Personality:
Sorrow fueled by loss can have a number of effects on an individual, depression, lack of confidence, or a complete lack of a will to live, Aune suffers from all three. Seeing herself as something of a human cancer, seeing everyone she gets close to die. She hasn't entirely given up on ever having relationships with people, though her past often lingers in her mind. Around others, Aune is often quiet, stand offish and too herself, surrounding herself in a shell which she rarely comes out of.
She wasn't always this way however. Aune used to be a proud woman, standing for a better good, led by "the light". Being taught by her mentors to believe in brighter days, a time without Sin or evil in the world. A False Utopia in which she lost faith in long ago. Remaining a husk of her former self, she could only remember the past and a certain day which it seemed would now and forever haunt her dreams.
Appearance:
Example of Facial Scars and Hair Style
Another Example, a Side View
Build wise, this young woman isn't anything to sneeze about, she of average height and a slender build, roughly 5'5" 136 pounds. She had straight black hair, which has a slight dark blue tint to it. All but her bangs just shy of chin length, her bangs traveling just slightly longer then said length, also to note, with how she parts her hair, the left side of her face is showing whilst most of the right is covered by her bangs. One of her most notable feature of course would be her piercing blue eyes aside maybe one thing. Aune has a few large scars on her face, one going horizontally across from the left side of her lips/mouth area, wrapping around her cheek.
She also has a large scar that runs vertically down across her left eye, both of them quite noticeable, the skin surrounding them noticeably darker and rough looking. Attire wise, Aune favors a large jacket which hugs her small frame, it black and color and the back having a hood which she wears up for the most part, also wearing the coat closed. The trim and lining of the jacket a bright Neon Blue. Her lower body covered in a pair of shorts which follow the same coloring as her jacket and also hug her body. To top this off she wears a simple pair of black boots which come to just below knee level.
For accessories there isn't much to this young woman, she wearing a simple pair of fingerless gloves on her hand, black in color. But perhaps the thing that stands out the most. Wearing a Respirator from a gas mask across her mouth, covering a portion of the scar on the bottom half of her face.

History:
Aune, a resident of Spira, born and raised in this world and like everyone else she had grown up to fear the monstrosity known as Sin. She would also learn to hate it like the other residents of Spira, especially as she lost her parents in an attack at an early age. She feeling the pain many have over the years to what Sin had taken from them and would continue to as the years go by, unchanged and only hindered by a calm which seemed shorter and shorter each time. The fact was far to much for a little girl to take in and like a child she fled with no goal in mind.
She was found shortly after by a pack of bandits led by a woman who went by the name Jun Kusanagi which took her in as one of their own. Jun taking Aune under her wing, teaching her their ways, how to defend herself and just how to survive. This becoming a second family and she did well to provide for them as best she could. As the years went by and her mind continued to expand, Aune had developed into a bright young girl, something treasured amongst her new found family. She somewhat of a mastermind, leaps and bounds more intelligent then this group of people which only pleased Jun who saw the uses of this girl.
Using Aune's mind, Jun's group of bandits had prospered greatly, Aune devising their plans to pillage the land. Though all good things must come to an end and this would come to an end just outside of Luca on the Highroad. A plan gone wrong had the group attempting to browbeat a Summoner on their pilgrimage out of their supplies. It was at this time a young man came into the picture, sporting a Katana. A Katana in which he used to cut down the group of bandits harassing the summoner in which he was guarding on their pilgrimage. As their blood stained the ground and the memories of her parents flashed before her, tears beginning to well up in her eyes. Aune charged in at this man, clearly stronger then she and was quickly dispatched with two wounds on her face. As the guardian was about to finish her off, the summoner had insisted that it was enough. With that she was left to bleed and ponder what had just happened. Once again her "family" had been taken from her, and by the very people which were supposed to stop a monster. The thoughts rained into her mind as her world faded to black.
She later awoke, once her vision cleared she had noticed her surroundings, she was in a hut, in a bed, alone. Several minutes went by before someone had entered the room and hurried over when they noticed she was awake. After inquiring, she had found out she was in Kilika after being found unconscious just outside of Luca. Just like that, Aune had found herself taken in and a new life forming infront of her, she now a Blitzball player for this town. Though she had a bright future infront of her, she would never forget her past, and never forgive those who hurt her.
RP sample:
The pain of utter helplessness, a sense of inevitability which sweeps across the body, a pain familiar to Aune who lay back first on the first path of the Mi'ihen Highroad. She surrounded by the bodies of her comrades, lifting a single hand to her face she felt the familiar warm liquid which was painting her face a crimson red. Tilting her head slowly to the side she could just barely make out the figure of the swordsman, she looking at the instrument which he had used to cut down her friends, their blood still dripping freely from the blade, staining the dirt beneath his boots. As her gaze shifted upward, their eyes locked, she noting the coldness in him. Clearly he would disregard this attack five minutes after the deed was done, it simply him doing his work in protecting his summoner on their pilgrimage and nothing more.
It didn't take long before he slowly began to make his way over to her, his footsteps echoing in her head, each louder then the last as that sense of dread welled up in her, the end. Once at her side, he wasted little hesitation in lifting his katana above his head, gripping the hilt tightly with both hands as he angled the sword straight down, the blade aiming for her heart. The blood which still dripped from the blade now began to trickle down over her wardrobe. It was as he was about to thrust downward that something peculiar happened. Their surroundings distorted heavily, shifting and catching both of their eyes as they looked to the side, this man lowering his sword as they now found themselves in a small village, the village in which Aune grew up, but wasn't that destroyed?
Well from the looks of it, the village was as busy as it had ever been, the townfolk out socializing with one another, others working hard, children out and playing. One child in particular though had caught Aune's attention, it was.....her....several years ago. As everything began to click in her mind, the sounds of screams could be heard from all over. Forcing herself to roll over onto all fours she looked in the direction of it and her heart sank as she did so. Her eyes quickly locked in on a monstrosity heading towards her village, Sin. Her hands clenching into fists as she lowered her head, practically grinding her teeth together as the tears began to distort her vision, Aune began to feel that utter helplessness again, knowing full well that even if she was at full strength there was literally nothing she could do about this.
The guardian who had been at her side, quiet throughout all of this let out a small chuckle as he slowly began to make his way toward Sin. Leaving Aune to only watch as he intentionally walked past the people who were running in the opposite direction, he not at all letting their bodies slow him down in his goal. Aune allowed her body to collapse into the dirt once more, this time face first as she just lay there defeated as the village began to undergo its inevitable destruction, and the all to familiar screams overtook her senses.
Without warning, Aune quickly pushed herself back up to all fours and looked around her surroundings. She surprised and relieved to see that she was inside of her hut, laying facefirst in her bed. The relief allowing her to now notice the fact that she was covered in sweat and her breathing well over what it should have been, signifying that she was only experiencing a nightmare. Knowing that however didn't do much in the way of calming her nerves as she merely held herself there for a few moments, her breathing not slowing. She almost didn't even notice the flap of her hut being pushed aside and an all too familiar face peeking their head in. "Hey brudd'a you ready for practice or what?" Aune could only look back at this figure, the sweat dripping from her face, a scene that wasn't at all new to them. ".....oh, take your time alright, we'll be waiting for ya'"
