[Open to everyone involved in the City of Opportunity thread and Shinra members]
Since the incident in Luca involving Shinra and the silver hair swordsman, Juve, Kahri, and a stranger he didn’t know, left the Spira continent by force and were heading to Midgar. Juve was aware that Shinra's headquarters were located in Midgar, but that‘s all he knew of Midgar. It had been a long journey, first by airship, then by train once they had arrived on Midgar, the entire time, the trio were in shackles. Juve had never been to Midgar before and thought it was a bit funny that his first trip to Midgar was in shackles. The train that they had been on for a little more than a day finally came to a halt in a train station in Midgar City.
Juve had been asleep, on the floor of their train car turned holding cell, for most of the journey to Midgar City. As the train came to a halt, the jerking motion of the train stopping woke him. Sitting up from the floor, he turned his head slightly to look out their car's window. "Looks like we're here." he said to himself as he looked to their captors. The city of Midgar was more industrious than he could imagine. There’d be no times for tours it seemed, given that he and his two companions were prisoners now.
The guards assigned to watch the trio over the course of their trip ordered them get to their feet. Complying reluctantly, Juve stood up, hands bound together in shackles. The guards had taken his gun, his hat, and his sun glasses, he felt naked without his belongings. Juve glared at the guards as he exited the train car. He stopped when he got to the train door, looking at the guard next to him. “When I get out of these” he began as he raised his chained hands, “I’m gonna kill you.” he said with a smile, stepping off the train.
Juve noticed that the train platform was completely empty, save for one man. A man in a white suit was waiting for the trio. He looked straight ahead at the man, remaining silent. Juve spoke over his shoulder to Kahri. “Know who he is? Because I don’t.” he said, motioning to the man in the white suit before them. They were prisoners of ShinRa now apparently. Juve didn’t plan on being a prisoner for much longer though.
Rufus stood at the doors to the train, watching as the troops unloaded the personal belongings of the incoming batch of rebel prisoners. The troops seemed determined to unload the train as quickly as possible, and were simply tossing bundles out the door. Normally such behavior would result in severe disciplinary measures, but Rufus was in a bad mood and not even torturing his underlings could make him feel any better. He sighed and watched as the guards finished unloading the cargo hold. He turned to half-heartedly examine the small pile of goods. There was nothing special; an old military style hat, the broken remains of a hand gun, ammunition, a pair of sharply clawed gauntlets, a regular short sword, a stock of items including an abnormal number of Ethers, and perhaps least interesting of all, a cage containing some kind of rodent. He gave a dry humorless laugh. "Hats, rats, and gloves...these rebels just get more intimidating by the day." He said sarcastically.
He turned away from the small pile of useless garbage and nodded to the guards to open the doors to the prisoners' compartment. He stood, as grumpy as ever, as the guards led the rebels out onto the train platform. Rufus' thoughts wonder as the prisoners stumble to their feet. These were the ones who caused the disturbance in Luca. He sighs. Luca. He hated having to travel from country to country talking politics with inferior nations. That being said, he would much rather be sitting back in Spira listening to Meister Mika go rambling on about the evils of machina than have to stand here and have to endure this. Truly the babysitting of prisoners was beneath him. Rufus' resentment of his father grew everyday It was President Shinra who was the cause of Rufus' bad mood and it was he who kept sending Rufus away on these useless errands.
One of the prisoners spoke, pulling Rufus away from his mutinous thoughts about his father. The prisoner was speaking in a tongue that Rufus did not understand, but it didn't matter, Rufus had no interest in the prisoners, he was here to give the usual speech and leave, that was it. He nodded to the guards again and watched as they wrapped a thick metal band around each of the prisoners arms. Rufus then looked directly at the prisoners for the first time. He sighed yet again and addresses them. He speaks in a monotone and uses short, to the point sentences. His lack of interest in the preceding was quite obvious to all present.
"This is Midgar. I am Rufus Shinra. I am Vice President of the ShinRa company. You have spoken out against the ShinRa company. You are now our prisoners. Those devices-"He points to the metal bands on their arms."-hinder the casting of magic. You will be taken into our holding cells. There you will wait while the President decides what to do with you...though if it were up to me you'd all be dead now."He adds under his breath. Then, speaking at full volume again, he adds "Any questions?"
Light danced in front of orange tinted eyes whilst the steely grey behind them were groggy and clouded. There was a dull aching coming from somewhere, but the mind was too shrouded to tell where it was coming from. There was a sudden jerk and the pain worsened as a sore head slammed against the inner wall of the train. Now the woman was wide away, and cringed with pain. Instinctively she reached up to touched the sore spot, only to have her hands feel lighter and freer. Head pain forgotten, she looked down at her naked hands and nearly screamed with outrage. Instead a short series of words entered her head.
What...the...FUCK!!
It wasn't enough that she was defeated and humiliated by that silver swordsman, but whoever bound her added insult to injury by stealing her claws...AND IKU! She no longer felt the comforting pelt wrapped around her neck or saw the creature within her line of sight for that matter. She woman never felt so naked...so vulnerable...so exposed.
Another hard jerk of her surrounded withdrew her attention from herself to her immediate surroundings. A cargo cart of a train enclosing herself, Juve, and that strange demonic child she encountered in the alleyway. They too were bound and disarmed, perhaps more so than her. The Al Bhed was more angry than worried about their circumstance. This is what she got for returning to the aid of some strangers she was probably never going to meet again. And now...now she was stuck with them until they reached their destination and fates were determined. Fuck the fates and their twisted games. She imagined there was laughing whole-heartedly right about now.
After a few more minutes of angry musing, the train finally lurched to a stop. About damn time. The doors were slid open by the guards and Kahri beheld something she thought wasn't possible. A Machina city...machine as far as her eyes see from the confines of the train. She was momentarily stricken with awe, until the guards barked incoherently for her to exit the car. She bared her teeth in a rabid snarl, eyes promising death upon her captors. ' Just you wait...'
Enraged eyes detoured from the brutes and centered on the platform, occupied by one man dressed in white. Juve inquired the name of this man, to which of course the woman replied, 'How the fuck should I know? I don't even know where the hell we are!' Perhaps conversation with an angry woman was not the best thing for this moment. Each word only served to enrage the woman more, until all thoughts were a swirling mass of rage and ill intent.
