Karrl stands at six foot exactly and weighs in at two hundred and ten pounds of toned goodness. His build is something some bodybuilders have spent all of the life trying to achieve, because it is muscular but not overly so. His skin is a deep olive colour, about the same tone as the average Hispanic. Karrl’s eyes stand out more than any part of him, because they are not human. The iris and sclera are not like a normal human and at a pure red with the sclera being scarlet and the iris being candy apple red. The pupil is a little smaller than normal but is still black.
Due to the fact they would stand out anywhere on earth or many other planets he wears hazel contacts in his day to day life, only taking them out when he needs to or when he is in his costume. His hair is also another thing that truly stands out because it is pure silver. Out of direct sunlight it looks more grey then silver but when it is hit by sunlight is shines like perfectly polished silver. His hair is very long and reaches his lower back and is usually tied up into a braid.
His style of dress is similar to the ninety’s Grunger. His upper bodys clothing is more punk then grunge but still similar. His usual top is a skin-tight tank-top, black in colour. He also wears a pair of short spiked cuffs and a pair of fingerless, black, leather gloves. To top it all off he wears a pendant with the dragon on it to symbolise both his strength and courage. There is also a long, flowing, leather, trench-coat he wears as well which reaches his ankles. On the lower half he wears a pair of stonewashed, dark blue, denim jeans. He also wears a pair of black boots.

This young man is a complicated one By most standards he is quite laid back, and will not give a second thought to just chilling under a tree somewhere with his guitar and a note pad tree somewhere with his guitar and a note pad.

He has been asked on a number of occasions, after doing some of these things, if he had a death wish, and his response was always the same, what’s the point in living without taking a few risks.
That pretty much sums up Karrl, but there is a third side to him which will come out now and again. The third side he has is the side of a philosopher When the mood takes him he can be a very deep and meaningful person, and when the time is right he might come out with a saying or two which would make most people stop to think about it. To put it simply, and in words Karrl has said before he can go from a scatterbrain to a philosopher in philosopher in 0.5 seconds.

Duel Wield (Passive): During his time training with SeeD Karrl has become a specialist in duel weaponry. Karrl has the ability to wield two weapons at once.
Beast Hunter (Passive): For reasons which are currently unknown to him Karrl has always been better at fighting creatures of a beast like nature. He deals +20 dmg when fighting Beast type creatures.
Heighten Senses (Passive): Karrl’s senses are heightened beyond a normal human’s around one half greater than the average human. This is to do with the beast inside of him.
Bestial Rage (Active): In the midst of battle something inside of Karrl awakens and takes him over. This creature seems to fuel his power by rage and feeding of the magical power Karrl has. May transfer 25% of his Mag stat to his Atk stat for 1 round. Cost: 1MP Per Stat Transferred.
Quick Step (Active): Along with his ability to wield two weapons at once, during his time with SeeD he has learnt to manipulate his internal energies. Due to his ability in energy manipulation he can briefly increase his speeds to superhuman levels. 1 evade per thread.
Screech (Magic): The first offensive energy manipulation technique he learnt. Increasing the energy in his vocal chords he can let out a ear splitting screech. Deals 10 base dmg to 1 foe and may cause silence. Cost: 30MP.
Scorpion Strike (Attack): This is a lunging poisonous attack, which emulates the way a scorpion strikes. Deals 20 base dmg to 1 foe and may cause poison. Cost: 40MP.
Roundhouse Kick (Attack): Karrl has a little training in unarmed combat. This is exactly what it says it is, a roundhouse kick, using an high arching kick to attack his foes. Deals 10 base dmg to 3 foes. Costs: 50MP.
Level 2
Duel Wield Expert (Passive): Over time his skills in wielding duel weapons, two weapons at once have improved. They have increased to the point he can be called an expert in using them. Can wield two weapons at one and deals an addition 20pts of dmg when using them.
Beast Fighter (Passive): Learning that the link between his skills at fighting beast and his own inner beast is linked the power behind this skill has grown. Deals an additional 40pts of dmg when fighting beast type creatures.
Enhanced Senses (Passive): As Karrl grows stronger so does the beast inside, and in turn increases the abilities given to Karrl from it. His senses have been enhanced further. Karrl’s senses are twice the strength of a normal human’s. Immune to Blind.
Burst Step (Active): With his ability in energy manipulation growing his can perform his Quick Step ability with less draining effects and so can do it multiple times. 2 evades per thread.
Wail (Magic): Not only has the strength behind this attack grown but the stopping power and area it affects has as well. Deals 20 non-elemental base dmg to 2 foes and may cause Silence & Slow. Cost: 80MP
Viper Fang (Attack): This is a twined version of Scorpion Strike which he will use after said skill. He uses his blades to emulate a viper’s fangs. Deals 20 base dmg to 3 foes and may cause poison. Cost: 75MP
Roundhouse Kick II (Attack): The technique behind this skill has improved so he can perform it to a much more damaging level. Deals 20 base dmg to 3 foes. Costs: 60MP

Duel Wield Master (Passive): The level of skill that Karrl has wield two weapon at once has gone well beyond the level of expert and can be called one of the masters of wielding duel weaponry. Deals an additional 40pts of dmg when wielding duel weapons.

