[atrb=style, font-family: Tahoma; word-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; border: 1px dashed #731cff; color: #00000; padding: 10px]At first Lady Adiona didn't realise what Nephia was planning to do to her, even when she moved in front of her and even up to the point she had flung her over onto her shoulder. Adiona felt Nephia grip her legs tightly as she began to rush up to the Cloister of Trials. The young summoner twisted her head around to try and see if she could spot Lucius but to no avail. This must have been quite the sight especially to those invading her home. They meant business no matter which way you looked at it and Adiona wanted to be a part of it.
"What the hell are you doing! Put me down now I have to save Bevelle!"
In a fit of rage Lady Adiona began to beat down upon Nephia's upper body trying to almost beat her into submission, the summoner tried to dig her nails into Nephia's skin to even just draw blood. It was of course no use and by the time Nephia put Adiona down they were inside the Cloister of Trials. As she was being placed back onto the ground Adiona raised her hand and caught Nephia square on her right cheek in a scatching attack to which her nails did dig in slightly.
The summoner was enraged still even after Nephia had explained her reasons. Adiona's long black hair rested over her shoulders as she glared to Nephia. Her eyes had begun to shade over to black, this was the first of many changes that Adiona would come to recognise as the start of her path down another road. Adiona's hand twitched slightly as did her left eye. She didn't take her gaze off Nephia until she turned around in complete silence to begin the trials.

Standing in the doorway Nephia would stand there stoic as the day was long. Nephia was biting back tears as she would keep her head looking away from Adiona as she would berate Nephia for doing what she did. Knowing full well that the only way the battle could be turned if only for a minute was for Adiona to gains the Aeons help. So Nephia would do whatever she could to ensure that Adiona would head into the Chamber of the Fayth. Even if it meant holding the door until her death.
Moving her head she would notice Adiona's piercing gaze and blackened eyes. Closing her own eyes Nephia would not speak instead she would grab her helmet and spear. Placing them down in front of herself she would speak up.
"Adiona as I said hate me, loathe me, come strike me down for all I care. What remains true is that your people need their symbol of faith. Who better to show this symbol of faith than a born and raised member of their community gaining the last and most powerful of your Aeons? I do not claim to understand, nor will I ever be so foolish as to assume that..."
She would raise her head and look Adiona directly in the face after she finished speaking. The blood from the cuts on her face from Adiona's nails where running down her face, but Nephia would pay them no mind. Reaching down as Adiona turned she would grab her spear up and would follow Adiona out to the first platform of the Bevelle Cloister of Trials. Looking around she would be in awe such a structure existed within such a populated place.
Though she would push it from her mind and turn looking back at her helmet and the door. She would speak up and look over at Adiona.
"He will be fine. Thouhg I feel this is where we must part for this trial my lady. I will stand here guarding the platforms with my very life. I will do my duty to you as a ... What is it you called it... Oh yes. I will do my duty as your guardian to keep you safe from harm. Seeing as how this is the only entrance I will hold it as Lucius holds the exterior. I do not know why but I have the feeling that there will be something coming our way rather quickly..."

