A soft look fear slowly began to cross Miumi's face as he managed to escape from the domain known as the woods, they were beautiful and awe-inspiring almost as if someone had taken all that time to craft something so beautiful. He could still feel the limbs of the crystallized plants beneath his hands and the feeling of that butterfly tickling his skin, in a world where things were distorted for once he wasn't the monster but another innocent child. As he just slowly stepped from the light of the woods, the glowing silver of the forest was fading more and more with each step and soon all he was aware of was the darkness in the sky above him, a roar of thunder crashed above the sky causing Miumi to flinch in response and then he felt it his hairs stood on end and he remembered pushing off the ground suddenly his body moving like he had done this so many times before, he had leap forward as he did a bolt of lightning flew down behind him. As he looked at the ground a small indent from the flame was left , it made him cringe in fear. As he kept moving swiftly till he saw a tower, he would crouch under it's structure as he did he seemed so peaceful. He could hear them, the fiends that roamed this plane, they were almost laughing at him in their strange tongues. But he could of sworn he had seen a giant bird in the sky when he had entered.
His comfort was short lived, as slowly a rough wind began to flow through the air causing Miumi to cringe as the cold ran across his body like thousands of hands, if to make matters worse suddenly the sound of small pops and ticks as the rain began to break from the sky pouring down. In a few minutes the ground below him became slightly muddy as Miumi rose upwards he cupped his hands noticing a small building in the distance. He remembered running the bolts of lightning he would pivot around gracefully, but when he was within ten feet he was struck by a single bolt, it didn't kill him but had stunned him, he remembered being dragged into the inn by someone. They placed him in a bed and he laid there, aware of the world but incapable of thought or movement, as his eyes slowly closed as they cast a spell on him, around an hour later he wold awaken from his slumber. Parts of his nerves were still recovering as he just slowly began to stand up. At first he fell to the ground with a loud thud which caused someone to enter the room and check on him. They walked over and slowly helped Miumi to his feet and guided him to a small chair in front of the mirror. It was obvious that this person seemed to believe that Miumi was truly a female. He just smiled at them revealing his white teeth and a few fangs which they didn't seem to notice.
"Thank you... I will be fine for now, I just need a few moments."
H e spoke softly his voice was gentle and still held a feminine tone, the person looked at him for a moment unsure but slowly they nodded their head. Before walking out of the room locking the door behind them as Miumi sat in front of the mirror, they had found his supply of things and even provided him with a few. As he sat there grabbing the small brush in front of him and began to run it carefully through his hair aligning ones that had fallen out of places as well as cleaning off the small dry pieces of mud, he sat there for a few minutes cleaning his hair out. Slowly he would rise looking at his attire he was sick of this outfit for now pulling off the black shirt and the rest of his clothing keeping on the tights, slowly he reached into his bag pulling out a simple looking yukata like outfit. It was as black as night that he had worn before but it had floral designs running down it as Miumi stood there within the thing he slide on his shoes and the undershirt slowly pulling the sash tight around his waist. Slidding his bangles around his hands gently moving them a few times hearing the reassuring clink, meaning his hearing hadn't gone completely. His ears still hummed slightly. He adjusted his pendent slightly grabbing his satchel and his teddy bear they had taken the time to clean.
"I wonder how long I was out."
As he slowly walked down a thin hall way, he could faintly here murmurs from other rooms as he noticed a tan looking man with blonde hair at the entrance he kind of lost track of where he was and stumbled into someone. At that moment his teddy bear awoke and slid from his hands falling to the ground and slowly rising up.
His day had started fairly slowly, he woke this time in Moonflow, he had originally intended to head straight out to Guadosalam but he could not bring himself to depart from this place just yet. No, the last time Ignis had, had the chance to simply sit and enjoy the scenery had been far too long ago, before his days with. He put a hand up to his forehead and closed his eye gently, the effects of his trip here had still not abated entirely so he was having some difficulty remembering certain details of his time in his previous "life" as it were.
"Ah, what does it matter? It'll all come back to me sooner or later anyway." He said, louder than intended to himself as he simply stood and stared, marveled by the beauty that this small and silent place could manage, in fact, he would have to say that this place was right up in his top three. Though what the other two places in that said category were eluded the young warrior right now. Though once again he shrugged to himself, as he had already said, it would eventually all just fall back into place.
He eventually left The Moonflow an indeterminate amount of time later, that place was so tranquil, so serene that it was the only place that Ignis could really lose himself in, he made a note to himself that this would be the kind of place he would settle down in once he reached the elder stage of his life. Here, he would be able to live undisturbed, and since it was not a place of his original "home" he was free of the terrors that the Witch Hunts and Drake Slaughters were more than likely still existing there at the hands of the power hungry human horde. He hung his head as he walked, the trip here had not taken away his memories of that night as he watched the woman whom had devoted one hundred years of her life to raising him simply burst into flames before his very eyes.
