was awe inspiring as it single handedly dropped one of the hands.
A smirk crossed Celes' face as she turned back to the battle. "Guess I cannot allow myself to be overshadowed... Guess I bring out the big guns from the start this time..." With that she would remove her traveling cloak revealing her darkened mail armor and she would bring her blade around. Her left arm would begin to glow around the tattoo she had on it and she would speak up. "Come Tritoch. Master of the three elements of life. Crash down and cast down this giant..."
No sooner would her words be spoken than Celes would raise her arm up and a large phoenix looking bird would appear from it and screech loudly. From its mouth came a swirling vortex of magic. First to impact into the Giants right hand was a bright flash of lightning, then came the crashing noise of a exploding fireball, and then lastly came the shattering noise of an ice based attack. As her attack had impacted Celes made a move to stand in between the assembled group and the giant. If it was to take down this group it would have to go through her.

As the other survivors rushed headlong into battle against the monstrous titan ‘thing’, August opted for a different approach. He motioned for Kane to follow after being handed The Eastern Star. August scaled up the side of the wrecked air-cruise liner to a perch elevated just enough to get a clear shot over the wreckage littering the Veldt. Not that anyone, August or otherwise would need a clear shot considering the size of this thing, he however wasn’t particularly keen on having one of the others now caught up in this most unusual battle being inadvertently hit by what he was about to do.
Once on the perch, a jutting of iron crossbeams mangled in the crash and still warm from the raging fires consuming the vessel from within, August knelt to one knee while commanding Kane to brace him. Kane clasped August one both arms, one supporting his shoulder, the other at the upper-center of his back. August readied the rifle, set his sights and aimed high, and waited for Tritoch bird-beast to open a clear shot at the right fist. His finger graced a switch beside the trigger and the rifle begun to grow hot. The mechanisms adoring it’s surface started to glow and the heat wafting off its surface licked August’s fur like the hot breath of hell-fire. One second passed, two seconds, three – there, the Summon cleared and the way was open for a shot.
A deafening blast erupted from the rifle, the force sending both August and Kane skidding back a meter, as a wave of intense, amplified energy shot forth from the hull of the Brobdingnagian, over the Veldt and those below and straight into the Right Fist and Right Foot of the colossus. The blast of condensed energy washed over the giant extremities. Vaporizing the surface and boiling whatever constituted flesh of the creature.
August hobbled back to his feet, slightly disorientated and being assisted by Kane. The Eastern Star steamed, the metal coils and tubes still glowing white hot. It would take a several minutes for the weapon to cool. With the shot made, August motioned for Kane and the two jumped down from the perch and back onto the grassy Veldt, making his way towards the vicinity of the others.

SPACE MARKER Awe; had struck Miumi like the various bolts of lightning which rained down from the sky and spread across his face like it had done across the great Veldt plains, but his eyes still glimmered with the intensity of the jagged purple and blue bolts which struck the hulking hulls of what had used to be airship. A few cries echoed from the metal cages as those whom had survived but not yet managed to escape were being cooked alive. While Miumi’s mind was still addled and he wasn’t capable of fully comprehending what was going on until the earth would begin to rumble and shake and his gaze would focus upon the source. It was a giant metallic behemoth which dwarfed even the air-ships in size and would begin to up-heave a large chunk of the earth, but with the finesse and ease that-it did it was comparable to taking a blade through paper. A strange suspicion began to resonate through Miumi’s thoughts as he stared at the hulk beast as he saw it’s giant hands begin to clench turning large boulders into fine powder which rain down towards them stinging his eyes as a few pieces got stuck within one of them. His hand shot up covering that eye while the other would close for a moment.
Once the sharp jagged diamond dust had stopped biting at Miumi’s flesh he would allow his eyes to slide open once more the faintest hint of a tear could be seen sliding from his face as he would look ahead at the beast for one last moment taking in it’s golith form before he began to allow his eyes to scan the horizons for any other foes and then allowed it to scan among the twisted and mangled bodies of what used to be vessels for survivors. Disgust would overwhelm Miumi’s mind as he could only fathom how many hundreds possibly thousands of people had been on those ships yet so few of them had managed to survive; did this humes and members of other races truly possess such a weak desire to live on. Sympathy then rang through Miumi’s mind though as he looked between them and then to the mangled and charred and broken corpses that lay strewn around as if they were rag dolls; those poor unfortunate souls had managed to escape the fate of having to fight and thus didn’t have to deal with further pain as those whom had fallen had enjoyed a quick death.
