Aitvaras didn't know what he was doing here, or maybe he did. It was a question he had to ask himself a few times before he found an answer that satisfied him. He, of course, searched for the famed Gateway XXVI, the only reason he had traveled to here. He otherwise wouldn't have picked it as a destiny, preferring the woods. He still did, but this seemed like an annoying bug that kept flying around his head, demanding that he would do something. He wasn't one to disappoint, hips moved lightly as he walked forward, glancing around.
It was almost a shame that he traveled to this continent. There was nothing that he could use, although he wouldn't give up. He wouldn't let this travel go to waste, his hands twisted in each other for a moment, before his hand fell on the pommel of his sword tied around his waist. It was almost too silent, in the eerie kind of way. He heard the faint sounds of birds in the distance however and this kept him from what others would call panic and run away quickly from whatever they didn't want to meet.
To him it was just common sense to listen when your body tried to tell you something. He didn't panic, he also did not run away. He made a safe retreat when it was needed, but he did not run. It was absurd that he would do that, he was suddenly glad that there was no one traveling with him. They would have touched his shoulder by now and questioned him why he didn't continue now. The hand around his sword tightened, whitening the flesh because of the pressure he used on the hilt of the cold metal.
The thought alone can send chills down my back. Why would anyone touch someone else if it is not for lust? I do not understand and I have to say I do not have a wish to do so... He shook his head lightly and let out a heavy breath and rubbed the bridge of his nose briefly Maybe it is something that I have no hope to understand yet, is it maybe something that older elves and only humans share? He didn't know, but the interest was there, he shook his head then, disgusted.
This elven man would soon find out he was not alone, he was being watched by one of the angels, that had begun to make their way around the world, this one was known as Armaita, but went by the name Ameila, why would an angel cover up who they were, she was the angel of truth yet her curse corrupted her and made her unable to lie, it was like some of the elves of lore, she couldn't lie but she didn't need to tell the full truth. It made her hard to trust but they had taken away something from her. They had taken away much of her knowledge leaving her bare to the world. Did those who cursed her believe she would die. No she was far stronger then they had ever imagined, the truth held a power that was capable of tearing both human and worlds apart. It was only a matter of finding the full and undeniable truth. As she moved just gently from the shadows, a flock of birds would scatter near by at her appearance. The thing that emerged was beautiful but held an aura of frailty, her weapon was different many of the angels wielded swords created by their holiness, her weapon was a compressed bow which was a charm at the moment. As she moved she stopped above a puddle it was an alluring thing to stare in, it offered a sense of wisdom many things could not. The earth knew the truth, as did the wind, water and even fire.
This angel was special, one of her eyes was covered by an eye-patch, they had taken her one eye's vision to see clearly thus distorting the truth's she saw, the eye under neath the black cloth was as red as blood with black crosses that rotated around the edges. They constantly moved it was if her eye was alive. While her other was a cool ocean blue so beautiful it was like watching a reflective mirror. As she moved her hair flowed in the wind, her hair was a ghostly white, it was clean and evenly cut. This was the angel. Her ears were pierced with metal crosses that held runes of power and seemed to sharpen her senses, her face was heart shaped and seemed to hold the essence of innocents, her teeth when she smiled were snow white and aligned perfectly, yet she was ugly to some. The truth was never kind it was always hurtful to someone. Thus was her nature. As she moved her milky white skin rippled slightly, her outfit was unique, like the truth it revealed skin, she was wearing a taunt black shirt which just curved around her navel. It revealed the white belly button which had a tattoo engraved around it. One of holy nature. She sensed someone was in the forest and she could sense they desired knowledge and the truth about something. It called her like a siren' song and she kept walking. Her body was swift and careful.
As she moved her black skirt seemed to flow, revealing milky thights which had a few cuts along them. Her soft shoes which had heels allowed her to move quickly. As she did her wings appearance, they were pierced by crosses, they represented the truth she had betrayed along those crosses were chains. As she moved closer she tapped her charm it expanded in a burst of light releasing a low frequency ring, as she felt a quiver appear on her thigh, it was filled with razor sharp arrows made of crystal, they were of her nature, they pierced with the truth. The bow she brandished was soft in tone, it was a deep black and smoothed over like marble, it has silver words engraved, they were a mix of latin and greek. "Burn away the lies, Clear the black skies.... pierce my enemies with tears I've cried, cleanse them of their lies." As she held it gently at her side she came to see the man he was interesting but she just stepped closer just staring softly yet saying nothing, her foot hit a branch causing it to crunch. She wished for him to speak first. As she just relaxed, her body seemed natural, she was the more cunning and devious of the fallen angels, her tongue was like a snakes and she could con men into doing stupid things, using her body and her wits. Thus was the curse of the truth, it could also be a goddess.
