W hen slumber and silence had claimed the small boy known as Miumi, he had been within the Inn of the Guado city managing to just pay for his room before he remembered blacking out on the bed. Through his slumber, he had flashes of dreams and memories that had long since come and gone, while it caused him to cringe at some of them. One became more vivid as he was sucked within his own memories, the sound of his feet clicking against the ground was loud within his ears, he could hear his own quickened breathing above that but it was faint. As he was running down a long spire of stairs. The sound of yelling coming from above him, demons had invaded his home through the air. As he ran they came closer and managed to pin him to a wall, their clawed hands dug sharply into his neck before another demon from his domain saw Miumi, He remembered seeing the wolven man charge forward and tackle them to the ground. It's skin morphed into human like skin it was his father like figure Lucied, many knew him as Lucied the wolf of desire. Quick behind his father was his loving assistant and his demonic wife. It was Claudia who many called a vampire, as she drunk blood instead of the fine wine the castle had to offer. As she came over just gently leading Miumi away from it and treating his wounds as they walked. "Mommy will be right back okay."
" Mother, don't leave me please now "
W hen he spoke a young guado entered his room and awoke Miumi from his slumber by poking him with long disfigured nails. As he was awoken Miumi smiled softly as he slowly was stirring looking at the guado offering a gentle smile and the boy was soon up and ushering the man from his room. As he fixed his self. Doing his hair into a long elegant bun, which was very intricate but soon he reached down unzipping his leather jacket feeling the small cuts. He would have to buy a new one soon at the rate he went. As he slowly ran a basin of warm water. He just washed his face a few times, awakening himself and he would smile within the mirror showing fangs. As he walked towards the door he made sure his demonic features were hidden as he held a small bag on his shoulder, he would walk out the Inn holding a small teddy bear as he sat on a small bench. By the exit which lead to a small forest. He was waiting for something and he spoke softly as if he expected no one to here his voice. But knowing his luck some unfortunate soul would hear the sound of Miumi's childish voice and feel like it was their job to follow him along his journey. So many others had walked down that path and ended up helping make Miumi a good deal stronger. He grew along his journey a low class mage but his power was devastating.
"I wonder if I'll have another traveling companion. "
H e spoke but he was petting a small bear within his lap affectionately.
"Thank you Mi-lord." . "

Why? We were just out and about, and I would like to rest a bit
We meant out of this place, we're getting bored
We need money for that, and you have been very expensive to please lately Daimon. Any reason why?..... Fine I thought I saw a inn further up. We'll have to change back before we leave the forest.
*Draco had been lazily lying in a branch, where sun light broke though just enough to hit his entire body, but keep his eyes from the sun. He had been up hunting most of the night, though this area didn't bring much a challenge, or anything new at that matter. Draco was also in his quarter form, looking like his beast form just without any of the enhanced abilities. His grey skin looking silver in the sunlight. Draco admired this body, it was elegant yet at the same time. It was also unique, but it wasn't his. He was human, this also was not the body of Daimon, it belonged to no one, and yet it took both Draco and Daimon to make it. He sighed as he was analyzing hie clawed hand. He twisted his body, and rolled off the branch he was on, as he fell he grabbed the branch and used his momentum to swing to another branch. *
*He continued through the forest, with such ecstacy that when he reached the edge he just couldn't make himself change back. This was unusual, it takes both Daimon and Draco to turn, but if one doesn't want to it makes it close to impossible to change, but Daimon was just fine with changing* What's wrong? Are we enjoying the sensation too much?
Yes, I used to be too worried about my actions, and having to concentrate on not slaughtering whole cities. Now that you are being so much more cooperative I am enjoying this form. I have an idea
*Draco runs farther from town a bit, and opens his pack. He brought out his trench coat, and bandana. Doning them on with the rest of his gear, he pulls up his collar to cover his face up to his nose. Now anyone who saw him would think he was just a shady character, unless they were close enough to see hie eyes. Those eye, they were the same no matter what form he took. he repacked up his gear, and headed back for town.*
*As Draco walked into the town he noticed an inn, and started heading into it's direction. He was farely close to the building, almost getting ready to enter whe he heard a voice. A whisper amongst the confusion of morning nioses, but for some reason this voice rang loud in Draco's skull, saying*
"I wonder if I'll have another traveling companion. "
*Draco turned at the noise, a little too quickly some people made a small berth who saw it. Draco saw a small boy on a bench sitting there with a stuffed animal*
What was up with that?
