" Memories and dreams. They wander like ghosts upon this desolate soil. When I awakened. The world was different. The skies, blue. The grass green. But none of it lasted. The grass I lay upon thinking, soon turned to ash and sand, like a fire it spread across the globe. Blighted. Ruined. A world no more. The Slaves of Destiny traverse the new world. To harken a new begining.
The answer lies where it all began. And where it ended. Beyond the gateway there is something. Something more. And before they come. I shall go. Perhaps there is still something left. ".

Autoregeneration: For each 1 round that passes, Solomon's key will regain 1000 words of its required to defeat count.
Destroy: Solomon's Key will destroy a nearby airship, adding to the colateral damage meter.
Novadrive: The key will gather up its energy into a single burst of power, causing death to two opponents choosen at random. This also adds 30% to the colateral damage meter. This attack can be haulted by writing a single 3000 word post attacking the core on its chest.
For some...this attack seems awfully familar....
Mana Fall: A white snow like substance falls from the sky, whilst it recovers the magical energy of its opponents, it saps the health of a single target ( The word count of a selected target recovers the HP of Exodus rather than damage)
Wrath of the Red Sea: Walls of water crash in from all sides, engulfing the party and their airships causing large scale water damage to both the party and their airships. ( 20% collateral damage)
Traverse: Using this technique the Solomon's Key will retreat upon 60,000 words of damage.
Hivemind: A mysterious voice whispers...
Information: 100,000 words required to defeat (( Note: Will retreat at 60,000 due to Traverse Ability)
Collateral Damage meter: Measures damage done to the airship fleet. If this reaches 100%, the party will lose.
Description: The same monster that attacked Lindblum. However it seems to have undergone some kind of evolution since the last fight. It is far larger in size, and its power has gone through a tremendous upgrade. It will not be easy to defeat.
Backstory:
Lindblum
Since the last the Regent has put a lot of resources into tracking down the monster that escaped. And he has, with the aid of his allies overseas. Found the beast.
Once again he put out a call for powerful warriors to join him and his airship fleet as he heads out to put an end to this monster once and for all. But there is an unexpected suprise waiting for them as they arrive....
Midgar
After long and grueling research, the science team in Shinra finally found the coordenates of the Promised Land.
The Cetra continent. Within the Northern Crater there lies vast quantities of Mako energy, enough to last countless lifetimes and riches. Spurned by greed and his dream of Neo Midgar. President Shinra Commands the immediate mobilsation of SOLDIER forces to get on Shinra's own airfleet and head towards the Promised Land.
Both
Lindblum and Midgar meet in the skies. Both here for different reasons. President Shinra dismisses Regent Cids claims of the monster and warns him to leave before things get messy. Unfortunatly. Things do get messy.
From within the Northern Crater rises up the beast. Solomon's Key. In a single attack it wipes out half of both sides airpower. The rest are forced to cooperate...for the sake of survival...
Rules and Setting
1, You must choose a side to be on. Midgar or Lindblum. Although this does not seem important. It will have an impact on the story once the monster is defeated. 2, No reserving posts. If you do so, your reservation will be deleted. 3, Same as always, you can join no matter where you are or what you are doing. Regardless of Alignment (etc)
Validor reached the Northern Crater just in time it seemed. Validor grimaced at the sight as the towering moster stood before him, actually inside the crater. He had recieved the notion to go here a few days ago by the Planet itself. It was gigantic and plant like roaring. It was none other than the Solomon's Key that he had heard through rumors that it had once attacked Lindblum but had escaped. And now it was on his very own contininent.
His home.
Not too far from Nibelhiem either. Validor pulled on his black leather gloves tightly as his air waved in the breeze. He was hesitant about going into battle with this thing. Validor was a very good swordsman, but could he possibly do against such a large enemy? He had very few devastating skills to speak of along with magic as well. He grimaced. He looked up at the skies at the battle airships regrouping and trying to escape the large monstrocity. Though he really din't wish harm on anyone, he was sort of glad that Midgar was being pushed back. He knew of their plans on trying to find alot of Mako energy to quench their never ending thirst of greed. Cetra continent, Validor always knew, had a signicant, and possibly the largest amount of mako wells on Gaia. They wanted it so they could gain profit from the planet, making them an unknown enemy just by their efforts. Validor.
But now was not the time to be thinking of such things. Now was time to be focusing on the large, main problem before him.
Validor hastilly grabbed Voix de la Terra and spun the great sword in several circles before getting into a battle stance and glaring at his foe.
Are you ready, Terra?
The sword shined and remained silent a few seconds.
..Yes...
Validor grinned grimly.
You know, if we don't make it out of this, I'm blaming you.
...I'm aware...
Validor laughed out loud, finally laughing out his fears and then got serious again.
"Here we go!"
Validor dashed swiftly towards the beast as one of its green plant looking body parts slammed down right before him sending earth and dirt up in the air. Validor swiftly leaped up on top of it dragging Voix de la Terra down on it which started slicing the plant like limb with its extremely sharpened and indestructable edges. He then took several stabs into it, not knowing wether it caused any damage or not. He then leaped up extremely high up onto the Solomon's Key's arm. He immediately latches onto one of the thorn like parts of its arm using his sword to stab into the beast and gripping onto its hilt. He then grabs the white cloth that often hung around the the hilt of the blad and then swung upwards onto the top of the arm. He then pulls on the cloth tightly as to yank up the sword to him. He then looks up to see its face, which was bestial and malvolent. The beast's arm then began to move its arm again, making Validor stab right back into it and hold onto it.
"Damn!"
The winds blew past him as the arm moved. His bright blue eyes wide with some bit of fear. Was he really prepared for this? He could die!
NO! I will protect the planet.....to my dying breath....
The arm stopped moving as much and so Validor then yanked out his sword, and started moving again. He found himself running expertly arounf the thorn like structures on its appendage and sometimes leaping over them with high agility. He then stopped for a few seconds quickly scanning the area for a possible weak spot on the beast that he could target, and possibly give him the edge in the battle. Seeing none at the moment he kept up the sprint and slashes sometimes having to stick Voix de la Terra back into its hard skin just to keep onto it. Its skin was covered in extremely hard armor, it seemed all over it. However due to Voix de la Terra's properties it was quite easy to stick into. Something he was quite lucky for. It seemed that it might be hard for most people to penetrate it. He then looked over to his sides as he began to notice something that made his eyes widen in surprise. One of the vines that had protruded from his side was now chasing after him as he slowly made his way up the beast's arm. It swiftly tried doing a swift snap at him which Validor quickly leaped over.
"AERO!"
Wind gathered up around Validor as the beast made a another strike at him only hitting the barrier of sharpened wind blades that now surrounded Validor. The vine-creature though injured managed to make the spell disperse again. Validor eyes widened in surprise at this. He cursed that the Solomon's key had noticed him and was now starting to strikes at him. But he also watched as some of the airships were trying to make battle strikes at the beast as well, launching bullets and missles as the Key. Most of its armor had blocked the bullets but some hit certain parts and burried deep within, though having very little effect at it what-so-ever. Something Validor felt he was only doing as well, making little progress on fighting the monster. The Vine quickly recovered and then started slithering swiftly towards Validor again. Validor grunted as the vine started closing in on behind him opening its extremely large jaws. Validor was almost snapped dwon upon but before it could he back flipped as the vine lunged forward. Validor the dug his blade into it, and used the momentum to drag it deeply into the Vine causing blood to ooze out of the large wound left as Validor kept moving down its back. The vine the proceeded to move quite violently making him lose balance and fall off of it. Validor tumbled through the air, plummeting at an extreme rate to the ground. However the Vine, not hurt very much by its wounds at all continued its determined chase to Validor. Validor spun in mid-air.
"AERO!"
This time aerial blades of wind surrounded the vines head and all attacked it, causing it to writhe in pain and become distracted as the blades of wind hit its glowing bright eyes.
Meaniwhile Validor then took his blade and then grabbing it by the cloth again, he began to spin it around in quick wide arc circles. Then using it like a grappling hook he threw it towards the Key's torso. It stuck in perfectly and Validor swiftly swung over to it and grabbed onto it. He panted heavily and looked back towards the Vine which had seemed to have lost him looking towards the ground to see if he was dead or not. A quick sigh of relief came from Validor as he looked up and then saw it. There was some sort of orb on its chest, which looked particularly vulnarable. He then began his assent towards the monster's chest.

Ruien stood in silence among the crowds of Lindblum as they called for those with power to help them fend off the same beast that had already been dealt with once. Ruien still remembered that encounter vividly; he had impaled the thing with a massive metal stick and then prevented from unleashing a devastating attack against not only himself but several other fighters.
"Hmph, Why do I get the feeling that this is a widely misunderstood creature." He mused calmly to himself, the visions and snippets of a life that was his own, but not his own were really beginning to make Ruien think that something was amiss here, what was more was what that mysterious man had said to Ruien as he had left Bevelle. Things had made very little sense before that encounter, and after it, well, Ruien just could not tell what made sense and what did not any more. He had figured that the further along he got, the easier things would get, and so far that had been proved wrong on multiple occasions.
"I still need to learn as much as possible. I think I should tag along with them for this encounter." Moments later he found himself on an aircraft bound for the Cetra Continent in order to combat the creature. Ruien, of course had gone straight to the outer deck of the ship where he could keep to himself as the wind lashed at him violently, causing his trench coat and his long hair to lash out behind him as they moved.
So, the second encounter draws near? Against something of that size I don't think the Anei would be able to do much since they lack the VII Flame control that I do. I'm going to have to keep a lookout for that 'Novadrive' thing that some of the combatants seemed to fear... And that feeling... As if I know exactly what this thing is, yet... I've seen it once." Ruien kept silent, merely contemplating what this thing was and possible tactics to use while in combat against it, he had seen it in action once already using what he had seen it do there as a basis, he did not limit his tactics to only what he had seen, it was entirely possible that this creature was sentient enough to know not to reveal all of its tricks in the first fight. He shook his head once; there was no way that was possible, surely not. Ruien paused, placing a hand on his forehead.
"No, that can't be possible, can it? Then again, my first encounter with the Anei was an eye-opening experience. It is entirely possible that this creature could be more sentient than it appears." The complexity of the thought alone was enough to make Ruien reconsider a number of things that he had thought otherwise of over the course of his life. Perhaps once this was all over he would re-educate himself, after all, he had not had the chance to complete his self-taught education due to the war.
"We are appro- oh god!" The announcement caused Ruien to cock and eyebrow, he knew the sight was a bad one, unlike anything else but it was not quite that shocking. He was silenced as the airship pulled around and Ruien himself caught sight of the creature, his eyes widened and he stood looking almost stupid with his mouth slightly agape. This was the same creature, there was no mistake there, but it had changed almost completely, it had grown alarmingly and now, along with those intimidating clawed-hands were large, almost demonic looking growths with sharp teeth.
"This puts half of my ideas to rest. This was something that I did not entirely anticipate." He uttered to himself, summoning his weapon as he readied himself for combat, well, his battle plan may have been forcefully altered, but that was not going to stop him, the best way to formulate a battle plan against such a foe was often on-the-fly, since he had no idea what else was new with this foe.
"Any ideas Ruien?" Ruien was just starting a charge when he heard Atrum speak to him; this caused him to very nearly trip over his own feet. Shocked, Ruien stood in silence a while longer and then had to ask the obvious question.
"You can speak to me from a different realm?"
"Of course. It comes as part of the ability to summon our kind to your side. To myself only though, never managed to figure that out, but I have no difficulty relaying your instruction to the Anei on the field." Ruien shook his head.
"Regardless, is this really the time for that? I've got a fight on my hands here."
"I know, just remember what you did last time and you should be fine." Ruien cocked an eyebrow, wondering if Atrum had even seen the change in appearance and size, and then moving rapidly on to whether the Alpha-Anei had actually even seen the creature, that piece of advice made no sense, however, after the helpful advice he had received from Atrum during his visit to that otherworld he kept it in mind, he had a feeling that it was more than likely to come in handy later on.
"Well then, I hope you're better prepared this time around abomination." He said calmly, finally grasping the power had grown to almost completely re-evaluate and enveloping his entire body with it. He took in its new appearance, nodding to himself as he took in all the small details, it still had eyes which was always a good thing, it meant that he would still be able to disorient it. What he did not like the look of, however, were the growths he had noticed, they had the ability to move, which would make attacking the core to prevent a Novadrive more difficult than last time. He shook his head cursing silently to himself as he remembered that he had forgotten to get into contact with Heru-Soeki. In fact he had not even remembered to start thinking about looking for him; this was going to make this encounter all the more irritating since he was going to have to rely on the ship getting close when he wanted to rely on his heavy hitting attacks.
"Beh, going to be an interesting one." He said in irritation, he shrugged, he was not completely useless after all he did still have some magic on his side, along with the VII Flame not being limited to close range, it was only the more powerful refinements of that power that relied on Ruien being close enough to the target to hit them with. He drew back one of his hands as an open palm, concentrating the VII Flame into a fine point at its center and then thrust it forward, unleashing a small long-range beam toward the creature. The power output had to be low to allow it go get the range he needed, yet he knew that the abomination was going to feel it when it hit. He was right in his assumption, the creature let out a small otherworldly scream as the beam hit it.
"Excellent, once more I'm not the only one." He noticed when some other attacks hit the creature from afar, he looked around as the airship was kept mobile by its pilot, and he shook his head. He was not going to get any damage done to the creature if he continued like this; he needed to be right in the creatures face attacking it, keeping the pressure on so that others could attack with a major distraction to the creature, that was when it clicked.
"Just remember what you did last time and you should be fine." Ruien allowed himself a small smirk as it finally made sense, Atrum had been referring to how Ruien had interrupted its attempted Novadrive the first time around, that was how he was going to become a prominent threat to the creature this time, he was going to follow a similar tact.
"heh, heh. Thank-you Atrum, you ingenious bastard you." He said calmly, more to himself since he figured that actually trying to contact Atrum would only serve as a further waste of time. In a single fluid movement he hopped onto the balcony of the airship and kept himself in a tense crouch as he waited for the airship to get into an exact position. a finger-snap later the small burst of Black Fire caused the creature to recoil, allowing Ruien the split second opportunity he needed to leap from the balcony and onto the body of the creature.