"But still...." He shook his head sharply and looked on wards in determination, it was not his fault she had died, she had been burned for being a dedicated healer, and he had made that particular kingdom see their folly as he raised them. Though the exact details of how exactly he had managed that had been hazy ever since the incident. He remembered what. The-Man-With-Blue-Hair had said, refusing to divulge any details to Ignis he just kept telling him that it was "impressive", not that Ignis thought the exact details would help him much in his present situation anyway, he highly doubted that he would remember any of them right now anyway. He adjusted the bandanna covering his right eye, at least he remembered why he was wearing it, since he did not want to go removing it in a populated area.
The rest of his trip to Guadosalam was uneventful, and to Ignis, somewhat of a downer, he felt. Bad that he was going to be leaving this place, even if it was just for a while. Through Guadosalam, the unique architecture and polite population, although nice, paled when compared to what Ignis thought of The Moonflow. Ignis spent very little time there, stopping only to gather his wits as he tried to remember his way around this small town. Through a small series of winding tunnels and then out in a large open plain where it rained next to constantly.
"Ugh. I just HAD to come this way." He muttered, almost darkly to himself as he raised his hood to keep his hair dry. Ignis, despised the rain for reasons he was never able to explain, perhaps that was in part down to what lie under the human facade he walked around in. Though, in all honesty he had never really thought too much on it, he did not believe in racial stereotypes, he figured that his hatred of the rain was just something he had always held, in fact he remembered the woman he had once called mother hated the rain. He smiled.
"Heh, learned traits. Gotta' love 'em." He muttered to himself in a somewhat warmer tone. He headed toward the building in the center of the plains, he planned on waiting there for a short while while he waited for the rain to at least ease up, maybe that would cheer him up. He saw someone walking for the same destination, well, at least he may have someone other than the dull inn keepers to talk to. It happened fast, too fast for him to even think of calling out to warn the traveler. They were struck by lightning and fell to the ground, Ignis did not stand around, no, he was not going to simply laugh at the persons misfortune, they needed help.
He ran as fast as his human legs would carry him, he reached the unfortunate soul and stood blinking for a second. It took him a few seconds to figure out that it was a man, or male at least, he thought back as he hoisted one of the guys arms over his shoulder. No, Ignis could not remember seeing such a feminine looking man. Ever. But then again, there could be any number of reasons for that, Ignis was not going to judge, since there really was no need to.
"Well, come on then dude. Lets get ya out of the danger zone." Well, in this his current state there was little use even trying to talk to the guy, Ignis knew as much, but then again it would help in the long run in keeping the guy sane, especially after being hit by lightning. He kicked the door to the inn open, immediately attracted the attention of the two guys behind the counter.
"This dude's just been hit by lightning, he needs help." The larger of the two guys picked the unconscious guy up in his arms and turned to leave through a door.
"Ok there little man. I'll make sure she's safe." Ignis heard what the guy said and tried to correct him.
"He's a dude!" The lack of response told Ignis that the guy had just ignored him, he shrugged, maybe the inn keep would learn his lesson in due time. The guy had barely been gone a few seconds when he came back into the foyer and asked.
"You know any healing magic?"
"Well, no." Ignis replied.
"Fantastic, come with me." Ignis soon found himself in the room with the guy on the bed, the inn keep had left quickly, leaving Ignis stood rooted to the spot. he shook his head, the best he would be able to do here is to gently heat the guy so that his body would relax, he would go to sleep for a few hours which would allow a faster recovery. Ignis shrugged, well, he guessed that it was better than nothing, so he knelt next to the bed, and enveloped his entire body in fire, gently raising the temperature of the room.
"Heh, dude's gonna get a nasty shock when he tries his moves I'd bet." Ignis muttered to himself as he finished up, standing he extinguished the flames, leaving nothing burnt, turned and left, back in the hallway he was met by the same guy that had asked Ignis if he knew any healing magic earlier.
"Hey thanks for that. Mind if I take the credit?" Ignis rolled his eye and stood silently for a moment before simply saying.
"Be my guest dude." He made a random mental note that he hated the way his voice sounded as a monotone, the inn keep slapped him on the shoulder and led him into a small bar through one of the side doors in the hallway. Over the next few hours Ignis sat speaking to these two men, learning bits and pieces of their days work, they were fairly common people, somewhat dull, yet kept Ignis from being too bored just by being entertaining to speak to.
"I'm gonna' check on Sleeping Beauty." Ignis finished off the small drink in his hand and called out once more as the guy left through the door.
"HE is a DUDE!" Once more the lack of a response confirmed that Ignis had once more been ignored, he looked over to the second man, the man whom had identified himself earlier as "Dave", All too common.
"The hell is with him?"
"He's gonna get himself some."
"Kay bud, bet ya 500 Gil that he comes back in here red in the face, and tells us that his 'Sleepin' Beauty' is dude." Dave thought for a moment and then accepted with a handshake, sure enough, not thirty seconds later the first of the two men, "Tim" came back into the room, his face red, and exclaimed in a loud tone.