He isn't normal. I think we should answer his thought.
*Well if Daimon thought it was ok, actually it seemed like he really wanted to do this. So Draco sat next to the boy. Not saying anything. He put his hands behind hi head, and closed his eyes* ---------------------------------- WC: 585 Exp: 58.5
A s the world around Miumi seemed to tick by almost in slow motion, as he watched a few of the guado children laugh and giggle their voices slightly higher then one expected causing Miumi to just gently rub his ears when one spoke to him for a prolonged period of time. As he watched a few hume children began to play with something they called a blitzball he smiled softly as it fell by his feet he just rose for a brief moment he saw the other's shady figure out of the corner of his eye. Miumi would throw the ball up and push off at the same time as he did. Miumi did a back flip as his weight was transferred suddenly his foot slammed into the blitzball with a loud thud, as the ball began to soar quickly down the street the children waved and giggled. As Miumi came down he let his shoot out catching the ground and the boy slowly stared at the other before his legs went one way causing him to arch much like a bridge and the rest of his body shot up. While Miumi remained without speech seeming to observe the other rather non-chalantly but something was off, he noticed the eyes they were so strange for some reason much like Miumi's own but so much different. He had a desire to see what the other's face looked like but that would come soon enough as he noticed the other's meaty hands.
As the skin caught the light it seemed to almost shimmer but Miumi noticed that the skin was disconfigured grayish color, it had reminded him of his room at one point the walls of stone that never seemed to give way no matter how mad he got. How he would get lost within the castle walking down endless corridoors with Ayamu. The sight of demons dying and the smell of blood filled Miumi's nostrils. He couldn't change the past or the present but Miumi could attempt to change the future. As Miumi had begun a long adventure towards the isle of Besaid where he would one begin a journey so few ever bothered going upon. In the time he had been here he had seen little to no summoners. But for the peace they wanted so badly there needed to be people who were willing to put their own lives on the line to preserve the lives of others. Miumi was one of the selfless ones his journey had begun in the land of the dead. Zanarkand, where many summoner's journey's ended while he had traveled from there to the Calm Lands where he had lived with a small couple for a year. From there when they died, he had travelled through the Calm Lands, to the forest, to the planes of ice and now he had passed through the lightning planes with another male. Yet in a way he had only taken the first few true steps within his journey yet he was so happy, he had already made new friends.
Miumi stood as if he had been turned into a statue, the look of gentleness that surrounded him was so pure it may of even repulsed those of wicked nature, while he just stood there his eyes were filled with a blank look as if he wasn't even there. His body quivered slightly and he began to walk back towards the bench. But his movements were unnatural it was like he was within a trance. As he walked closer he hit the bench with a loud thud as his leg hit it, while he showed no signs of pain he turned and sat down. As he sat there Miumi was reliving memories. The yeti from the snow planes and the gently gestures of the woman who had found him, the way she had been so calm and caring even though she knew what he had been. The man from the forest who had lended him a bracelet which had accelerated his healing greatly. Then there was the man from the thunder planes who had managed to protect him from the the various fiends which had threatened to tear them apart. While pain coursed through his body now as slowly he came back his head twisted ever so slowly towards the other. Starring at the gray skin he offered a smile, Miumi was acting strange today he noticed that himself maybe the emotional toll was coming down or maybe he wanted to be free. Miumi didn't speak to the other yet.