This time around most of its surface seemed to be made of bone, along with that Ruien spotted what he thought was likely to be the core, he shrugged, it would become more obvious once it started charging its Novadrive attack. He looked around after landing and re-orienting himself to the newfound center of gravity he now had, the reaction had been instant as several of the growths all turned their attention to him and sprung in for the attack, moving at a rapid speed their jaws parted in preparation. Ruien merely smirked and remained calm, once again concentrating the VII Flame into points and giving them the crude form of blades from the VII Flame covering his palm, he readied the concentrated edges and lowered his stance, leaping forward and slicing cleanly through the first attacker.
"Hmph, overestimated them slightly." He uttered calmly, stomping a concentrated point of Black Fire into the creature as the other attackers drew closer to him. The resulting flinch stopped the attackers which were then dealt with in a single sweep of the blades of VII Flame, he looked around, further shapes forming, he was going to be forced to defend himself constantly pretty soon, and he would not have it any other way, but first he had to make sure that this was one. He stomped another concentrated point of the VII Flame into the creature, one for each encounter. Well, not entirely, the multiple points of pain should with any luck serve as a further distraction, allowing others to get good hits of their own in on the creature. He lent back slightly, causing another diving growth to miss him by inches and then sliced cleanly through a fourth victim, a small smirk twisting its way across his lips.
"Four of them down already? Not bad." He said, walk a few paces up and then looking around, several further growths were coming to him, and this only caused his smirk to broaden as he stood still and waited for them to close the gap.
"Well, at least they are welcoming death by coming to attack me so freely." He said in an almost overconfident tone, the first got close and was swiftly stabbed with the blades of Black Fire, the second drew close, its jaws parted, and then the top jaw was parted from the bottom and fell from the body and down to the ground below, Ruien shook his head.
"How Primitive." He observed, though he was not going to get cocky, since he was unsure yet of this was some kind of ploy to get him to lower his guard, and while he doubted such a thing was possible he was not going to rule out such a possibility. As a precaution he placed one segment of his weapon a short distance away from each palm allowing the VII Flame to travel through it. This was enough to increase the power output even further and served to further sharpen that concentrated edge he had made, things were about to get interesting, he was not going to allow himself to hold back completely, he could miss something important.
Blue sighs softly as she stands on the side on the Regent, also following the creature with great interest. She stood proudly on the edge of the airship as the creature had unleashed hell upon the two fleets forcing them to. Her thoughts occupied with Shin-Ra
Why is Shin-Ra here? This is not a place for Midgar.... of course.. the Mana.
Blue bites her lip softly and closes her eyes softly, she couldn't fight the creature too well on her own not in the air, her last attempt had resulted in her crashing an airship into the thing and they couldn't spare one of those. She sighs softly and rushes to the edge of the airship to look over at the battle that had just begun. She noticed an interesting man fighting the creature with a strange black fire however no one else had started to assault it, she had not spotted Validor or maybe she just didn't consider him a threat to the creature. She turns away and walks over to the other side of the ship and looks onwards to the Shin-Ra, biting her lip she looks at the distance between them and the ground, grinning to herself she nods.
"Heh if I'm not too careful I will wipe out President Shinra. Damn it, tch that would revoke the treaty... Fuck"
She sighs realising if she used Abomination now she void the cease-fire with Midgar becuase she caused the Presidents demise, however she wouldn't let him achieve whatever he wanted here so she quickly runs to the front of the airship, hopping up onto the ledge and smiles.
"Come forth Demon Lord, come forth to the side of mine and unleash your fury upon the beast infront of me"
She holds up a fist as a large purple mist starts to appear around her and curl in the air before her and form quite quickly into the large winged form of the demon before it flashes and the demon appears looking to Blue slightly annoyed.
"Heh, don't be so angry we found the beast"
She says pointing to the beast infront of them with a wicked grin.
"So my knight, have at it and make this Sorceress proud by felling this beast before it escapes!?"
She smiled commanding the demon before she collapses onto her back and crosses her legs and puts her hands behind her head staring at the sky.
"Go on, get out there now Demon, I know your hiding something about this thing from me so just go and do what you need to do and we will talk about this later"
She said as she closes her eyes letting the demon go wild against the creature he knew something about, the secret bugging her slightly but over all she could wait.
Blue count: 477 Solomon Total: 3,701 Blue loses 100 Exp for summoning Belzera to battle.
Leliana could feel the evil power around her, ready to destroy the world that she stands on. As much as she would like to enjoy the world she is standing on being destroyed she still needs to find her own information about controlling time. So She was not going to let this so called Solomon's Key cause any more damaged. As she approached the large giant beast that looked like a plant had evoled into a growing monster she watched as the airships in the air had been damaged. "Impressive! Taking out almost a whole fleet of airships. She spoke coldly as she nodded with a smile on her face watching the scene unfold.
Warriors all around the world will be coming to destroy this thing and she was one of those warriors. It was her turn to damage this monster of chaos, of course she wasn't going to go head in and attack like one of those warriors did. She was a black mage and she would be able to cease fire from a distance. Leliana's heart beat, pumped faster as time went on. "My turn then?" She spoke to herself as she took out her staff and slammed the bottom of her staff into the ground. The top gold part faced upward as the whole staff as stuck into the ground, holding itself up.
Leliana stood what felt like miles away, but still in distance to attack. Placing her hands together she began to fill her magic flow through her body. The power of magic rushed through her legs toward her chest. The magic swarmed up into one spot which was her hands. Like blood rushing threw her body, her eyes began to glow light blue and purple. With a great smirk she moved her hands apart from each other and opened them wide. A pulse of dark energy erupted from her hands, creating a orb of pure darkness. Lifting her hand backwards she sent one orb straight back at the beast with full speed. Seconds later she sent her other orb toward the large creature. Leliana wouldn't know how much damage she would inflict but she knew it would take some minor damage.
The orbs flew through the sky and went straight for the center of the chest of the piece which looked like some type of core that was apart of its body. It seemed rather important she thought to herself. Orbs landed straight into the chest, the exploding darkness blasted on impact as the two orbs were now gone. She could hear the beast give a small cry but she knew it wasn't just from her attacks alone. "Maybe this will get your attention! She shouted at the beast with pure hatred. Leliana lifted her hands up and closed her eyes. The magic flowed from her body toward her arms that were reaching for something. Leliana began to pull something out from the air, with great strength she kept focusing on the magic she was now begining to use with this spell. Clouds soon formed into darkness as lightning peaked out every other second. A large comet soon began to move forward from the sky. The comet soon tourched itself in flames as it came flying down from the sky. Pieces of the comet soon broke off as it entered the atmoshphere. "Cosmos, send down your wraith and destroy this creature! Leliana shouted as she opened her eyes and soon saw a cosmic rock come down through the heavens. Through the heavens the cosmic rock known as comet came down through the air crashing down onto the giant creatures back like airplane crashing down.
The Solomon's Key screamed in pain as the comet hit is back, it was not expecting such a force to hit its back. The comet would have destoryed a large amounts of land but yet it didn't destroy this monster. "That thing is tougher then it looks. Damn to do my biding soldier! Leliana spoke almost out of breath as she lowered her hands down. The magic gave her a rush in the head, making her feel light headed. But the feeling was gone in just seconds. Forming from her hand she sent a orb of darkness toward the ground right infront of the beast. The orb crashed into the ground and soon grew large and formed into a soldier with a sword. This ability was known as Dark Soldier, Leliana sent the command to attack the monster. The dark soldier carried a large steel sword of pure darkness. The solider darted toward the beast using every strength it had to deal as much damage.
The darkness that was formed leaped into the air and stabbed the large beast in the side of its chest. As the stab of the sword was made it forced its body to come down with the sword, tearing Solomon's Key flesh with each second. Only seconds this soldier had before the monster would destory it with a single hit, did it jumped to the right leg. The pure darkness lunged straight into the right leg with its sword. As the sword it, Leliana commanded it to explode itself like a sacrafice. The sword made contact and the dark soldier felt its body forming into a bomb and felt itself explode into the right leg of the beast.
"Now take some time to think of your action's Solomon's Key! She spoke to herself and lifted her hand into the air and sent a orange circle of magic toward the monster. The orange circle formed into a clock that soon circled around the beast. The clock's hands began to go in circles counter clock wise, giving the effect of slow. The beast would for a short time feel a slow effect on its movements and attack. Not knowing how long it would last for this beast was of great power and strength, it would maybe last a few seconds. But those few seconds could save this city from being destroyed.
Leliana opened her hands once again and formed two more orbs of darkness. The internal darkness began to formed into a ball, the two orbs went sent flying toward the beast once again to cause more damage. As the orbs left her hand Leliana could feel her magic faded softly. She must not overdo herself placing her hand on her staff she decided she needed to rest."All right, Rest of you take this thing out! She spoke to herself as she watched the battle from a far. She had her staff with her in case something would come after her from the beast. While resting she felt her magic being restored very slowly, Leliana knew it was only time before she will have to use her staff soon. A feeling in her stomach told her that this thing is full of surprises.
Let's hear the roar, feel the pain, wash it down the drain.
T his was the feeling of being weightless, as Miumi lay within a small cabin among the various air ships which were heading full of warriors from around the worlds. He only wished that Clive was with him right now as he just slowly stared at the ceiling. The patterns of oak seemed to being weaving like the magic which burned like fire within him. As he just gently reached up tracing the cool glass window as he felt the minutes tick by before a frantic knock came upon his door. He just rolled onto his side and stared at it as the person walked in. It was time for this boy to shine as he smiled he would just gently slink from under the covers. His hair was still moist from the refreshing bath he had given himself. As he just smiled as he walked by his body smelt some what like vanilla. It may be a rather strange fact but it was true it was going to be the last thing that beast ever smelt if Miumi could manage to kill it. As he walked down the hall the soft sound of padding paws could be heard as he looked back at Ayamu offering the sweetest of smiles that could be managed. As he looked at the stair case. It shook occasionally but Miumi walked as if it were standing still as he walked onto the deck. Sharp cool winds lashed around him like blades of wind. The beast was small upon the horizon but even by this standards it had to be colloasos.
As they grew closer, he watched as the beast unleashed an attack, he covered his ears as he heard screams of people the creak and breaking of both wooden and metal alike, the crunches of bones. He just fell side ways to the deck clutching his stomach and his ears as a trail of drool came from his mouth it was like he was going into a small seizure it seemed as the disgust washed over him, twisted metal and wooden forms now littered down below. As he watched he could just imagine their cries for help from the living as he watched as more people rushed forward to help those who had been wounded. He felt so useless as the ship rocked, there had been an almost shock wave like effect. He wondered if that crazy woman was going to be here again. As he looked at the creature some part of him was boiling with rage yet the other part was cool with sympathy. He knew what it was like to be a monster in everyone's eyes but he was capable of changing this beast had done so much damage before and it seemed like it had gotten stronger, as it's twisted skin was disgusting and looked slimy like a lizards. This was the very creature he would bring his wraith down upon as he felt the power surging within him. It was just like a raging inferno as flash backs of the damage and sights he had seen.
The ship's engine was humming hotly through the wood, he could faintly feel the warmth that was flowing upwards, he wondered who was down there working but he just stood there as they were slowly drawing in closer. He just watched as the heaps of metal became more visible as they were going sightly lower to the ground. He gasped in horror he could see twisted white bones and blood staining the metal for some reason there was nothing that would ever wipe that imagine from his mind as his chest burned and he began to retch rather rapidly. As they pulled back up the scent of death was leaving his nose but it was like a stalker it kept coming after him. As he just turned his head from the sight he felt hte hot surge of cold wind. As it lashed around it caused his long black to flow around violently almost as if it were ticking straight up before it lashed around like a whip of darkness cracking silently against his skin. There was something different his hair a golden link within it, it was just there it seemed holding back two handfuls of hair from getting into his eyes. They were engraved with a series of elemental design remembering he had bought it at the Luca place. As he just stared ahead blankly those icy blue eyes were filled slightly with tears, but behind the cold innocent stare there was a burning hatred. As his hand rested gently by his side.
As he felt his arms, there were marks of fangs from the last monster it's spawn had managed to get Miumi's arms, while the skin had mended and the scab was gone there were milky white trails from the fangs splitting open his skin as he traced the slightly smoother skin a look of anger traced his face. He had gotten them towards the end as they were dying out as he used his own body as a shield for some small children. He just stared ahead as he focused remembering Belzera's promised he felt the power as he unleashed that seal upon his back. The names of their contract displaying itself as the ink seemed to renew itself. He would unleash a hecto-flare if he needed. As he just stepped slowly forward towards the front of the air ship. Feeling the rough rope with his fragile fingers. They were coarse and dry as he just gingerly traced them he could feel a few eyes upon him he was different he was smaller but many of them knew of his power. The beast getting larger in the horizon, slowly features were becoming more distinct and it almost made him cringe, this thing was hidious and he noticed that it's armor was thicker looking it was like scales upon plates. It would be harder for them to make this mighty beast fall. A small shark like smile placed itself gingerly across Miumi's innocent face. This was just the beginning it seemed as his eyes glittering with malice and rage.
Miumi's clothing was interesting for one who might be going into battle, he wasn't wearing the same thing as last time now he was adjusting those white sleeves which just covered a few inches of skin and they were bound by straps of leather to his arms. He was wearing a smooth white leather vest which was covering a black-shirt he had kept as he just gently adjusted his necklace as he readied himself to get ready to fight. Fiddlign with the snow white corset strings which were taunt against his stomach and the blackish skirt which had ruffles of red within it as he just stared ahead adjusting those leather sandals. As he smiled as he climbed onto the tip rails which prevented him from falling. As he sat down upon it his chain connecting to the bear who was linking it around a pillar. As he just took a few wary steps onto the almost spear like attachment in the front. Slowly MIumi stood upon the tip his body swaying gently with the wind which seemed calm for the moment and the chain was taunt so it was like trying to move a building. As he just stood on the edge which was rather thin. He looked back and smiled. As slowly he focused a small cry went out within his mind he was calling Belzera to this place since this man seemed to know what was going on. His voice was extremely loud within his own mind.
