Kraaven is very surly and ill-disposed towards people whom he isn't working with or for most of the time, not necessarily out of any ill-bearing towards them, but rather that he sees no business interacting with them. As such, he spends most time alone, in the back of rooms, gleaning what he can from a conversation but not exactly contributing unless the situation truly calls for it. Living as long as he has (which given that Bangaa live twice as long as the average human puts him around his mid twenties in terms of personality), he still is prone to violent outbursts, but unless they're directed at him or involve the dreaded Bangaa slur "lizard", he'll ignore brazen words as the utterances of a fool and return to what he was doing.
While slightly brooding, he doesn't sulk. His mission is first and foremost in his mind; find a paying job and earn as much Gil as he can for his family back home. That is the one loyalty of his that never changes, and one that he'll fight for to his dying breath. In short, Kraaven is the strong silent type in the room, and depending on which side's employed him, can be a true ally or a formidable enemy.
Appearance:
Like all bangaa, Kraaven is tall, broad shouldered and chested, and having a distinctive reptilian look. Due to his primarily red skin, he is designated as a Bangaa Faa, or one destined to keep justice and order, and are employed as knights. His snout is shorter on average and his eyes are a slitted amber gold. As far as clothes go, Kraaven is dressed in protective black and dark gray leather armor.
Equipment:
Gravity Axe- A rather powerful weapon looted off the battlefield of a skirmish between the Archadian Empire and the Rabanastre forces back in the times of war, and when Kraaven was little more than a scavenger. It's basically an obsidian colored weapon with a huge double blade, and a dial near the hilt to change the power level of the attacks. The blade is literally so heavy that many a lesser man would struggle beneath it's weight, but to the bangaa, he can wield it easily with both.
Combat Abilities:
Slots are determined through race and class. If class or race doesn't add any additional slots then the base number is 1. Combat abilities are abilities that for the most deal physical damage or weaken the opponent in some way ( power break).However some combat abilities may be magic based. Combat abilities are created by you. At the start you may only create a level 1 combat ability( ies) - unless you are a Lucavi-. Each level of ability is stronger than the last. Level 1 being light damage, Level 2 being Medium, and level 3 being strong. Level 2 and 3 abilities can only be obtained by upgrading your current ones with gained experience.
Level 1 Slots:
- Gravity System: Node 1 (Sustained)- By ratcheting up the dial on his axe, Kraaven can power up his weapon to incorporating a painful gravitational aura around the blade. On the first level, the effects are rather weak, merely causing knockback force with each swipe and having the opponent add 10% more to their word count in order to dodge the incoming blow.
- Rock Skin (Passive)- Due to liviing in harsh conditions for most of his career as a wandering mercenary, Kraaven has developed a tough layer of hide, making all damage that hits him only equal 0.75.

Magic
Magic is the power of the ancients, the ability to use the powers of the planet to heal or even to damage. Unlike combat abilities magic abilities cannot be made. Magic is premade and is listed under magic. At creation each character starts with a single magic slot, this is increased depending on race or class. A list of availble magics is in the appropriate thread. Level 2 and 3 magic abilities can only be learned if you have the corrisponding lower level spell.

History:
Born to others of his kind, Kraaven knew from his earlier years that he was destined to a life of servitude to his own people, being a knight and protector and keeping the peace between them and the humes who they shared their land of Ivalice with. But he chafed at the thought of being under the collective boot of his entire race, and when he became a teenager, decided to run away from his duties, taking the axe that he recovered from the battlefield with him and going to hone his martial skills as a mercenary or something. After a couple of weeks on the road and starting to feel the effects of hunger, he knew that he made a rather hasty choice, and so pulled in to the nearest city where he found work helping defend from incoming monster attacks, unloading goods from traders, any odd jobs he could cobble together.
Here, he found a female bangaa and began a relationship with her, and after awhile, found that she had come with child. When the day came, Kraaven found ut horribly that she died in the pregnancy due to complications, but his newborn son had survived, and so it was up to him to care for the child. Five years went by like this, Kraaven finding somewhat steady work with the mostly hume guard as auxiliary forces needed to clear up monster infested areas for traders and doing all he could to care for his only child, whom he named Kire. After his sixth birthday, Kire suddenly was bitten by a poisonous creature and fell into a deep coma. The healers managed to keep him stable, but he wouldn't wake up unless an antidote was sent by doctors within the richer hume cities that charged exhorbitant prices, especially to bangaa and other races.
Kraaven had no choice. He had to leave his son Kire in the care of some trusted family and wander off to other places for money to pay for the medicine.

The large bangaa snorted irritably at the sign outside the local bounty office. Even this far outside of the more prosperous cities where crime was more rampant, there was little to be found. The hunting idea was a gamble as there were already quite a few who scooped up the marks far more quickly than the rest of the stragglers like him could manage to find them.
That meant only one other option: looking for opportunity off this wretched continent. To Kraaven, he didn't even need to think twice about it. Only his son's health mattered to him, and if he had to span the globe a dozen times to bring in the cash needed to break him out of that coma, so be it.
Looking into his already sparse funds, Kraaven managed to cobble together just enough to purchase a one way ticket on the first ship leaving for the port of a foreign land. He didn't care how and he didn't care what he had to do. He just needed money and quickly. It was a tough thing, actually telling yourself that you'd basically do anything for a paycheck, but he knew it was the only option available to him.
