History:
Beis was created and worked in a small, hidden town called Bran Bal. He did as he was ordered everyday and he knew nothing of the going ons of the outside world. Then one day, a Genome came to the village with a group of his friends. When the Geome spoke to him, he sounded different than any of the other Genomes in the village, save Mikoto. They were extremely similar in his opinion. Beis watched him closely during his stay in the village. This Genome could smile, frown and he even made strange "ha ha" sounds, which Beis later found out was called "laughter". Beis thought maybe if he traveled the world, he could be like this Genome... This Zidane.
After the fall of their creator, Garland, Beis packed up all that he owned and left the village to see the world. He did not meet any people as he traveled but he did become more adept at fighting, thanks to the monsters that lived in the area. He simply kept walking, with no real destination until he reached a large city. He walked into a very rundown area that the locals called the Slums. They also told him this was the city of Midgar.
Beis had not much to his name but his twin Orichalcon daggers and some gil. He used the gil to put up an ad in the market. He didn't really have a specific field of expertise. He decided then to become a jack of all trades. Doing what needed to be done, be it clean or dirty. After a few jobs, he had enough money to buy himself a small house in the Slums. This would be his headquarters for work as well. He also used the money from the jobs to buy nozels to read. He used these for his experiments on how to express feelings. There was one that stood out above the rest. The name in itself expressed him well enough. It was an epic called "Loveless". There was a hero here who apparently loved reading it as well...
After the war began, Beis found it harder and harder to leave the city. He's unsure how long he will be able to keep getting jobs...
RP sample:
Beis saw a young girl standing beside a puddle of what used to be ice cream. She was crying, which he knew was a sign of sadness. He decided to see if he could help her. After all, he had been practicing his interactions. Perhaps he would be able to do better in this one. He walked up to her and looked down at the small girl. "Is something the matter?"
She looked up at Beis with big tear filled eyes. "M-my my my MY ICE CREEEEAAAAMMMM WAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The girl continued bawling while Beis put a hand to his chin. He had to think of a way to stop her crying. It was the ice cream that had caused her to cry in the first place. It falling to the ground caused her some sort of pain. He then knew what he had to do. Beis motioned for her to follow. "Come along."
A few minutes later, the girl was walking down the street, licking her ice cream contentedly. She waved to him as she ran down the street back to her house and Beis waved back. It seemed this experiment had yielded desireable results. Perhaps he should just buy ice cream for every sad person he meets... Beis shrugged to himself and continued to his home.
