He sat there at his bed with his hands over his eyes. It had been several days now since he had found himself in this new Gaia, sent back into the past or something of the sort... He really had no idea what it was. The time he did remember though, it was the period shortly after he had crashed a stolen plane from Junion on the outskirts of Lindblum. He remembered that time clearly; after crashing he had spent weeks, no not weeks, but months, in Lindblum. Which eventually led him to his first meeting with the Gaian Union. Things were different though, wrong in many ways...
One big thing that stood out was that Sin was not dead. Did that mean Zero was still a summoner on a pilgrimage to stop it? He wondered if the Zero he knew had been tossed into this reality as well... He moved from his seated position and to the window of his hotel room. His eyes looked out at the city of Lindblum; he liked this place... Never really had a true annoyance here to bug him. Well except for that dragon in one of the bars that he had been sent into a fight against; been a bit careless and got beaten up... Still ended up getting a job from the bar keep though. He shook his head, wasn't going to relive that situation again.
He moved to his equipment and gathered up his things. He would move out of here today. Take a few looks around the city and venture out to do what he had planned to do when he opened that god forsaken gateway...
The city of eagles, the city of dragons, of serpants. The regency of Lindblum was never a sight that got boring. The air traffic here exceeded anywhere else on Gaia, in fact even public transport was based on defying the laws of gravity. Despite not being as technologically advanced as other counties like Esthar or Midgar. Lindblum still had the largest airforce on Gaia, and was more than capable of bending a side in a war. Which was ironically, the precise reason why the black wind had choosen this place as his next port of call. He slowly walked in through the dragons gate on the lower quarters of Lindblum, the gate was rarely ever used due to the dangers of the Mist, a strange substance that coated several continents in this area and caused monster encounters to be much more varied and unpredictable.
For now Kaze had been walking several days in the mist since getting off a ship near the port on the other side of this Continent. He'd tried accessing Lindblum thorugh higher methods, however unfortunatly they seemed down for repairs. Although he would not look it, or show it. He was actually exhausted. Walking through the mist meant dealing with the dangers it brought. There was no solace or rest for those who walked in that wilderness. Things got worse at night. Not better. And the ma gun had seen its fair share of action before the nights were over. He took the cart along to the central platform area, where he boarded the elevator and ascended into the more grand location of the castle of Lindblum. A place which was, for the most part, completely open to the public. Of course the regents quarters would be off limits to those who wern't VIPs. However this didn't bother him in the slightest. He was here to observe and study. At least. For now.
Once he was ready Tzigone left his room and the hotel. A new journey did await him on this Gaia, but he wondered if he would encounter any old foes. He shook his head, no need to think about any of them for now. He walked casually down the street, his hands stuffed into his side pockets and a brand new hat tilted down over his forhead to hide some of his face. As he walked through the city his eyes observed most of the details going on, even the slightest non important ones; over the years he had grown more catious of what was going on around him. Then he saw the air station which would take him to Lindblum Castle. Tzigone had been debating it for a while now, should he even try to reveal who he was and where he was really from? In many ways he doubted that people would believe him, mark him as crazy. Where as others might believe him and do one of two things, lock him up out of distrust or go along with what he had to say. Tzigone sighed and shook his head, as good as he knew the regent was, there was no way he could place his true idenity at risk this early.
He walked past the air station and in the direction of his favorite bar (well what used to be his favorite bar in his Gaia). Walking inside he was pleased to find it pretty much the same. Taking a seat down at the bar he laid down a few gil and ordered a cold drink. One last drink before hitting the long road ahead. When he got his drink he slowly started to drink it down. While he did this his eyes scanned the bar and his ears listened to the people around him; he wanted to figure out what was going on in the world right now.

ooc: xD would have joined up, but had no reason to go to the castle.