As the first platform began to move quickly along its designated path Adiona's mind began to wander to Bahamut. Coming face to face with one of the greatest aeons on Spira, such a powerful entity would be hers soon as long as she prayed hard and kept her faith strong. Though in her heart now was only rage and even despair, she was pulled away by someone who doesn't even know her. Someone who had no correct understanding of Spira and Yevon. Adiona's hand twitched again as she stood still until the platform had stopped. In a brief glance at the glass encasing around her she noticed her eyes were starting regain their normal colour. Knowing her eyes had changed to black did not even phase her, deep down there was always something dark waiting to be released. Through her travels as had gone from beeing bratty to a sweet angel almost and now...
"How dare she presume to know anything at all while her in Spira, this is my home land and responsibility."
Lady Adiona stomped her foot as she walked over to the first orb. Her pale hand pulled it gently from its crevice, Adiona looked at it longingly for a moment before she turned and placed it in the pedestal behind her. Once the orb was lodged in place she pushed it onto the platform she had just been on, the pedestal vanished into the platform which gave a new way for it to move. Lady Adiona walked upon it once again and was now being moved ahead and to the right. For someone reason she felt as though she knew what she was doing, perhaps Bahamut was speaking to her subconscious to help her find her way to him. Nephia would feel down and depressed as she would stand there unable to think, unable to process anything other than the oath she had given Adiona. Closing her eyes she would attempt to stem the tears she felt welling up from deep within to no avail though. Slowly the would run down her cheeks and onto the ground where she stood within the Cloister. Reopenign her eyes she would feel the tears sting her eys but would pay them no mind.
She would hear the din of battle coming from outside the door and would have to hope for the best with Lucius. Moving her spear around she would be standing at the ready for any intruder as the stomp from Adiona would echo inside of the expansive Cloister. Keeping her back to Adiona's progress Nephia knew that it would only of come from a single source and she knew the source of Adionas anger and she would accept full responsiblity for it. She would only speak up for herself to hear and it was an attempt to calm her mind and emotions.
"Stay strong and true to what you are Nephia... You are a protector... A guardian to that woman despite her protests you did what you thought was right. Now stay true to who you are. You are a Cetran, one of a dieing breed on this planet. Stand up and stand strong to yourself. Cause the faster she gets in and out of the Cloisters main chamber the faster you can return to help Lucius and the people of Bevelle..."

[atrb=style, font-family: Tahoma; word-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; border: 1px dashed #731cff; color: #00000; padding: 10px]It was all a repetitive series of movements. There was nothing different about this Clositer of Trial except for place setting, it was in a way much more mechanical which suprised Lady Adiona. Yevon didn't allow any sort of mechanical contraptions on Spira so why did the haven of Yevon have an almost mechanical and magical Cloister of Trials? It did puzzle her but she knew she couldn't let a question such as that divert her attention from the task at hand. Right now she needed to find her way through the trial and into the chamber where Bahamut lay. One of the most powerful aeons was just beyond her fingertips. He would meld with her body, her heart and her soul to aid her in the war against Sin.
Lady Adiona moved gracefully around the transparent passageways moving orbs into pedestals and the walls that lay before her. She was in a trance like state knowing exactly where to move what and which way she needed to move forward. It was the first time for a while she had been on her own and it was here her deepest and darkest thoughts would creep forward to the front of her mind. She knew deep down her smiles and polite nature was not her true personality but for the sake of Spira she needed to be a beacon of light and hope. So far no other summoner had come close to touching upon her progress. Once Bahamut had been obtained it would be a race to Zanarkand to pray and receive the Final Aeon, with this she would defeat Sin and bring about peace.
The final platform stopped with a shudder and she got off. Before her lay a door which opened as she slowly approached it, inside was the Chamber of the Fayth.
"You are my one aeon before I venture to Zanarkand, do not let my pilgrimage be in vain."
Her words were quiet. They were to spur her on. It was now or never. Lady Adiona took a deep breath and began to walk into the chamber.

She would continue to stand in a readied stance. Sure it was boring to her but she would spend this moment reflecting on the path that had been laid before her. She would be joining the possible savior of an entire continent of people. For that she would be remembered and honored and to Nephia that could be enough. The building would shake from the direction of the entrance and a look of concern would cross Nephia's face as she wanted to head out there and assist Lucius, but she promised to make sure that Adiona made it through and back to the entrance in one piece.
She would spend the remaining time until the return of the summoner she was protecting to commune with the planet. She did not expect to hear anything as she had not since her travels with Adiona and Lucius had begun but she felt an urge and almost supernatural need to talk with the planet all of a sudden.
"Mana.. Weaken... Gesthal... Stopped.."
The faint words would echo within her head and Nephia would be glad to of heard something, anything from Mother Gaia no matter how faint it was. She would walk back to her helm and kick it up catching it and placing it on her head. Turning to the door now she would await Adionas return before they would dive into the fray and eradicate some scum.