His porcelain pale fingers would slowly begin to extend dropping towards his side again closing around the shaft of his beloved Okamiga no Oni ; the rush of thoughts began to become a dull throb or whisper in the back of his head as he felt the slightest hint of blood-lust and thirst for battle began to eat away at his mind. His free hand would slide upwards wiping his hair from his eye after a sudden barrage of rain would splatter against him matting his sable locks to his face and obscuring his vision for the briefest of seconds. It seemed though that a couple of the other survivors were beginning to take an initiative to and were beginning to launch a preemptive strike. His attention first fell upon one of the few survivors swarming around, a woman with long sable hair whom was quite pleasing to the eye; Adiona. She had him entranced as she began to break into a vaguely familiar dance and began to twist her darkened staff as she moved with each step she began to resonate a power that was familiar to Miumi.
An overwhelming pressure would suddenly slam down upon Miumi’s shoulder as he felt the magical energy resonating from her as she was building up the static energy before firing an orb into the air which suddenly would halt as if being held by invisible hands. The orb would distort ripping the very fabric of the dimensions as suddenly a golden horn would begin emerge though it was crooked and had what looked like a charm dangling from it. It’s matted and straggly white mane seemed to pulsate and come alive as it was moved not by the wind but by the millions of little arcs of lightning that bounced between the hairs. The power that radiated from that aeon; Ixion, dwarfed the power he had felt from Valefor whom he wasn’t sure would answer his pray at this moment. The once mighty lucavi felt feeble as his hair began to stand on end from the sheer power of the Thor’s Hammer that Ixion had launched and managed to cripple on of the beast’s limbs so easily. So that was the power that summoners truly possessed as they furthered their pilgrimage.
Soon the beast was recalled back to the netherlands which it had emerged giving it phantasmal qualities. Unfortunately for the giant the barrage of strikes coming it way wasn’t over yet as he noticed a pale figure moving gently her skin was so pale it rivaled Miumi’s and unmistakable aura of cold seemed to emanate from her. This woman was the notorious Celes Chere; unfortunately Miumi didn’t know of that yet as he watched as she would bring forth another summoned creature, but Miumi’s gaze didn’t linger as much as he felt it had magical power of a different degree but he couldn’t help but be consumed by awe as suddenly lightning would rain down upon another limb before the explosion of heat that caused tendrils of steam to dance through the air before the air would grow stagnant as it was frozen solid leaving a limb coated in diamond dust like fragments. The barrage wasn’t over yet as he noticed a rat like figure in the distance and barely had time to comprehend what had happened until he noticed there was an explosion and fire would roll over the metal. He soon would begin to chant lines of power would radiate around him before suddenly bolts of lightning would rain down upon it’s right foot. as he had used Thundara

The warm feeling of one's blood running down their forehead, leaving a small stained trail as it did so, creating a current to fuel the droplet which never seemed to run itself out even after leaving so much behind. As Jin sat up, spying the other air ships which fell from the sky, a sick grin formed onto his face as he felt that the true cycle has begun to take place. Gently lifting a finger to his forehead he allowed the droplet of blood to run across it, allowing it to roll over the side of his finger onto the tip before slowly bringing it to his lips and resting it in his mouth as he licked his finger clean, a slight slight smirk forming on his lips as he did this. Jin was certainly far more composed now, rather than how he was whilst falling from the sky in the airship, he no longer laughing like a complete mad man. Still as he looked to the sky, whilst hearing the sounds of the earth being ripped asunder from this metal monstrosities losing their wings so to speak. He couldn't help but feel a wave of bliss creeping over him, causing him to chuckle lightly as he pick himself up from the ground.
What followed next was of course the lightning which had began to strike, hitting several of the behemoths which had fell from the sky, causing a loud explosion from the initial hit. This quickly followed by the rain and the hard to miss giant in the sky. At first a mere illusion, but quickly it became a reality, taking form, albeit in the form of only its two hands and feet. Although even when considering the sizes of these appendages alone, it was difficult to fathom just how big this thing really was. Still Jin's eyes locked onto it, his lips still coiled into a coy grin. So this was cause for the devastation, the atonement as he had addressed it as. It wouldn't be long however before his attention had befallen on a few of the survivors from the crash, those whom began to take a stand against this being. Standing back a bit, Jin couldn't help but let out another light chuckle, condescending in nature as he saw himself looking upon mere fools who wished to combat that which claims them. Wiping his bangs from his face, they drenched from the rain which poured down upon him, soaking him through. His clothes beginning to stick to him.