The Black Wind walked through the docks of the castle, taking note of defencive positions and several fortified areas that would privide cover should they face an enemy armed with more than just swords. Magic and bullets were as deadly as any blade. Why did he do this, take note of all these things that would happen incase of war times? Certainly wasn't for fun that was sure, it was a tedious task. He always told himself that it was because he didn't want to see Gaia go up in flames. But maybe it was because he wanted to know the strengths of both sides before choosing which one to join himself. After he'd completed his viewing of the public areas open in the castle he walked outside towards the aircab station. There he'd grab a ride into the civllian districts of this city.
In the aircab, he found it rather uncomfortable. He'd not been in a floating veichle before. Perhaps an airship yes, but this was cramped space. And he didn't trust the building of it. His eyes constantly shooting downwards to the city below. Wondering just what would happen if one of the engines caught light, or if one of the aircabs ploughed into the other. Closing his eyes he held his breath. Thankfully the ride was short. And soon enough he found himself back on solid ground. With luck near enough the cab station was what appeared to be a bar, hopefully they'd have a bed. Or know of a good inn. Walking in he looked around. There were a few people here. Not many of them having any distinguishing features. However there was one at the bar. He gave off a strange feeling. He felt it stir. The ma gun. Strange. Ignoring this for the moment however he walked further in and grabbed a stool by the bar. Being quiet for the moment.
As he drank, Tzigone would notice an odd fellow entering the bar. Granted a lot of the people who entered these places looked suspecious; however, this one stood out. Careful not to stare, Tzigone only viewed the man out of the corner of his eye as he continued to drink down his wiskey. As the man moved and took a seat at the bar Tzigone grew a little more suspecious. It was times like this that he wished Bahamut, Kajata, and Ark still were around to talk with him in his mind. That way they could look him over and say weither or not he could be an enemy. Though one thing on him was telling him something was different about this person. Tzigone had taken a glance down at his weapon which was in a sheath on attatched to his belt. A small edge of the blade was glowing a light shade of blue... It only did that at rare times around certain beings or in a fight with a fiend.
Finishing off his drink, Tzigone layed the glass back down on the bar. The ice in the glass chattered for a second. Without looking towards the strange, man Tzigone spoke. "They serve some of the best wiskey around here. Tastes smoother and gives more of a kick then what you can get in a place like Midgar."
Tzigone turned his head slightly so that he could stare coldly towards the guy for a second. As the barkeep came back, Tzigone turned his gaze away and tapped his glass. The barkeeper took it and filled it up with a fresh drink. As Tzigone took it he spoke again.
"Who are you?" It was not a threatening voice, but more so just blank and to the point. To be fair Tzigone had no purpose of starting a fight here, nor did he want to.
Immediatly his eyes flicked over to the strange man who had started to speak. The mans voice was gruff and dry, being reflected in his choice of drink. Lines on his face told more of hardship seen and overcome than many in this place. The man spoke of alcohol. Quality, and the differences you could find in different bars within the continents. He gave a slight nod to this. Remaining silent for the most part but then opening his mouth to let out precious few words. " The air of that city is polluted....so should be the water that makes the drink....I find it....diluted...there...". It wasn't a lie. Drink in Midgar did tend to be watered down a lot, depending on the drink. How much they had in stock, and of course how much could be reordered. It was all relavent.
It was then the man turned to face him, the few seconds seemed like an eternity as they stared each other down. Like two wolves in opposing territories. The mans gaze was like ice, at that moment Kaze realised this man must be judging him. They both knew, there was something....different. About the other. This man had the eyes of a war veteran, a man who had watched the world asit burned. A dangerous kind of foe. But then. The Black Wind was not a push over either.
"Who am I?....a smart question. For names mean little....". He ordered a drink from the barkeep the same drink that the man had currently. He drank it down in one shot and looked back over. " I'm one who does not wish to see this world burn....the planet has strength and potiental....but ultimately that would be its downfall if it remains on the course it is....already I see tension rising between Galbadia and Midgar......it won't be long before a war starts...".