She ignored the man, turning around to the train as they began to unload their belongings. She caught a glimpse of her own possession, but was focused on the animal confined to the small cage. "Iku!" The ferret looked positively frightened, curled tightly into a ball in a corner of the cage. When the eyes of the man dressed in white looked upon him, the creature hissed with disdain, bringing a smirk to the woman's face. At least some defiance was present. The man went on to speak, but all the words went through one ear and out the other, as she could not make out two words of what he was saying. When his speech was ended, the woman raised a hand to gain his attention. She could almost guarantee he would have no idea what she was saying, but at least she would be rid of some pent up frustration. 'How about this...you tell your flunkies to let my companion out of his cage, and I promise I wont gut you...but rather slice of your head and make your death quick and painless. No..? Then how about taking these damn cuffs off me!!?'
Outrage and ill will sounded the same in every language. He found himself once again cursing his father for giving him this meaningless task. If he were President no prisoner would dare to speak to him with such blatant disrespect. Hell, if he were President he wouldn't take prisoners, and there wouldn't be anyone to speak to him in such a way. The blond man closed his eyes, and rubbed his temples. He heaved yet another heavy sigh and opened his eyes to watch the ranting woman. He didn't need a translator to know that her words were laced with insults and empty threats. She made a number of wild gestures through out her short speech, though Rufus was only half paying attention he was still able to distinguish two distinct movements. First she pointed to the pile of belongings behind him (Rufus didn't bother to turn and see what exactly it was she was pointing at) and then she gestured to her own bound wrists.
After the woman's tirade Rufus turned to the man in the old military outfit. He seemed to know the Al-Bhed language, though he obviously wasn't Al-Bhed himself. Rufus spoke directly to the man, again speaking with the flat, uncaring voice. "We will not return your weapons. We will not release you. You will be taken from here into the ShinRa building, where you will be held. There you will be given the opportunity to present your case. Then if the President" -Distaste rang in his voice at the thought of the man.- "so chooses to have mercy on you, you MIGHT get your belongings back then." Rufus pauses for a moment and decides to deviate somewhat from the usual script. When he spoke again the boredom in his voice was gone, replaced by a cool anger. "However, if there are any more disruptions or outbursts, know that I do have the authority to kill you." As he spoke several of the guards tightened their grip on their guns, as if to validate his threat. "Now, if there are no other questions," he says, as if daring them to speak. "we will be going now." He turned and began walking down the station platform.
But before he had taken more than two steps he stopped. Two of the guards were now placing the prisoner's belongings into a large box to be carried in, though it seemed they didn't know what to do with the animal. Rufus sighed and took the snarling rodent from them. He looked at the snarling and hissing and barking ferret and then at his prisoners, immediately determining which was the beast's owner. He tossed the cage, unceremoniously to the Al-Bhed. Not bothering to see if she caught it or not, he turns back to the guards. "There, problem solved! NOW we will be going."

OOC:Hey, whatever happened to Roscoe? Why wasn't he arrested?
"Ugh... what a sorry state of affairs this is..." The young Lucavi moaned as he was pushed out of the train car by two very armed and very angry guards. Vale tried to reach up to his head with his bound hands, but any time he made an sort of gesture that would lead towards the large goose-egg he recieved from the SOLDIER the guards would bark at him to put his hands down in case he might try something. Apparently they weren't very trusting of Demons here. "Gods... I hate this demonic heritage sometimes... People always seem to think I'm going to rend them limb from limb or something like that."
Vale was forced to stand next to the crazy woman as she ranted and made various threatening gestures towards a man in a beige suit- Rufus. Vale sighed and began to wonder why exactly he had shouted to the obviously deranged woman- but he supposed it didn't really matter now since they were, most likely, going to be put into the same cell (or at least cells close enough to hear her screech like a Chocobo every time she thought something was unjust or something- which seemed ot happen a lot). He tried to get the man wearing the old military outfit's attention- but to no avail. He was too musy listening to Rufus for some reason or another. Vale didn't bother paying attention to the twenty-something ShinRa spawn. He was sure that the man was basically telling them that they were, in every way shap and form, fucked.
So- because of his neverending well of intelligence- he turned to the rabid-looking woman next to him and tried to calm her down. "Hey... you should probably stop yelling at him. He doesn't understand a word you're saying. The less you talk, the less likely they are to feed us to the dogs." He then realized that the woman probably didn't understand him either and sighed, mumbling slightly under his breath-
"Let's just hope they don't randomly screen old security videos for possible repeat offenders..."
The dull, lifeless sky of Midgar engulfed the train station endlessly as a young man looked towards it. It was just another meaningless, escort mission for him. This would be nothing even vaguely interesting, although being a Shinra lackey never was.
The young man wore the typical attire of a Shinra employee, the unflattering, dull blue costume hung off of his average build. He had muscle, but nothing spectacular. An old, rusty rifle hung upon his back by a leather strap attached to the gun. He never felt right using it, the greatest of SOLDIERS had never used such crude weaponry. Then again...he was hardly good material for such an illustrious group of elites.
His hair rustled lightly as a slight breeze caught up, a quiet sigh was voiced quietly from his lips. A couple of the grunts were unloading the prisoners belongings. The blonde haired grunt casually took a quick look over the possessions which littered the box. Some basic weaponry, a few ethers and a rat. No wonder they got caught.
A pair of pale blue eyes belonging to the lackey traced the train carts doors as they slow opened. The sound of light footsteps were the first thing to greet him.
Looking to the doors, he would see a tall man wearing an old and rather shabby looking military uniform exit the train. He had no idea who any of these prisoners were, nor did he really care. He just wanted to get back to headquarters.
A young, rather pretty woman would be the next prisoner to exit the train. Her attire suggested she was from the Spira continent, the young man already knew that that was where they had all come from however. She began to speak rather loudly in a language that he didn't really understand. He had only heard her talking for a brief few seconds but he already had a disliking of her.
The next sight however was indeed a strange one, a young man, about the soldiers age came into view. However, something did not quite seem right about him. The young lackey had read a brief report on his assignment beforehand, but he had not imagined something like this. The young man had a small, scaly pair of wings attached to his back. It was very obvious that they weren't fake. The next most obvious give away was his unnatural eyes, if he didn't know any better he would have sworn the boy had been infused with mako.
The young man closed his eyes, the vice president had began his little speech. Rufus Shinra, the vice president and son of the current president. A cruel, selfish man. The young lackey greatly disliked having to be his escort, he would much rather be on a real mission. Having to suck up to this man, meet his whims and fancy..it was such a de-grading thing to do.
The lackey looked to the other grunts as they raised there guns at Rufus' whim. Such tactics of intimidation and mockery suited the man down to a T.