Crossing his arms, his expression loosened a bit, the grin disappearing from his face back to that emotionless gaze he often held. Eye locking onto the battle which began to commence in the fields of Veldt which like him were soaked. The mere shifting on one's weight would cause the soil beneath one's feet to give way, no matter the weight. Even someone as light as Jin would cause this to happen as he shifted from from foot to foot. The battle had begun while he continued to merely observe, and it wasn't long before he was beginning to become rather annoyed with what he had seem. Something so big which had caused untold amounts of damage from it's neat little trick to cause ships to fall from the sky, even in all its intimidating size, it amounted to nothing. The survivors seemed to be making short work of the appendages which had presented itself to them, whether it be from summons or spells, all in all it amounted to one thing, causing this young man to actually begin to show a bit of anger.
Lowering his head slightly, eyes closed and brow furrowing, he couldn't help but curse at this thing for failing to do as he had expected. Uncrossing his arms, Jin soon slid them into the pockets of his socked jacket as he began to take the few steps he needed to approach the battle field if you wished to call it as such. Each step of the way he could hear the battle rage on mixed with the sound underneath him of the wet ground compressing underneath him, his boots digging in slightly. He never even opened his eyes until he was satisfied with the distance he had traveled, still a bit further back then the main line offensive people, but close enough to still do his thing. Slowly he allowed his head to rise, his eyes opening in a synchronized pace as he turned his attention upward, looking to where the head of this monster would have been if it had been visible or even there in the first place, as far as he knew this could be it. Pulling his right hand free of the confines of his pocket, he raised it, allowing it to rest upon his head, the tip of his thumb touching his temple, fingers dug into his hair whilst his pinky rested upon his forehead, each finger curled slightly.
"You are simply not worthy to be the one to bring these fools their end, to be the atonement for their sins..." Jin began to speak, which such volume that even through the powerful storm which had began to surge around them, that those close to him may have heard his words. It wouldn't amount to much even if they had more than likely as the fight was focused upon the behemoth rather than the crazy mutterings of a lunatic as he would likely be perceived. Still, given his speech it had began to become clear that Jin would actually lend a hand in this bout. He not at all impressed with this titan or it's ability to destroy or end the lives of a pack of worthless, insignificant souls. The hand which rested upon his head soon began to collect a bit of blackened energy around it. Beginning to show a bit of a blackened aura around it as he began to focus his magic as he stared on in mild disgust. "Kneel before the Darkness, and allow it to overtake your worthless existence, begone from my sight!" Jin shouted as he withdrew his hand from his head, holding an upturned palm out in front of him, a blacked orb forming above it.
With a simple flick of his wrist, he had sent a "Black Void" toward the left foot of the giant, the projectile traveling at a moderate pace before hitting it's mark, it expanding in size. Becoming a black hole of nothingness which began to suck in all that around it. Naturally as Jin had yet to perfect this technique, the spell was still moderately weak, although it had the potential to be powerful. For now however, as it had done it's damage, the vacuum to which the black hole began to pull stuff in, was only strong enough to root the grass of the plains and the pull the falling raindrops nearby into it.
They say that there isn't anything more agonizing than a bad shoulder, and for someone like Kira, that may possibly be the truth. For a Hand to hand combatant, losing the use of a single hand would be the equivalent of losing a weapon and as Kira continued to lie there amongst the tall grass, she had become painfully aware of this sad truth. While she felt she could continue to use her arm if need be, it wouldn't be wise as each swing would cause untold amounts of pain for her to do so. As such the young woman was forced to use her right arm to push herself up off the ground as the storm came in, bringing down heavy rain which covered the entire battlefield, whilst also unveiling the giant in the sky. Rather it uncovered it's hands and feet, although this detail mattered not at the moment.
What did matter was that she wasn't the only person as it would seem which was a survivor to this predicament, survivors which were now gathering as one to combat this foe which had formed in front of them. Finally getting to her feet, Kira tucked her left arm into her body as she moved along the plains of Veldt once again, observing her allies of the moment it would seem as they attacked each limb of this titan whom was still shrouded in mystery. Certainly it would be. Their means of attacks varied, but naturally Kira was far less of a flashy fighter than these people it would seem. Rather than casting a spell, she was quick, hurt shoulder and all to rush in headstrong at what she could get too, aiming for that left foot as she prepared a technique she dubbed "Blood Fang". Whilst normally she liked to grab her foe by the face as she did this, there was no face to grab per say. However that wasn't say say she couldn't grab something right? Upon grabbing hold of the foot, her weapon immediately discharged a shot from her pilebunker for some quick damage, utilizing her good arm before jumping back slightly.