Soon, Miumi rose the pain in his leg had faded as he came back he offered another smile and grabbed the other's hand there wasn't much for vocal with Miumi. He was more of the action speak louder then words, and sometimes words weren't needed. Despite being rather tiny the other would probably feel a rather hard tugging on his arms. Miumi had the strength of some lesser ronsos. As he smiled softly before slowly his lips would finally crack to reveal pointed fangs and a tongue that was tracing them. Thin trails of saliva connected each thing together but he seemed so calm and natural as he pulled just a little harder. It was obvious that Miumi wanted the other to come along. Since after about thirty seconds of tugging he let go and would begin to walk away. The other had left his teddy bear there for a reason though as Miumi walked he stretched his limbs. For a brief moment the other might of seen the flash of the other's tail or even notice that Miumi had no ears. Well Miumi had them but they were hidden under hair do their animalistic nature. As the boy kept walking he stopped and spoke to a few guado before the bear turned it's head looking at the man, it spoke clearly and softly. Barely even audiable to the man who was sitting less then two feet away from him. But the tone that the bear used was strong and slightly fear inducing.
"Mi lord wants you to come with him, he has a long journey ahead of him..."
W hile the bear was speaking, the small threads which normally sew his mouth shut were coming unwound rather quickly as then the eyes of the bear began to twitch rolling around much like a human's did but they changed to a tone that was somewhat like Miumi's eye. As the bear leapt upwards the sound of metal clicking when it hit the ground meaning that the bear was armed. As it began to walk there were glimmers of an illumination like blade which would be seen. As he walked the other might notice that there was a small chain connecting the bear to the boy. As he got closer the bear smiled at his lord and leapt upwards with the force of an athlete. As it landed on Miumi the two shared a quick smile and a glance towards the other offering a small wave, as Miumi turned back to the guado bowing his head in respect while he would disappear down the path. Exiting the very city he had been within going into the forest while as he walked out of the circle which was nothing but roots and earth as he got out of viewing distance, Miumi reached up undoing his hair and shaking his head revealing wolven ears which were pierced in four different spots with gems of different value. As he let out an almost feral groan as he stretched his limbs. He was waiting to see if the other followed but some fiends would rather see if he could fight.
As a bomb like fiend began to fly towards Miumi, it would be with the sound of the ground cracking, as Miumi focused his magical energy into his feet for once he pushed off the ground flowing above the beast as his foot slammed down it exploded with ice flowing everywhere, while the ice then shattered. The fiend he had hit despite being made of fire seemed to groan loudly before it's body hit the ground with a near sickening thud. The thing was dead that much was obvious. As Miumi stood there he walked over to a small stump of a fallen tree and sat down, the gentle natures of his movements contrasted greatly against his combat skills but they were all the more devastating because of his grace.
" Will he come?"
A s Miumi asked the bear spoke in an ancient wise voice...
*Draco watched this small child with great interest, as he played some silly game with a ball. He studied the boy when he did a back flip kicking the ball with some measure of force. When the boy had finished his display Draco turned his vision as to only see the boy in the corner of his eye.Draco could see the boy just standing there, maybe observing Draco, but he stood so still, as if his mind were miles away. The boy began to re-approach the bench. He saw, and heard the boy hit his leg against the bench, and not react to it, other than just sitting down.*
*Draco just kept sitting there nonchalantly, until the boy, who was looking directly at him, gave Draco a smile*
Well he must be the one who said that, but why hasn't he said anything?
......patience...
That's all you have to say? Usually you have no problem voicing your opinion. Now you seem to feel the need to be cryptic?
*After having no thought in response Draco scowled, luckily he had his collar over his face, otherwise the boy would have thought he might be scowling at him. Draco now looked at the boy, hoping that maybe now the boy would explain himself, but instead the boy did something as if to test his patience. As Draco turned and looked at him the boy simply got up and started walking away*
Well I guess he didn't want anything. Man I am in no mood for games. I just want to do a job, and get out of here. Maybe we should go back home, you know. Enjoy the quietness, and place where everything make sense.