[atrb=style, font-family: Tahoma; word-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; border: 1px dashed #731cff; color: #00000; padding: 10px]The way into the chamber opened for her to enter and with each step the summoner began to feel overwhelmed. Lady Adiona was now more than halfway through her pilgrimage and all that lay before her now was her impending death. It had crossed her mind several times to perhaps just give up. No. She couldn't let the people of Spira down. Lady Adiona shuddered slightly as the entrance to the chamber closed up behind her, she turned to face the fayth and began to pray. Each aeon required and demanded equal respect but this was the great Bahamut she was trying to enlist into her care. The fayth of Bahamut appeared in the form of a small boy, he hovered just above his resting place simply looking at the young summoner. Lady Adiona kept her eyes on him when she could but after several minutes of praying she dropped to her knees and continued. Her legs felt like jelly and the strain to trying to please the great fayth was begining to take its toll.
Tiny beads of sweat clung to her forehead and chest as she continued on, speaking to the fayth through pray. With a flash of light the fayth flew forwards and embedded itself into Adiona's soul. She fell forwards and landed on her arms, her breathing was laboured. She was exhausted. Now was not the time for rest though as something was trying to break their way through into the temple's most inner sanctum. Lady Adiona could not allow this to happen. Even though she was angry at her guardian Nephia she needed to look past her anger and lock it away deep inside.
Lady Adiona slowly got to her feet and began to make her way through the cloister once more to try and get back to the main hall of the temple. Adiona grabbed the walls to keep her balance as there was no one here now to hold her up. Quite un-lady like Lady Adiona approached Nephia. Her anger has subsided a little and for now she needed her guardian's attention focused on the task at hand.
"We can't let them get any further....we need to protect Bevelle."

Nephia knelt there awaiting the returning of her summoner. Each passing minute became as hours, and her own senses became focused upon the singular actions outside the doors. Several terrible and terrifying crashes could be heard in her farthest reaches of her mind. Each blow struck outside of it all made her shiver to its intensity and ferocity.
She had not moved from the spot until she felt a presence behind her and slowly she stood her helm in her hand. Raising the helmet onto her head she kept her eyes affixed forward and heard Adiona speak up at her. Giving a nod to Adiona she spoke up.
"Aye. Adiona it is time to go and repay these demons for what they are doing to YOUR homeland. I will not speak anymore unless you direct me to do so Adiona as my penance to being disrespectful to you..."
Her bangs where hanging down into her face covering up the look in her eyes of a combination of determination and of sadness at her own actions. Walking a few steps in front of Adiona she arrived at the door first and placed her hand upon it. Pushing the door open she saw the aftermath of the battle Lucius was fighting outside.

[atrb=style, font-family: Tahoma; word-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; border: 1px dashed #731cff; color: #00000; padding: 10px]Theme: The summoner placed both of her hands against the cold doors that opened out into the temple, she began to push but stopped as Nephia began to speak. Her words angered her even more so than her actions previously. The range of emotions Lady Adiona was going through was starting to take its toll. She was unsure as to why she felt such rage and anger one moment and then serenity the next. As the summoner sighed she could see her icy breath hit the door, she didn't even feel strong enough to actually face Nephia and speak directly.
"It is not my wish or responsibility for you to be silent. You have your own voice, use it when you feel like it. As for what happened back there.....what has been done is done. There is nothing anyone can do to change the past, I will embrace what future I have left before I die in the presence of Sin."
Lady Adiona pushed the doors open with such force they hit off the sides of the walls, she stepped forward and stood looking down at Lucius battle hard. The rage within her began to bubble to the surface once again, she gripped her summoning stave hard causing her knuckles to go white. With her free hand she raised it and pointed at the Gesthal.
"Stay away from him. You want me? You want Yevon? Come and get her."