The mountainous figure didn't seem to reel at all from the barrage of attacks it had recieved from them all, however the left fist unclenched and seemed limp while the right fist seemed to barely be clenched, no blood or anything dropped from the figure as it was attacked. However it did seem to have noticed the group as thunder cracks through the air as a roar erupts from the figure as its right fist is thrown forward towards August, grabbing the burmecian and quickly throwing him up into the air. August is afflicted by Doom, counter is 3 rounds starting now. At the same time August is luanched into the Air the figure lifts up its right foot and then brings it down onto Celes attempting to crush her under its heel. Celes is not afflicted by Death.

A light smile decorated her face as she turned back to view the giant, there was no telling where this thing had come from. Perhaps it had been resting within the mountains and had now just woken up. It seemed this thing was still going strong and had also put some sort of curse onto one of the fighters.
"Alright you bastard....try this on for size."
Adiona closed her eyes and began to dance again, she had never watched a summoning take place but she imagined it to be elegant and beautiful. Lady Adiona could feel the heat beneath her feet as she moved to summon Ifrit. Suddenly the ground beneath broke free and she found herself in the air, it was an amazing sensation as she was grabbed by Ifrit and placed onto the ground safely. The summoner turned to the creature and nodded, it dug its claws into the ground and aimed its head straight for the giant. A large fireball shot out engulfing the giant just as Ifrit tore up a huge piece of land and threw it at the giant.
A massive explosion almost blowing Adiona back occurred and just as quickly as Ifrit was summoned he was gone. He had done his job and he had done it well.

Watching Tritoch inflict its damage upon the beast brought a twisted smile on her face. It had been quite too long since she had been inside of a good old fashioned knock down drag out brawl. She felt Augusts shot come flying past her and she smiled knowing that this was going to be a good fight. Getting herself ready she would be watching the movement of the beast and would barely dodge out of the way of. She had felt something come off the foot and seemingly skin right past her barely missing her. A little uneerving to her but she would pay it no more heed instead she would take the opprotunity to spin around and back into the fight as she watched the summoner get back to work.
This time she would see a beast of great fire emerge. :: Ifrit :: Would be the words in her mind as she watched him blast the left foot of the beast with an unholy hellish firestorm. Celes's smirk would widen and she would raise her hand up. An immense cold would be felt to any nearby her and those at a distance would see particles of ice start swirling around her hand. "You have tasted the heat of the summoners of Yevon... But you havent felt the chill of the undisputed Queen of Ice you beast..."
A cocky arrogant tone was around her voice as she formed the spell upon her hand. "Arctic winds bring forth the ultimate in punishements for the wicked. Freeze them to their core... Blizzaga." Her spell would fly off her hand and impact directly into the right foot covering the entirety of it in a shell of frozen dust. As the spell had flown off her a smile was on Celes' face as this was one of her best and most powerful spells, not to mention her trademark spell.

As August emerged from between the wreckage, the giant took notice of the dark little shape upon the grass. Unaware of the impending danger from above, too caught up in reloading a tiny sphere of Mist into his rifle as he approached the openness of the field, he would notice the shadow falling over him too late. He slammed the recharge into his rifle and took aim at the hand coming for him but it was too late, it snatched him up. August struggled to breath and free himself and just when he thought he was slipping from the hand, he was launched into the air like a spider flicked from a man’s arm. This, however, did not detour him from getting one, single solitary shot out before succumbing to the effects of gravity. A bright spark arched its way from a point in the sky, just skirting by the hand that had snatched him up a moment before and streaked into the giant’s Left Foot.
It took several moments for August to come plummeting back to Gaia. He fell in a twirl, blinded from the air rushing past him could estimate a count to his eventual splattering across the grass-lands. Three… two… one and – He somehow landed relatively softly in someone’s arms. He shook himself coherent and glanced up.
“Ah, Kane,” he uttered, slightly surprised but half-expedient. “Good catch, as always.” August leapt from his arms, planting himself back in the grass. He gave himself a once over, checking his equipment. It was all there, and it was about this time he felt somehow peculiar. Kane made a low grunt and nod, his eyes transfixed to something atop August’s head. August looked up, nothing but sky. “Yes?” He sounded slightly annoyed. “What is-“
Kane stepped to the side, ripping a plane of glass from the fuselage of a downed airship and flipped it so August could see his reflection. There, atop the rat-man’s head was a flickering number ‘3’. August tried swatting it away with his hand but to no avail. He cursed loudly, “Doom!?” He scolded, turning back towards the lumbering Giant. “It’s suppose to be ten!” He grudgingly mumbled some incoherent curses, then spoke an aside to Kane to ready a Life spell the moment the countdown finished while he prepared for his next shot.