As the lackeys raised there guns in unison, with a slight pause of discontent, so did the young man.
It seemed this mission would be a fairly simple one, nothing could go wrong. If so, the potential threat of the vice presidents well being would cause all kind of people to emerge from the steel prison of the god forsaken city.
The blonde haired youth lowered his rifle, looking to the train tracks he would close his eyes for a few brief moments. Not long now...

As the female Al-Bhed had some to know, when a taunt was returned with another of the same intent, it cemented the two as enemies until the other was dead. And the one to fall surely wouldn't be her. Hearing the man in white raise his voice only served to annoy the woman further. Her eyes darted continuously to her companion still trapped within his confine. Had the idiot not heard her? She wanted her friend set free!! This language barrier was going to be the death of so many innocents if someone didn't understand what she was saying. But as luck would have it, an armored soldier had understood her harping and relayed it to the man in white, which in turn opened a hole through the barrier, allowing her to understand the man's unheeded threats.
Whether he liked it or not, she WAS going to get her weapons back. For too long she had slaved to create them and there was no way in hell she was going to purchase another inferior pair. Those gloves were her life, and extension of herself. To have them taken was equivalent to rape in her eyes. And their treatment to Iku... The already livid female was practically hoarse with rage.
Hard metallic gems followed each step of the smartly dressed man, near sneering as he touched that catch that held her friend captive. Her fingers were itching to tear through something. The energy she had channeled for an attack gathered, then was quickly dispelled into the handcuffs, making any use of magic useless. She was defenseless and she knew it, but her heart was consumed with defiance and anger. She would not be silenced until her possession were rightly returned to her.
By a flick of the man's wrist, Iku's cage was sent flying in her direction. Arms outstretched to receive, she caught her captured companion, dipping her arms carefully to soften the impact. The little creature immediately put his face to the cage, squeezing his nose through to nuzzle the exposed cheek of his owner. Sharp barks and hisses were instantly reduced to soft cries as the ferret too began to complain about this injustice. Of course Kahri could not understand in the slightest, but she understood outrage and happiness when it presented itself. Her disposition was still angered, but she was calmer now. At least one part of her ensemble was returned to her, an equally essential part at that, but that didn't mean she was going to follow this man quietly. At least for now she would.

[Inside the city common]
Oddly dressed men were gathered at the city monument, each with their own burlap sack filled with the fruits of their pillages. It was only a matter of time before they were caught, but luck proved to be on their side for this mission. Among the four of them, a taller man dressed in form-fitting sleeveless shirt and a pair of baggy shorts patched over numerous times. Around his waist was a collection of pouches with assorted components, from elixirs to bomb fragments, and on top his head were a sturdy pair of blast goggles. This man was an Alchemist...and not only that, an Al-Bhed Alchemist. But what was odd was that the Al-Bhed hardly treaded foot outside the desert...so what was the purpose of these three and this man of such high caliber? A scavenging mission perhaps, but for one concerned it did not make sense to have an Alchemist on this little party...unless there was something else going on...
The men continued to converse amongst themselves, unaware of the strange, worrisome looks they received. The Alchemist glanced around once or twice, checking to make sure nothing of authoritative caliber was approaching, before he slipped his had into one of his many pockets and withdrew a pre-made explosive. Concealed within the group, he smiled to himself.
Juve stopped for a moment to watch Kahri reunite with her ferret. The same ferret he had helped her track down. That's all he was going to do in Luca before he left. Help the Al-Bhed girl and then leave, sounded simple, but it wasn't. His plans had gone from meeting a man about a weapon to helping Kahri and now arrested. "I should of left Luca immediately" he thought to himself as he allowed Kahri to pass him. It wasn't Kahri's fault he had gotten arrested, no, it was his own fault. She had the right idea of running away, but yet she chose to fight along side him and ended up here with him.
Walking closer to Kahri, Juve kept his chained hands down in front of him. "You were gone...why'd you come back?" he asked her as they walked, single file through the train station. A quiet chuckle came from him as he stepped back from her, a smile on his face. "Oh well." he said to himself. "Strength in numbers, right?" he said to her. That was one of the pleasures of knowing a different language, being able to speak to a companion in a tight situation.
He looked to his left and then to his right, eying up and counting the number of guards escorting them. There was no way he was going to face the president of ShinRa. They wouldn't receive fair judgment. Surely the president would have the trio locked up without proper cause or reason. Juve wasn't about to face that, not willingly of course. With a grunt, Juve threw his arms over one of the guards heads, pulling the chain against the guards throat.
He tugged his chain against the guards throat again, backing away from the rest of the guards and his companions. The guard had dropped his weapon in the midst of being attacked by Juve. Juve could hear the guard in his grasps gasping for air. Ignoring the guard's gasps, Juve smiled at his companions and the other guards. "You're going to let us go. Unless you want this man here dead." Juve said as he stepped back a bit, pulling the guard with him. "Kahri!" he started. " Grab the gun he dropped and make sure they comply."
Vale sighed and watched as the small furret was thrown to the odd woman next to him. She had a strange look in her eye, probably blood-lust or something similarly menacing. He looked at the cuffs on his hands and turned to the other stranger, the man in the military outfit, who was speaking in the same strange language as the girl. Shaking his head, Vale looked at the various guards many of which were not paying attention to the small, handcuffed group and the snobbish Vice-President.
Suddenly, without any warning, the man in the military uniform began throttling a guard. Surprised, Vale watched the man drop his gun and, without thinking, dove for it as the man shouted some more stuff in that odd language. Scooping up the weapon, the demon maneuvered the weapon in his cuffed hands so he could actually shoot the weapon. He turned quickly to the dangerous-looking girl and kicked the cage she was holding into the straight into the air. He fired one shot at her handcuffs, breaking the chain in half (and nearly shooting her in the process, the bullet probably grazed her leg, but he didn't have time to worry about that). The cage containing the ferret landed safely back in her outstretched (now uncuffed) arms.
Spinning on his heel, Vale aimed the gun at the Vice-President and allowed himself a small grin; things were looking up... that is, unless the VP pulled out his trademark shotgun.
It was a good question...why had she come back. It was the only inquiry that worked its way through the think attentive barrier the woman had for her ferret. And the voice belong to Juve, the only one among the captured group that understood her. She parted her gaze from her companion and looked to the mercenary. An annoyed sort of smirk curled the left corner of her lips. 'I ask myself the same thing. The only really I came was to shut that imbecile of a demon up. It was unfortunate that silver man did it before I could.'