"Belzera, under the power of our contract, with the provisons of power which bind us togehter. I call upon your power. Now come forth, those who call you the guardian of hell, the guardian of Blue, I call upon you BELZERA."
O n the offensive side it seemed, as he felt the pressure of the ship as it shifted roughly one way to avoid a miss fire from another. As they did MIumi felt his body falling but hte chain ekpt him bound as they were flying towards the creature Miumi could see it's sickening eye and focused closing his eyes. Suddenly the air within the area began to grow cold and suddenly there was a chilly blue aura flowing around Miumi's body as Ayamu retracted the chain causing Miumi to fly back onto the deck. As he landed moisture on the deck began to crackle dangerously as it formed slick icy passage ways upon the deck. His eyes seemed bluer and his lips gained a cold bluish tint as he channeled this very devastating energy from his body outwards. As he let out a frigid breath his very warm breath was foggy and seemed to have a glossiness. As he focused signs of power formed on his skin as he extended his pale hand as if he was asking the creature to dance. His nails had become a sickening blue temporarily. He watched though as he heard the roar of an aero spell and watched as blades of wind flew from another ship the sad thing is this was just the beginning of the battle and it would only go down from here. As he focused he knew that the air ships weren't safe as he noticed their mangled twisted forms were also on the ground so he would bring forth Valefor.
His body felt numb to the world around hum but soon he focused and let out a deafening noise, as he jumped to the front of the ship coiling his hands around his lips before he blew he would send razor sharp shards in a funnel shape which seemed to irritate the beast ever so slightly as they had to veer sharply one way as a tendril was flying towards them. As they wove around it Miumi noticed that his icy shards were glittering against it like a series of diamonds. Soon Miumi focused he would actually climb onto the railing and leap from the air ship, still thousands of feet in the air he just closed his eyes and brought his hands together in front of him. There were people who ran to the railing and watched as the child began to rapidly descend. His hair flying upwards. He watched as the sky was painted black as he focused his energy seemed to flow outwards, As he moved his arms in a graceful sweep and extended up to the sky. There were glyphs of power and energy forming visibly around the child and they were raging out of control spiraling rapidly. The ground was coming up fast, suddenly a high pitched screech like noise filled the air and everyone looked into the sky. As Miumi adjusted his body doing a delicate flip within the air as the giant hulking beast was flying so quickly trails of the clouds were following it.
The beast began to twist and spiral much like a drill as it's wings began to unfurl with a sound of wind being pushed, it hit Miumi and made him feel weightless as he seemed to just hover upon that air wave until the beast flew under him. As he landed upon it's back his legs spread quickly coiling around the neck as his hands gripped into the feathers and hair gripping gently but giving a slight tug in the direction they needed to go. As they flew towards another air-ship they would suddenly sharply veer one way. As they flew towards the creature. There was a voice deep within his mind. It was Valefor's it sounded soft and innocent to Miumi to other's it may of been loud and roaring. It spoke of a plan and Miumi nodded. As they flew closer suddenly Valefor opened his mouth and would suddenly a small bolt of lightning began to arc forward slamming into the creature it brought realization to Miumi. That they shared their magically energy as he flew closer they were going around the flailing arms weaving like an air ship could never dream of. As they came closer Miumi focused and drew upon the power deep within side of him and this eyes began to cackle with a burning heat. There were faint lines of red and blue streaming randomly through his eyes like a wild flower as he gazed at them before he placed his hands infront of him. A small series of orbs could be seen.
While as the orbs began to form Miumi slowly focused his own energy into the spell weaving more of them and as they flew towards the beast, slowly the orbs began to fuse almost like a bomb getting bigger. AS they did it crackled and burned with energy. It glowed brightly illuminating the features of Miumi's features and as he focused on holding thin wisps of steam flew from his hands, it was obvious that even his mental barrier was straining. As suddenly the orbs were beginning to combine they were growing rapidly and forming disturbingly bright blood red hot orbs. Suddenly he felt himself pull back and he screamed sonic wing within his mind. It flew forward and would crash into the beast with a loud roaring booom. It actually seemed to ignite the beast and cause rage. As he focused he sensed the other attacks that were being launched he had started his attack first ubt was one of the last to finish as he felt the surge of powwer from the beast and veered roughly to one way and would soar away as a tendril smashed where he had been as he flew by he sensed Belzera's presence.
Minara flies as fast as he can, scanning the battle for people who may be hurt, maneuvering so that it is unlikely he would be smashed to bits by the giant creature, Minara sees Lindblum solders as well as Midgar soldiers, Minara's main concerns are the Lindblum soldiers as they are more his allies but he would help all that needed help. Wheeling and diving, Minara makes his way towards Solomon's Key, drawing Haruki, Minara spins in the air. Spinning horizontally like a top, Minara flattens his wings down and takes on an extra spurt of speed as he dives in to strike, curving away to avoid being attacked. Minara halts in midair for a moment before continuing on.
Minara thrusts Haruhi into the giant monster but, to Solomon's Key it would feel simular to a bug bite. Minara wrenches his sword out and flies off as quick as he could, He would be almost useless on his own, he sould meet up with some of the soldiers attacking and see how he could help them with their assaults. Noticing the countless wounded soldiers all over the place, Minara flies to the closest group, taken a back by the amount of damage done to everyone, Minara holds out his hands and yells out "CURA!" instantly some of the injuries start to heal and the color comes back to the faces of the people cured. Landing so that he could see to everyone in the area, Minara runs to the next injured person and again, yells "CURA!"
Minara was happy that he could at least be helpful in this large battle, he used cura on everyone that was hurt that he could see before taking to the air again and looking around at the hundreds of others injured "I don't know how much I will be able to do on my own but I will do my best!" Minara flew directly to the next group of injred soldiers and ran round, making sure they were all able to fight again before moving on to the next. What made Minara even happier than being able to help people was that people we thanking him as he did so. Quite frequently Minara would run across a dead soldier, he would kneel down next to the soldier, place his hands on the soldiers chest and say, very calmly "Life." The soldier would still be hurt but he would be alive again. However, this was more than Minara was used to doing and after the first 25 soldiers, Minara had to rest because he couldnt move properly, he was becomeing drained because of the power needed to cast the spells.

OOC: I hope i did ok with this, its my first combat related post, so if there is anything wrong with it i would appreciate you telling me so i could improve my rping on here
Alister was given word of the return of the Solomon's Key but far worse then before. Last time Alister faced Solomon's Key he came way behind as the offspring was invading the city of Lindblum after the monster had retreated. This time he was here to defend Cetra from the fierce chaotic monster. He was joining the aid of Lindblum as he sprinted down onto the battlefield. As he stepped forward watching the countless soldiers of Lindblum and Midgar fall to the ground from the strong Solomon's Key wraith. Placing his hand on his sword he ran toward the monster jumping into the air. His sword flew out of his belt and with the momentum Alister had and slamed his sword straight into the foot of the Solomon's Key. As Alister stabbed the monster, he took out his bow and sent prepared to shoot out arrows. First arrow had pierced the skin of the monster, which was just about a few feet above the foot of the monster. Several other arrows soon came after landing higher and higher giving alister a path to climb up on the monster.
Alister took his sword and jumped a few feet grabbing onto the first arrow and quickly pushing himself up onto the next arrow above him. As Alister begins to do this he used his own sword to slam right into the flesh of the monster making sure he doesn't fall and break the arrows. Alister had kept this up for a few minutes not knowing what he had in mind. As Alister found himself hanging from his sword and arrow he use his strength to push himself up and stand on his sword. Alister quickly pulled his bow from his back and felt the force of his magic as she shot an arrow straight into the face of the monster."Circle Bind! Alister shouted as the arrow glowed white and slammed into the side of Solomon's Key's face. The bond from arrow had made the monster froze for a quick second, taking this time Alister couldn't use his sword so he sent a three way arrow attack. One arrow went straight toward the face, as the last two went straight toward the cheeks of the face. Alister could feel the anger in the monster's face as it scrunched its face from the pain.
The large arm came swiftly toward Alister trying to knock him off toward the ground or even squeesh him to death. Alister dropped from the sword as he gripped the bottom and allowed the sharp point to slice through the flesh of the monster. Alister then decided to push off the monster's body with his sword in his hand as he saw the large arm come at him. With a blast of his hand he sent a few icicles of ice toward the arm. Sharpe pieces of ice blasted from Alister's hand as they striked the arm of the beast.
As Alister was flying downwards from the free fall Alister twisted him self like a tornado using his spell of Aero to create a small tornado to make him land peacefully onto the ground. As soon as he hint the ground he force the wind to move upward toward the arm of the beast. The wind began to move fast as it was sent straight toward the beast's arm slicing like a sharp needle.
"Everyone gather!Alister shouted as he focused with his hands and soon sent a pink auror blast around him and any other soliders and warriors that came in range. "Heavens Wraith! As the words shouted from Alister's mouth the pink auror circled around the soldiers and warriors he had gathered hear to destroy the beast giving them Protect, Shell, and Haste for a few minutes.
Alister felt a rush of energy as the haste began to kick in, making his movements faster. Taking out his bow he ran sideways sending arrows straight at the center of the monsters chest. One after the other, arrow flew toward Solomon's Key striking more flesh off the monster. Alister didn't know how much he would be causing with small arrows of his but he knew after time they would start to hurt. Quickly placing his bow back on his back he moved his arm forward like he was about to punch something. As his hand move did the earth around him. The ground began to shake and soon a burst of rocks came breaking through the ground and sending a burst of small sharp pieces of rock toward the monster.
Alister looked around as he saw many more dieing soldiers getting killed with a single strike from the monsters arms, or feet. With that being seen Alister moved his right hand upward toward his face and began to focus his energy through magic. From his face his hand moved straight in a right movement but fast. This motion created orange symbols circling in a circle motion. "Circle Blast! Alister shouted and moved his hand forward like he just sent burning arrows toward the monsters. The symbols erupted into flames and went flying toward the monster. As the bursts of flames flew into the air the orange flames began to transform into holly fire. On impact the each flame strucked the beast one after the other creating low fire and holly damage. Alister smiled as the beast yelled in pain but soon his arm swung at Alister. The large fist hit Alister as he flew off the ground and into a the ground knocking soldiers down with him. With a grunt noise Alister tumble onto the ground trying to concentrate. Everything went dizzy for Alister but as soon as he felt a cura spell from a flying elf he felt everything going back to normal. Standing up slowly Alister took out his bow and kept firing his arrows at the beast.
Solomon’s key; that’s the name that the denizens had given the creature that he was about to fight; Sonzai was on his Airship; half fearing that he could loose it. As h got closer and closer to the continent He saw the beast in rampage; destroying the city like there was no tomorrow.
The reports were right, the people of Lindblum had been there and the last transmission he had received since the departure of Shinra’s fleet had all been correct; and luckily for Sonzai there was still time. The two fleets were already cooperating against the monster.
One might ask why Sonzai would find himself coming from Midgar at a mere call for help, and the answer was simple, Sonzai was running on odd jobs again when he had been hired to deliver some packages before meeting with Shinra’s fleet in order to help them carry portions of the vast amounts of Mako energy that the research team had found.
Sonzai had really nothing better to do, to think that the life of an adventurer would always be action was not something that he really had in mind, however; soon enough he realized that no matter how odd the job was, or how peaceful it seemed, sooner or later he would find himself facing a beast of enormous powers while he traveled.
The coward nobleman sat on his ship thinking if he should fight the monster or not, usually Sonzai would not even have cared about these things of these people; as long as his life was not in danger; but the continent of cetra… It was a continent of great importance. Cetrans are able to speak with the worlds and its spirits; loosing such valued people, Sonzai could not bear thinking how it would feel like to loose the complete ability to have a world’s story be retained intact because of the cetrans.
Yes, many might not have thought of it this way, but in a way Cetrans could be considered great historians of the worlds since they were the ones with the ability to speak with planets and spirits of the old. Lost and ancient civilizations could be discovered in an easier way by these people, and most importantly, secrets of the worlds could be uncovered by Cetrans if the situation was dire enough that it required so. In short, to Sonzai Cetrans could be considered great heroes of untold knowledge if their abilities were used correctly.
Although he feared for his life, the more Sonzai thought about it, the better it looked for him to fight. If he did he would have less of a problem in the future, the now and the later would rather look dim to him if he were to flee and not help. If the Cetrans were to not survive this attack, then he would never be able to get out if there was something that the ancients hid to keep the world safe, for the locations would be unknown to anybody and chances of finding such locations would be close to zero, add a small window of time to retrieve such things and you would end up with a 99.90 percent chance of death; with no chances of survival.
Sonzai had stared at the beast for a while now as he looked at everything around him. A press of the button; a few taps on the command center to the airship, and the ship started to run on Autopilot.
The purple dressed red mage walked out and got on the roof of the airship as he looked at where the enemy was. Could he even control the airship’s movement? Sonzai took out a small black apparatus that looked like a control remote as he extended his right hand to the side. A scythe had sun and grown on Sonzai’s hand. A click of the control remote and suddenly the airship stopped moving; every other airship on top had finally been close enough for Sonzai to jump from ship to ship until he got to the monster; his own airship backed up somewhere behind where it would most probably be safe from most attacks.
Sonzai started to jump from ship to ship as he got closer to the beast, jumping atop the snowy white flakes that were falling on him bits and bits of his mana were being sapped into him as he was exposed to this. Upon further inspection Sonzai noticed that it was not snow; the residue felt different to him compared to the soft and fluff snow he was accustomed to see. Whatever it was he thought of it as a good thing; he would need all the help possible to do anything around here.
Sonzai kept on jumping from ship to ship as he started to get closer and closer to the beast, as he started to see the monster more clearly through the snow substance that made visibility just a bit more difficult than usual Sonzai noticed that the beats was similar to the one he had seen destroying another city sometime ago, a striking resemblance, almost as if the original monster that had dropped those seeds had mutated and become what he was looking at. The beast was colored green of envy, and had a dragon-like image. At the same time the torso looked like that of a knight, looking even closer Sonzai noticed that it also looked like a hydra. To Sonzai the monster was… indescribable.