Normal Attack with Eastern Star: 70 damage to Left Foot.
The prize was within sight for Kira who did her best to stay out of the attacks which were flung back at them for their assault on the titan. A few people not being as lucky as herself who seemed to be left alone, ultimately leaving one person doomed and not at all happy about it. Still the group didn't relent to this beast as they once again were lashing out another assault onto the titan, able to dismantle yet another limb in the left foot, leaving it finished. Naturally for Kira her attention fell upon the only other limb within her immediate grasp and that would be the right foot of this beast. Although she still couldn't help but feel a bit out of her league in this fight as she continued to look around and taking note of the people summoning large beasts of doom which seemed to be doing far much more than her at this point.
"Compression Shot" Kira announced quietly as she allowed her left hand to glide up and grab the top of her pilebunker by its casing, pulling it back with a loud cocking sound, very much in the same fashion you would hear from a pump action shotgun. This would allow her to give herself a bit of an extra oomph to her next attack and perhaps actually stand out amongst them, rather then seeming like the little girl she felt she was at this point. It pained her to imagine herself inferior to so many in the group, it taking a few shots to her pride but what could she really do aside put her best effort in?

Disgust continued to settle in with Jin who could only continue to look on at this abomination which stood before him. Their so called destroyer being picked apart piece by piece by this pathetic group of simpletons? Hardly worth his own effort and even his hatred. His eyes had quickly moved to the side to spy a Summoner of Yevon whom had done her fair share of damage using the Aeon's of the temples of Spira by those raised on the continent to believe the ways, the teachings of Yevon. he could only scoff as each limb was practically decimated under the power of these beast's under her control, the same beasts who were ultimately no real solution to Sin were here to put this beast away. The rain, the droplets of water continuing to drop from his clothes, continuing to run down from his hair, over his nose and into his eyes. He continued to look on with that expression, that disgust which built up inside of him, that desire to see this worthless insect exterminated from his sight.
Continuing the assault would be certainly one way of doing that and his target was pretty clear as the group was very methodically working together to take a limb out at a time. A smart tactic to be sure, to eliminate a limb to ensure it would be out of commission to attack, therefore taking away the amount of damage this beast could really do as opposed to what it could do with all four limbs. A very basic combat practice and yet very effective, something Jin almost felt he should congratulate these people on, but that would be assuming of course they were worthy of his praise, which as he looked around, he doubted that very much. Still as he retained his usual, calm and expressionless face about him, he turned his attention back to the titan in question, ready to assert himself yet again.
Focusing on his own magical prowess, the young man could feel a warm sensation building up into his hand for a split second before it erupted into a violent flame which engulfed his hand. Slowly raising said hand into the air, he held it out infront of him, finger fully extended and pointing right for the right foot of the beast. "I told you to disappear..." He would repeat once more before that very eruption which had over taken his hand erupted onto the right foot of the beast, both sharing the qualities until the flamed which covered his hand slowly began to die out as the flames on the foot of the giant seemed to vanish within an instant of eruption.
Symphonic; the unison of so many rising crescendos; whom were fighting to survive and the diminuendo of the various parts of the giant as they were deadened by the efforts of the chorus of blows that the beast had suffered. The power of each of the people was immeasurable and some of them were capable of dwarfing Miumi; whom was a former Knight of Apis and had been fighting long since they were born while in theory he would be a superior fighter but in means of power he had lost much of his; all in a moment when htat contract had been formed. He listened to the silent requiem; an unspoken fear that lingered within each of them; yet many of them were simply too proud to say anything.
Miumi would choke on his own breathe for a moment as suddenly another creature was being brought forth; Ifrit, another aeon whom Miumi had yet to acquire he found himself frozen in place the only part of him moving was is hair undulating in the gentle caress of the pain breeze. The way that the flames danced around the other summoner so gently before focusing in their hands and being dropped to the ground. The moment it connected it seemed to flare outwards as if it had a life of it’s own, yet it was simplier described as a hunger and a strive at life; as the flame gluttony spread outwards in a circle that was well past Adionai’s reach before it would almost cripsen the ground as thin wisps of steam and smoke rose upwards the ground would begin to splinter. Thick heavy smoke seemed to ooze from the molten glowing cracks until the very soil began to warp from the pressure of the heat and the dormant beast which was straining against the earthly confines. Suddenly an explosion of the earth would cause a sudden jets of steam to spread across the expanses and all Miumi saw as the summoner’s figure being flung into the air with an almost look of shock and dismay across his face assuming that it had been the work of the monster.