"It's a man!" Ignis sat on the bar stool with a smug little smile on his face, held out an open hand. Defeated Dave handed over the money and sat in silence, Ignis got to his feet and stretched, his unnatural human skeletal structure cracking loudly.
"Shoulda' listened to me guy. Not that this ain't been fun, but I got places to go. Later guys." He strode to the door and was out of the small room, he closed the door behind him just in time to see someone walk into him and fall to the ground. Ignis did not need the time to figure out who it was, he merely smiled.
"Ahh, you're up now are ya dude." Ignis held out his hand, to help the guy up, and that talking. Doll, sure was an interesting little oddity. Yup definitely, either this guy was a very talented mage, or not human, one of the two. However, Ignis was not going to address him with that, he had no need to.

He just smiled at them revealing his white teeth and a few fangs which they didn't seem to notice.
"Thank you... I will be fine for now, I just need a few moments."
W hen Miumi spoke, the pause in between his words, seemed to help reveal his fatigue also the faintness of his voice as if he was using all his energy just to keep standing, as slowly he turned to face them and offered a curt wave, as the wind and rain began to splash against his body, a few tenders looked as the door shut and turned to Ignis. Many of them stared with pleading eye before an elderly woman, who looked like she was about ready to die, would walk over and would stare at the other with her wise eyes, suddenly she spoke the woman's voice was very soft and caring almost like a mother and when she spoke her voice filled the air with a level of majesticness. "Please watch over my son." with those words she walked into the hallway towards a door and once she entered she seemed to disappear, briefly a few pyreflies could be seen lingering in the halls, could it be that woman was an unsent. Someone who had once been the mother of that adorable child, it was true that was Miumi's mother Sola Harou, he hadn't notice her among the crowd as an entire few months had passed and he had explored many new places. As Miumi stood quietly under the shelter of the building for a few moments. The rain was rather comforting in an awkward sense as Miumi extended his hand and felt the cool revitalizing rain splash against his skin.
A bright flash of lightning illuminated the darkened sky causing Miumi to cringe ever so slightly, it was followed by a rumbling that shook the ground, while in the distance Miumi could see various fiends who seemed to be looking around for their prey, as Miumi began to run full speed, he felt the ground beneath his feet fade away as he hide under a tower, actually crawling in a narrow crack when a fiend came by, he looke up he could see the complexed design, but the fiend knew where Miumi was and batted at the metal surface and it would begin to chip. As Miumi held out his hand suddenly the coldness as within the air and a fiend was sent flying back followed by pikes of ice, which impaled it in several different places. Slowly Miumi began to notice that often times lightning would hit the towers as they were higher up, so ever so slowly he crawled out of the tower, just in time to see the sky above him light up. As Miumi stood there looking around part of him wondered if anyone had followed him, and slowly Miumi slunk to the ground and would slid back into the tower, Slowly he closed his eyes. Noticing there were some branches and moss like stuff growing within the room, slowly he ripped some off and threw it one corner and placed his hands to the moss, they would ignite in flames. The soft glow could be faintly seen and Miumi's eye would close.
" Ayamu wake me up, soon okay?."
A s Miumi slowly reached into his satchel pulling out a spare large shirt folding it into a small pillow, Miumi closed his eyes ever so sligthly, as the warmth of the fire, the cackle of thunder and lightning laughing together at some hidden joke and the soft sound of the rain clicking against the side of the building, it was peaceful and serene, something that Miumi never truly saw, as slowly the world around him faded away and he drifted into sleep. A world of dreams enveloped him but this was a nightmare, As Miumi had returned from a long day of fighting fiends and helping people in the small nomadic village they lived within, he had come home to find his mother and father laying on the ground. At first Miumi thought they were just sleeping so he had tried to wake his beloved mother an father, but they were cold like they had died hours ago. Miumi had broken down in tears that day and cried till it hurt to move. Even in the real world Miumi was crying, as his hands clenched, but the teddy bear watched and began to gingerly stroke the right side of Miumi's face. It was obvious that fuzz-ball cared as the soft sniffling emerged from the child, slowly the boy went into the satchel finding a small blanket they had brought draping it over his master, he sat by the entrance and waited. Before he spoke softly his voice roared in the empty tower.
"Mi lord why must you try so hard??"

Ignis cocked an eyebrow at the guys sudden, and almost laborious departure, he clearly was in no condition to be walking around right now, yet it was his life, how he decided to throw it away was nothing to do with Ignis. He turned from the door as the guy left, taking note of the few new people whom had since entered the inn since Ignis had arrived, it was starting to get crowded, yeah, the fact that there were only about four new people was not the point. He made to turn away from the people, but there was some old woman walking toward him, she said one thing, and then left, leaving small floating green light behind her as she left through the door.
