Amalthea is a quite girl, not wanting to really open up to anyone because she knows what her future holds and doesn't want anyone to get too close. She hides what she really feels behind a smile which she has perfected over the years, whenever she is sad, she just smiles and bares it. Amalthea may seem like she doesn't care when in fact she cares alot about everyone. Amalthea doesn't like causing people pain if she can help it but she understands that sometimes she might have to.

Suisho Otome: Amalthea's rapier, it was crafted esspecially for her by her father in hopes that it would keep her safe while she was on her journey. The blade is long and thin, with runic words written down one side, the hilt is green, Amalthea's favorite color, and in the hilt is a polished ruby which is visible on both sides, this ruby has the ability to channel energies through it to aid in magic casting.

Combat Abilities:
Level 1 Slots:
- Angel's Blade - Ranged, Magical, Offencive - Suisho Otome glows a bright white, Amalthea throws Suisho Otome which then starts to spin rapidly, causing a blinding light and allowing it to keep going through the air. If this attack hits its target, Suisho Otome returns to Amalthea at the beginning of her next post, if it misses, Amalthea must retreave Suisho Otome. This attack is 20% harder to dodge and inflicts non-elemental magic damage. This attack cannot be used in consecutive posts.
- Light Sorcery - Active, Offencive/Defencive - Amalthea has attained the ability to control light to a certain degree, with this level she is able to gather light to attack, defend or evade but she can only do it so many times before it stops working. Amalthea is able to use these abilities so long as there is light (in pitch black she cannot use these abilities) However, in dimly lit places, she can gather light into an orb in order to see better (does not count as a Light Sorcery skill).
- Aeon Coverse - Personal, Passive, Supportive - Amalthea has learnt how to converse with the Aeons she has obtained by creating an inner world inside her mind whenever she needs to, because of this, all Aeon attacks do 0.25 more damage and Overdrive attacks can be used double her normally allowed amount before the Aeon disapears.
- Light Prison - Activated, Defencive - Amalthea creates a bubble out of pure light around a target which floats a short way off the ground, while in this bubble, the target cannot attack, however, attacks may still enter the bubble, to get out, the target in the bubble must use a transportation ability (e.g. Teleportation) that allows them to get beyond the limits of the bubbles walls. If a transportation ability is used, the round continues as if Amalthea had not used this ability. If the target inside tries to attack, the attack will simply be neutralised by the bubbles energy. While in this bubble, the target cannot dodge, however they can still block. This ability lasts for 1 round and is extremely hard to dodge. 5% increase to word count to dodge. Must have at least 2 posts between uses.
- Light Veil - Passive, Supportive - Amalthea seems to always be surrounded by a veil of light, this veil offers her protection from damage and negative status effects. Amalthea is immune to Silence, Bio, Slow and Blind.
- Advanced Summoning - Passive, Personal - Through advanced concentration training. Amalthea has now gained the ability to summon up to two aeons at once in battle. This ability will also stretch into regular summons after Sin is defeated.
- Inner Self - Personal, Supportive - After her encounter with August and the drug was administered, something strange happened to Amalthea, its almost as if Amalthea's personality was split into multiple pieces. The other versions of herself can take over whenever they feel they have to and also keep Amalthea's mind clear from outside effects as well as giving her a slightly strengthened will allowing her to strike without as much hesitation. Amalthea's attacks now deal 0.25 more damage (does not include Aeon attacks) and Amalthea is slowly becoming immune to psychological effects, so far, Confuse and Berserk.
- Ride of the Tyrants - Offensive, Unique, NPC/Boss, Chance - One year in which to use the ability after which point it becomes null and void. Can only be used twice within that year and only in NPC and Boss battles. Amalthea calls upon the four Tyrants of Journeys End who can come and destroy the NPC/Boss in question if they hear her call. Can only be used after 10 battle posts have been made against said NPC/Boss and Adiona decides whether it is a success or not.
- Elemental Magnet - Passive, Supportive, Aeon - Amalthea has learnt how to combine her magic into the Aeons she summons to create a field of energy around them. This field of energy becomes attuned to the Aeon and takes on their natural element, drawing in attacks of that element and allowing the Aeon to absorb the energy from the attack. While Amalthea has any Aeons out, attacks that have the same element as that Aeon, both opposing and allied, are drawn to the Aeon, eg, Ifrit draws in fire attacks, Shiva draws in ice attacks and Ixion draws in thunder attacks. Not only does the Aeon take the attack but absorbs the energy of the attack, allowing them to recover 1 HP per attack. The only attacks unaffected by this ability are attacks that come from the Aeon themselves, so if Amalthea were to cast Thunder, Ixion would absorb it but if Ixion casts Thunder it is unaffected. This ability is only in affect with one Aeon even if two are out, this Aeon will always be the first Aeon summoned
Level 2 Slots:
- Light Manipulation - Activated, Offencive/Defencive - Amaltheas ability to control light has advanced to a point where she can now form more defined shape. Attacks which use Light are not considered Magical or Physical and so are not affected by abilities or spells which define the damage type as either Magical or Physical, instead dealing a unique damage type which cannot be duplicated. On top of this advancement, Amalthea has learnt how to attack and defend herself with these abilities to a higher degree.
- Angels Blade Version 2 - Offencive, Ranged, Magical - Amalthea starts this attack as she does with her usual Angels Blade, however when it starts to spin, it splits into three seperate blades which have the exact same qualities as the original. Because of how they travel, if possible the blades will attack 3 seperate targets. The base increase to dodge one of the swords is 25% and for each additional sword on the same target it is increased by a further 5%, so 2 swords on a single target would be 30% increase and so on. No matter how many swords hit a target, it will still only deal damage as if one had. Both Angels Blade and Angels Blade Version 2 can be used with any weapon, and so long as one of the blades hits a target, the weapon shall return to Amalthea at the start of her next post, otherwise she must retrieve it. This attack cannot be used in consecutive posts.
- Light Confinement - Activated, Light, Confinement - Amalthea has learnt how to increase the effectivness of her Light Prison by increasing the amount of energy used in the creation of it. The ball of light now forms quicker than before and has gained another little nasty ability to what it had before. When inside the ball of light, the person inside cannot escape, the wall of the ball of light now seperates dimensions and only has a one way flow, allowing things to enter but not to leave. Also due to the slightly decreased size of the ball, it becomes harder to block while inside. 20% harder to dodge initially, 10% harder to block while inside and impossible to dodge while inside, cannot escape once inside even with transportation abilities. This ability can be used up to twice a thread but must have 4 posts between uses.
Level 3 Slots:
- Angels Blade Final Assault - Offensive, Ranged, Magical - Amalthea has advanced her abilities with her sword to the point that she can create a destructive force. By throwing her sword into the air, it disappears before a rain of swords comes down from the sky and strikes everything within its area other than her. The swords are increadibly fast and powerful making them very difficult to avoid and deal immense damage to anyone hit by them. Attacks all people in the thread (NPC's, Enemies and Allies except Amalthea), deals 1.5 damage if it connects, is 75% harder to block or dodge, damage cannot be lowered and the attack cannot be redirected (as there would be too much to redirect), may only be used once a thread. Suprisingly does not damage surrounding area, just those in that area.