Partial truth was better than nothing at all in her book, and there was no reason for her to spill the entire reason for her return to the battle field (only to be defeated). Her eyes gave a satirical roll from the much used cliche. In their past and prior situations, such a motto hadn't worked in the least. Kahri shook her head slowly. 'I only works if each person can hold their own weight...' A subconscious glance was cast to the demon behind her followed by a slight upturn of her lips. Really, what had he done aside from yell and scream his was onto the woman's list of annoying twits? It was his fault she was in this tight situation anyway.
And once again her thoughts were detoured as all hell broke loose. Juve proved himself more capable by taking one of the guards as hostage and releasing his gun. Perfect. A breakout was exactly what this hell-bound party needed. But always, there was someone to cause a party foul. The gun intended for her was quickly swept from her reach by the demon and aimed right at her. Really...she was going to get shot by a-
"DAMMIT!!"
Out of her limited compendium of Terran words, it was the only one that seemed to fit her current state of pain. Shackles destroyed, freed hands immediately sought her bullet-grazed leg. This child had no aim!! Her quieted rage now returned full force and was directed at the winged male. But her tantrum was subsided by the weapon slowly unveiling itself from the white coated man. Without a second thought she knew it was time to go and the kid was fucked. Too bad.
A surge of energy coursed through the woman til it reached her hands and warmed them immensely. Their timing was tight and soon all the guards would be active. They needed a diversion. 'Juve! Release the guard!' she shouted before grabbing a barred corner of Iku's cage between her teeth. Lightly illuminated hands slammed into the ground. A series of pulses emitted around them, shaking the ground from its below then it split. Spider-like fissure split the ground apart, racing as far as the built tension would allow and shooting chunks of rock and dirt every which way. The quake had grounded more guards than expected but the sturdier men, continued their approach aiming guns at the Al-Bhed and her male company.
The odds were stacked against them that they would make it out of this without some fatal injury, but she was sure as hell going to try. Taking a charging start, she lept at one of the guard, impaling both legs into his chest to plow him down. Pain once again shot through her leg, but it was a flesh wound. She had to deal with it. Her sights set on the cargo box with their equipment, she took a flying leap toward it. Metallic orbs shot straight to her gauntlets laying within the pile. Cool familiar metal touched her hands as she landed within the pile and nabbed her possessions. Iku squeeked in his cage. The woman's teeth were screaming in pain from how hard she was biting it keep it still. Quickly she snatched down the cage and curled it under her arm, while looking every way for approaching guards. She had never had such an adrenaline rush than what this break was causing. Even with the wound, there was nothing to garter more excitement than this.
Her possessions coveted, all that was left was to make a break for it.

Rufus had been leading the guards and their prisoners through the near empty streets of the city of Midgar, the two guards carrying the crate with the prisoners' belongings bringing up the rear. Though Rufus couldn't care less about the people behind him; he was currently fuming with his father for making him, Rufus Shinra, Vice President and heir to the entire company, escort prisoners. Rufus' inattention would prove to be a mistake.
He heard a ruckus behind him and turned to see that one of the prisoners, the man in the tatter war clothing, had the chain of his shackles wrapped around the neck of one of the guards. chaos ensued. The choking guard dropped his gun in his attempts to pull the chain away from his throat, and the androgenous demon child dove for it. Seeing the turn of events Rufus calmly and slowly began to unbutton the long white coat of his suit. Indeed, a grin was spread wide across his face now, his earlier boredom and anger forgotten. The demon shot the chains binding the Al-Bhed's wrists together, and then trained the gun on Rufus, though it was too late.
There where a dozen guards plus Rufus escorting the prisoners. One of them was being held captive, of course. But the remaining eleven guards stood ready for the attack, the two guards in the back dropping the crate in order to train their weapons on the prisoners.
And for that brief moment the prisoner uprising seemed to be qwelled. Rufus saw the fearful looks on the prisoners' faces and a smug look crossed his mouth. He had just finished unbuttoning his suit coat, and was going to reach in and bring forth his own weapon, but now it seemed unnecissary for him to do so. He looked at the prisoners before him. The man, still attempting to dig his bindings further into the guard's throat, the woman, holding her prescious animal in one unbound hand and a bleeding leg with the other, and the demon child, unable to hold or aim the machine gun properly in its bound hands.
But Rufus' smugness was short-lived. He turned to the guards around him with the intention of giving them a look of approval, which was a very rare treat coming from the vice president, but what he saw made the look of approval turn into one of furry. Each of the guards had their weapons drawn, it was true, but all of the weapons were trained on either the military man or the armed imp in front of him. The Al-Bhed woman remained completely uncovered. Apparently the guards didn't see the injured animal lover as a threat. "FOOLS!" He screamed as the woman made her move. She shouted something at the military man and immediately moved her rat's cage to her mouth, freeing up her hands to remove the anti-magic band from around her arm and cast a quake spell. As Rufus struggled to keep his footing, he saw the woman begin sprinting in front of him. He looked in the direction she was running and his furry intensified.
It would seem that one of the guards didn't seal up the crate properly, so when they dropped it a moment ago it fell open, the weapons inside easily accessable to the now freed Al-Bhed. The woman kicked one of the guards by the crate and reached in, pulling out the heavy clawed gauntlets from within. Rufus didn't waste any time. He pulled his shotgun from the inside of his specially-tailored coat and stood ready. Of the eleven guards (not counting the hostage) only four had managed withstand the quake spell.
It was because of Rufus' inattention that he didn't notice the guards' inattention, and it was because of the guards' inattention the the prisoners had managed to get this far. But there good fortune ended now. Rufus would make sure of that. "You were given the choice of dealing with my father or dealing with me." Rufus smiled. "You made the wrong choice."
OOC: Although Kahri has already said this I felt I had to make it clear. Please respect the order of posts. If there was none two people could just rush ahead and it is irriating for those left behind. The only time when a posting order can be skipped is if a person is taking too long to post, too long would be considered at least a two day gap without excuse. Thank you. And continue away.
Juve held the guard close to him, his chains pressing tightly against his hostages wind pipe. Anymore pressure from the chains and Juve's hostage would be a dead one. Kahri had shouted something at him, something about releasing the guard, but he ignored her for the time being. His hostage, now turned human shield was the only thing between him and a bullet riddled death. Juve smiled towards the other guards as he held their buddy captive. He whispered into the guards ear "You could be dead...but my female friend here wishes me to let you go."