"Ahh, damn it." Ignis said quietly to himself as he had originally tried to follow the woman, only to find Pyreflies floating aimlessly about the air. Ignis had dealt with a few unsent beings before and knew better than to just merely ignore them, since one of two things usually happened if they were ignored, they would either keep pestering until their wishes were granted or would become vengeful, regardless Ignis figured that for the time being it would be best to do as was said. Besides he knew that he would have ended up feeling bad for the guy if he had died out there. Raising his hood in order to keep his hair dry Ignis stepped out of the doors and back out into the plains, looking around, in fact, spinning on the spot looking for the guy before heading off in the direction of the frozen forest.
"Damn it man, if you're past your limits don't go back into the storm." He sighed, walking almost blind to the guys location, in fact he was taken by surprise as a fiend suddenly landed at his feet, Ignis jumped back in shock, almost yelling as he did so. He began drawing in deep breaths as he looked down at the motionless body of the monster he noticed the icicles and sighed heavily, placing his hands on his knees, it was dead, that much was clear, however, that did not hide the fact that its sudden arrival had shocked Ignis.
"Well, the dude ain't completely defenceless, why'd she even want me to look after the guy?" He asked himself through each heavy breath he took, that was when he noticed it, the fiends all moving in the direction of a single lightning rod, or spire, Ignis had never known exactly what they were. He picked up the pace and ran closer to the spire, seeing there the guy sleeping, admittedly he was slightly safer than simply sleeping out in the open, but that was still a relatively dangerous place to be sleeping. Especially with so many fiends out looking for an easy target, it suddenly clicked.
"Now I see." Ignis mumbled to himself, running up as fast as he could to the fiend nearest the spire, threw himself to the ground and slid under its legs, summoning his guitar into his hands as he did so, the burst of fire caught the fiends legs and then soon took the rest of its body with it. With a harsh screeching sound it fell to the ground and convulsed as the flames continued to burn, some moments later it fell still and began to smolder. Ignis cast a half a glance back to the guy and rolled his eye.
"C'mon guy! This ain't the best place to be takin' a nap!" Another fiend drew close to both the spire and Ignis' position, of course it was a simple matter to putting it down for good, since his fire magic was much stronger than it should have been, however, Ignis did not kill it right away. He stood, with his arm raised in the air for a long while before he slammed it down on his guitar, sending a large orb of fire at his foe. The resulting explosion caught another two approaching fiends, incinerating them along with the first. he cast a glance back to the spire he was guarding, nothing had slipped past him just yet.
"Gee! DUDE! I know I ain't gonna be able to keep this up for an entire nap, get out here or send someone to give me a hand at least!"
A s the innocent looking demon lay as still as a mouse, as slumber had wrapped it's silky veils around the small child, it seemed that he wasn't in his top shape as using just a single spell had managed to exhaust him, while the fiends could sense the weakness that lay within their prey they hungered for the flesh of the living to create another fiend, but apparently that man would have nothing of it. As the boy lay there for the longest time until slumber had claimed him just as the other used flames to banish some of the fiends, their heat triggered a memory as a small flame licked Miumi's skin. As Miumi lay there a sharp gasp escaped his lips. When Miumi had awoken in his dream world, he saw a dark corridor, a small child like laughter was echoing from one end the opposite of him, he remembered walking towards it, there was a demon standing there, a smaller demon's head was within his hand and he was cackling maniacally. While it turned to face Miumi. Blood had long since stained it's hideous face causing normally black teeth to glisten crimson as the blood was beginning to dry. As it spoke it's hoarse voice "I will kill all the enemies." which echoed wickly in Miumi. He remembered feelign a fuzzy paw on his side and as the beast ran forward. Miumi remembered seeing the glint of desire within the other's eyes. He wished for Miumi to die so much.
The smell of death was glowing closer, as the other ran lines of crimson were following it's wake and as it extended it's arms it's long black claws dug deeply into the wall causing Miumi to flinch and step back quickly as if in fear but the bear stepped forward, when the beast looked down it saw the fuzzy teddy bear, but suddenly the blades were revealed in the bear and it lunged at the other clawing desperately at it's legs and arms. As it did the demon howled in pain and grasped blindly for the demonic little bear when he found him, he grabbed the bear by it's neck and squeezed, the bear squirmed for a few minutes before it went limp and the demon threw the bear to the ground by Miumi's feet. The eyes of the bear stilled showed life he had went limp on his own accord while, then a rage was awoken with Miumi, it burned like a fire that no one could contain as the beast lunged at Miumi. An orb of fire formed within Miumi's hand at the single thought it glowed dangerous. As if reflecting the flames of hell within Miumi's hand as the beast lunged from the ground. It flew towards Miumi but it would find the sphere connecting to it's head it screamed in pain until the flame exploded, the beast's head flew from it's bodies, fangs began to shower the ground. As Miumi stood there, there was no remorse there was no sympathy, there was only emptiness.