*Daimon kept up his hiatus of not speaking which seemed to just test Draco's nerves more. No matter how much he would deny it, Draco liked it when Daimon spoke. It helped him think things through more, and also gave him the sense of security for if they were in real danger Daimon would know it. This thought pissed Draco off even more. Out of all the times Daimon's perpetual twisted words had made him involuntarily change, and make him so confused. Draco also suspected Daimon was the reason Draco was abandoned as a child. Now the one time he would like his advice he had to be silent. These feelings drew much deeper than this instant. It seemed anytime Draco had to rely on the help of the demon, he would just fail him, or make the situation ten times worse.*
*With very bitter feelings Draco, was about to enter the inn, to find a job, and hopefully kill some people, then make his way back home. Amongst all this inner turmoil, Draco hadn't noticed that the boy had in fact no walked away. The boy began pulling on Draco's arm, which shocked him out of his brooding of Daiomon. The first thing he realized was the boy's strength. The boy smiled, and Draco noticed his teeth, perfect, white, and sharp....just like his. He sat there as the child pulled him, after about thirty seconds the boy turned and began walking away. Draco saw the boy had no ears, then he thought to his own, and how his seemed in a different place then normal humans, also he had the ability to move, unlike humans.*
*Draco considered following the boy, when the lack of Daimon's voice made a realization come upon Draco*
He's like us isn't he?.... Answer me!
...in time...
*Draco was about to give Daimon a mental scorning, when he noticed the child had left their stuffed animal on the bench. A few things ran through his mind. should he grab the toy? Maybe that would offend him. Should he alert the boy? Maybe the boy didn't care. Should he just leave it? As these thoughts went through Draco's head, the bear spoke. Now Draco had seen many weird things in his travel so this didn't really startle him.*
"Mi lord wants you to come with him, he has a long journey ahead of him..."
*Draco sighed inwardly about how indirect people were these days. Draco wished people were more direct, it made things so much simpler, and saved time. Draco was about to answer the stuffed animal, when it got up to and seemed to follow his master, and they started leaving town into the forest. Draco inwardly debated, and didn't even care at this point if Daimon had anything to add. Another thought crossed his mind. He thought he could hear every thought Daimon had, but somehow the demon was sealing the thoughts up, and Draco wondered if he could do that to. Draco decided to get up and follow the bear, and child.*
There is a fiend ahead, a bomb.
*Draco didn't give a retort as he exited the city into the forest. At least he still warned Draco. This comforted Draco, because Daimon hadn't abandoned him. Draco took this time to quickly change into his full beast form, which all that changed was his physical abilities. He continued walking till he could smell the bomb, and another. Draco shot a look into the direction, and saw the child from before crash into the fiend, and kill it in one hit. Draco took into account the ears, which he did have. Draco approached, and discarded his covers revealing his pointed ears, almost animal like, but pointed. The left one had a few studded earrings in it. Draco also had a tattoo around his left eye which just seemed to be random shapes, and marks. Draco also took off his shirt, because it bothered him when he was in his beast form. This revealed another tattoo, that was at about the middle of his torso. This one seemed to be a cross between a bull and a goat, it was just the shape of the head though. Two horns spiraled off the head non-symmetrically. Draco stared at the boy. He had come, now it was the boy's turn to speak* -------------------------------------------------- WC: 1055 Exp:105.5 Total:1640wc/1640
W hile Miumi sat on the log gathering the energy he had lost during that quick battle, his breath was still even but there was a hint of fatigue within each breath. It was obvious Miumi had to work no his control not to mention only maybe hours ago that he had been passed out from both mana exhaustion and blood loss. Everyone believed taking a journey was some kind of magical experience it wasn't magical at all it was simply another brief moment of life with more suffering. Those who chose to stay still within life normally lasted longer. As he lay his head gently against a tree bringing his legs up onto his log as he relaxed he seemed so peaceful as a dreamy like quality came across his face. He was still so tired if he was going to lay down there was no doubt about it he would end up passing out. As the world around him began to black at the edges, As his mental mind began to fight against the fatigue. It was making it worse and soon his own mental thoughts felt distant it was like he was on some drug again. While that grogginess quickly clear as suddenly he saw the fiend. He tried to move his own limbs they felt heavy for some reason it was as if his mind was alert but his body as asleep. Within the time it took the fiend to get closer Miumi had barely brought his arms up in a way to defend himself.