He let out a grunt as he lifted his chain from around the guards next. The guard let out a gasp for air as he doubled over, trying to regain his breath. Before he turned to run with Kahri, Juve kicked the guard in the back as he stood back up. As a result of Juve's kick, the guard tumbled forward into two other guards. Next time, he's dead." he said to Kahri as he motioned to the downed guard. Juve had no problem with taking a life and if it weren't for Kahri, he would of killed that guard.
Without warning, he snatched the gun that the young boy with them had picked up. "Watch yourself with that!" he shouted as he checked the gun to make sure it was properly loaded. The chains that bounded his arms together made it hard for him to properly hold the gun, but he made due with it. Juve followed after Kahri, holding the gun to the best of his abilities. Every few moments, Juve would turn around and aim his new weapon towards the guards.
However, thanks to his female companion, most of the guards that should of been on their tail, were on the ground. "Why didn't you do that in Luca?" he shouted at her as he finally caught up with her. He turned around one last time and fired off a few shots in the general direction of the guards. Juve didn't aim for anyone in particular, so he wasn't surprised to hear the bullets ricochet off the ground.
In the midst of all the commotion, the Al-Bhed could only sneer at her male companion's question. Really, it wasn't the best time to question the past was it? Ignoring the inquiry, the hasten movements, she slipped off the cart landing rather hard on her wounded leg. A fresh dose of pain shot through the grazed muscle welling tears to brim on her eyes. When she got the chance, she was going to hurt that child if the man in white didn't meet her to it. In a crotch behind the cart she only had time to glove one hand with a gauntlet before the ringing of shots set her to attention. She peeked around the edge, spying as Juve went on a shooting spree, not really hitting anything.
It looked as good of a time as any to move. She looked down at the creature still in its cage and raised a metallic claw. With sheer precision and strength then claw was skewered into the lock of the cage, easily breaking through and freeing the trapped ferret. Quickly it pushed the cage door open and scaled up her arm, once again winding itself around her pale neck. There was no time for a loving reunion as the female would have liked, for as her eyes set on the man in white and the weapon in hand, she knew their luck was about to turn for the worst. It was time to make a run for it.
"Juve!!" Worsening voice rose of the sounds of ricochets. 'Get the kid and let's go!' From their position on the platform, a dead sprint toward the exit would be their best chance of escape she reasoned, but something in the man's eyes indicated it would not be that easy. But they had to try. Securing the other glove on her arm, she gained what strength she could muster with her wound, and bolted from her hiding place. The downed guards took note of her attempt to escape and hurried to their feet, raising and aiming their rifles for the fleeting female. Bullets whistled passed her ears. Her straight dash turned into a series jumps and bounds and zig-zagged patterns to evade the gunfire. Adrenaline coursed through her veins, her body electric with energy as every once of it was poured into this escape. Every muscle screaming with exertion.
There was only one other time in his life when Valedus truly believed his life was in danger- and that was when he was cornered by a dragon (that could swallow the slight demon in a single bite) in an abandoned mine shaft while he was looking for a bounty. The situation he was in now was about ninety-five percent as dangerous as the before-mentioned situation, but that was only because he wasn't expecting the Vice President of ShinRa to attempt to crush him underneath himself- and because none of the people here were big enough to swallow him whole.
Vale cursed his decision to shoot the woman's chains when she released her unholy screech that would make even the most fiendish of demons cower. She would, most likely, attempt to end his life if he managed to escape with them- it wasn't hard to see the anger spilling from her eyes at him. When the Military Man dropped the guard he had previously been choking, Vale ducked down and scooped up the set of keys on his belt. He immediately began to stick every key into the tiny lock on his cuffs in an attempt to remove the cursed things from his hands. After the third try, he was met with a loud *click* as his binds fell off of his wrists. However, he didn't have any time to celebrate- as he ran by the pile of belongings he grabbed his cloak and shortsword (or, at least, what he thought was his shortsword- it was actually just his scabbard). He then sprinted to catch up with his companions and attempted to unlock the Military Man's binds while running, a difficult task by any means.
Luck, however, was on his side- as the same key that opened his lock opened the Military Man's as well. Vale tossed the keys to the side and ridded himself of the spellbinding bracelet. His hands immediately befan to glow a fiery red as he chanted an incantation and turned back to the ShinRa men behind him. He didn't aim the spell at anyone in particular- instead using flare as a temporary fire-wall/smokescreen to disuade the pursuers from following.
"You two go on ahead, I'm going to try to stall these guys for a bit!" He shouted to his companions. Unfortunately, while fire stopped people from trying to follow you, it did not, under any circumstances, stop bullets. In fact, it probably just made them even more dangerous. Vale was hit in the shoulder with a screaming projectile, blood immediatelt spilling from the wound. Gritting his teeth, he shot a bolt of Thunder in the general direction of the bullet and was met with a scream. He spun on his heel and began to sprint back to his allies, one hand over the bleeding wound in his shoulder.
"Nevermind about that whole (huff) 'holding them off' thing! Our luck probably (huff) won't hold out (huff)... what say we hop (huff) onto one of those (huff) trains and get the (huff) hell out of here?!"
Tonight was supposed to be a very simple escort job. He would pick up some prisoners, explain how they have offended the company, and then walk them to the ShinRa Building, and his father would deal with them from there. The prisoners' creativity in their escape had been entertaining for a moment, but now that novelty had past, and these pests were just wasting his time even more than his father was for making him take on this petty task.
Ten of the twelve guards were on their feet and running after the prisoners. One of the guards, the hostage, lay on the train platform, passed out from lack of oxygen. The other guard that had stayed back was also on the ground, on his hands and knees, coughing from recently being kicked right in the chest. Rufus walked up to this guard now, ignoring the others who had ran after the prisoners. He stood there, looking down on the injured man for a moment, and then he kicked the man in the gut. "Who was it who forgot to close the crate properly?" He asked. The guard just moaned in answer, so Rufus kicked him again.
Before he could continue any further with the guard however, he saw the wall of fire appear at the other end of the platform. Rufus looks to see his incompetent employees just standing there, shooting blindly into the flames. Of course, he'd have to do this himself. The entire continent was controlled by the ShinRa corporation, it wasn't as if they'd be able to get away. That being said, it would be a huge inconvenience on Rufus if he had to chase them down. Any further than the end of the platform was too far as far as Rufus was concerned.