Slowly Miumi reached down grabbing the teddy bear from the ground, he remembered walking past the gorey mess he had made, stepping gently over the other's body, despite it's head missing it' body reached for Miumi it was trying to regenerate, while it's hand closed around Miumi's ankle and caused him to stumble. The heart was insight he remembered the sickening howl from the head as the final life line was broken. As Miumi kept walking he offered a single prayer to the small demon he found at the end. It had been like Miumi once frail and by the look it. This demon had just been created not so long ago. As he looked at the face of the demon, it was almost human like but had disfiguring scars from the other's nails. It had carved, the words hunger within the other's skull and it caused Miumi to flinch in response. But Miumi walked to a window near by he looekd out of it he could see other planes within his world. For a brief moment he saw the connecting tower, his father was there the man who had created him, was brandishing a huge axe and slaying any demon who came near the woman with him. She was busy using magic to keep them back. Those were the very people who have woven their magic, their life into bringing Miumi into this hellish nightmare which Miumi wanted to escape. This was the world that Miumi had been raised in.
Soon the dream began to blur loosening the fine pinnacle of the details, which provided Miumi with a small bit of his past. As he lay there softly on the ground, the sounds of war cries and blades clashing was fading away and he was becoming more aware of the other's cries for help and the feeling of life being pumped into him, the bear was transferring some of his own energy into Miumi. Slowly the boy's body began to rise as if held by invisible strings, turning towards the sound of battle, he watched as the other wove fire around slaying the fiends, but they were to much for just one. Slowly he began to raise from the ground his gentle nature of serenity seemed to fade slightly. As he moved uneasily at first stumbling slightly and crashing gently into the side of the spire. A smaller fiend had worked it's way into the tower. Miumi remembered hearing a crackle of thunder as it lunged and he just remembered pure instict as the beast came closer, he slammed his hands down upon it's head sending it down with a rather sickening crack. As it's body hit the ground it tried to move but Miumi stepped upon it's neck, it clawed the ground desperate to escape, desperate for that next breath of air. But soon that crunch and the protrusion of bone was obvious, but this time Miumi felt slight remorse for the beast. It showed he had changed since he had been free for his hell.
"Thank you Ayamu for that transfusion but be careful I can't lose you. Now assist that man."
W hen Miumi spoke those words, the demonic teddy bear would go down on one knee and bow it's head as it realized that Miumi was it's master. He smiled gently down at the teddy bear before the explosion the other produced, the flames flared in every which direction causing Miumi to duck down covering the teddy bear. While Miumi expected to feel a burning heat flying down his body but there was nothing. As slowly Miumi rose upwards again to hear the other's cry for assistance. he just slowly stretched his muscles and would yawn once. As Miumi slowly walked out from his temporary domain. As he stood as still as a statue he looked at the world, as he stood by the other's side suddenly Miumi took off, to the nearest fiend. The man would see Miumi's true capabilities. As Miumi pushed off the ground running in a zig-zag pattern for the first few steps shaking off the fatigue and getting the blood glowing. As a fiend growled and sent a bolt of lightning towards Miumi, his feet gripped the ground and he pivoted around it. While the fiend didn't look as happy as it seemed to click angerly. He pushed off the ground his hands crackled with energy as he charged a fire spell which flowed to his hands, he would clench his hands as the orb of fire formed, the flame was being compacted and being made all the more deadly. This was the beginning of this fiend end.
The giant metallic man seemed to groan with anger as it brandished it's weapon, it was easily triple or quadruble his height but this thing was going to go down, as he pushed off the ground his body flying up to the knee cap of the beast, as it noticed this it would attempt to swat Miumi away only managing to miss and cause itself pain. But as the the other began to swing. The man known as Ignis could see Miumi doing the impossibly awesome. This was Miumi's fighting style as he waited for that hand to come back, he pushed off the knee cap and flung himself to the other's arm. As Miumi felt weightless for a moment his hands closing on the metallic fingers. He just dangled there by one arm. As it was clenching his fist. He just kept climbing, as the slow metallic hand closed completely Miumi had just barely escaped. His heart was pounding as if there was a bomb going to explode within. As he just smiled and began to run quickly up the arm. There was the rumble of thunder, high in the sky, in the close distance there was a bright flash, which caused Miumi to freeze or a moment as the blinding light stunned him for a brief few moments. But then the fiend reach it's hand over closing them around Miumi and bringing him close to his face, letting out an maniacal laughter. This would be his mistake as Miumi revealed his pulsating blood red hand.
As the small boys pale hand connected with the other's thick, metallic head which would tilt backwards slightly at the force, giving a groan revealing that the demon was empty vessel meaning the armor was living, as the orb began to glow red hot suddenly a loud explosion could be heard as Miumi pushed off the other's head, the demon let out a loud groan as chips of metal and smoke filled his face. While Miumi began a quick descent towards the ground but he had brought the teddy bear solidifying their chain he quickly asscend it. As he focused on the demon's head he aimed his hand once. Charging so much energy into his hand for a brief moment. The coldness began to lap at the other's armor, as he focused a blizzard spell radiated within his hand it would hit the red hot armor's face and do more damage then usual and suddenly they could hear it, the loud crack of the metal which splintered off showering the ground. As the demon let out a final muffled breath as it began to fall towards the ground breaking apart as it did, quickly it's head and shoulders dispersed into pyreflies. While Miumi quickly adjusted his position as the beast began to fall back and decay. While the man would see Miumi sliding down it's massive legs quickly coming down upon another fiend. He remembered pushing off jumpkicking a fiend which was near the man. MIumi had showed he was useful to some degree.