A slight smirk went across Tzigone's face as the guy spoke about how name's only ment little. That smirk faded though as the man went on. Speaking of how he wished to not see the world burn and how the planet had potential. Then the mention of Galbadia and Midgar starting a war. He would let out a small heh at the end of that last part; Those two countries always had it out for one another. He finished off his second drink and placed the glass down. He was done with that now; otherwise, he would be slipping back into his alcoholic ways like the old days. He sighed slightly before he started to speak.
"The planet does have much potential, but there are many more factors then just wars between two countries... Midgar and Galbadia would only be one of the few reasons that would cause this planet to burn... There are individuals out there; plotting and planning their own wave of destruction and hardships for Gaia... They'll all try and some will be stopped. However, in the end the world would still be sent into an age of ruin unless something is done now."
Tzigone's eyes went to the table, glaring towards his hands that he now rested on the bar. Gazing at the scars of battle from the past... Each of them telling a different story, each of them telling a of different event that in some way changed the landscape of his Gaia. "I saw a world of ruin once... I won't let the people here experience one as well."
The mans words had done nothing to the black wind but stir up memories that were more dead and gone now than they had been in a long time. He spoke truely this one, his face showing the strain of a hard life, the face of a man whos fell upon hard times. Yet he had the body and stare of a fighter, a man whos seen the fires of war and returned. But not unscathed. Be that in body or mind. His words, held more truth than perhaps was thought of by Kaze. He had always thought it was the corruption of the central goverments in this world and conflict between them that would lead to this worlds ultimate destruction. But here was this man saying that the larger picture didn't matter. It was individuals, people in a crowd that would destroy the world. He tuoght about that idea for a moment and then looked back at him again.
" People like the Sorceress.....Sephiroth of Soldier.....those with too much power in one frame.....those who leave their own marks......".
He nodded. It made sense. Sephiroth himself was treated like a hero, but there was something about the man that he just didn't like. It was a feeling, that if one thing triggered him. He'd go completely off tracks. Those that pulled his strings might find that their own weapon was the one that would deal to them the killing blow. The sorceress. She was locked away in Esthar, imprisoned somehow, her threat was little, at least for now. However things had a way of turning themselves on their head. " You are perhaps right about one thing....I've been hearing stories coming from Galbadia......I thought that Adel was the only Sorceress.....but apparantly the Galbadians have one....not heard much about her appearance.....or a name......however.....she could be a danger.....". He closed his eyes and brought his drink to his lips. " So I've told you my name...shall you return the courtesy?".
Tzigone looked slightly towards the man as the guy spoke to mention the Sorceress and of Sephiroth. Tzigone knew of both in his own time. In fact if he remembered right there had been a couple of Sorceresses. As for Sephiroth... He remembered being there when the man seemed to go insane. That was a threat worth bringing down before it got to large. Tzigone looked away and blinked, so many things could be done in this world to prevent so much... Yes, it was good that he could do these things, but thinking of the trouble he had to go through was annoying.
He turned his focus back to the man as the request for his name was done. A small smirk crossed his face. "Odd, Not once have I heard you speak of your name. Only words to describe what kind of a person you are. Though if you wish to know my name, it is Tzigone." Tzigone shifted in his seat a bit, these stools proved to be bad for the back after a while. "As for what you said, you would be right in assuming that there is another Sorceress. The same goes for Sephiroth, he'll be trouble some day... If things go the same way as they did from where I came from. Though this world still has Sin, who should have been defeated by now." This is what troubled Tzigone a bit... There were things here in this time that were different from his own. Sin was still in Spira for one and there had been no information on a few certain people he once knew.
