Personality:
Being a victim of circumstance, Hope starts off as a sensitive and insecure child. Hope describes himself as helpless since he always runs away from his problems. On the other hand, he has an intense resentment towards Snow for the part he played in the death of his mother. On multiple occasions, he wants to confront Snow about his mother's fate, but he is so grief-stricken that he is never able to form the words that he wants to say. Hope's speech is usually reserved, but he tends to make ourbursts of anger and frustration whenever his emotions get the best of him. He has a warm side to him as well as a subtle sense of humor, which is briefly seen when he is with Nora in Bodhum. Hope has always confided in his mother and relied on her for protection, due to having a distant relationship with his father ever since reaching adolescence. After Nora's death, Hope turns to Vanille for emotional support due to her kindness towards him. However, he eventually becomes dependent on Lightning for support as well as protection and guidance. Whenever Hope has moments of confusion and doubt, he usually turns to them for answers. He tries to follow Lightning's example as a former soldier in order to gain experience in battle and survive in the world. Ultimately, Hope matures into a brave and wise young man, partly due to his time under Lightning's tutelage.

What does your character look like?
Hope's outfit consists of a short-sleeved orange and yellow jacket, a green neckerchief over a black shirt, and black gloves with white palms. He also wears deep green pants, a black storage pack hanging from a black belt over his left leg, and light green Doc-Marten style boots. His l'Cie brand is on his left wrist, mostly covered by his wristband. He has layered silver hair along with blue-green eyes, also he is 5 feet tall.
Equipment:
What does your character carry? Instead having a sword he uses a Boomerang that is yellow in color as in named Airwing. He also carries a small dagger that lightning gave him to hold on to. Though Hope would only use it to get revenge otherwise he doesn't use the dagger.
Combat Abilities:
Slots are determined through race and class. If class or race doesn't add any additional slots then the base number is 1. Combat abilities are abilities that for the most deal physical damage or weaken the opponent in some way ( power break).However some combat abilities may be magic based. Combat abilities are created by you. At the start you may only create a level 1 combat ability( ies) - unless you are a Lucavi-. Each level of ability is stronger than the last. Level 1 being light damage, Level 2 being Medium, and level 3 being strong. Level 2 and 3 abilities can only be obtained by upgrading your current ones with gained experience.

-Force Field- With his ability of becoming a I'Cie he has adapted an ability that is triggered with emotion of hate and anger. An orange blast surrounds him blasting with a forceful force of all his enemies around him. 0.5 damage to all enemies around Hope. This ability can be used as offensive or defense to damage multiply enemies or push back your enemies that is surrounding Hope.

Magic
Magic is the power of the ancients, the ability to use the powers of the planet to heal or even to damage. Unlike combat abilities magic abilities cannot be made. Magic is premade and is listed under magic. At creation each character starts with a single magic slot, this is increased depending on race or class. A list of availble magics is in the appropriate thread. Level 2 and 3 magic abilities can only be learned if you have the corrisponding lower level spell.

Transfering untouched exp from Alister to Hope

History:
Hope and his mother, Nora, take a vacation in the seaside town of Bodhum to see the annual fireworks show; his father, Bartholomew, is due to join them, but calls at the last minute to cancel due to being too busy with work from the Sanctum, to Hope's relief. Before the show, Hope and Nora visit the Euride Gorge, alongside children who appear to be on a school field trip. With buzz still circulating about the incident at Euride three days prior, Hope and Nora return to Bodhum in slightly lesser spirits.
At the fireworks, Hope laughs at his mother's insistence on the wish-making tradition since he believes that it is for little kids. When Hope asks Nora what she wished for, he is quickly disappointed when he realizes his mother wished for his father to be able to be with them next time they visit. Unbeknownst to both of them, nearby in the town, PSICOM discover the Pulse fal'Cie, Anima, within the Bodhum Vestige. Both Hope and Nora are caught within the subsequent quarantine the next day, and forced upon the Purge train, alongside a young woman they bumped into on the platform, Vanille.
Getting caught between the purge he laters joins lightning and escapes the train but at the cost of watching his mother die in front of him and becoming an I'Cie. He has now been separated from his group and trying to survive on his own and to find snow to get his revenge and trying to learn his focus.
RP sample:
Hope is laying on the ground just waking up from a blast that had knock him out cold. All he remember was he was with a few people trying to run away from PSICOM. As he brings himself up he notices his left hand he is branded with a mark of I'Cie. Terrified of the thought begins to run in fear of himself. Tears begin to fall down his face as he just realized his mother is not with him anymore and he is alone. Alone, weak, and an enemy to cocoon was not good combo for Hope. "Why is this happening to me? Mom....come back please!!!" He shouts out loud. Seconds after Hope screams out loud he is ambushed by three PSICOM soldiers pointing their guns at him. Hope's heart is now rushing in fear of dying, stepping backwards slowly as the soldiers go forward toward him.
Hope is scared at this point and does only a kid would do run in panic from the soldiers. Sprinting for his life he darts to the left of him and hope to lose his enemies by out running them.