Soon from the fine misty steam would emerge the beast that she had summoned forth; Ifrit, whom radiated a different presence then Valefor, whom radiated an almost peaceful and gentle nature that caused waves of serenity to come crashing down upon Miumi’s fear addled mind. Ifirit had another effect from that Miumi felt the warmth of anger and hatred and almost carnal lust to be able to spill blood and rip muscle and flesh asunder and turning it into sinewy masses that had once been alive. He stood silently agape at the sight that was laid out before him as he watched the feral beast move with such gentleness as it positioned itself to catch it’s summoner. Then it would release the pyroclasm that was known as hell fire and Miumi stood in awe as heat would waft back causing him to cough violently at the sudden dry air that would sting his throat. Glowing embers rained from the sky from where it had connected with one of the beasts titanic libms and Miumi would soundlessly praise his luck; for having such diverse and powerful warriors with him. Soon the plain would grow cold as the Ice Queen ; Celes Chere would summon forth an ungoldly Blizzaga
Jagged and sharp crystalline blades suddenly jutted into existence as the molecules in the air suddenly pulled in tightly along the arm and burst inwards and outwards resulting in a sudden wasteland of ice before it would snap off. He watched silently as August would begin to fire from his rather unique and diverse looking gun while MIumi would walk forward moving with a quickening pace heading towards Kaine. He would actually burst into full run as he saw a flicker of Kira. He would wave softly as he would push upwards in time to see the flames lashing outwards. He would bite his lip in concentration as he connected with Kaine’s shoulders his presence was brief; but a mere flicker of a second as MIumi would propel himself onto one of the ships and began to leap quickly up the mass of the ship; if a foothold was not found he made one with a quick swing of his scythe. He knew that he could do this as he quickly ascended. His body would move towards the very tip yet still he was so far away. Suddenly Miumi would push offwards with a strength that actually caused a larger portion of the ship to suddenly juxtapose outwards; inspite of such a lean figure such physical strength was capable of being exerted.
HIs figure would flow effortless upwards while Miumi began to reach the peak of his ascent he would arch his back and allow his body to begin to come down as he did so he would shift his weight forward sending him into a full blown summersault within air as he did so he would manage to gather enough force to pierce and crack the RIGHT ARM of the beast open a little his scythe would lodge itself within and he would look upwards towards the sky before casting a dismissive gaze back towards the ground suddenly he allowed his legs to piston forward propelling his weight backwards and freeing his blade as he would move downwards he would allow the blade to lash out a series of time each rewarding the people below with a sudden shimmer of sparks which splayed outwards highlighting the empty and placid look upon Miumi’s face; this was routine for him.
As he came to the hands Miumi’s foot would fly outwards sending Miumi’s body into crescent moon arch and he would stare upwards at the sky as he began to fall before his body would begin to shift backwards. Miumi’s body would begin to twist and turl as it readied itself for the rapidly approaching ground as MIumi came in he would bring one leg down first; it would resonate with pain and his hand would shoot outwards and his other leg came down allowing theo ther to spread out dispersing the pressure as Miumi’s hand would rise they could clearly see alot of the skin ahd been removed from the friction of the earth; and narrow nicks from the grass sliding against his skin resulting in hair fine cuts. His gaze slid upwards as he would straighten up.
With the second barrage attacks the situation changed as the mountainous figure staggered backwards as its right arm went limp and soon afterwards its right foot went from under it as it crashes down to the ground with a thunderous smash, the figure managed to catch itself with its two hands. Again there was no blood coming from the figure. More of the mountainous figure seemed to be visible now as its stone like skin was revealed along its arms and legs, it seemed like ancient stone older than anything any of you would of seen before. A moment passes and the stone seems to start pulsating with energy that soon radiated over the mountainous figure. Unknown is restoring itself

Adiona rubbed the sweat that had mixed in with the dirt flying up from the ground due to all the attacks everyone had been focusing on this giant. Adiona looked over to the other summoner. She knew she was down to her last aeon and obviously using her aeon's special attacks were only good for one shot. It was time for Valefor to arrive and this time for him to stay out.
Lady Adiona summoned up her last bits of strength to begin the summoning for Valefor, beneath her feet multi coloured symbols appeared. The summoner closed her eyes as she elegantly moved her body with her summoning stave, she twirled her body in many different ways. If this was going to possibly be the place she died she was going to go out with style. From the sky a twinkle shone and then the magnificent bird like aeon Valefor flew down and landed. Lady Adiona sheathed her summoning stave and casually walked over to him, she petted his soft head as she climbed upon his back.