Amalthea was born on Kilika Island and almost instantly was able to take care of herself. She was often left alone by her parents as they went about their daily lives, she would just sit and look out the window, feeling alone and looking at all the happy families. Amalthea understood that her parents didn't leave her alone because they wanted to but because they had to, they were very busy people and there was trouble all over. Amalthea often went out and played with the other kids on Kilika Island, often playing with a Blitzball but never really being any help to what team she was on. In secret she learnt how to use magic, at least to a small degree, in that when the other kids would get hurt, she was able to cure them.
Amalthea quickly learnt how to use her magic to a higher level she had been able to before, on occassion without meaning to, she was able to use the magic of Life when she was only 8 but could only do it to small animals at the time. When her father and mother found out, on one of her accidental casts, her father started to craft Suisho Otome for her, wanting to keep her safe. It took him 2 years to complete it to how he wanted it, but at that time it was bigger than Amalthea was. He kept it as a suprise and gave it to her on her 15th birthday, she was so overjoyed she actually started to cry. She left Kilika shortly afterwards for her Pilgrimage, however, she had no guardians with her and had to rely highly on her white magic.

The dome absorbs the energy of any attacks coming towards the people within and protect those inside it before shattering the turn after. Auto-Block, negates all effects of attacks on people inside during the turn it is used, shatters in Amaltheas next post, can be used upto twice a thread but must have 3 posts between uses, cannot be used in the same turn as any other Light Manipulation skills (other than the basic).
- Light Stream Strike - Activated, Offencive - Amalthea forms multiple ribbons of light which flow from her fingers, these ribbons of light move in a way which is almost hypnotic and are impossible to follow the movements of.