“Wizardly Slash” Said Sonzai as his scythe started to glow a faint hue of Icy blue and fiery orange; the two colors coexisting together in an almost harmonious state, and yet the energies showed a chaotic flow to them. A single slash, a jump on to another ship, these were moves that Sonzai made his way toward the beast that was flying before him. Slowly inching closer to the monster Sonzai tried to maneuver over the hydra-like heads that were extended from the monster’s body.
A head came toward him, like an extended arm made out of rubber, Sonzai wondered how the monster’s skin could do that as he jumped up and dodged the head like a jump rope, Sonzai finally made his way toward the monster, the task alone which felt like an accomplishment to Sonzai.
As Sonzai stoop atop one of the closest ships to the monster a secondary mouth came zooming toward him. Sonzai slashed at the tentacle with mouth thing that had attempted to attack it with his ice fire imbued scythe; hoping that at least it could cause some sort of extra damage; hoping that a weakness would be revealed.
The head acted as if it received some damage, moving quickly toward the left as it was hit and slowly moving back into position the tentacle moved toward Sonzai with its mouth open wide. Sonzai though that it was attempting to eat him, he quickly flinched and placed the scythe in front of him as he blocked the mouth, at the same time trying not to get his weapon pulled out of his hands. Sonzai was holding on to his weapon as if he was holding on to dear life, he felt as if he was being overpowered. “Fire!” yelled Sonzai as he threw a ball of fire toward the creature, the let the scythe go abruptly, making Sonzai fall on the airship.
Slowly staggering Sonzai attempted to get up and keep his balance, fighting on a few thousand miles above the earth surface was not looking too bright for him. The mouth was at it again, in a zigzag motion it zoomed toward Sonzai, shortly after reaching his position the tentacle acted as a whip as it used the side of its body to hit Sonzai on the side.
Seeing what the monster was trying to do Sonzai spun the scythe parallel to him and made the blade face the tentacle as it approached him. The tentacle hit the blade and quickly flinched back. Sonzai saw an opportunity grow out of this and quickly moved sideways as he spun the scythe back to its original position.
Sonzai slashed downward at the monster and followed the chain up with a quick upper-slash at the tentacle, ending up with a full twist with a ring of fire ice surrounding him, which expanded toward the tentacle hit it and broke off into a secondary blade which headed directly at Solomon’s key.
The blades that had collided into the monster expanded up and created small explosions as it made contact with the monster. It didn’t matter that he was not nearly as powerful as the other members present, but he was willing to do enough damage to help out. He would not let the Cetrans’s home continent die, for their deaths would not be worth it.
[-color=purple]Can this thing even be defeated?[/color] thought Sonzai with disdain

OOC: I am not sure what Malice meant by round but I'm assuming that each post is 1k+ because for the Mana fall ability that states how characters will be sapped of HP and the targets are people whose word count actually adds life points to the monster. If i am wrong please correct me.
It had finally been found. Shinra's dream for what seemed like a millenia had finally come true. A land filled with mako. And of course they wanted to be the first there. Making sure that they had their foot planted firmly in its soil. To build Neo Midgar. Roll in the profits. And suck up as much mako energy as they could from the land. Sephiroth was personally curious to see just what this " promised land" looked like. There had been so much hype from the suits upstairs and of course from the science department. Including the fool Hojo who so wanted to get his hands on one of the research specimens they found inside the promised land. To see the effects of high mako output on the loca flora and fauna.
There would of course likely be trouble once they got there. Monsters were stronger in areas with a high mako concentration. That was one of the reasons Soldier was being mobilised. Another reason was, that with mobilisation comes leaks, and with leaks comes competition. Particularly from those who didn't support the sue of Mako. Places like Galbadia. And Lindblum.
Once about the airship Highwind he found a place to sit, whilst the Soldier representative began to lay out the information concerning what each operative was to do. Clear out monsters and prepare the site for Mako Reactors was the main mission. Of course that was before they got there. Looking down from atop Sephiroth couldn't help but feel a sense of....da ja vo.....almost as if he had been here before. The view from the mountain of the large northern crater was certainly beautiful. But it wasn't something to interest him so much. What interested him more was even as he thought. Appearing over the horizon.
Alarms started to fire up as other airships moved slowly into the vicinity.
Although soundly built. He could tell from here that these airships wern't as technologically advanced as Midgars. And the only other continent to have a fleet that size...was Lindblum. Talks went sour. It was expected. Shinra had been looking for this place for years on end . And wern't about to let a fleet of wooden ships stop them. It was likely that the electric giant was going to pull out all the stops on this conflict. But....it was over before it even began.
From the crater emerged a huge monster. The silver haired devil looked on in awe, as did most of the others. Nothing but a mere smile creeping up his face as he saw the Beast emerge from the so called Promised Land.
Alarms went off. Of a different kind. Battle alarms. Within seconds the thing decimated several airships. And Sephiroth made his way to the deck of the airship. He saw someone from one of the other airships jump onto the Beast in an attempt to do battle with it. And Sephiroth imagined that he would join this brave one. He drew his blad, the other soldiers looking on in awe as he jumped onto the guard rail, and then pushed off, falling towards the monster.
He landed on what could be considered the monsters arm. Driving his sword halfway to the hilt into a vile boil looking part of the monster. Blood errupted upwards as he withdrew the blade running up to its shoulder. Its hand moved to make a swipe at him as he reached the shoulder. But his blade worked faster. Each swipe brought forth death, severaling the fingers of the monster, causing it to flinch backwards in pain.

“Maintain a safe distance, just as in Lindblum. Come close for the attack then retreat.” August commands through the brass voice tubes that jut down from the bottom of the hull to the small observation platform that rests under the keel of the Hijrah. August sets up the Eastern Star in the forward stands, locking it down and priming the quick release after the ship passes so that he may switch to another stanchion. Once the rifle is set, August steps back to observe the monstrosity from the safety of his airship, beside him is Kane holding August’s drink.
“Kane, the drink.” Kane obliges, handing the glass off to August, upon which he takes a long swig. “Ahh, beautiful. Look at its form, Kane. A being of unsurpassed power and beauty that evolving with every passing minute; if this being is in a constant state of evolution with ever increasing power, I fear what form it may bring next – fear and a strange sense of curiosity.”
Heeding the call from Regent Cid for any able-body and airship available to assist in the destruction of this monster, August and the Hijrah have arrived shortly after the first wave from Lindblum begun its, tragically, failed assault. Now, having come into formation with the regrouped wave of airships, the Hijrah prepares for its attack. Soon the ships intertwine, buzzing around the giant monstrosity like flies on cattle, coming in close then quickly veering away when the creature bats them away in a dangerous game.
“Bring her in.” August calls into the tube, followed momentarily by the Hijrah swooping within range of giant creature. He sets himself upon the Eastern Star, waiting for the vessel to streak across the beast’s front. With the flailing of the creature’s appendages, the blasting and destruction around him, August unleashes his first attack. Firing several short bursts from the ray gun, he belts the creature on several spots, testing its reaction. It seems far to occupied with those that were ballsy enough to jump onto the thing for a ride. The vessel comes around for another attack, August charging the Eastern Star for its next burst. It glows red hot, waves of heat emanating off its metal components. The ship comes in close, August takes aim and fires.
Widow’s Son v.3: The Eastern Star unleashes a devastating wave-burst of energy, infused with the power of Flare and Mist. It rips into the beast’s head with a powerful kick. The attack even causes the Hijrah to dramatically sway from the recoil. Those riding the creature may be wary as the shot spreads and anyone close enough to the creature’s head and shoulders could be affected by Heat and Flare.
August and Kane quickly slide to the railing, thrown off their feet by the force of the Eastern Star’s blast. They both grab a hold of it with a thud and wait for the Hijrah to stabilize. Once it has, they look to each other and chuckle slightly. “Heh…” With a sadistic little smile, like a psychopath on the warpath. “Oh ya!” He jumps to his rifle, pulls the quick release and switches it to a new stand. Though, as August sets it up, smacking it into the eye and setting the pin, one of the monstrosity’s mouthed tentacles snaps out at the Hijrah’s undercarriage. August dives away from the snapping maw as Kane stands fast, rearing his meaty fist, then sends it plowing into the hungry tentacle as it comes upon him. It yelps and retreats back like a rubber band stretched too far.
August looks to Kane from the deck, bewildered. “You just… HAH! Someone’s getting a treat! Here, help me up.” He offers Kane his arm and they return back to the battle.

Validor was now running up the monster's torso as more of the vine like monstrocities came after him. Though there weren't as many as there were before, since more warriors decided to come in and help banish the monster from the crater.
Two heads zoomed in trying to snap, with their jaws opened wide right on Validor. Their eyes glowed bright yellow illuminating the monster's features in an frightening yellowish glow. Validor jumped up vertically and did an aerial spin and launching his sword straight at one of the heads, hitting it right in the forehead an nearly splitting it in half. The light faded from its eyes as Voix de la Terra zoomed right back into Validor's possession. The second monster head kept making its way towards making a lunge at him. Which collided with the blade of his sword making a clear ringing sound in the air that likely everyone could hear. Quickly before it snapped again Validor did a quick aerial dodge right on top to its head. He then started spining it again and then while it was still spining he sent into his head using it as some sort of buzz saw. The head feel off and the body became lifeless as Validor leaped upward onto part of its torso.
He took rest for several moments to gaze at several of the new arrivals. There were several attacks on the beast which actually seemed to be taking damage. Airships seemed to be at a safe distance for now, both ships from Lindblum and Midgar. However there were some braver airship captains that were a little too close and were firing upon the monster. That was when he saw it. He quickly leaped far gripping on to the creatures' spiky like body formations as a bright explosion appeared right where he was. One of the airships had fired a missle upon the beast. The beast seemed to quiver a bit however it still stood and roared loudly. Validor quickly pulled himself up, and then started sprinting up the monster again towards the creatures orb like structure on his chest. Though it looked like a significant danrgerous place to be, it seemed the most likely spot on the monster besides its face to be the weak point.
How'd this monster get so big without anyone noticing?
He kept running however the vine like monstocities were making another come back. They had found him and were soon making their way towards him with great speed. Validor put out his hand and shot out several aero spells that ended up cutting them, but only hindering them. He was almost to the chest, and they kept coming. Validor would slash and slas and it seemed they kept on coming. This beast was full of surprises. It seemed that this beast had the power of regeneration in its possession. The Vine like snake beasts were making great use of it. Soon he was surrounded by three and all three lunged at him. Validor quickly gathered energy in his legs and leaped extremely far, back onto one of the monster's arms. the three heads bumped into each other and angrily snapped at each other before turning attantion back to Validor, who now had somewhat horizontal ground on which to fight on. The first one lunged at him and he side stepped and in one mighty slash he decapitated it, ending its shortlived life. Then the second one came in as gigantic teeth clashed with large sword. He then rolled to the side and stabbed it into its eye and then making two other mighty slashes and cutting its head into fouthes as the snake like body fell lifeless downward. Validor had barely anytime to react before the last one came at him. He closed his eyes as the snake creature opened its fearsome jaws almost around him.
"AERO!!!"
Swords of air went through its mouth slashing everything up inside of it with sharp wind power. The snake paused right before chomping down on Validor and then like the other two pummeted downward. Validor, covered in sweat breathed heavily. He had almost died, and was about to be large monster chow. He shook his head and then continued running up the arm toward its chest.
He made several large slashes at its arms creating decent sized slashes on the gigantic monster's arm. He kept at it hoping to do some damage along with stabbing the sword deep into it and yanking it out as he ran. He watched as other warriors that had come to fight had strong magical abilities or otherwise to attack the monster with. It seemed they were accomplishing a whole lot more than he was.
It was then Validor nearly fell as a huge energy wave hit the monster right in the face making the monster roar out in pain as the energy concussion blast hit it and causing the airship to recoil backwards. Validor quickly stabbed Voix de lat Terra into the monster and held on for dear life as it quivered and moved around angrily with rage. It finally calmed down a bit then Validor pulled himself upward with a sigh of relief and continued his run towards the orb.
He had then finally made it after a few more minutes, to the chest area, the area where the orb was. He was standing on one of its spiky body formations. He looked upwards toward the beasts greusome green face with teeth ten times larger than Validor was. Its eyes glowed bright red with hatred and great power. Validor grimaced. Everything seemed so impossible at the moment. What could ha possibly do against this beast. even with their numbers bolstered, they didn't seem to be making much progress in defeating the thing. And it was quite possible that this thing could regenerate as well, like its weird snake/vine like groths on it that all seemed to be carnivorous and hungry for the fellow fighters that were battling th beast around him. He sighed and then began focusing on one part at a time.
He quickly built up energy preparing himself for a dash. He then readied his sword and looked to see if the snake like beasts were going to cause him any trouble. He then quickly dashed as he quickly could to one of its spiky formations and kept repeating this untill he was right in front of the beast's orb and then dashed across it slicing across it. Though it didn't seem to make much of an slice or gash, is did seem to hurt it because it shuddered, and then looked directly at him. Validor' eyes widened as more snake like vines swarmed him like flies. He kept dashing and sending out aero spells while quickly dashing from formation to formation towards its right arm.
He finally made it and landed after an aerial spin slash cutting on of the snake like creature's heads off. He breathed heavily starting to become fatigued with dealing with thiese things. His movements were already starting to slow. One of the hydra like heads made a lunge with its teeth sharp and gelaming and slashed Validor across his right shoulder causing a gash. He cried out loud in pain and slashed down on it killing it.
He then started spinning his sword with the cloth again like a spinning saw. If one got to close the rapidly spinning sword cut the head to bits. Soon they were all gone and Validor kneeled down grabbing part of its thorny formations to keep from falling. He held Voix de la Terra with his right arm, as he looked at the deep wound. He grimaced and then exhaled deeply from the pain. Hie bright blue eyes focused back onto the orb as he made a successful attempt to standand then switch Voix de la Terra to his left hand. He then readied again for another dash and then started dashing across and made another slash across the orb causing more damage. The monster roared, but not agonizingly. Validor could not tell if this was a weakspot or not. It was sort of frustrating. He then landed back on the left arm. He was really starting to become tired.