Nephia stood as Adiona made her way toward the door. Pulling out her weapon she readied herself for the inevitable battle. Girding herself both physically and mentally she heard Adiona's words. Nodding to Adiona she swung her polearm around herself and moved as the doors where swung open violently. Allowing Adiona to speak her peace before walking out of the doors in front and off to Adiona's side.
"Let us give them hell my lady..."
Her words slipped out as she looked out over the battlefield that Lucius had constructed with the corpses of the enemy combatants. A smirk crossed her face and she was now ready to fight.
"Well we have a spry one do we not... Alright boys actually get in their as this is going to get good..."
The armro would shudder and another even larger ball of energy would begin charging in front of the machine. This ball of energy engulfs the entire front of the machine obscuring it from attack. As the beast charged its next attack all of the soldiers would start in at you as if it was going to be the same attack for a third time.
Though this time right as they neared the point of no return they would stop and then strike toward Lucius. Their weapons glinted in the sun as if enchanted and enhanced by some unseen force.
All of the soldier do not notice the doors being suddenly and violently swung open. Only the armors pilot notices this. The large mech swings its line of fire toward the doors as it charges another attack. "There she is. Go get them..."

Adiona glanced back to Nephia and nodded to her, what she nodded for she wasn't entirely sure but either way she hoped Nephia would back her up. Right now she couldn't dwell on it for too long as in front of her stood enemies of Yevon attacking someone she....cared for.
"Get out of my home and never come back. I will defeat Sin eithe way but if you do not leave right now I will come for you. I will come for you and you won't know what hit you."
Adiona's eyes clouded over black as she looked to one of the soliders. She thrust her right arm forwards and unleashed a firey ball of darkness which consumed the solider. His screams were ear splitting but to Adiona right now that was music to her ears. The summoner glanced over to Lucius and stood by his side.
"I would like to go to Zanarkand now."

He smiles and pulls himself upright before swinging the tip of lifegiver down towards the ground, nodding slightly he looks around to the group of soldiers that surrounded them both.
"Your wish is my command lady Adiona, we just need to clear the way of these vermin first"
With that he smiles and takes a deep breath in before he dashes forwards towards one of the soldiers, both hands gripping the shaft of the lifegiver as Lucius charges forawrd. The tip glowing faintly as the Blizzard materia activates the mana in the air being drawn into the orb quickly creating a medium sized orb of ice at the tip of his Ji. Lucius smirks as he stops right infront of his target, before swinging the lifegiver and the blizzaga orb right into the side of the soldiers skull knocking him aside before Lucius spins around dragged by the momentum of the swing he then follows through raising the Ji up before he jabs the tip into the side of the soldier before he leaps backwards towards lady Adiona.

Nephia saw Lucius jump into the fray with nary a thought as Adiona blasted one of the soldiers with a torrent of powerful magic. She heard the words come from Adiona about wanting to to go to Zanarkand now. Smirking to herself she raised her own weapon as Lucius swept in with his attack. :: Such fury against these men... Cannot allow them to both outshine me... ::
Looking over at a nearby soldier. {E} Nephia slammed her spear into the ground and a well of gravity surrounded the man and drew him toward her. Taking the movement she struck into him and then with a quick raising of her hand and chant of a fire spell hit him again. The attack hit and then consumed the mans body in an inferno of flame.
[/u] Adiona magic impacts the first of the soldiers as he made a move to aim at Lucius. The first flare made the man fall to a knee; the second would make him vanish into the nothingness that was eternity. The second soldier would falter as Lucius' Ji stopped him cold, both figureatively and literally. The third soldier would have a frightened expression on his face as Nephia lifted him off the ground and then sliced into him before lighting him ablaze leaving them with one soldier and the armored mech before them.
"G..Get them you coward..."
The mech pilot looked a little distressed as suddenly his large squad of soldiers was no more. The last of the soldiers charged at Nephia striking at her with an attack grazing his weapon over her armor and exposed skin.