He sighed, and began to mumble something, an incantation, and he immediately felt a surge of power flow through his legs as the Haste spell takes effect. He sprinted toward the other end of the platform, reaching the flames seconds later. Without stopping for a second he lunges through the firewall, undeterred by the heat of the flames licking at his heels. Fire only spreads if you hold something over it, however, if something were to shoot right through the flames it would likely come out the other side unscathed. Rufus was aware of this when he made his leap. Rufus came out the other end of the flames, landing smoothly and dramatically. He stood facing the would-be escapees. "Perhaps you misheard me." Rufus said as he trained his shotgun on the military man, "I said that you could have chosen between dealing with my father or me, I don't recall saying anything about running being an option."
He fires.

((I had writer's block the entire time I was writing this, and I'm not really confident in it, to be honest, but I don't want to keep you guys waiting, so it will have to do.))
A helicopter flies overhead, parting the flames with the wind from the roters. The pilot looked unsure, he saw the vice president down below. " You sure about dropping this? I mean Vice President Rufus is still here". There was a minor shrug. " Professor Hojo said he wanted a live fire test....when he heard about these prisoners coming in he ordered it direct...". The pilot sighed. " I'm so going to get my ass tanned for this...". The guy in the back laughed. " Don't worry, if they come looking for you, just blame Hojo...". With that the man in the back, plus serveral others started pushing a metal container over the edge of the helicopter.
" Bombs away!"
The container fell amongst the flames, and the helicopter backed off. In seconds there was a noise coming from within the container, then bumps started to appear in the metal chasse. Suddenly then a claw shot out from within and tore the metal container to bits. From within emerged a large fleshy monstrosity. It looked at everyone hungrily. Even the president's son. However first it distanced itself from the fire....it seemed to dislike it.
Monster Battle: Experiement 098H

Cloud would look on in shock as the attempted escape plan was set into motion. The blonde haired grunt could only observe as his fellow employees were attacked, held hostage and screamed abuse at. Cloud took a deep breath and attempted to calm himself.
It only took him a few seconds to ready his rifle and take aim at the man in the military style outfit, it appeared that he had taken a hostage. A smart move. The only thing stopping Cloud from squeezing the trigger was that hostage, Cloud would have liked to think he was cold hearted enough to ignore the fellow grunts cries for help. He wasn't.
Within seconds of Cloud raising his gun to the man, the other prisoners now had the weapons from the cage. Cloud sighed lightly, why didn't things ever go to plan when he was working?
Cloud instantly changed the direction of his gun as he noticed the prisoner attempting to threaten the vice president. He, and his fellow grunts had all proceeded to take aim. Cloud didn't respect the man, but he was damn sure he wouldn't let him die.
Cloud watched as the shotgun was taken from his coat, he wondered why the vice president felt the need to carry such a beefy weapon with him. He then remembered just how many people hated Shinra.
It appeared the appeared the demon child was attempting to cast magic, Cloud knew of the lore surrounding Lucavi. He didn't feel good about it, but he had to do what was necessary.
"Sorry kid!"
Cloud quickly squeezed the trigger of his gun, the but of his rifle pressed against his shoulder firmly as a quick round of bullets aimed at the kids shoulder. It appeared only a single bullet hit, a hot stream of crimson blood spraying from the boys shoulder.
'Shit'
Cloud thought to himself, he had just shot a child. A horrible knotted feeling welled up within him, he hated this job so much. Shaking off the guilt, Cloud focused the cross hare of his gun towards the military style man. He appeared to be the most dangerous, Cloud quickly took one hand from his gun, he proceeded to put his helmet on, it had been hanging loosely from his belt up until now. It wasn't just for protection, it was also out of shame.
There was freedom ahead. Just beyond that narrow gateway, she would be home free and nothing to stop her. Even the aching in her leg seemed to die away as all her energy was exerted in that determined sprint. So close, so very close. But then a deafening sound muted her ears. A whirling of machina blades slicing through the air. Kahri diverted her gaze from her goal just a moment to see a machine hovering in the air, metallic limbs whirling as it kept the large body in the air.
Intuition alerted that something was going to happen. Her escape would have to be postpone, but not before she took cover within the jamb of the narrow gateway. Metal crashed onto the concrete floor. The irritating sound sent the creature around her slender neck to shiver and growl with distress. Orange tinted gaze now fell upon the dropped crate. Heavy breathing came from within, an eerie sound that set the hairs on the back of her neck on end and ushered her foot to shimmy a step back. And intuition proved right.
Within seconds the cage was destroyed and a fleshy creature emerged. What could have been a mouth gaped stupidly as saliva poured from its maw like water and pooled at its feet. A mindless hungry beast, sent to devour them, the imagined. The female sneered with disgust, taking another step away from the hideous monstrosity. If some deity out there was trying to fuck up her day, this 'present' was just overkill. None the less, it had to be dealt with. Otherwise she would once again be called a coward and she would never heard the end of that demon's harping.
She watched as the creature staggered away from the flames, swiping at the red-orange tongues aimlessly while boring its horrible breath in a mock roar of sorts. It slapped its hand on the ground, generating small tremors as it looked dumbly around at its would-be meals. Disgusting. Kahri conjured the energies from her center to collect to her hands once more, then with a raise of her gauntlet claws and a well place aim toward the beast, she snapped her fingers, shooting sparks that collided with the air, then burst into flames attaching to the flesh-blob.
Admin Post The monster was forced back from the fire magic attack that had been unleashed by Kahri. However the rest of you had not been so lucky. Because you had failed to attack when the oppertunity presented itself the creature had taken this as fear of it. And identified you as prey. It charged towards Rufus, swatting him aside easily with his claw, then he turned to Vale.
The creature unleashed a blast of corrosive vomit from its mouth quickly covering vale. However it didn't stay on him, after the intial damage the sick slimey substance dissolved into the air.The monster once more roared into the air. Turning its attention on Cloud.
OOC: Com'on guys, I've had to attack cause your taking too long to post. Juve is excluded because he's been on holiday.
Rufus had jumped through the flames just a moment too soon it seemed, for just then a helicopter flew over and dropped a large crate with the ShinRa logo on it. There was a deafening CLANG as the metal crate met the metal train platform. There was a loud rumble from within the crate, and Rufus was immediately furious again. The fools at the science department had been experimenting again. Rufus gripped his shotgun tighter in his hand and watched as the crate became dented from the inside. Then it burst open and a great beast lumbered out.