Then suddenly his eyes would widen the world around him came back, that fiend had used a sleep spell on him, he had planned to kill Miumi, as his energy began to quickly return it was like he had just drank a few bottle of elixir and now he was on a health high. As the image replayed itself within Miumi's mind he just saw a flash of something and the fiend was gone it slowed down within his mind until he saw the other. He smiled lightly the other did care atleast slightly about his well being as the bomb like fiend now lay on the ground dead. Slowly Miumi rose up onto his numb limbs. Despite the sharp beats of pain which flew up and down his legs he just kept moving it was obvious that he was trying to get the blood back down into his lower body. While he offered a small smile to the other he blushed slightly though turning his head away as the other began to strip. It was just a little awkward to watch so he focused on a bug on the ground when he finally though the russeling of clothing had stopped it hadn't been a full strip though so he slowly turned not knowing what to expect. A small look of shock crossed Miumi's normally stotic face for once there was more then just a fake smile or a real one there was a look of genuine interest.
Miumi's eye was driven to observe the other's rather strange body, his ears were more animalistic and much large due to his body size. As Miumi stared at it looking at the series of piercings which were studded and apparently seemed to dwarf Miumi's ones. As Miumi's eyes travel towards the other's eyes. They were so strange and abstract while the tattoo seemed to add. As Miumi stared almost as if he was entranced. The tattoo seemed to just be wispyness filled in with random marks and shapes, some reminded him of the claw paths of fiends. While as Miumi's gaze began to gently slid towards the other's chest, he noticed a goat like tattoo which caused MIumi to stare ever so slightly it was so interesting to look at it. That was his branding as Miumi slid his shoulder ever so slightly turning away from the other. The other would see Miumi's tattoo was so strange. It was an almost cryptic message. Tattered angelic wings, which had faded colors and they had strange tendrils flowing down the sides. Miumi seemed to be okay with this as he pushed off the ground spiraling around. When his foot hit the ground. He just smiled waving curtly to the other. His movements told the other to follow him. As Miumi pivoted to face the other way MIumi relaxed and suddenly his body took off, his movements were swift and elegant. As he took off down the path he waved to the other he seemed to be going to the river which was near by.
((Sorry for being out for so long, holidays you know? Um also sorry for the short post little rusty))
*Draco watched as this being like him seemed to flow with such elegance, grace, and power that it seemed impossible to possess in one body. Draco was slightly thrown off by this display as the other started leading away towards what seemed a river. Draco could tell this by smell and hearing*
Who is this guy? Where does he come from?
*Draco waited a few moments before giving up on Daimon. He still seemed to be sticking to his vow of silence that he had made when he had first sensed the other being. Draco called out to the boy, who could very well be older than Draco, as he followed him* "Shouldn't we have a proper introduction if we are to venture together?" -------------------------------------------------- WC:130 Exp:13 Total: 1770wc/177
W hile after a while, that panther like speed that Miumi was capable of began to slowly slow down, he wasn't exactly tired but he was interested in something, there were things laying within the water, they were ancient pieces of machines, this was what the people of Yevon called Machina, for some he felt drawn to grow closer. As he just smiled and turned to face the other. Slowly Miumi began to peel off a few layers of clothing the shirt that was beneath the leather vest sliding the vest itself back on, it would of weighted him down. As Miumi looked at the other it was obvious that Miumi seemed to want to go under, as the other asked a question, there were many answers to that question, who Miumi truly was, some knew as "the shadow, crimson death, the arcanist." He had never truly truly sat there and asked himself who he was. As he stood there silently he brought a smile to his face. There were many things he was and many things that he wasn't but Miumi thought back to what he had been called by the woman who he had abandoned not that long ago, after she died. His name was Miumi, he was a lucavi but slowly Miumi's gentle voice pierced the air. It was just above a whisper. It was so strange to know that Miumi was so shy about his own identification.
"I am Miumi...."