"Lets give it our best shot Valefor."
With that the great beast stretched out his wings and began to hover in mid air, not at eye contact with the giant but around its chest height. Valefor then reared his head back and shot out a line of red energy at the giant's left foot hitting it for a considerable amount of damage.

Watching the beast Celes would notice how the beast did not strike at any of its attackers. Instead it seemed to stop moving for a minute and then every piece they had injured seemingly reanimated itself. Celes would utter a curse under her breath and look for who would be moving next. Seeing the summoner of Yevon move Celes would watch which appendage she was going after. Mostly as Celes felt her own internal mana reserve being rather low so these next attacks would need to count. Seeing the form of Valefor emerge and strike urged Celes to move as well. Dodging around the foot Celes would move toward what Adiona had attacked.
Raising her hand up she would point it at the left foot and would focus. Speaking up an incantation for a spell she would continue focusing as doing so.
"Rend the flesh, Char the bone of the wicked. Flare."
Her spell would shoot off of her hand and directly into the left foot damaging it with the spell.
Anger & Fear, they had taken refugee upon his face as he noticed their own dwindling forces and how the nearly crippled beast had managed to heal itself, but then there was that other summoner, Adionia. She had already brought out two aeons which Miumi hadn’t even heard of yet; a slight sense of worthlessness began to spread across his minds, but he was realizing how weak he was compared to some of these warriors. For the first time since the beginning of the battle had Miumi truly realized how fatigued and sore he felt; his muscles were screaming bloody murder and sweat had become a liquid blanket upon his skin and it clung to his brows and would drip down into his eyes resulting in a sharp stinging pain that caused his breathe to hitch momentarily. Small scratches adorned his body from head to toe and his hands were still numb from allowing his scythe to make contact with the beast as he would relax his grip on his scythe hadn’t realize how much until he felt his grip become weightless his hand would suddenly dive downwards and clench once more. His breathe was ragged and drawn out almost pitiful. He wished for this battle to be over as he as he looked out upon the carnage of the battlefield; twisted forms that had once been bodies were impaled with spike upon spike or their bones had been snapped causing parts of their body to hang limply or were jutting out at grotesque angles. Children, woman and man alike were thrown around the Veldt Plains as if they were nothing more than this giant’s little play toys that it had broken. His resolve was faltering as he found his body had become a burden to keep up and he would slink slide ways allowing his body to rest against the mangled hull of a ship. His breathe would even out slightly yet still with each inhale there was a raspy note that filled the air. His dichromatic eyes would rise upwards though in defiance of his body and in rage as he realized how little this thing valued life and his grip would tight he would watch as Adionia brought Valefore forth and had it unleash rays of energy upon the beast with a relentless strike and Celes danced among the battle field releasing a flare upon it and Miumi would stumble forward. His movements were uneven and off time with each one but as he began to move forward he found a reservoir of energy his body would piston forward and Miumi would allow himself to grow close climbing up a ship he would begin to chant once again. His body glowed slightly for a moment and sparks would begin to dance around his figure with an almost delicate nature but suddenly his hand would extend outwards and he would allow a sudden whip of lightning to snake forward towards colliding with the left foot as well Miumi’s figure would fall forward again as he found himself kneeling like a knight before his master as he caught his breathe
August was having none of this nonsense, the battle had already gone on far too long and this was supposed to be a vacation none the less. With the Doom counter lingering over his head like the Sword of Damocles, August lowered his rifle and raised his blood scared right hand towards the giant in the sky. In a hushed whisper, he uttered incomprehensible incantations of the most dark and eldritch of nature, bringing forth a swirling blackness, wrapped in ropey tendrils that seeped forth from his auditory orifices. The darkest of arts, the most forbidden of magicks spewed out from his form like the blood for a slaughtered lamb struck at the neck as they formed and consumed.
They lifted the little rat man off the ground as they wrapped around his form; Kane stepping a few paces back as a pool of concentrated darkness, so rich and deep that light failed quell its approach. Like the seeping of oil, it spread out from under August till it begun to concentrate into a shiny black orb beneath him. The ropey tendrils reached out and gripped the building mass, raising it high. The sky begun to turn tormentious, clouds took on an eerie and otherworldly hue, the sun suddenly eclipsed and the world fell into darkness. August took his red right hand up slowly, methodically, then flicked forward towards the giant. Darkness exploded all around, like an explosion void of light, it enveloped everything before him as it flung away from his figure. The world exploded once more into light as Darkaga wrapped and devoured the extremities of the Giant in strangling power.