The creature was featureless, looking like a bipedal blob of flesh. This wasn't just any experiment done by just any of the knife happy surgeon junkies in the science department, no this experiment reeked of Hojo. This had to be the work of the head of the department, no one else would continue to experiment on something so hideous. The creature looked around, resting its gaze on Rufus. He aimed his gun, ready for the fight and the creature staggered back, and turned away.
Rufus was shocked. He was no fool, he knew that the beast probably saw him as an easy target (and truth be told, though he was ready to fight it out, he wasn't sure how much of a challenge he could honestly pose to the thing), so why did the beast not attack. Rufus looked over his shoulder and he had his answer. He was standing directly in front of the fire wall. The beast doesn't like fire.
Rufus obviously wasn't the only one to figure that out; as he turned back to the beast he saw the Al-Bhed woman shoot out a blast of magical flames. Rufus grinned and watched, yes this was perfect, so long as he stayed near the flames he had nothing to worry about, the beast would destroy the prisoners for him, the beast would be weakened from the fight, and then he could take it out himself....Or that was the plan at least. The woman's fire spell had burned the creature's face bloody and raw, apparently driving it away from her...and toward Rufus. The beast came barreling directly at his. "Gah!" Before Rufus had time to react he was on his back several yards away, his gun skidding off the edge of the platform and onto the train tracks below.
"What the fuck!?!" He was supposed to be safe by the fire, what had happened? He lifted himself up on one elbow (his other arm was injured, dislocated shoulder, it seemed) and looked around. He watched the beast blink several times, getting blood out of it's eyes, as it stared at the demon child before launching its...'volitile' attack. It then turned to one of the guards, hidden from sight behind the flames. And suddenly Rufus understood.
The Al-Bhed's fire spell had blinded the damned thing. The beast was now tracking it's prey through scent, not sight. That is why it attacked Rufus, even though the flames should have scared it off, and that was why it was now facing a guard who was completely hidden from sight behind the very wall of flames that the beast was so frightened of. "It would appear that there is no point in even trying to continue to fight this thing," Rufus said to himself "because any second now the beast will walk blindly into the fire and it would all be over." Rufus smiled smugly as he turned his attention away from the monstrosity. He calmly got to his feet. There was a roar behind him. He smiled and turned. It felt good to be right.
...But he wasn't right, not right at all. The beast reared up in the flames, roaring angrily. It was true that the beast didn't like fire, and it seemed to be in a lot of pain, but it was foolish of Rufus to think that the flames alone would be enough to kill it. And now the beast was angry as well as hungry. For the first time in a long time Rufus was worried. He was unarmed and had no offensive magic in his disposal, if the beast came after him again, he was finished.

((As I said above, I was waiting for my turn but...))
((Also, I don't normally curse, so that WTF up there is a rare treat just for you guys, hope you appreciate it.))
Valedus was trying to decide what was worse: being shot in the shoulder or nearly having a large crate dropped on him. After the gigantic hulking fleshy ugly, and not to mention loud, beast burst from the crate, he naturally decided on the second option.
"Is it just me, or do things go from 'sucks complete ass' to 'might as well commit suicide or something' WAAAAAAY too often when I'm with you people?" Sure, it was pretty obvious the thing didn't like fire (judging by the way it screeched while it was standing in the middle of his Flare spell he cast earlier), and Vale certainly had a few fire spells, the situation was far from ideal. He was injured, the crazy lady was injured and he wasn't so sure about the military guy... but Vale assumed he was injured too just to build up the fact that they were probably screwed in his mind.
Nevertheless, the demon, who had by now gotten a safe enough distance away (he had turned and ran after he got shot), he began to mumble to runes to his Flare spell again. However, by the time he had finished, two unexpected things happened. First, crazy lady managed to cast a spell, something Vale had never expected she could do; then the beast charged Rufus, who had somehow managed to get through the flaming wall Vale had put up. Now the thing was out of his range and Vale had a spell on the tip of his tongue. Cursing his ill luck- the boy ran back towards the thing, getting just close enough to launch his spell at it. A bad decision on his part.
Vale had not noticed that the freakish beast had been blinded by the crazy lady's spell, and was therefore tracking it's prey by sense of smell. As soon as Vale had let off his attack, the thing had turned towards the Lucavi and began to lumber in his direction. While it hit his Flare attack dead on, the monstrosity still kept it's lunging pace towards Vale. His eyes widening in fear, Vale waited for the inevitable: getting crushed by something that resembled a week-old batch of vanilla pudding come to life.
Wait a second... I don't have to deal with this crap! I have wings!
Practically sobbing with relief at this revelation, Vale immediately launched himself into the air, causing the fiend to miss him entirely. From his lofty height, Vale began to utter another spell (regular old Fire this time) and fired it at the beast, hitting it directly in the middle of the back. Unfortunately, now the thing knew where he was 'hiding', not to mention every single soldier who had eyesight of any sort saw the demon cast the fire spell. A hail of bullets were launched at Vale- which only missed because a long, sticky tongue lashed out from the monstrosity's maw and latched itself onto Vale's leg with tiny suckers that tore through the flesh in his leg. The suckers, at that point, began to do what they were there to do- suck. They began to leech blood from Vale as the tongue slowly dragged him back to the thing's mouth. Panicking, the demon reached for his short-sword, only to find he didn't have it on him. He tried to remember the incantation to another spell to break himself free, but nothing came to him. As the world around him began to blacken, he fell back towards the ground, smashing into the steel floor and breaking the arm he had been shot in.
This, fortunately, jolted the young demon from his near loss of consciousness. With the blackness creeping into the edges of his vision again, he uttered the spell he used most in his arsenal- Thunder. The bolt severed the thing's tongue from his leg, effectively keeping Vale from being sucked dry- but it wasn't enough to keep him conscious.
He passed out barely thirty feet away from the very thing that tried to devour him.
Clouds attention was suddenly taken away from the escaping prisoners, it appeared Shinra had sent some of Hojo's experiments in to deal with the mess.
'As if things weren't bad enough'
Cloud had heard all about Hojo, he was the man in charge of the science division. He was a cruel and twisted man, capable of many horrific things. Cloud had never directly spoken to him, nore did he want to. He wondered why Hojo would send such a vile monster to dispose of a few petty criminals. It seemed like such a stupid thing for a man like him to do, especially since the vice president was still here.
The blonde grunt would look up at the creature, it was truly a crime against nature, the worst part was that that creature was probably a human being at one point.
Cloud combat rolled behind a small crate quickly, grabbing a magazine from one of the compartments on his trouser leg. He would reload as fast as he could. The blonde haired grunt was now the creatures center of attention, despite the demon boys constant aerial attacks. Cloud noticed that Rufus was still here too, he needed to make sure that creature stayed away from him.
