Something has gone on with science. Somehow a crack has formed in the Final Fantasy VII universe and now those from Final Fantasy VIII have been able to get from their world to that of VII's. Cloud and Squall need to find out this madness and restore the crack, otherwise their worlds will collide and chaos will break free. However this is the work of JENOVA and Sephiroth. Not only does JENOVA want to conquer the world of Final Fantasy VII but the other worlds as well, starting with VIII. Time is of the essence and if Cloud and his friends are to stop JENOVA, they must find out how the split happened in the first place.
Not only has the split in the universe cause two worlds to be accessed, but characters you thought were deceased have been brought back. A long a deadly battle between good and evil is about to commence!