August dropped back to the ground, stumbling. He shook off the sensations, flipped back his rifle into right hand once more and prepared for the retaliation as the Doom counter ticked down once more. HP:375 MP:55 (115 – 60) Darkaga used, 120 damage to all limbs.
The Third barrage the mountainous figure crashes down on one knee, the ground quakes violently as its knee connects with the ground however unlike last time it wasn't brought completely off balance yet whatever the figure had been doing was interrupted as the pulsating energy vanishes soon after. Whatever this figure was three things would be clear about it, the first was that it certainly wasn't made of flesh and blood as more and more of the figure appeared as ancient stone, the second was that it was at least aware of them as a pest and the third was that it was like nothing any of you had seen on Gaia before nor heard in legend.
Both of its arms where swiftly raised above itself, its fists tightening as they were raised, what was coming would be easy to guess in the few moments before the fists were brought down onto the ground. The air explodes with sound as the ground cracks violently around everyone, knocking you all around violently, even the Aeon Valefor would take a violent beating.
Unknown's restoration was interupted Left Fist: Smash: 40 damage to all. Right Fist: Smash: 40 damage to all. Augusts' Doom counter is at 1 rounds. August will be KO'ed after his next action.

Lady Adiona looked around to see that another summoner had fallen in the midst of that last attack. August didn't have long until the magic the beast cast took effect. Valefor was still by her side but only barely, this was a now or never situation. Adiona knew Valefor had one last powerful attack to unleash and in doing so would disable the right foot of the creature. Lady Adiona stepped backwards and looked up to Valefor
"Valefor you know what to do....give it all you've got!"
Her voice bellowed around the lands as she gave the order to Valefor, her aeon immediately sprung into action. His majestic wings opened wide as he reared his head. A red burst of energy shot out from his mouth hitting the beast on his right leg. The blast was so powerful it disabled the foot and withdrew Valefor from the field of battle. Lady Adion stepped forward through the dust and dirt holding her stave tightly in her hands. The strong wind from the attack blew back her long black hair which whipped out behind her
"Lets finish this."

Celes felt the blows from the giant rained down upon her. Hitting her multiple times she felt sections of her armor take the blows and she would be staggered. Slowly she would stagger up to her feet looking around at the others. One had fallen to the ground, another looked like death warmed over, The summoner of Yevon was faring better yet was also showing signs of fatigue from the prolonged battle. As for herself she felt like hell warmed over and knew this battle would be much tougher than initially anticipated.
Raising her blade she would point it toward the fallen member of their attacking group as she would make some space between herself and the giant.
"Life refreshing breeze, breath life back into the lifeless. Life."
Casting the White Magic onto Miumi she would move herself as fast as she could to what she believed was a safe distance from the giant. Raising her blade she would get herself ready for the next onslaught which would not be quite friendly as the giant has shown in the past.

Awaken; after the beast had hit the beast with it’s mighty fists it had sent wave upon wave of debris towards the entire party and MIumi being the closest appeared to take the brunt of it as pieces of earth bomb-barded his body. HE was able to keep up with them at first weaving his scythe in intricate patterns that would either cleave the rocks in twain or deflect them away with a flick ofh is wrist until a large one would collide with Miumi’s scythe with enough force to knock Miumi backwards before his body was buried under the rest of the debris that rained down he found it was hard to breathe almost impossible and a stream of crimson had emerged from his stomach where a chunk had pierced through him it appeared it had also hit one of his vital points and he began to cough blood up in an almost sickening amount but it appeared that the Queen of Ice didn’t wish to see a warrior fall as the divine light would flow in with enough power that it pushed away the rock revealing Miumi’s mangled body but as the light connected Miumi’s body would slowly rise up.
The color would restore to his petite face; despite the frail and almost unsteady legs that he stood upon would quiver one could hear Miumi chanting; the arcs of electrical energy would dance around Miumi once more as he covered his wound not only using the electrical energy to attack but he used it to dis-infect and staunch the bleeding in his stomach; by this point he couldn’t feel much of anything but as he raised his hand suddenly another and hopefully final THUNDARA spell was unleashed causing lightning to dance around Miumi for a moment before it split into a variety of arrows that were fired forward in volleys while Miumi retreated. IT would become apparent that Miumi’s target was right arm. Miumi would move back awkwardly stumbling to the debris of one of the planes allowing his body to slump downwards he would cradle his injuried sides looking towards Celes. A soft wave was given a smile could be seen on Miumi’s face.