Can we defeat this thing.....Terra....
...It is possible....
He sighed again. He then stabbed Voix de la Terra into its skin and grabbed on to it incase it moved. He decided to make a small break for himself to conserve some energy hopefully a healer would run into him and heal his wound.
SeeD too, had had their deployment, true and official this time. He dreaded hearing the word 'official', too - it meant one serious problem for him.
Instead of his usual vestments, he was wearing his 'traditional' SeeD uniform, complete with blues and golds and whatnot. Considering how messy and chaotic the boy was, it was a wonder that it even managed to look quite so good. Though, of course, there was one variation between his uniform and the uniform of every OTHER SeeD member...
he had a hole in the but, where his tail poked through.
Regardless, he had been on a boat that was on it's way - and that had almost been. He'd been lucky enough to be on the front bow of the deck, clutching his weapon, trying to evaluate just how bad this was going to get. He'd been counting ships on the 'opposing' side, as well, just in case that was going to be dangerous.
Then he saw the beam.
Eyes widened, and as horrible as it was, hundreds, if not thousands of men died around him, as ships erupted in to flame and debris. No doubt, this was part of it's plan - the closer they were in proximity, the easier it would be to destroy large chunks of either fleet, killing countless numbers of warriors that were currently mobilizing to defeat it.
The young SeeD gritted his teeth a bit.
This... well, this was no good.
The ship crawled closer, and his eyes flicked around the battlefield that was already starting to take place. He could see people closer, assaulting it as he planned on doing, and he could see spells being thrown at it from a distance. That, of course, made him nervous - he really didn't want to be caught in between the creature and a big fireball or something.
Nodding gently, he let out a vague whisper of his own 'power', and Pyreflies began to gingerly dance about his figure. His body started hovering, and he could feel all the various increases to his own speed, and strength. He also knew the added defenses that were now part of him, simply by the soft glows that were now added to his aura.
He spotted a healer - a man with wings? - and also managed to see, from above, the lashes of violent, teeth-wielding appendages that were heading right for him and the men who were still recovering from being brought back to life.
Glancing back towards the captain of the ship, he gave a little wave - and dove off the ship. Immediately he was falling, albeit decidedly slower than he'd originally anticipated. He then realized that Float was slowing him down enough to keep him from taking any damage upon landing. It was great! Not to mention the fact that he didn't have to teleport. Interesting to note, as well, but as he sped downwards, he streaked soft tendrils of light behind him, and Pyreflies danced downward with him.
Slowly but surely, the Pyreflies simply increased in number - he was glad to see all of the pretty lights roaming around his figure, and steadily spreading outward. While the Pyreflies did not benefit everyone, they were still friggin' pretty, and no doubt would be quite a sight to see, considering the fact that some of the survivors had probably never seen Pyreflies before.
He started spinning his Spearshot, and, as the wraithlike figures of those sharp-toothed tentacles crept up to assault the angel-winged man, he came down on the first one. His blade severed cleanly through half of it's mouth, neatly splitting it in to two equally useless tentacles.
Spinning sharply, the monkey-tailed boy continued his vicious and heavily lethal assault, moving much quicker than he might be had he not been affected by Haste. His aura left little trails of light that seemed to illuminate the blood and ichor that sprayed with each of his cuts and slashes. He didn't even have to pull the trigger, yet - these things were more fleshy than the rest of him looked.
He hovered in the air, apparently unphased by the fact that he was not actually touching earth, yet still moving with full control over his faculties. Spinning about, he decapitated, if one would call it that, the last of the offending tentacular creatures.
His eyes dropped to the healer, and he dropped to a knee, aligning his thoughts. He'd been studying at the Garden for this specific reason.
"Look, if y'gotta pause... don't stop on the battlefield. You're helpful, but don't... die." He grinned, easily.
Behind him, the Pyreflies were doing an odd little dance, and more and more of the Pyreflies he'd summoned were floating together. His concentration never wavered.
Soon, the only Pyreflies on the field were the ones that were directly surrounding Asher, as the rest had amalgamated in to a floating mass. With one final mental effort, he nodded.
"Be careful, alright!"
He turned, to his new friend.
The largest of beasts he'd ever called, it was what he'd read as a King Behemoth. A real threat in Spira, from everything he read - there'd be no reason now for it to not be a threat here, too.
Not to mention the thing towered over him and the rest of the men, growling. Looking up at it, he lifted a hand and hopped up to grab the thing's massive handpaw. It tugged, and he was suddenly seated on the giant monster's shoulder.
"Big thing's our target. No hurtin' anyone else, okay?" He whispered to it. It made an imperceptible grunt, but charged. It covered a lot of ground, with Asher in tow - he actually lifted his Spearshot overhead and cheered... after all, what the hell kind of kid wouldn't enjoy a ride like this?!
Considering the size, the muscular, gray, Fiend was incredibly agile, capable of weaving around the vine-like protrusions that came at them. That's not to say he did - massive feet came down with all the force of a vehicle, easily squishing those things.
"Destroy it with everything you have!" He yelled, before launching himself up and forward, now that he was within leaping distance. He spun his Spearshot again, and brought it down with all of his considerable might on the thing's left knee. Had it been human, this would have been a debilitating blow, as he tugged the trigger as well, releasing a bullet in to it's armored hide.
He wanted nothing more than to slow this thing down, knowing full and well his own abilities were not nearly as destructive as some of the powers he'd seen from the rest of the assembled warriors. But he also knew he was good at what he did.
Noting with mild interest that Val was close by, he gritted his teeth tugging his blade back, sending bone shards and bloody spray outward. AND on to his SeeD uniform! He could only imagine that one couldn't clean that out of the clothes, and he'd never have to wear the uniform again!
Eyes focused on movement just slightly above him - a hand no doubt meant to get the thing that was assaulting it's knees. He pounced away with unnatural, Haste-increased speed, and landed... directly on the thing's other knee. He grinned with a little bit, as he pulled a very similar move, smashing the thing's knee, easily puncturing the bone-like armour. He could break stone and steel under the right conditions, bone wasn't hardly anything worth worrying about... provided he had bullets to fire.
He had to use that momentum to get away, though, as the distance between knees was far too close. He landed back on the ground next to his Behemoth, who was doing something weird.
Finally, with a roar that shook the earth beneath Asher's feet, it finished whatever it was doing. Almost immediately, non-elemental magic went to work, coalescing over the knee that Asher had hit first, leading up to a massive Flare spell, that did hella more damage than Asher alone had, exploding outward. If nothing else, that would certainly stop the thing from moving for a good minute or so - unless, of course, it started healing.
He grinned darkly. Yeah, he liked his new friend.

Solomon's Key Actions
Autoregeneration Activated. 1000 words of health restored.
Despite your attacks, it seemed that it was a long way off before Solomon's Key would be defeated. It was obviously far more powerful that it was before. It raised up its arms. With that, large walls of water appeared on either side of the fleets....it brought down its arms, the walls crashing in. Several airships were destroyed....
[ Wrath of the Red Sea: Collateral Damage increases!]
The core on its chest began to glow.....power was gathering in for the ultimate attack!
The demon sighs standing on the top of an airship only moments after the beast had unleashed such a powerful attack. The demon had remained silent watching this beast patiently to see what it would do, he could already taste the fear in the air around him both sides of this battle where terrified of Solomon's key and so they should be, it had tremendous power that only the old Gaia could quickly qwell, the new gaia didn't stand a chance at beating this beast without major losses. Still the demon had stood there on the top of an airship just watching the beast, that picture he had seen had brought back something the demon did not want to recall, the name on the grave was a name of a woman who had ruined the world, had killed a puppet that had cut her strings before then moving on to find a new puppet to play with so he couldn't rush into this assault on his own, without thinking first, without scouting out the beast that stood infront of him.
"Morona... have you truely fallen this far?"
The demon whispers to the cold air behind him, but the demon could hear something softly in the back of his mind... It wasn't a thought of his own and the demon knew this sensation from a long time ago, the demon wasn't completely surprised by this and sighs spread out his wings wide above the airship before he steps forward off of the airship and curls around the beast using his wings to cut through the air making him look like a natural flyer.
"So I see... that delusion is here too"
He mutters softly stopping infront of the beasts face, holding his two hands up in the air infront of his eyes for a moment as his lips starts to move incredibly quickly as he mutters words so fast that they burn at the air itself as the demons fingers disappeared in the air, to all but Miumi, Blue and any demons who seemed to be watching who would see the demon's fingers peirce through reality and reappear behind the beast. The demon's lips continue to move ever faster the air around him heating up rapidly cuasing the air to glow and steam as his fingers slipped further through realities boundaries cutting through the void.
The demon's lips seem to stop moving rapidly, yet only seconds later his laughter echos in the air as he revels in the restoration of some of his true power... the power of teleportation. The demons muscles tensen as he swipes a cirle in the air with his hands, to which most people would see the stubs of the demons arm swing around in the air but to those chosen few they would see the demon cut away a circle of reality in the air before he withdraws his hands from it showing a circle of reality surrounded by an outline of something else.
"good good"
He licks his lips and pushes his hand onto the cut reality which just evoporates into nothing leaving in the sky a largish portal from infront of the beast to behind the beast that only Muimi, Blue and demon would be able to see at all. The demon then pulls his right hand back to the side of his as if he was going to punch something however that was not the demons intent he had something much much nastier in store. In his left hand the demon grasps the hilt of the Eden and withdraws it from its sheath and points it towards the beast before him.
The demon then breathes in deeply as a orb of purple light appears infront of his the fist and the tip of eden and inside the middle of the portal, quickly growing in size, tripling in size in seconds going from a speck of nothing to the size of a football and then continuing to grow larger and larger as the Mega-Flare charges. As it charges everyone would see half of it forming infront of the beast and then vanishing as the other half appears behind the beast, the edges of the flare sparking violently as they push open the portal wider and wider as the energy starts to warp dangerously, now the size of an airship at least the orb of energy hovered in the sky infront and behind the beast. Then the demon closes his eyes as he lets out a glass shattering roar as the Mega-flare is fired off through the portal and at the key's back the energy filling the distance between the portal behind the beast and its back so fast it almost appeared to have happened seconds before it actually did. Once again some of the energy twisting from the path curling around the pommel of the Eden as it absorbs the energy into it while the rest is tearing through the creatures armor and hitting it hard with the might of the dragon king doing a good portion of damage, the demon however doesn't open his eyes instead he rushes straight into the portal behind the mega flare, grinning as he seals the portal's exit and entrance as he enters leaving him in the void allowing him to enjoy what he was about to do next.
"This is great"
He says as he opens his eyes seeing the number 3 fade from Edens pommel, the demon still unsure of what that mean't extactly however he thrusts the tip of the eden into the viod before he, piercing through into reality once more this time positioned right infront of the beasts core as he smiles and widens the portal enough that his hand could fit through, this portal could only be seen from one side, which was facing the core. The demon flows backwards in the void and points towards the open portal and smiles softly as a small purple orb appears infront of the tip of Eden once again and slowly starts to grow larger and large once more, the demon planning to hit the coure directly from the front now while hidden safely in the void a cheap move however the demon wanted to test something about the void first hand rather than rely upon second hand knowledge, for safety reasons.

T hose icy blue hued eyes were widening quite rapidly, as he watched as those massive limbs were being raised into the sky as he flew towards the beast. Then all at once suddenly the arms slammed down towards Miumi, he just focused veering sharply to the right as they went they were sprialing and twisting so rapidly their figure seemed to blur slightly. As they managed to escape the wraith of the arm suddenly a loud crash was heard as if it had just knocked a very air-ship from the sky. His attention was purely on this very event. AS suddenly water shot upwards he spiraled sharply to one side to avoid the pikes of water but then there was the water that came back down. He bit his lips it felt like he was being hit with bullets and bricks. He focused spreading his body out to protect Valefor who gave cries of pain and something that looked almost like tears could be seen sliding from it's eyes. As Miumi crawled forward just gingerly stroking the side of it's beak to help it forget some of the pain what-ever the hell this thing was. Miumi would slaughter it as he spiraled around some more of the water. His hands clenched as they flew forward doing an arc. He noticed something that seemed out of place on the body. He swore it hadn't bene like that when he first attacked. There was a glowing orb it seemed to concern Miumi for some reason though.
As he felt weightless the only thing keeping him on Valefor at the moment was his tight grip on the feathers as they spiraled he saw some of the ships that had been hit were going down or exploding the sky was lighting up as if some god were filling it with fire works. As he looked down he saw something that intrigued him gliding lower to the ground as he began to think of how to deal with that glowing. As he flew down he would fly past someone who looked like an angel. MIumi's head turned and those icy eyes froze on the other for the briefest moment as before he had Valefor flap his mighty wings sending them flying high nto the sky. The angel might of seen him or just felt the high pressured wind. As he flew up higher he observed something there was an airship. Another rat like man but this one wasn't Clive, he knew this man he had seen the man blast the creature while he felt bad for those who he had noticed were clinging to the beast's hide they were brave or stupid. As he closed his eyes they would widen revealing the snow white essence of life and death. As he also noticed another familiar figure it was that flamboyant little boy known as Asher. But something was different he watched as pyreflies had been swarming the boy they were all changing yet Miumi felt as if he had never changed at all.
Suddenly the boy brought forth a creature he stood in awe and watched this was truly an amazing spectacle to see. He wasn't a summoner yet he brought forth this beast. As he also seemed to take notice to the newer face he hadn't had the time to observe before. As his eyes focused on the core he noticed that there was a figure near it meaning whatever that Miumi did would have to be precise as he took a few calming breaths trying to think of which spell to use since the glow could be heat or energy it was such a complicated moment. He focused having Valefor fly away from something it seemed that one of the air-ships was the one he had been on he watched as it made a rather loud crackling and it splintered but he just covered his face as suddenly a loud boom and torrent of flames flew upwards spiraling dangerously. The soft look on his face displayed remorse and pain it was obviously he was glad he hadn't bee on the ship but hte pain of loss was there. IT was like that man Zero, slaughtering people when they were helpless and then having the nerve to make threats. He would one day get Zero back when he least expected it. He actually realized he felt a presence that was vaguely familiar. It was the man known as Belzera so soon theh unt had began.
