He is known to outwit some of the smarter humans.

History:
Ameri was never your average moogle. Most that knew him would even say he was a black sheep. His honesty swapped for cunning and he more crude than caring. His lack of a moral compass soon caused the young moogle to be cast out from the society he grew up in. Not even his parents wish for him to remain a part of their community. So he left. Why would he need a bunch of good-two-shoes anyway?
It didn't take the clever moogle to figure out a way to care for himself. His broken moral compass was sure to show him the way, the way of the rogue. Quickly he learned to pick pockets and locks; he stole gil and valuables alike. Anything that could get him what he want was good in his eyes.
It wasn't long until the members of Tantalus took notice. Were they angered by him working their streets? Well at first, of course. Because of his seemingly harmless exterior, they saw the value of keeping him alive. They welcomed him into their group.
RP sample:
Ameri trotted about the street, weaving between the busy feet of many people. All shapes and sizes of them. Big pockets, small pockets, gil purses and satchels. It was a gold mine and all of it was waiting for him to scoop it up. "I will do it gladly, kupo" though the moogle as she scoped out his first prey.
A fat purse hung at the waist or a even fatter man. "Bingo!" he thought. He charged toward the fat man, his feet swift. He darted around in the crowd unnoticed. His furry little hand grabbed hold of the purse while the man was distracted at a stand. Ameri quickly cut the purse loose from the man's belt and he was off, disappearing into the crowd.
One the man had realized something was missed Ameri could hear the shouting. "Too bad for the fat sucker," thought the moogle. "I have to eat, kupo."