O nce he had spoken, suddenly he waved and pointed to the things below the water. Miumi pushed off the ground Ayamu following him in, the bear was resistant to the water it seemed as the two dived into the water, it was cold like the breath of death, while it held some warmth it was far more chilly then he had expected. As a thin layer of goosebumps flew across his milky white skin. As Miumi shook his head once or twice getting water out of his ears or from the inner parts. He just smiled as he took a breath and bean his adventure to explore. As Miumi took a dive under, his black hair flared around him like a veil of shadows. His milky body came upwards until his legs were revealed and then they too would disappear into the depth. As Miumi was swimming, their were fiends that could be seen in the distance, they were basic weaker fiends but they would probably attract something stronger given the chance. As Miumi seemed to ignore their presence, the piranha like fish began to notice Miumi, their stomachs growling they were hungry. While the depth soon began to grow and Miumi could feel the weight on his body as he saw a pillar, his body would disappear within it, the fiends following him, he could sense there was an air pocket, how long it had been there was unknown, as he just smiled and disappeared through a thin crack.
It connected to an under ground cavern, which was like a basin almost for the air and water. As Miumi came up for air his breath was sharp but not paniced, the fiends were still trying to worm their way through the cracks it seemed. As Miumi looked up there were symbols he didn't know what they meant engraved upon the ceiling. As he looked up they seemed to glitter temptingly. As he just slowly swam his way over towards the edge where a thin strip of land was visible. he would stroke the wall ever so slightly. There were machine parts laying near his feet. They seemed to twitch occasionally but Miumi dismissed it into being just a trick of his mind. As Miumi lookd at the symbol, he just sat there and stared in wonder kicking his feet back and forth the only light came from the moss above him, it was glowing a faint blue hue. He wondered if Draco would follow him into the world of wonders. It was a worthless but beautiful sight to see. As Miumi brushed the parts of metal and steel away from him, one of them twitched causing Miumi to stare, could it be those things were still alive. As he just looked down at the water her saw something move, it was one of the Pirhana's having managed to wedge it's body half way through the crescent hole. This was going to be a long journey if Miumi kept taking small little detours.
"I It's so pretty."
H e spoke but he was petting a small bear within his lap affectionately.
*Draco followed suit when he saw Miumi dive under. Draco unslung the pack he was wearing, and dove in after the other being. Draco had enjoyed swimming, but at most found it a waste of time. Fish had always been superior to him in deep water, so since he couldn't hunt here he didn't do it very often. Then again since he had rejoined society he had picked up many strange, and pointless activities.
*Draco could see Miumi ahead of him, swimming deeper and deeper. As they swam along Draco could sense others beings around, but none stood out to him as any danger, though pretty soon their numbers started making Draco a little wary. Miumi, though seemed unafraid, so Draco continued following, unwavering.
Soon In the distance Draco could see a tower in the murk. He could see Miumi was aiming for it, so just followed. Draco noticed all these strange fish around him. He didn't like the way they looked, and again he knew they were superior to him in this environment, so when he saw the crack in the wall he quickly swam for it.
When he entered the cave Draco saw Miumi already sitting on the small stretch of land, gazing about looking at the beauty and wonder of this hidden place. Draco pulled himself right up next to Miumi and sat there with him. With wet hair, Draco's horns and ears popped out. He looked over at Miumi seeing his ears too. This made Draco feel a sense of belonging. He had never met someone like him before, though he knew they were out there, but to actually be with one, well this was the closest thing he would ever know to having a family. Draco saw the teddy bear in Miumi's lap*
"Hey Miumi, not to be intrusive, but what's up with the bear?" *Draco usually wasn't curious, well at least not out loud, but being with Miumi, someone like him, being in this place. This place, bathed in blue light, small metal machine parts. It all seemed magical. Draco having grown up in nature had seen his fair share of beautiful places, and he loved seeing more. He found no pleasure in looking at the accomplishments that people had built, but rather what nature had carved itself taking many years to sculpt. Even though Draco was curious to the answer of his question he had encased his attention on his surroundings*