Miumi's eyes scanned the terrain for that man who was yet another Lucavi, one of greater power then even Miumi could hope to obtain. A far distant figure oculd be seen seeming to have appeared merely out of no where in a flicker of flesh and clothing. He realized who it was it was the man who he was contracted to. His eyes closed and he seemed to project his thoughts. His vocie might ring out within the other's mind simply speaking something it seemed delicate and questiontive? "Does something trouble you my lord?" While silence greeted MIumi's mind and he watched as the other's wings spread wide, their leathery nature shown they were often used as he took the sky. Miumi watched how he moved with such ease and grace. As the other just simply smiled and grinned he realized that the man was going to attack remembering how the woman he was always with had dealt with the other. A small smirk adored his lips as he focused he knew his path off attack for some reason. Miumi watched his master move and sway as he realized that part of him had that power and he remembered the kilo-flare. It would bring that creature to the ground as he had his idea. It was a sick and twisted but it was one that could very well stop whatever was charging. This was just another day wihtin the life of Miumi. But his eyes were glued to Belzera for some reason as if a magical force had captured his head and wouldn't let him advert his gaze.
He watched as his lord simply flew to the front of the beast and it had all just begun the beginning of the end of this battle. The other's lips began to move so rapidly that Miumi found himself stumbling over the syallbus's they had begun to produce as Miumi tried to piece together what they were saying but to no anvil thus far. Suddenly the other's fingers seemed to disappear for a moment Miumi seemed to stare in confusion until he saw it there was a very rip in the streams of reality it seemed. Scanning the area he noticed that those long slender fingers had appeared behind the creature it was all just beginning it seemed as the other's movements became more intricate. Small lines of vapor were wising from Belzera's body indicating the change in heat between the thing he was closest to the air and himself meaning the other was getting hotter. Soon a dull glow began to fill the area around Belzera, casting dangerous looking shadow's upon his body giving those features a more grim and set tone which brought a small smile to the lips of Miumi. This man had the power to gift his gifts to others and help them bring back their dead beloved ones. But there was the cost as Miumi reached back idly tracing the pattern of the tattoo. This would be good.
He watched as more of his master's hands began to disappear deeper into the void and steam wisped dangerously upon his body, his lips moved faster until his dark menacing laughter filled the air. It was good for them but bad for whatever the hell this creature was as the voice of Belzera seemed to mean the end of whatever stood before him. He watched as all of the muscles within Belzera's body seemed to tense as if it were all one working system and then the swipe of his arms, some only saw the stubs that were left while his hands were cutting away the very fabrics of reality. It was probally very powerful time magic. Soon the man's hands retracted from the circle of magic and it left Miumi wondering what had he done as he could see there was something almost pulsating along the outside was there something living within that rift. Questions seemed to lace over his body and pull his thoughts away as he watched. He could see the other's lips moving this time they were slow enough he could read what they were saying it was a word of approvement it seemed. Soon the cut disappeared it left a large portal filled with darkness among the sky. It seemed to have something inside of it that maybe only Miumi heard. There were screams that reached a banshee like tone causing the boy to grasp his head and clutch his ears in an attempt to keep himself from going insane.
"Milord what are you doing?
O nce he had managed to draw Eden from seemingly no where, he watched as he saw the other charging up something three small orbs mere specs formed and they began to grow in mere seconds turning into almost foot ball sized orbs of power. Even from here Miumi felt hte power which radiated deep within the purple hued orbs. Soon it was becoming apparently that now everyone could see the power that his lord had managed to obtain as large orbs formed in front of the beast before they seemed to mysteriously vanish without a trace. But then Miumi noticed from behind it the power of it was still growing. The orbs began to spark dangerously as the very rift was being pushed open wider causing small frays to form within the sky that Miumi saw were healing up. It was at this time that MIumi realized that they were firing. As the orbs crashed into the beast with that deafening roar. He watched as the body seemed to burn and flail slightly a few people were thrown off and a few were shielded. Slowly Miumi closed his eyes and called upon the power of their contract it flowed like liquid ecstasy through his veins he felt no more worry only power as his hands cracked dangerously as he reached towards something. Suddenly an orb began to form within his hands transferring his magical energy to the creature on his back it was obvious that was happening. This was the true power.
As Miumi focused slowly the orb began to crackle it was different from the other's orb, Miumi's had whitish tints to it and it felt hot to the touch like liquid magma. As he let it hover within his palm it was obvious that it was growing as the heat seemed to expand. Slowly he felt something coiling around his hands before it pushed the orb up slightly higher. Arcs of electrical energy could be seen running along the outside causing the glow to be tainted with purple, blue and yellow. As they were fusing together there were shocks of energy burning within the kilo-flare. While then the energy of the lightning had filled the inside as well as begun to grow on the outside causing random bolts of lightning to flow back and forth forth from the hands of both users connecting them. While soon he called upon Valefor. This wasn't anywhere near being completed. As he looked down upon the eyes of Valefor who seemed to nod his head in response calling upon it's mana reserves. Slowly it's eyes would snap open showing a slightly blood hungry glare. Soon a chill that was undeniable had begun to cirlce around him small shards of ice and snow glittered harmlessly within his hands. This was an elemental fusion it seemed, the fire that was the flare, the coldness of blizzard and the shock of the electrical energy. As he looked at the orb noticing a figure was near it. He just shook his head they still hadn't seemed to have moved just yet.
Suddenly Miumi squeezed his hand the power burned his skin yet left no signs of it's damage as it seemed to just be eatting away at his spiritual energy. As he just focused he would raise the orb above his head so that everyone could see it. Then it expanded and contracted at random and the power was visible as it glowed blinding white before going as black as the very depth of the beast's heart. Suddenly it slid from Miumi's hand and it began to fly towards it's target but Valefor flew after it slamming it's wings sending an almost hurricane gail after it. IT caused it to go downwards they would see what it could do to just the ground. The fire sparked and steamed against the water as it seemed to target onto the orb. It's movements sparatic and then it hit one of the tendrils suddenly hot lightning flew out burning and searing at the flesh of the creature. The beast seemed to let out it's roar. It could be heard around it. As there was a flow of what some might think was blood the orb unleashed a sudden cold wind which would freeze whatever it was. While Miumi watched his breath was uneven and it seemed like eh was going to fall over but he steadied himself ever so gently. As he watched the creature he would see that it stopped whatever it was doing.
Soon it flew towards the orb, going along any exposed flesh sending random attacks. Arcs of electrical energy cut into it's thickened plates of armored skin. It was leaving crescent marks and scars. Miumi was a violent thing it seemed but the farther it went the more it condensed as it came towards the pulsating glowing it seemed to radiate it's own power as if it seemed to know something that Miumi didn't. As the demonic child watched his vision was blurring ever so slightly it looked like he was getting tired or something. As he felt Ayamu return the power of his magic. He took in a deep breath as the refreshing flows of mana through his veins caused his eyes to glow with a sense of alertness that hadn't just been there a few moments ago. He made a gesture and Valefor began to fly after the orb it seemed that Miumi wasn't going to stop until he knew that beast was dead as they went down closer to the water. With a flap of the those fleshy wings the water seemed to ripple as their bodies blurred and the orb and Miumi passed one another by and Miumi and the group were hovering above the creature. Suddenly he smiled and focused closing his eyes as the orb came closer he could sense the orb had the power he could use to stop it. Suddenly the orb began to release a near inhuman sound which probably caused alot of people to clutch their ears.
Suddenly the orb collided with the glowing orb of the creature. For a moment all was still as the orbs pushed against one another with ferocity glowing an almost super nova as the thing seemed to be getting ready to fire as Miumi clutched Valefor's hair as the orb condensed brightly till it was merely a marble in size. Suddenly it let out all of it's rage. Beams of icy wraith flew up and down the creature's body in a spectacle that looked almost beautiful. The lake water below had frozen slightly leaving a path of ice which seemed to beckon people forward to strike. While the lightning shot around randomly striking the arms and legs of the creature and grazing where the eyes should of been. While it also almost hit a few of the airships which were floating carelessly to close. While they had to veer to avoid being hitten by their own attack. Suddenly he felt a sweltering heat. As Valefor let out a caw of victory as suddenly the heart began to burn around the orb, some of the skin of the creature seemed to run like liquid. It was getting hotter to. Glowing so bright that it went from a dull red to a near blinding white color mixed with hints of blue it was obvious that this creature was stubborn so soon the power began to condense again the final part of the attack was the explosion. As it turned into a tiny black orb of flames.
Suddenly it unleashed it's fury exploding outwards. Shock waves of energy flew around like beams of life and death which threatened to consume everything that even bothered to come near it's body. As the shock waves spread out all who weren't holding on tightly would feel it as the energy flew out, some of the airships shook violently as they did Valefor braced itself as did Miumi. They closed their eyes in sync as the energy hit them sending them spiraling downwards towards the water. As they fell many of the people were looking at the orb. It's glowing was still there but it was faint as if it were dying down. As Miumi fell he smirked as the beast roared in pain suddenly he looked down the water was coming in faster then he realized and suddenly his body hit it. IT felt as if every bone in his body was liquid. As he felt pain. His impact had been lessened by Valefor who was roaring in pain as the water acted like blades cutting shallow lines in Valefor. For a few moments all was silent as Miumi drifted away until the call of Ayamu awoke him and he managed to crawl upwards towards once of the icy roads, Valefor following by using it's massive wings to push the water out from under him using a spell as well. As he just stared blankly at the beast he smiled.
Minara spread his wings, flapping them madly to get the speed he wanted, wheeling around all of the remailing airships, he drew Haruki again and started trying to dart around, confusing the huge monster. Diving in and then drawing back before he hit, Minara kept feinting the monster, trying to get its attention before flying at it at full speed. Minara thrust Haruki into the monster with all his strength as he dove at full speed. Wrenching Haruki out of the monster he heard a squelching sound as blood dripped from the blade of his usually blue sword. Flying away as fast as possible to avoid a counter attack. Minara swerved to make sure it couldnt make a track of his movements, infact, he didnt know which way he would go himself. His blond hair flittered behind him and his brilliantly white wings seemed to shine even with little light.

Things were glowing! Glowing was by far the one thing that would attract his eyes - the centerpiece glittering in all of it's strange, otherworldly power. He didn't entirely know what that meant... after all, there were only so many things he could do, really, with that. This creature hadn't performed that before, that he could remember... and besides things were a little more different now. There were just so many complications with this new creature - like the tentacles.
He winced as the King Behemoth crushed one underneath a massive paw, growling in that gravely tone.
"Can you do your biggest, scariest thing on the glowy bits of that monster?" He asked the giant behemoth, who was no doubt capable of devouring Asher if he wasn't so completely bonded with Asher's will. It's eyes were wild, flicking between the boy and the target, before it snorted unhappily at the turn of events. It had only been alive for a total of two minutes, so this was just an odd turn of events for it, no doubt.
Asher, on the other hand, was quivering. The air was... thicker, somehow. The beast's knees were regenerating, which made this so very problematic. At this rate, it would be as though the creature didn't even take damage. Not to mention--
His train of thought was interrupted by a large chunk of Airship that very nearly squished him, the debris from that massive wall of water attack that had come crashing from all sides in to the Airship fleet. His body contorted strangely, as he slipped out of the way, though the Behemoth simply looked as amused as one with a wolfish, demonic face could. The fiend started building up energy once more, light and electricity crackling about it's form. Asher had no idea what was to come next.
Taking a deep breath, he used the downed Airship bits appropriately. Much like a monkey, he began scaling the thing, with a series of structured bounces, his figure twisting and bobbing in the air, so that his feet - or rather, the air beneath his feet - would act as a springboard and send him bouncing higher.
He flared his nostrils, as he reached the peak of the Airship, and threw himself forward at the creature's chest. Not directly at the glowing key, but rather, to the side by just a little bit. He was not pausing to attack, though - no, he was going to follow it up with a sharp hop, rushing upwards between spears and plates with jagged edges. It was a true feat of grace and acrobatics that had him avoiding slicing his body in to ribbons - the creature's motions were halted, apparently that glow signalling something dangerous that he had no right pondering just yet. He tore himself away from his thoughts to thrust his Spearshot directly up into the underarm of the Solomon monster.
He squeezed the trigger afterwards, to dislodge it, specifically to throw off any new decisions to throw a wave of doom at the airships, and hopefully distract the monstrocity from whatever the hell it was doing. But it served a second purpose as well - he rolled gently in the direction of the creature's arm, using built momentum to swing to the top. He climbed it's shoulders with a series of hops. Yes, he could teleport - but he would much rather escape a danger than that, considering he could easily hurt this creature in his climbing.
He rolled forward, popping up as sharply and as dangerously as he could, plunging the Spearshot in to where the monster's ear would be. At the same time, he tugged the trigger, so that the damage would simply escalate, knowing that his strength was far more than necessary to punch through this thing. Perhaps not with no effort at all, but certainly with much less than times before. He tugged the Spearshot out, and without even thinking slammed it right back where it had come from, the muzzle exploding in to the death-colored viscera within, blood spattering once more outward.
If, of course, that disgusting ook could be called blood.
He did not stay long, no, he retreated... but not sideways or off. No, he went up. He bounced high, so that he could reach the top of the creature's head. Feet managed to skid against the empty air beneath them, creating a rather interesting effect as he regained his balance, facing the direction of the creature's face.
He was able to survey the whole of the destruction from up here, right where the creature had contemplated doing it all - or perhaps didn't contemplate, as the thing may have been simply wild. He could see his King Behemoth down there, and could hear it roar, as another Flare built up around the Solomon's Key.
He grinned darkly, as the explosion of light and heat crashed against the glow, easily eating away at any death and power that it had been charging.
But the glow didn't vanish. His eyes widened, at that.
Asher screamed as loud as he could "AGAIN! Do it again!" Just in case this thing was just more resilient than anyone had initially assumed. He watched as the King Behemoth began it's tireless focusing. He didn't want to know how much casting a spell like that cost. He himself moved to the edge of the thing's skull, so he could look down in to the beast's eyes. He smiled a wide and toothy smile.