" My apologies....must be the drink". He smirked. " For a moment I was sure I had given my name...". He shook his head lightly. " My name is Kaze". Once more the mans words made him suspisious, particualrly the use of. " If things go the same way". Was he like himself? Did this Tzigone come from another world?. If this were true then it would be one similar to this, he spoke of events going the same way, thus his world must have already experienced such things. Then again,he could just be another one of those crazies. But then, so could Kaze. And he knew he was from another world all together. For now, he'd let this note in the conversation drop.
" Sin?....the monsterous glue that holds Spira together...".
He laughed lightly. " Ever since I came here.....there has been laws of contradiction....when I went to Spira I noticed there it was most strong...". He looked at Tzigone. " Sin is Spira's biggest threat...a plague....a monster capable of such great devistation....causing untold misery and sorrow to the inhabitants of the continent". He couldn't he himself for laughing. He then closed his eyes and stopped. Maybe it was the drink. " But...without Sin there would be no need for Yevon....Yevon is the only hope of Spira...a theocrasy that gives them what they need to hear...and is in essense the only thing that binds the people of that continent together...". He smirked. " Many a time I've thought.....perhaps Spira would be a worse place if Sin didn't exist....". He twirled his hand rather lazily. "But their summoners keep going on....Apparantly one just made it out before Bevelle was destroyed the other day....what was her name....ah yes Adiona....a drink to her...". The barmen refilled their glasses.Kaze raised his and drank it down.
Tzigone smirked and nodded a little as the man replied about his name... He had never heard of a Kaze before; which was either a good thing or a bad thing... Time would be the judge in that. As the guy started talking about Sin and Spira, Tzigone couldn't help but agree a little bit. It was true in a way that Spira could be better off with Sin there, gave them Yevon creeps something to keep busy. Tzigone's eyes turned away and looked at the bar table. He started thinking a little bit as the guy paused in his speech about Spira.
Then the guy spoke of the summoners and how they kept going on. Yeah that was admirable of them to do so. Then the guy tried to bring up the name of a summoner who had made it out of Bevelle before it was destroyed. Tzigone raised an eyebrow to that, finding it hard to believe that the city had been destroyed. Though the real shocker came when Kaze said the name of the summoner. Tzigone had expected to hear Yuna, but instead he said Adiona. Tzigone's eyes opened wide at the sound of her name, so many memories flooding through his brain at that time. The drink was poured in front of him, but he didn't pick it up... A toast to her? He had sworn to himself to leave all past hatrid behind him on his last visit to the last continent, but still... Hearing her name made him remember Zero as well... Those two were a true pain in his side, so many times. However, did this mean that they were still alive on this world? If she was a summoner, did that mean so was Zero? Could it be possible that the two maybe had some sense about them and not as evil as he last knew them? He couldn't help but wonder if they had their memories of the past world or was it just him that had been sucked into this world.
"I must leave. There is much I have to do... Much I still have to see."
Tzigone got up from his stool. His eyes looked towards Kaze and he nodded. Turning around, Tzigone would tilt his hat and head towards the bar door. Just that mention of Adiona and what she was doing brought so many questions to his mind... What about the others he knew... What of Celt? Belzera? Sly? Yuna? Kojira? Achilles? Was it possible they were still around? Then the thought occurred to him, what of Animus? Once outside of the bar he reached into his coat pocket and within the red ribbon he carried, it was the last thing he had of his former golden dragon... To be honest, Animus was the only real friend that he missed. He gripped the ribbon tightly before he placed it away. He was in Lindblum, he needed to decide on where exactly he was going. The journey for answers... It just never ended for him.
The information tha tyou had heard from the mysterious stranger Kaze seemed to have pointed you in the direction of Spira It seemed that Adiona and Zero did exist in this world but the roles were reversed between them. Adiona the summoner now and Zero the guardian. What changes would this have in store for Gaia? Who knew. You'd have to investigate whatever occured. And if things began to take a downturn...
Inside the bar, nothing remained but an empty stool and a paid bill. Walking down the shadows of the street the black wind smelled change on the air....and change would be coming oh so very soon.