She held her summoning stave tightly in her hands as she took a few step forwards towards the armour. The young summoner began to dance as the floor underneath her began to glow in the symbol of Yevon. With one quick flick of her wrist Lady Adiona bent to her knees swiping her stave to the side. Large ice crystals slammed into the ground behind her as the summon Shiva floated down behind them. Lady Adiona quickly moved out of the way as Shiva shattered the crystals, the summoner looked to her Shiva and nodded. A summoner and her summons especially aeons had a strong bond that was rarely broken. Shiva took a step back and shot out her ice magic at the armour causing some hefty damage. Watching Adiona move and summon Shiva made Nephia turn and stare for a moment. She had never seen one of the summons. It felt to her being the very essence of the planet as she looked at it. She then got to see the power of the summon as it turned the large armor into a large popsicle with a single casted spell.
She readied her mind and body as she raised her hand and looked over at the soldier. "Burn away the flesh of the wicked, and torment them with howling bolts."
From her outstreatched hands burst forth two spells which intertwined and hit the soldier.
ATK 1: Fire~ 300DMG ATK 2: Bolt~ 300DMG Total DMG~ 600 to last remaining soldier.
Lucius turns to face the last standing Soldier and with a swift motion he slices the soldier with the tip of the spear. The sharp tip cutting through the unfortunate mans neck, finishing him off by removing his head, letting the body drop to the floor before he spears the head as it falls.
"I do not think the word coward means what you think it means mate."
Lucius says as he rests the headtipped Ji on his shoulder as he turns to face the commander, using his free hand to pull out a cigarette and slipping it inbetween his lips as he continues to speak to the commander.
"Now I could explain what the word actually means"
He pulls out his lighter and lights the cigarette before dropping the lighter back into his pocket as he takes a deep drag of the cigarette.
"but, why waste the words"
He mutters before he swings the ji forward cuasing the head to be thrown clear of the tip and towards the commander, aiming to send the head straight at the commander.
Action 1: Attack: 310 Attack damage to last soldier Action 2: No Action.
The commander in the armor was nearly jarred from the seat as the magic hit the large armor. "Y..You wont get away with this... Our mightiest warriors are here... They will mop the floor with you... Minus Leo, Chere, and Kefka... But our new lieutenant generals will mop the floor with you..."
The cockpit's radio would chime up loud enough for all gathered to hear it. "We have them... Mika, Kelk, and Kinoc. Seymour has evaded our capture and was last seen running toward Djose."
A loud cackle was heard from the cockpit of the Magitek Armor as the pilot seemed to laugh insanely. "And now your civilization falls apart. With the death of your leadership..."
[STYLE=width: 281px; background-color: #876c9c; text-align: justify; float: right; filter: alpha(opacity=45); -moz-opacity: .45; opacity:.45; padding: 10px; overflow: auto; height: 300px;] The young summoner's ears pricked up as she heard the names of the Maesters mentioned, her hate filled black eyes looked directly over to the armour. Lady Adiona simply stood and listened to the brief conversation before she took a step forward to answer the wretch sat in the armour. He knew full well his time was up as did Adiona, she wasn't going to toy with him as now was not the time for such pleasures. She knew it was wrong to find so much pleasure in killing her enemies but deep down she enjoyed it far too much.
"There is always someone to take their place. Shiva...Diamond Dust."
At her mistress' command Shiva began her final special attacked. The ice surrounded the armour freezing it in place before it shattered into tiny pieces. As soon as the attack was done Shiva vanished, her job was done. Lady Adiona's eyes flickered between blue and black as she looked back to Lucius with a straight face.