"Remember me, big boy?" He asked, trying to make his voice sound every so lascivious in tenor.
Then he drove the Spearshot as hard as he could in to that eye. He knew how problematic an eyelash could be in one's eye - so how the hell did one even function with a spear - and subsequently three rounds of ammunition - in their ocular cavities?
Surely, the thing did not have a brain - he'd done more than enough to kill a regular human and a fiend on any day of the week. So what, precisely, did this thing take? His teeth were gritting as he twisted and tugged the spearshot from the Solomon monster's eye, with enough force to send him catapulting off of the creature's face, giving his valiant effort at a rolling flail. He wished he could solidify the air beneath him at will, but no...
He allowed himself to focus. He teleported, instead, so that he was behind the left kneecap, vanishing from one point in the air where he might otherwise make an easy target, and instead existed on the opposing side of the monster's leg, where he'd already inflicted a heavy amount of damage. What he'd give to be a caster of some form - he himself was able to accomplish a lot on his own, but he still managed to feel under classed.
Granted, he hadn't seen very many displays of supreme, cosmos-bending power, either. He had to refrain from biting his tongue as he spun sharply, carving a large line through the back of the creature's leg, and going downwards toward's it's ankles... and a festering pit of those horrid tentacular creatures.
They were slimy, and they snapped up at him like they had minds of their own.
He remembered the little bugger creatures that this thing had last left them with - what sort of monstrosities would they be faced with this time? And was it these little green nasties? He let blue energy pool in to his hand and let go of the only Spell he had in his arsenal.
"Slow!" He intoned, gingerly, and the first one that had flooded upwards like waves of the sea that had just been called, became much, much slower. He smirked, as he literally landed on top of it, and leaped upwards, returning up to the bend of the creature's knee, which was met with another violent, otherwise lethal explosion from his Spearshot. He wished that he could put enough force behind it to sever the creature's leg, or something, that would be ridiculously effective, in his opinion.
Granted, it would be that much more foolish - he didn't know what kind of havoc this thing would cause. He knew of a lot of monsters that did horrible things the closer they came to death, and this... well, this had all the possibilities of being one of those. Considering the power it had already displayed, he would not want it to critical.
He could hear the calling of another monster, a giant, red-winged creature above him that was hopefully not associated with Big Green Death Machine... though based on color scheme alone, it was not so.
He would have to wonder what the balls that thing was later on in life. Vaguely, he was aware that his arms were starting to burn, and that his lungs were not quite as full as he would have liked...
But fortunately for him, the bird thing managed to stop the brilliant glow. That, at least, was a bonus.
He teleported on to the back of his King Behemoth, who exploded another Flare on the core.

Validor looked up to see that the strange summoner he had met before Miumi release a massive attack on the orb which was shining brightly ever since the battle came into full swing, and the beast became more violent, wiping out ships with waves of water, and then charging up the orb on its chest. Along with that Validor's fears became realized as he saw the beast's wounds close up a bit before him. It was true then, the beast did have regenerative properties. Validor swiftly go up.
Sigh.... I fail to see how this is possible Terra, with my powers there is no help in me really doing much damage to it....
He then pulled out his sword which the skin of the beast healed around and tugged up, revealing a large hole as blood oozed out.
This gave Validor an idea. With that he looked down into the hole Voix de la Terra had made seeing muces and super large veins that could easily be 20 times bigger than him. Validor gave a grim grin. with that he stabbed the large vein and then extended his hand and muttering the word "aero" he sent down swords of air down into the vein which slashed it all up.
Validor grinned with some happiness now. If he could send up some aero spells to a vital area inside the beast then that would be sure to hurt it wouldn't it, regardless of the weak powers Validor held at the moment.
Without further ado, he continuously fired Aero spells down into the monster allowing the swords of air to slash up the insides of the veins and head into more vital areas.
Exhausted of magical energies at the moment his attention returned to the orb on its chest. He then began his previous strategy of dashing across the monster's chest as quickly as he could using the velocity of his speed to increase the power of Voix de lat Terra's slashes. He hoisted up Voix del Terra in a battle stance and within seconds he had dash from body formation to body formation increasing his speed and then he would do a extremely fast jump and slash across the orb on its chest. It seemed to have taken damage from the Lucavi summoner's attack which aided in the slashing. As he landed he decided to go back to another tactic. He took his sword by the extremely durable cloth and then proceeded to spin his sword around again like a buzz saw. He grined as he then started dashing again across the monster with his sword spinning extremely fast. As he dash pass the orb he sent the spinning blade towards the orb sawing across the orb like a piece of wood. Shards went everywhere as a deep gash appeared like an awful scar across the orb-like structure. He continued to do this for a few more time relentlessly, though he was tired, slashing adn slcing and sawing the orb causing the monster pain. He stopped right where he started breathing heavily.
His muscles and bones were tired and his movements were becoming evne slower. The beast was becoming a pain, and it was only a matter of time before the snake like appendages of the giant titan would be after him. He then heard a deep growling as he turned around to see one of the devilish vines noticing him again. He grunted and fell to one knee as teeth and blade met each other in a clash of sparks. The beast was strong and with every powerful slash he made, he was getting even more fatigued. Validor had not been in combat for long, though he was pretty good for short battles he normall wasn't meant for long draining battles such as these. He pushed the beast back despite itssize and he grunted to himself.
"After this.....its major training time.....!"
The beast lunged at him as he swiftly dodge rolled out of the way and sliced its mouth open. Then he did a swift twirl as he stabbed Voix de la Terra into its head. His eyes were full of anger. He was tired of this disgusting beast on Cetran lands. It didn't need to spread its evil influence over Gaia anymore. He would not stand for it. He then finished it off with a diagonal mega slash scross its head making a long diagonal cut as most of its head slid off its body.
He breathed even heavier as he looked up at the fiersome beast's face. It looked like it had taken some damage from the demon who launched the mega flare at it, and all the other attacks that were released on it. validor, ignoring his tiring body started running up the beast's arm up to its face. he had another idea. It took several moments even at the speed that he was moving to get up its broad shoulders and over to its gigantic head. He prepared himself, sending a slight prayer to Gaia before preparing to do the stunt he was about to pull. He leaped up in the air right in front of his face. Voix de la Terra then started to shimmer green with mako energy flying out of it. Validor's eyes even turned from a bright blue, to a bright green. He did an aerial flip in mid-air and then dashed right towards the beast's face.
I hope this works.....
He hit the beast right in between the eyes, burrying his blade in deep and shot a a green shock wave right on it causing skin to crack and peel, and its face to bleed.
He then pulled out Voix de lat Terra and started plummeting downward drained.
He had released one of his strongest moves, Gaia's Anger, on the beast's face rather than on the actual earth like the ability was orginally used for. But it seemed to work just the same, the beast would most definately be feeling that.
As he fell some of the snake like appendages flew after him. Validor quickly spun in mid air and started fighting them through the air. One dove at him with itjaws wide open. Validor swiftly flipped over it and leapt off of it and slashed at another one before grabbing the cloth of his sword, spinning it and the sending the sword flying straight at another snake like creatures' head. He pulled his sword back and then flung his sword at the last one this time aiming for its actual body rather than its head. Theblade hit perfect ly, and instead of pulling it back he swung using it more like a grappling hook. He swing to the edge of the crater before pulling his sword back. He then fell down, tired, he would rest several moments before getting back to go fight again.

Well... this has got to be about the worst "Welcome Back!" present I've ever gotten in my life... Vale muttered to himself as he dropped out of a portal in the sky. He was definitely back in Gaia... there wasn't any argument about that. However, appearing several thousand feet in the air was never a welcome discovery after traversing planes.
For a moment, Vale just let himself fall, his head still spinning from the dimensional jump he just made. He was surprised at how peaceful he felt, just falling. It had been quite some time since he had done any flying major enough to feel quite like he did now, and couldn't realized why on earth he had given up such a unique experience. He was about to make a mental note about it, when a gigantic tentacle arm thing swung out of the air and knocked him out of his post-warp stupor. Vale had barely enough time to shout "Holy FU%@ing ALEXANDER!" as he flapped his wings wildly to get out of the way.
His head suddenly cleared, Vale's head was immediately filled with the sounds of a tremendous battle with this beast. He grabbed his head and flew further away, trying to get a good look at it. Whatever the hell it was, it was one of the largest aberrations he had ever seen, not to mention one of the strangest. He cursed loudly again and watched the battle go on for a moment longer, pondering on what to do.
Vale, however, had very little time to ponder, as the monstrosity took another swing at him. Why exactly such a beast was bothering with Vale was beyond him, since there were other, larger dangers closer to it than he. After dodging the blow, he gritted his teeth and drew his new sword, Edelryn. It gleamed red as it came out of it's scabbard, the demonic runes on it's side running up and down the blade. While he had no doubt that such a small weapon would do nothing against the fiend, it was more of a comfort thing than anything. Vale absolutely hated going into battle without some sort of weapon in his hands other than his magic.
A gigantic blast rocked the monstrosity before Vale could manage to get close enough to even have his own spells in range. A gigantic purple blast. For a second, the Lucavi thought he was going absolutely insane, but then remembered a particular Demon General he had once been acquainted with and grinned. So.. he's here too? Somehow that doesn't surprise me...
Various other attacks rocked the creature as Vale flew towards it: an explosion unlike anything he had ever seen before that had come off the back of an Aeon, a bunch of Flare spells from some sort of Behemoth or another by the looks of things, and an earthshattering shockwave that knocked Vale back midair. Whoever was fighting this thing aside from Belzera were certainly quite powerful. The sensible part of Vale's mind briefly considered ignoring the beast as there were much more capable people than himself fighting it, but he shook the thought out of his head and continued onward, chanting as he went.
"I who dwells in darkness, I who calls to the planet, I who dares to defy I call upon the swirling torrents of Mana To lend me your strength And burn my foes to nothing!"
At that, Vale's blade set itself ablaze in a brilliant (yet rather tiny) explosion. Yelling at the top of his lungs, he dove straight for one of the beast's eyes, narrowly dodging a few more swings from the monster. He plunged the flaming weapon into the fiend's eye, which was almost five times as large as Vale himself. He ran along the lenght of the eye, keeping his weapon inside if the thing as he did so. The huge streak that tore though it's eye began to seep a vile, reeking black liquid that reminded Vale an awful lot of tar. The monster thrashed (whether it be from Vale or another's attack) and Vale flew off the colosus' face, still clinging desperately to his sword. As he fell, he plunged the weapon into the thing, abruptly stopping his descent.
Regaining his composure, Vale flapped his wings fiercely and pulled the blazing weapon out and plunged his fist into the wound, instantly covering his arm in gore. Vale took a second to recall a generic heroic thing to say to atrocities like this and shouted it at the top of his lungs:
"Atrocious fiend! RETURN TO THE DARKNESS FROM WHENCE YOU CAME!"
The flesh aroud Vale's hand immediately became super-heated and cooked the monster from the inside out. While it was obviously a nonfatal attack (Vale briefly wondered if this thing COULD be killed), it no doubt caushed the monster immense amounts of pain. Vale himself regretted sticking his hands inside the monster as it's quickly cooking insides were burning his hand as well. He managed to rip it out of the thing before any major damage could be caused, but was still obviously suffering from burns. If it weren't for the fact that he was used to heats of various temperatures (for once he thanked the fact that he was a demon) Vale would probably have been plummeting out of the sky and screaming in agony. However, he simply gritted his teeth and flew back for a moment as he attempted to assess the best plan of attack in which to fight this thing.
He bolted towards the summon he had seen earlier, hoping that it's back wasn't occupied so he could take a moment to let his wings rest. Unfortunately, they weren't large enough to support his size for very long periods of time. He was beyond surprised when he saw a Lucavi like himself flying on the back of the summon. With his mouth agape, he flew next to the Aeon riding demon for a moment, attempting to comprehend why an Aeon would allow for a Lucavi to summon it (Vale briefly remembered reading a book somewhere about how the Aeon's had to decide for themselves to deem whether or not someone could summon them. He supposed that didn't necessarily mean Lucavi were out of the picture... but it was just beyond odd to see one chosen by one). Regaining some of his composition, he managed to sputter briefly at the raven-haired youth:
"Eh... Room for one more...?"

Minara flew between some of the remaining airships, he saw frightened faces on board, some of them were looking in his direction but didn't seem to accknowledge the fact that he was there. "This has got to end soon, there is only so much we can do..." Minara could feel the intesity of everything that had happened so far in this fight, it felt like a wave crashing on the face of a cliff overlooking the see. Minara flew onto the closest airship, no one even noticed that he had landed, they were all paying attention to what was happening elsewhere. Minara started to draw in small amounts of magical energy before taking off again. While he took off he heard some of the people on board the airship yell as they had seen the mass of attacks hit the creature.
Minara flew towards the creature, his wings were starting to ache because of all the flying he had done and the amount of times he had done fast sharp turns, he would have landed and rested for a bit but he flew with a purpose which took his mind off of the pain he was feeling. Minara was drawing ever closer to the creature, feeling fear well up inside him as he finally comprehended the vastness of its size and the amount of damage it was able to take.
Minara flew to the base of the creature, then, kicking off from the ground, rocketed upwards. To most he looked like a blur moving at such vast speed he was having trouble keeping it up. Minara swerved to avoid the creature slamming him into the ground again. He flew to where he thought its shoulder would be and stood on its shoulder. Minara could feel mass amounts of magical energies all around, mostly from the creature and the attacks that had been launched against it. Drawing in as much power as he could, his eyes screwed up tight in concentration, Minara started to compress the magical energies within himself, compressing it as much as he could, Minara then snapped open his eyes and yelled as loud as he could "Starlight Shock!" a shockwave of white magical energy escaped his body and he fell backwards.
The attack had weakened him more that he thought it would. Plummeting downwards, Minara spread his wings as wide as he could and caught the wind, gliding a short distance and breaking his fall before landing on he knees a short distance to one side of the creature. Minara felt almost completely spent up, not only had he used his strongest attack but he had also used up alot of energy healing people. "This is a fine mess I've gotten myself into..." He said this with a small grin and then stood on unsteady legs, walking away as quickly as he could, his wings tucked in to be as less of a hinderance as possible. ____________________________________________________

For a moment Sephiroth's eyes drifted and watched as the Beast rose water tides from nowhere and struck down upon the combined forces of Lindblum and Midgar. Indeed this monster was something to behold.