He hadn't heard her approach, he neither would have registered that a branch seemed to move as the stranger's foot hit it. He did however and his head raised, gleaming eyes taking her form in Pretty enough, I suppose. He thought to himself But I have to say it isn't really my cup of tea, wouldn't mind if I found her in the morning next to me.. A soft, unnoticeable shake of his head dispelled those thoughts and a smile curled his lips up. He didn't offer any words yet, just taking her in.
He didn't feel that there where words needed, but it would be polite. His eyes moved over her wings, taking in the dangling crosses and the quiver on her thigh, a nice thigh it was. It was almost a shame that he hadn't enough time to do anything with her. He mentally shrugged Well, I suppose there is always another time.. His mind muttered I am not planning to die anytime soon however.. He knew who she was, but didn't really dare to speak her name, in fear for breaking the 'illusion' he believed he was caught in.
He could maybe become older than an average human, but that didn't mean that he was getting younger each passing second he stood here. He frowned lightly, before bowing his head down to her, making silver tresses fall over his shoulders "Apologies, but I have to continue." He spoke, before giving an almost charming smile "You are free to join me however." He offered lightly, although in his mind it was already futile as well, why would someone of her caliber join someone like him? An impossible thing would happen then.
It didn't mean that he stopped hoping that she would take his 'invitation'. He only hoped that she wouldn't be too whiny, he could accept that someone talked here and there, but constant chattering about things that obvious didn't interest him. He would rather kill the person and be hunted half across the world again than hear a second more of the useless talk. He didn't straighten for a while, a small show of respect from his side. He also knew that it could be dangerous, if she suddenly decided to attack him, or something.
This is just a chance I have to take, if she kills me then I would die happily. If I don't, well then I can wreak more havoc before dying. His shoulders, tense before slowly relaxed. To the observant it was obvious that his hand on the sword didn't move, he only gave trust to some extent, if she wanted more she would have to do some more than only to stand there and gaze at him with those darned eye. He wondered if he should tell her that he was a sucker for blue eyes. No, that most likely only would earn him an arrow.
A soft smile covered her lips as she nodded her head and began to walk by the other. As she did she heard something snap it was branches suddenly her body was crouched to the ground as a creature burst from the lines of trees. A volley of arrows were already beign fired. The beast howeled and fell over softly and swiftly. This woman was dangerous but she seemed so frail as she just smiled she grabbed his hand it was obvious she had an idea of what he seeked. He pushed off the ground and flew deeper into the forest. She wove around the trees rather simply. She seemed adorable and petite.
He seemed shocked as the bush rustled, eyes widening as the monster jumped out and kept widening as he watched the creature fall to the ground like some piece of ripe fruit. Its body decorated with arrows that came from her hand. He slowly shook his head and felt his hand be taken in her hand. His fingers curled around it naturally, before he was swept away, eyes closed tightly. He never had been one to be in the sky, he only hoped that she knew what she was doing and wouldn't let him fall.
He finally seemed to realize how dangerous she was in fact. He had seen her first like some girl, although that was not entirely true. He knew that she had been dangerous, although he couldn't have placed a finger on it. His illusions about her seemed to fall away and he didn't quite know if he was annoyed by it or relieved. He supposed nonetheless that it didn't really matter, he would see what she was planning. Maybe all too soon and he had to prepare himself for whatever she could throw at him, or the nature.
His eyes tried to look around, but he kept them forced shut. It wouldn't be ideal if he became sick mid-air. It could have some pros, but he still didn't want it to happen. Especially if the wind kept going at it in his face. He was almost surprised that they didn't hit a tree once, it was most likely experience on her part. He almost sighed, he had luck to meet this ever so charming girl. She hadn't done anything wrong yet, so nothing stopped him from thinking like that.