Hearing names echo into her mind she looked at the crazed man in the cockpit of the armor. It seemed that the end of his mortal life was driving the man insane as he cackled as a madman. Turning to Adiona she watched as she flipped a switch internally once again and saw as she ordered Shiva to use its Diamond Dust upon the armor. The air around Nephia chilled as she watched the Aeon use its attack with devastating effect upon the armor. Watching the man and the armor freeze up and then fall into small pieces made Nephia wince a little at the very thought of being hit by the attack.
Adiona's directed words made her snap out of the stupor she was in. Knowing full well the words where not for her to respond to she took a step or two forward and placed her spear back into its holster on her back. Rifling through a soldier that had been slain earlier's pack she found something. Pulling a sheet of parchment from the pack she read it.
"Lady Adiona that may be neigh impossible... Says here that these guys have the entire Calm Lands and the Ruins under their thumb... Here read it yourself."
Turning around she handed the piece of parchment over to her summoner.
Lucius turns away from the wrecked machine and walks towards Nephia and lady Adiona, swinging his lifegiver up to rest onto his shoulder and snatching the paper from the pessimistic Nephia.
"As my lady summoner commands"
Lucius holds the paper in the arm he had resting around the bottom of the ji while he pulls out his lighter, setting the piece of paper on fire before he speaks up. The fiery determination in his voice evident.
"I do not care, if Sin itself stands in our way, it is our job to protect Adiona on her pilgrimage and thats just what I will do, no matter what arrogant pricks stand in my way. Now grow a spine or get lost."
With that he tosses the burning paper aside before he holds out his arm, with a grand grin, out towards lady Adiona.
[STYLE=width: 281px; background-color: #876c9c; text-align: justify; float: right; filter: alpha(opacity=45); -moz-opacity: .45; opacity:.45; padding: 10px; overflow: auto; height: 300px;] Lady Adiona's eyes glanced to Nephia but only for a fleeting moment. The news that the areas she needed to travel in were 'taken' by some outsider was infuriating. This was her home not theirs! How dare they step foot into Spira just to start a war. Whatever was going on in the other continents was nothing to do with Spira. Adiona closed her eyes for a few moments and once she had reopened them they had turned back to their natural icy blue colour.
"The pilgrimage is the single most important mission on Spira. I will die and even knowing this I will continue on. No one will stand in my way and before I die....I will make those responsible for this destruction wish they were never born."
Harsh words but she knew she meant them. The pilgrimage to stop Sin for ten years was not just for her benefit but for everyone on Spira. Her death would give them the Calm which they were so desperate for. Adiona ran her hand through her long black hair before she looked back her two guardians. One who knew the ins and outs for Spira and one who was simply a tourist but a decent protector. Adiona knew she had been harsh with Nephia since she had carried her off into the Cloister but she would not admit it was the right choice.
"We continue onto Zanarkand and whatever is in our way we deal with. The maesters are not my concern.....killing Sin is."
{OOC:Shall we close the thread here and cash in an agreed exp and gil amount? We can start a new thread travelling to Zanarkand and ending it with the final aeon so it will be a bigish thread.}

As the paper was torched she just shut her eyes. Again she had tried to be useful and instead felt herself being useless by their actions toward her. Lowering her head she would hear Adiona speak and all she did was nod in agreement. She felt defeated, unwanted, and unwelcome. Yet she would not allow this to keep her from finishing the mission she had told Adiona she would do.
"I will only do what I told you I would from now on. I will guard you and no longer speak up..."
Taking a few steps in front of the pair she exited the Temple first her weapon drawn. Upon exiting she was attacked by two soldiers no longer wearing their armor. With a bit of anger and frustration at her treatment she broke both men with large swings of her spear. The first was splattered with a cut across his lower stomach that had split him in half. The second had his head caved in with the back end of her spear.
Her steps where the only noise heard from her as she walked silently cutting down any soldier foolish to get in her way.
Lucius smiles as the two ladies started to move out, he turns to look at the ruins of the machine before letting out a slightly dissappointed sigh, he had really wanted to hijack that machine. Turning his head away from the machine he pulls out a cigarette and lights it before he takes a deep drag from it, blowing out a thick ring of smoke before he starts to follow on after the two ladies, one a summoner the other a guardian.
"I feel sorry for this idiots attack spira... They have chosen to attack the one area full of wandering warriors, summoners and Sin. I would hate to be the guy who suggested this action when shit hits the fan"
He says to himself before he runs after the two ladies.