The boy stood still, as he did the look of fatigue was there again, Miumi had exerted alot of energy just attempting to slay the massive knight like fiend, then he had also used alot of his mental energy using the spells. As he just looked at the other offering a smile as he walked closer standing against the other's back, a deliciously little teddy bear stood beside the other. As Miumi let out a slow breath it was obvious that Miumi was ready to continue his fight as he reached into his pocket pulling out a small potion of medicinal herbs. He closed his eyes and chugged it quite easily. As he did a rather sour look crossed the innocent boy's face but then the wild nature was there again as he felt energy flow through him. This was the truth behind those lies. As he stood there looking at the fragments of metal as they were broken down a few shards stayed though. As he just stood there there was a small look of fatigue in his eyes. They would need to get to the town of the Guado's soon or Miumi could be in a danger.
" Are you okay."
A s Miumi asked the bear spoke in an ancient wise voice...
"Stop trying so hard.!"

Ignis had been at the mid-point of a fight with some kind of fiend when the guy had finally come forward and entered the fray himself, so initially Ignis had not noticed his arrival at first, it was once he had killed the fiend and kicked the corpse into another oncoming fiend that he chanced a look back to see the guy actually up and about. Ignis nodded, adjusted his hood and went back to his task of almost mindless killing. Although he had to admit, that guy was an impressive fighter, the way he had taken down that first fiend was pretty good, but Ignis could match it.
Immediately he took a large step back, avoiding a cast water spell and slammed a note or two on his guitar, the sound was followed by the cast of a Fira spell, of course, owing to Ignis' affinity with the element the overall result was above that most would be able to accomplish with even a cast of Firaga, the Fiend was almost instantly incinerated, its ashes scattered to the harsh wind of the plain. Every so often Ignis cast a half a glance behind him. Just to make sure that the guy was doing alright. That was when he saw the latest foe the guy was up against.
"Holy shit dude!" He made to go and help the guy, but was soon caught by seemingly overwhelming odds of his own. These were rare fiends, roughly the same in appearance as Behemoth. Initially Ignis took a step away from the hulking menace, figured at first that it would probably be better to run.
No! He had overcome far worse odds than this! He remembered it now. It had been hazy at first, sitting at the back of his mind, nagging at him as he tried to remember exactly what it was that was sat just out of his proverbial reach, a small smile spread across Ignis' face as he took a step forward. Not only had he survived running, he had actually forced the guy to run from him on multiple occasions, he had in essence done multiple times what it took the. He had to try and remember what they had called themselves as he back-stepped another swing from this foe. Union of Gaia!
Another down ward strike came his way, this time Ignis dodged it to the side, grabbing his guitar by the end of its neck, he swung around and put his body weight into the momentum, the dull thud as the guitar hit the side of the beasts head seemed to echo as the creature reared back, roaring in agony. It was all the opening Ignis needed, he had already started running up the beats arm the second his hit had connected. A brief run and then a jump and he was on its head.
"SHIT! Bad idea!" He cursed as one of the clawed hands quickly grabbed him and moved him from his perch. He was violently shaken and dropped his guitar behind the beast, and then bought down to be level with its face. Immediately Ignis coated his hand with fire and placed his palm on the first part of the creature he could get to. He could tell that the effect was almost instant as smoke began rising from the point of contact and the creature suddenly fell silent. There was a moment of intensity and he was dropped, the beast rearing back howling as the intensity of the pain took its toll, Ignis smiled once more and struck a pose.
"Yeah! BITCH! Fire that ain't weak to water!" He yelled out, backing away as the enraged creature began to charge him, that was all he needed. He held and open palm out and simply waited, once the creature drew close enough the wave of fire caught both its eyes. Immediately it fell to the ground, that howl once again telling Ignis that the fiend was in pain, it was about time to put it out of the misery that he was rapidly placing it in. In its now blinded state the most it could do was swing blindly and hope to hit something.
"Gotta try better than that man!" It was perfect, its head snapped in Ignis' direction, making it seem as though the beast was looking straight at him. It began sluggishly making its way to what it would still be thinking of as prey, once more, Ignis gripped his guitar and swung it. This time the resulting blow to the side of the head disoriented the beast and allowed Ignis to get onto its head with minimal difficulty, there he held a pose.