HISTORY:
For as long as he could remember he knew what he wanted to be. His mother and father were both members of SeeD, and so, due to this fact, he had always wanted to be one himself. He actually grew up in the Garden himself, watching all of his mother and fathers’ generation of SeeD going out on missions and training. As well as that he saw the older boys and girls training to become SeeD themselves.
Then the day came, the day when he could enter the SeeD academy for training himself. He saw everyone with their own style of weaponry and knew, if he wanted to stand out, he would have to choose himself a weapon that would stand out as well. The day before he entered his training he was sitting on his bed thinking hard on what weapon to use. It was at that time his mother came in and spoke to him. It was a lengthy talk, and by the end of it he knew what weapon he wanted to use. He chose his mother’s weapon, a sabre.
Over the years of training he found that his fighting style was fast paced, and just one weapon could not help him get off the number of attacks he wanted to do. So, his mother told him about a twin weapon called the Shaung Dao, they were twin sabres, and she thought they would be more fitting to his fighting style. So, from that day on, he started to train with the Shaung Dao, and he found they were a perfect fit to his way of fighting.
At the age of sixteen his parents went off on a mission. He had been working on extending his abilities with fighting, and had found the energy manipulation techniques. He was not sure about them, but what had happened soon after changed his mind altogether. It had been two weeks since he had heard from his parents, and he was worried. Then, about two days later, he had been given the news that his parents had been killed by a Black Mage.
Due to this a number of things happened, one, he vowed that he would never use the art that had killed his parents, he vowed never to use magic again. However, he knew that he would have a tough time succeeding in becoming a SeeD if he did not have an edge, so, he decided to learn the techniques of energy manipulation, because it would be able to pick up the slack where the vow of not using magic had left him.
He was eighteen, and had learnt the basics of energy manipulation, and had even brought his on flare to it through increasing the speed of his movement, and a couple of other techniques alongside that one. There was something else as well, he was about to start his final exams to become a member of SeeD. He knew, when he became one, there was something else he had to do, he was going to become a mage hunter, so, when he was ready he could hunt down his parents’ killer, and rip out his, or hers’ black heart.
The day of his final exam he was both psyched and nervous at the same time. He did not know what was going to happen, even the written exam was a mystery to him. However, when it came to the written exam he had no reason to since, he aced the written. However, when it came to the field exam that was a different matter entirely. He was teamed up with a young girl by the name of Erinna, and, much to his chagrin, Seifer, who also happened to be placed as their team leader, which did not sit well with Karrl.
At first it was going smoothly, they had been sent to take out a bunch of fiends that had overrun a nearby area. However, due to Seifer’s selfish and impulsive nature, they were dragged out of the mission parameters, and ended up right in the heart of the nest. They ended up fighting a massive wolf, which Karrl honestly didn’t mind, he found that he had always been better at killing those kinds of fiends than any other, even though he did not know why. However, the next thing that happened totally threw him of guard.
When they were about to engage the foe Erinna freaked out, and, turned into a dragon. Before Karrl could blink or even think Erinna had toasted the giant wolf like it was a sausage on a BBQ. Just after he had managed to blink and think she had returned back to her normal state, and were ordered back to the ships by a very angry instructor. It was then he feared the worst, that he could actually fail the exam because of all of what had just happened. As he made his way back to the ship he did not speak, he just resided himself to his thoughts.
It did not take them long to get back, but, it seemed like a age, barely noting the arguments between the two of his fellow team mates. When they got back, they were pretty much straight away called up to receive the results. As Karrl waited there he could not stand it much longer when the person who called out who had passed and who had failed called out his, and Erinna’s name. He was shocked at first, but soon that shock was replaced by joy.
He was then sent up to the Headmaster’s office to receive his rank, which also surprised him, he received a rank nine, one below the highest, however he was not the only one he recived this rank, Erinna did to. When they had spoken to Headmaster Cid they were told to get ready for the SeeD ball. This was the event he was really looking forward to, since, he was old enough to drink, he would be able to really cut loose that night and not fear any repercussions because of the fact he was drinking on Garden grounds, which pleased him to no end.
When he arrived he grabbed a drink but soon after he caught sight of Erinna, and thought he would go talk with her. That talking soon turned into a dance, and things were going better than he would have thought. As the song end they talked a bit more which lead to them almost kissing, if it was not for headmaster Cid calling on Karrl’s talents as a guitarist and singer. Karrl being Karrl he could not resist and went on stage and performed. The rest of the night was slightly uneventful, much to the annoyance of Karrl and his libido.