Taking a deep breath, he stood up and ran forwards steadying his gun, spraying the creatures face with bullet after bullet. As he grew closer and closer he would notice something about the creature, whenever it moved closer to fire it retreated instantly. Cloud knew its weakness.
Within seconds Cloud had ran to the side of the creature, with such a risky move Cloud would take a severe hit to the ribs. Falling to his knees for a moment Cloud would spit a little blood up, two cracked ribs, or possibly one. Cloud shook it off and stood up.
Using his gun as a tool rather than a weapon, Cloud stabbed the gun into the creatures side. Pushing off of the gun, Cloud would just about land on top of the creature. Struggling to maintain his grip, Cloud looked down to his gun, it had been ripped from the beast once more and now lay upon the floor.
Cloud crawled closer and closer to the creatures head, as he reached it he would begin to focus his energy. The small piece of materia began to glow brightly within his glove. Raising his hand, Cloud would slam the gloved hand upon the head of the beast. A fireball about the side of a basketball would manifest and make quick impact with the creatures face, mainly around the eye area.
The creatures violent reaction to the flame spell would cause it to wriggle wildly. Cloud fell from a top the creature instantly.
Grunting as he landed painfully on the stone floor, Cloud would reach out for his rifle and grab it. Slowly making it to his feet, the Shinra lackey would look up at the monster and slowly move backwards. He wasn't entirely sure, but he was beginning to see signs of damage within the creature.
((So Kahri told me it was my turn, but I was waiting on Juve and Kor. Well Kor has posted and Juve is gone, so I was going to post, but Fool seems to think that it's Kahri's turn, not mine. So really everyone is confused as to who's turn it is next. And that is why I haven't posted. Although, I'm pretty sure we abandoned the turn order upon the appearance of the monster, so who's to say who's turn it is.))
It was a swift turn of events, one the woman should have seen coming, but it was none the less unexpected. That bumbling, slobbering demon was raising all sorts of hell at its own expense. Body scarred and burned, peels of flesh literally melted off its bulbous form and slapped into heaps on the concrete. It was disgusting. Plan and simple.
The creature's sights fell on the army clad form of Juve, man momentarily occupied with the Midgar forces. It waddle was thunderous and loud, easily distinguishable among the gun shots. But the inattention was his downfall. In a sudden clap of gum and jaw it was over before Kahri had a chance to register the event. The only remnants of the man that was once Juve was a puddle of blood and a torn carcass, entrails skewed across the concrete. She had to look away. Though she was familiar with death and mangled forms, she was not without emotion. TO see the half eaten body of someone she would have called a comrade was still disgusting. But poor bastard...nothign could be done. And Kahri certainly wasn't the type to go guns blazing toward the monstrosity in revenge. It simply was not her style.
None the less, he beast need to be taken care of. The man in white had done what he could, and the demon child decided to flee on his gifted wings. The Al-Bhed female smirked. Now who was the coward.
Setting her sights on the monster, she raised her claws glittering with channeled energy and the gleam of the firelight. Keeping her position, she fired a volley of flame directly into the beast's face, searing the decaying flesh with startling accuracy. The energy within her slowly began to dwindle, fatigue overtook her lithe frame, now supported against the interior of the station entrance.
The beast wabbled and cried in its rage, swatting at the disappating flames still licking against its flesh and melting away its bulbous exterior. With an ear-rining wail it cried, spilling pools of salivate before collapsing on the ground, breathing labored and body immobile.
This was her cue to leave. With lingering stretch the female righted herself, reaching to secure the creature still wrapped around her neck, hissing at the downed beast. With a look to the fallen demon and a smirk for his misfortune, Kahri rounded the entryway and took to the streets. The pain of her wounded leg now dulled to a hard throbbing and ache, but for her escape she toughed it, wanting to put more distance between herself and the chaos of the scene behind.
Rufus stood and watched the battle. He was out of range of the beast's attacks, and it was sufficiently distracted by the prisoners and the lone guard, why shouldn't he enjoy the show? He watched in silence. He watched as the demon be knocked from the air, he watched the military man be disemboweled and he watched as the Al-Bhed collapsed from exhaustion, having finally downed the creature before her. Rufus, seeing that the fight was done, turned away from the heavily breathing woman, and her beaten up companions. He retrieves his gun, and a few moments later jumps back up onto the platform. He walks up to the dying monster, it's breathe coming is wavering gasps. He holds up his gun and fires once into the blob's fleshy head.
He heard the calls of the remaining guards behind him. (Of course, the fire wall dissipates immediately AFTER the epic fight.) The noise causes him to look up, and when he looks up he notices that the Al-Bhed woman is gone, a trail of blood pointing in the direction she ran. But before Rufus could run after her, the guards had caught up with him. All at once they seemed to be asking questions and comments about what happened, and though the comments weren't directed at him (they knew better than to speak their minds with Rufus), they still managed to tear his attention away from looking for the fleeing prisoner. It seemed that the lone guard to have made it through the fire wall was a celebrity for his display of skill against the beast. Rufus looked out the exit, and over the stair railing, out onto the plaza below. She was no where in sight. He turned to the guards, who were still chatting merrily. "After her," He barks, and the guards immediately go silent. "bring her directly to me, not to the holding cells, and not to my father." He was furious with the way things turned out tonight and was determined to take it out on her. "GO!" The guards hastily followed his command. "And tell no one of tonight's events!" He called after them. "It seems I need to have a talk with Hojo." He added under his breath as he turned and walked away toward the ShinRa building, leaving the dead and dying bodies of the guards, prisoners, and the monster laying on the platform behind him.
It seemed that with the trail of destruction this creature left in its wake you were all free to escape. Rufus retreating back towards the Shinra building to have his little chat with Hojo. You were all free for now to go your seperate ways or stick together. Kahri it seemed took the first option and bolted down the street injured as she was.
However. She didn't make it that far. From the shadows there was a figure watching her movements. When she had gotten far away enough he walked out of the shadows and began to follow her. Unbeknowst there were others as well, melding into the crowd. One single feature distinguished them. Sunglasses. Bang. A blunt hit to the back of the head and Kahri was knocked out and dragged into and alleyway. One of the others looked towards the man who had originally been watching her.
"Fryd crymm fa tu fedr ran?"
The man removed his shades and grinned. "Dyga ran du dra pyddma veamtc, ran luiceh fyhdc y funt"