"Nevah! Evah! Think that ya'll ever be the next. Mr. Buzzles!" And within the seconds to come to any simple onlooker it would seem as though this beast has spontaneously burst into flame, the reality of it was that Ignis was now stood on its head. Playing his guitar as fast as he possibly could, igniting the flames now covering the body of the once menacing beast and keeping them burning. The death was relatively quick, the creature falling to the ground within seconds to being set ablaze with Ignis soon back on the ground, turning just in time to see the guy finish off the "Iron Giant" he had been facing, so he, was impressive, at least this was not going to be a complete one-man slaughter.
As the guy leaped away from his kill Ignis was fast to strike out another few notes on his guitar, setting a ring of fire ablaze around the both of them as they now stood back-to-back. The ring incinerated some of the closer fiends, as well as the fiends that were caught by it directly, leaving only a small number to deal with.
"I'm fine dude. What about ya? Think ya can keep up?" He asked, not allowing any of the obvious enjoyment he was having right now dissipate as the ring of fire slowly began to weaken and soon after, fade completely.
"Not many left now guy. Lets try an' get this done quick."
A s Miumi landed beside the other, he could hear the music the other was playing, it actually soothed Miumi but once the ring of fire began to consume the fiends Miumi realized that after a while they would notice that this was killing them so slowly he began to push the other slightly, but then Miumi pushed off as the other asked a question he would see Miumi's body flow through the flames, he had moved so quick and was still moist from the rain that it had barely begun to steam as he came through the other end of the flames. While a rather strange fiend was standing before him it seemed to be a knight of a sort, it was probally from another world as Miumi stood there suddenly he lunged forward and slammed his hands into the other's face. As the beast growled and tried to bite Miumi, it hit the ground with a near sickening snap which filled the air. As it was obvious Miumi had broken it's neck with a simple blow such as that. As the beast growled and tried to move it only increased it's injury it was soon sickening as the beast spit out blood which was all over Miumi's hands. While as another monster came behind him it would find a foot connecting to it's stomach rather swiftly the sound of the contact filled the air followed by a crack of thunder. This was the battle that Miumi had grown up in.
As the ring of flames began to die down Miumi pushed off the ground doing a very interesting backflip over the large wall of flames landing on the ground within just as it began to fade completely. As he stood back to back with the elder. He smiled as once the flames completely disappear he focused charging his energy into his hand. The other might feel the stray sparks of energy flowing from Miumi hitting lesser fiends causing them to back away in fear. As Miumi's hair began to lift up it would tickle the man behind him as Miumi smiled. The small arcs of lightning could be seen flowing through Miumi's hair as the bright blue flashes went from strand to strand but then Miumi looked up at the fiends standing before him. As a rather large and mutated fang came forward. Miumi pushed off the ground suddenly the lightning light up the sky and as Miumi punched the beast, suddenly a sickening crackle was heard, then the beast seemed to explode, as Miumi caused him to heat up so much that his blood vessels had litterly exploded in an attempt to expand in sync. As body parts and chunks of meat rained down on the battlefield it brought to image what this boy was capable of as he stood there a look of tiredness was more obvious. While a fiend snuck up behind Miumi tackling him to the ground with a loud thud. Miumi remembered speaking once before he hit the ground.
"Ayamu Help...."
W hen Miumi screamed that out the bear turned around instantly looking for Miumi he saw the beast that was so massive in comparrison to the small child, as the bear suddenly felt his chains constricting as he began to run towards the boy a fiend was on them, but suddenly Ayamu spun around slicing the fiends neck wide open leaving blood pouring out as Ayamu turned to see the fiend leaning closer to Miumi's neck nipping at air as Miumi was pushing on it's head to get it to back up. As he leapt onto the beasts' back causing it to rear backwards as it went up Miumi and Ayamu began a combination of attacks, as Ayamu slashed wildly at the beast's back and thick mane. Miumi sent a rough kick into it's stomach. It began to fall off and send Ayamu skittering to the man with the guitar. While it came back down on Miumi. His hand's grabbing the side of it's head giving rough twists to the left and the right. As he did it suddenly a loud crack filled the air and the beast began to grow silent before it fell to the left. Miumi's arm was bleeding from the beast's paws but Miumi seemed to be other wise okay as he slowly stood up shaking walking towards the other. Miumi was obviously going to pass out. As when he landed by Ignis the boy blacked out hitting the ground with a loud thud. In the distance they could see the lights of the Guado City.
" Be careful."
W as all Miumi managed to say before the world went black. Ayamu stood by his lord tapping the other's leg it was obvious that Miumi had been using alot of his energy to fight them but it wasn't as obvious how much it was affecting him as his chest seemed to rise and fall steadily and the amount of blood oozing from his arm was rather troublesome to imagine.
"Mi'lord hold on. !"

Ignis felt for the briefest second as though he had been talking to himself as once again the guy leaped away and went on the offensive, slaughtering more and more of the fiends single handed. He allowed himself a small smile as he stood still, simply watching the remaining fiends on his end slowly back away from the still burning ring of fire, and began to wonder why exactly it was that, that old dead woman wanted Ignis to watch over her son, he seemed to be powerful enough to hold his own. Mere moments later he was once again stood back-to-back with the guy, the flames finally dying down as he began yet another grand-looking attack, Ignis, however, was not about to waste any more energy using fire on what was left.