The next morning, he was relatively fine after a can of coke and some painkillers. He was soon called on by Headmaster Cid, he was about to go on his first official mission. When he received it he was a little surprised, because it was to do with magic. He asked why he was called upon for this mission, and Cid simply stated that he was, along with Erinna, one of the highest passers of the final exams that year and he needed to put his personal feelings aside. He accepted this and went on his way, however, there was one more thing that was bugging him.
Erinna, she had been acting quite cold towards him, which really confused, and slightly annoyed him. When they got back into the elevator, he confronted her, and she pretty much sent him through a loop. First she had a go at him because of it, and then she kissed him. This whole thing awoke a side of him that he had not felt in a long time. When they exited the elevator, he told Erinna he would catch up. As soon as he left he found a girl, who he had help earlier that morning and took her to his room, and well, quiet aggressively had his way with her.
Over the next couple of month he was travelling around Spira, as was his mission. He saw and fought a lot of strange things; he even took down a massive fiend that had a particular taste for chocobos. He had also met an interesting individual by the name of Celes, who he actually met when he first arrived in Luca. However, over those two month, apart from growing stronger, nothing noteworthy was to be made. Into the third month there a member of SeeD arrived and told him he would be going to Alexandria, to represent Balamb Garden at Princess Garnet’s 16th birthday.
At the party he did his duty and even spoke with the Princess, however, the festivities were short lived. The next thing that happened went like a blur, first a number of cloaked figures came in, and killed the queen, and then, kidnapped the princess. However, that almost seemed like a side note to Karrl because one of those figures was Erinna. The thought of her betrayal drove him into a maddening anger and he quickly tore apart his would be lover before turning on the two witches. When Karrl, and the other fighters made the two witches retreat he came to his sense momentarily. However, that was short lived.
One of the Knights of Pluto scooped up Erinna and walked past him. As she was carried past Karrl Erinna had dropped something, a photo, of him. The sight and realisation of what he had done and what the head witch had made Erinna do drove him, if it was at all possible, into a greater rage than before and without even a second thought charged up the stairs to rip apart the witches. He would make them pay for all of this or die trying.
Roleplay Sample:
Cam was in the danger room, he had found this place really helped him in many ways, such has keeping himself in shape, one of the things he loved to do. He wanted to learn how to control his flames, it was true he would need help with this, but he didn’t think it would be a bad thing training his other areas of fighting ability, such as his King Fu. He stood in a barracks, hiding behind a wall; he had been cornered in, a group of soldiers.
He needed to find a way to get past them, or through them. It would be hard, but he had managed to kill three of the ten with some of his throwing knives, but he did not have enough knives to kill them, since he was down to two knives. He might have bitten off more then he could chew this time. The young fire starter saw the other side, and managed to figure out he could do something to get rid of two more. He took a couple of steps back and rolled forward launching himself into the air. As he dove towards the other corridor he launched himself into the air. As he dove through the air towards the other corridor he grabbed his last two throwing knives and flung them, both hitting their marks. Five left. He looked around and saw the corridor lead around, he hoped it would lead him to the right place.
He then moved quickly and quietly. He drew the broadsword from his back just in case he came to any resistance As he was about to turn around he caught a sight of five soldiers come his way. He waited for them behind the corner. As they approached he tightened the grip on his blade and readied himself and as he just managed to do that the five enemy troops came into view. He slammed his fist into one them breaking their jaw. He then moved his blade with a couple of slashes taking down two more. He finally finished off the last two with a large, jumping, reverse hook kick knocking them out.
Now that was sorted he made his way forward, towards the other troop. When he reached his target he saw that they were still facing his old position, perfect. He then used one of the barricades to launch himself into the air and the moved into an arching slash taking out three of them. He then slammed the pommel of the broadsword into one of the last two soldier’s jaw and then ran the final one through. He then ran toward the door at the far end of the barrack he then slammed his foot into it knocking it off its hinges. He ran and punched the button in the room and then the computer sounded,

For the MP cost, hike up the cost for any ability that affects more than 1 person.

Add 20MP to anything that deals a status effect AND deals damage.

I meant that the MP cost should be equal to the actual value transfered. So when Mag is 500, the cost is 125. When Mag is 1000 the cost is 250.