"Welp! just a few more from my end." He said, readjusting his position as he changed the way he was holding his guitar, in a single step he launched himself forward, holding his guitar like and Axe he swung it mercilessly, hitting any and all fiends that came within the range of his guitar. He heard the bones give way even above the unworldly screams that the fiends began calling once they had been struck, lashing on the ground violently before falling still. His work was quick, with each fiend falling to him with relative ease. He reached the final fiend within seconds, holding his guitar over his head for a moment and then delivering a single brutal blow to the head of the creature. Swiftly he backed away, literally dancing as he did so back to the spot he had previously been standing on. Taking up the correct stance to hold his guitar he allowed himself a small smile.
"Heh! Cakewalk!" He yelled, he stood in silence for a brief moment, that was when he felt it, a small tapping against his leg. Well ankle. He turned and looked down, looking from the small teddy bear-like being tapping on his ankle up to the guy lying on the ground. It was then at that point that Ignis realised why that old woman had wanted Ignis to watch over him. Fiends were still around and were advancing toward the guy, Ignis needed to act fast. Swiftly, but gently he worked his right foot underneath the bear and then used it to throw the thing onto his right shoulder in a single movement and then ran as fast as his legs would carry him over to the now unconscious boy.
He stood silent for a second and then played a single, somewhat harsh note on his guitar, sending a single wave for fire at the still advancing fiends. Another wave of fire and he had dismissed his guitar and knelt down, picking the guy up with one arm and holding him over his left shoulder.
"Damn man, you musta' been puttin' everythin' ya had into that." He asked, not really knowing why, since he was pretty sure that the guy was not able to hear him. He shook his head, this was not the time. He took a quick look around at his immediate surroundings, he was closer to Guadosalam than he was to that inn. This was a good thing, he turned on his heel and fled, there was no shame in living to fight another day. He ran, once again as fast as these unnatural legs would carry him, however, he was not quite out of the woods yet. So to speak. He cast a quick glance around, other fiends were beginning to turn their attention to him, this was an obstacle he did not need. A small number of them began to walk into his path; Ignis was not going to be having any of that. He raised his right hand, pointing his index finger at them.
"BANG!" The Fira spell he sent their way took effect immediately, exploding on contact. Leaping over the fallen bodies he soon found himself running through a winding tunnel and then he was back in the small town, safely away from those fiends. Drawing in a deep breath Ignis headed off in the direction of the inn, opening the door was a task, especially since he was carrying another person on his shoulder, however, he managed it in the end, drawing a strange look from the inn-keep. Ignis rolled his eye, fishing one hundred Gil from his pocket and slamming it on the front desk.
"Yeah. I'd like to see you take on like fifty fiends at the same time and still be standin' after that." He said harshly, keeping the attention of the inn-keep fixed on his glare a moment longer before making his way up stairs. He kicked the first door he came across open, only for a woman to jump up from the ornate looking seat she was sat in and scream at him. Ignis recoiled, backing out of the room quickly.
"Oops, sorry lady." Came the hurried reply as he closed the door behind him, this time he walked further down the long hallway, stopping to make sure the door was actually open for other customers before actually kicking it open this time. He took a quick look at the room as he closed the door behind him and walked over to the door directly before him as he entered. No, that was a bathroom, he left, finding the next door and. Breathed a sigh of relief as he placed the guy on the bed, he reached up to his shoulder, taking the small. Ignis lost himself, wonder what it was before finally settling on companion. He placed it on the bed and turned his back to the room, standing still for a long while, wondering if he should wait around. Another sigh.
"Damn Ziggy. You must be outta' your mind." He cursed mentally walking up to the door of the bedroom and no further. he looked around the room once more, the door to the hallway had been closed and locked, the rest of the room was empty, he had no idea how long it would be before the guy would wake up, but he needed to make sure that the guy was fit to travel before he left him by himself. Leaning against the door frame Ignis lowered his hood and simply stood in silence.
Sorry it's so short.... it's kind of the end of the thread The world is burning down....
A s Miumi lay there as if he was dead. He would stir occasionally the bear looked at the man before he went into one of Miumi's bags getting a thin charm. It was hand made Miumi had known something was going to happen that someone would help him sometime. So he had made them a gift if he was to tired to speak. Slowly the bear pulled it out, it was a bracelet that had beads that had been made from bone and fangs of the monsters Miumi fought. The bear looked at it before he brought it to Ignis. There was a small message on a piece of paper which was connected by a piece of string. It said. "To a future friend, a possible guardain. May our paths meet again." As Miumi's eyes would flicker open for a moment he would stir within his bed and turn towards the other. he spoke once but that as all as Miumi slipped back into slumber it was obvious by his level of exhaustion he wouldn't be waking up any time soon.