He had never faced a creature of this power and magnitude before. And was not embarassed upon admitting to himself that taking this creature down would require more than a little bit of his effort had he been on his own. The waves had apparantly claimed the ship that he had rode in on, his eyes watching as the flaming ruin of the airship crashed down towards the mountain side of the the northern crater. He was suddenly glad that he'd choosen to jump ship onto the monster when he had. The timing seemed almost perfect.
Others were continuing their attacks on this monster as he stood upon its flesh, watching. Each attack making contact. His eyes looked downwards, spotting they were aiming for a specific area on the monsters body that was glowing. But it hadn't before. Obviously this meant something. However he wasn't too sure as to what. But before he could move in for an attack of his own another had apparantly silenced the core and its pulsing light began to fade away.
Suddenly he was struck with something. His head began to hurt. His ow hand automatically moved to his fore head, clenching it in pain. He dropped to one knee. Apparantly the beast took notice of this and would use it to rid itself of a flea on its collar. Something he could see, beyond his own eyes. A figure standing in the dark. Something down below them....a closeness he'd never before felt. What was it?
Thats of course when he took notice of the beasts hand moving ever slowly down towards him.
He swiped upwards with the masamune, although it would appear as if he slashed once. Multiple wounds appeared around the beasts hand. Causing the Solomon's Key to flinch, moving backwards. He sighed looking back down at the crater. Something in there. Something calling to him. No. Not to him. To something within him. His soul?
But he was allowed no respite. For the moment his eyes were off the horrid beast, the thing attempted another attack upon him. This time he began running once more. Avoiding its strikes, and then dodging a spike running up its arm. The silver haired devil made a jump onto Solomon's Key's nose and then dived onto the other shoulder. This apparantly enraged the Beast even more. However that was the idea. He jumped. Twisting as he did so in the air. And then unleashing a slash. This slash would split into three seperate cuts. Forming blue waves of energy that would cut along the air colliding into the Key'd flesh. This thing was, if nothing else.
Durable.
He saw a summoning being called, so. A summoner of Yevon was on this trip as well? How interesting.
The wind howled in her ears as Relena looked onward toward the massive creature that lay before her. Her glowing sapphire eyes looked nowhere but at the beast they hadn't expected to find. Surely they would have mobilized more SOLDIERs against something like this, if they had known it would be here to greet them of course. They hadn't though, and now they were up against one very large, and very angry, monster. Was it luck that Lindblum's forces had shown up at the same time? Relena didn't know why they were here, perhaps to lay claim to the massive amounts of Mako energy, much like Shira. They seemed better prepared for a fight though... Was that for Shinra? Or did they perhaps expect to find the creature here?
Either way, it seemed they weren't fairing any better then Shinra were against the monster. That certainly said something about their combat skill. And that left what would happen afterward between the two fleets once the monster was defeated. Would they allow Shinra to have the 'Promised Land' or would they be... difficult about it? It would probably depend on the condition of both of the sides fleets. Also, it would depend on why Lindblum came here in the first place, and whether or not they care if Shinra gets the promised land. Not too mention that they still did need to take this monster down. That was obviously not going to be such an easy task to pull off. Relena let out a sigh. It was going to be a long day.
Her gorgeous long golden hair whipped about her face as she stood on the airship Cloudrider's deck. As did the dress of her personally designed uniform, that made her look like she belonged more in a house of nobles rather then on a warship for a manufacturing company. Beautiful dresses were what she liked to wear though, and she had trained for fighting in them. It was no hindrance to her in the slightest. Her slender arms were crossed over her chest and her face held an indifferent look. One she usually wore to avoid people from reading her thoughts on her face. Her mother had taught her to do this and she could maintain her stoic nature even in combat. This made it harder for the enemy to gauge her next move or her emotional state.
Like now for instance, one looking upon her would most likely wonder what she was thinking standing there, calm, as a panicked crew scrambled around her in their attempts to deal with the beast before them. The monster lifted one of its arms and brought it crashing down on the water, causing an aquatic wall of death to spray upward and take out some of the airships. Some that were right next to the Cloudrider in fact, the shock-wave of the blast knocked the ship to the side and the turbulence caused the ship to shake fiercely. Relena continued to stand there, in the center of the chaos of bodies flying around, seemingly calm. She held herself with perfect posture, unmoving, as the crew attempted to get control of the ship.
The turbulence calmed and the vessel straightened itself out. Finally, Relena moved, only slightly though, as her head turned to the left to take in the now empty air where there had once been quite a number of airships. That was not a small chunk of the fleet it had just knocked out in one swipe of it's hand. A good fifth of the airships Relena's quick brain told her. They couldn't take too many of those again. Relena glanced around on the deck behind her. There was a crew member laying there, scared. She lifted an eyebrow at him, then sighed as she shook her head. How did people like this even get jobs on an airship? Clearly, he couldn't take the heat.
She turned around and stepped over him on her way to the bridge. The clip clop of her boots could be heard, even over the howling of the wind and they were even louder sounding once she was inside. The panicking was still quite extreme in here, as everyone scrambled to share reports and compare notes. The bridge was in a chaotic hurricane as the people ran to and fro. Relena walked forward through the mess. Her pace was brisk, yet calm. Despite her unhurried speed, she managed to walk right through it all without having to break stride. People danced around her and she ignored them. Reaching the center, she looked at the elderly and fairly heavy set man that was there, receiving the summed reports from the executive officer. He looked up as Relena arrived and gave her a look that was probably questioning her calm nature. She didn't bother explaining, it would be a waste of time to try and tell him something Relena had spent her childhood practicing. Keeping calm in the face of danger and certain death.
"Report Captain." came the commanding, yet melodic sound of the voice that was as beautiful as it's owner. She looked at him evenly and her calm may have been one of the things that caused the worry in his voice. Like he was afraid she knew something he didn't. Or perhaps she was simply reading into it too much. She had just come to expect that a Captain would be more prepared to deal with these kinds of situations. The crew would be looking to him for confidence and this man that stood before her was not about to provide that needed confidence. To be perfectly honest, she didn't see this ship surviving the fight with out a lot of luck. The Captain was useless and the crew was frantic. What a shame, the ship was quite nice too. Unfortunately, the poor thing couldn't choose it's crew and it had one that was probably going to be it's downfall. How unfortunate.
"We're fine, but we lost some of the fleet. And a report stated that Sephiroth had engaged the enemy before his airship went down." The Captain seemed thrilled by that bit of news.
"Did he?" Relena asked sounding indifferent. Her tone seemed to agitate the Captain. He was probably a big fan of Sephiroth's and didn't like her sounding so casual about him joining the fight. Relena deduced that he was probably hoping Sephiroth would simply win this fight alone. Relena had no doubts that Sephiroth was powerful, even more so then she was. She had a lot of respect for the man, and it was deserved. She only respected those who deserved it, especially when it came to men. Despite this however, she didn't believe he was going to be handling this all by himself. This creature wasn't your everyday monster that you saw on the fields of the world. This was a creature of legend. This battle would probably be remember in history for centuries, each sides version being plagued by propaganda at who achieved the most and was the actual victor most likely. Relena didn't really care though. Either way, she wouldn't be remembered in it so what history said had nothing to do with her.
"Very well. I shall go and assist. Captain, do try to keep the ship in tact. Once the monster is down, we'll need every last one of them in case Lindblum gets any funny ideas." she told him. He looked further displeased by this comment, which sounded very much like an order in his head Relena imagined. Captains of ships got so particular when they were on their own ships. You couldn't even think to make a suggestion unless you were careful to pose it as such and not allow it to sound commanding. If it wasn't for the fact Relena could take this entire ship down by herself, he'd have probably said something. She was sure he had in his head at least. Maybe even did something behind her back. The Captain was gone from her mind however, and Relena left the bridge and headed back to the deck and the screaming winds.
The panic hadn't calmed as the crew members continued their scramble across the ships polished surface. They looked on as the forces of Shinra and Lindblum retaliated against the monster. Relena didn't pay much attention to their effort at the moment. She was sure they were giving their all, but didn't need to worry about their actions until she was in the fray herself. She reached the edge of the airship and looked over it, resting her left foot on the barrier. A good number of fighters were down there, attempting to damage the mammoth monster that was trying to kill them all. From here, she couldn't make out who anyone was, but again, that was irrelevant. She watched the creatures movements, attempting to work out some sort of strategic plan. Despite it's seemingly intelligent nature, it's attacks were random and reactive. Made them hard to dodge, but easy to combat. Didn't make this any easier though.
Relena pushed off with her left foot and propelled herself over the edge of the ship, and went head first toward the ground. Skydiving without a parachute. Always fun. Relena felt the air rush against her face. The cold stung it slightly, but it wasn't enough to even phase her well trained body in the slightest. She torpedoed downward, keeping her focus on the monsters movements. Every part of it was kept in mind as she hurtled closer and closer to her destination. She watched her timing and waiting for the right moment. She didn't want to miss judge this, she needed to feel it out. Let her instincts give her the green light, tell her when. She trusted in them and they served her well.
There. Relena flipped herself around and let her dress catch the air like a make-shift parachute, and slow her decent slightly. This happened just as one of the creatures 'tentacles', or whatever you might want to call it, flashed by underneath her. She dropped down to the side of it and pulled out Durandal. She flipped the blade around and dug it into the tough flesh of the beast. She used her momentum to gash through it and redirect herself toward the beast itself. She removed the blade when she had her course right and this time flew toward the monster's lower body. She landed on it and dug Durandal in once again, using it to make her way to the ground below the monster.
She landed in a duck and held out Durandal, noticing the gunk that was probably blood, but who knew for sure? Disgusting. Still wearing her stoic facial expression, Relena turned to look back up at the beast. The 'tentacle' she had used to slow her fall was hurtling toward her. Seemed she had grabbed it's attention at least. She didn't move, her face still calm, her hair blowing elegantly to the side as the wind attempted to carry it away. When the attack was close, she skipped far and quickly to the side allowing the 'tentacle' to collide with the ground. Relena leaped up onto the newly made path and began making her way back up again. She ran, vertically, along the extension of the beast as fast as she could move. Which was fast. The royal red and golden blonde blur of her hair and dress would be all she was at the moment to the eyes of any that happened to look. Her pace was broken however, as the 'tentacle' revived itself and began moving more hectically.
Her running became leaps as she continued her ascent up the giant appendage. It was difficult, but her training as both an Alexandrian soldier and as a Shinra SOLDIER allowed her to deal with difficult. She made it back to the body and jumped upward. She wasn't sure of the physical make-up of this creature. That meant she didn't know where any vital systems were. Hoping it could bleed to death seemed like a good plan. At least as good as any. She jumped up, facing the beast's skin and brought Durandal across in a slash, releasing it's energy at the monster. The light energy of the hyper slash cut through it leaving a gash in the creatures side. Hardly a devastating blow, but it was something. A little something extra to slow it down, though this thing was going to need to take a lot more before it fell. Relena made some plans in her mind to get up to the head. It was the only identifiable area on the body and was a vital attack spot. Supposedly. The glowing area in it's gut was also a possibility. Relena moved forward once again, making her way even further up the creatures lurid form.
Amalthea's long hair flicked out behind her in the howling wind as the airship she was on rocked violently. Amalthea was looking at the creature while supporting herself on a railing that went all the way around the captain's cabin, the Voidstar shook violently again and Amalthea had to tighten her grip on the rail to avoid being thrown off the ship. Even though she didn't like Midgar she respected them and thought that they could use her help, well, that and the fact that they had hired her to come along, why she didn't know but she never disobeyed a direct order from Headmaster Cid. The monster was massive and didn't know how they would manage to take it down even with the amount of airships and people on both sides.
Amalthea watched as a tentacle came down and smashed some of the airships over to her far right. Splinters showered everywhere and she saw the helpless faces of the crew as they fell to their almost certain deaths. Amalthea's attention was drawn back to the creature as the tentacle was raised again, she saw it sway for a monent then start to come down in a slightly diagnal swipe. "Hurry, to the left!" Amalthea yelled to the captain without thinking. The ship suddenly lurched to the left just as the tentacle wooshed past the right side of the ship. Amalthea's nerves would be shot if she stayed here like this, constantly watching the creature strike down these innocent people.
Amalthea's face turned to two members from SOLDIER which where on board and yelled at them "You two, get up here and keep an eye on those tentacles, make sure this ship stays in the air as long as possible you got that?" The two soldiers seemed to respect her authorative tone and replied with a quick "Yes ma'am!" Amalthea felt a little offended at being called ma'am but would yell at them later if they all lived and she could remember who they were. Amalthea jumpped off the top of the cabin and walked inside to the captain. The captain looked very rattled and was almost in tears at the thought of dying out here like this.
Amalthea gave him a small salute and then said "Captain, don't worry I believe you can do this, now try your hardest to keep this ship in the air ok?" The captain gave a smile at the sign of confidence in him and nodded. Amalthea ran back out of the cabin and grabbed her bag from the railing she had tied it too earlier. Amalthea placed on foot on the rail at the edge of the deck and took a deep breath. Before she knew what she was doing, she backflipped off the side of the ship and started to plummet towards the ground.
Amalthea's skirt caught air and managed to slow her down. She started to spin like a top and went down faster, Amalthea's skirt was stuck to her sides from the rapid spinning. She slowed her spin and let her skirt catch air again so as to slow her fall, landing with one leg bent, the other sticking out to the side slightly to slow her spin on landing even more. Amalthea felt a bit dizzy but other than that she was fine. It took her a moment to get her bearings, she faced the giant creature and thought Wow, its even bigger than I thought it was on the ship...
Amalthea took her bow from her back and ran as fast as she could to a closer location which she thought would be a decent place to shoot from, even though she thought that her arrows wouldn't do alot they still might help. Amalthea wandered around the shattered remains of an airship of Lindblum design and thought Well, this is probably the best I will get that is a decent distance away. Amalthea ducked inside the shattered ship and got to the highest point she could that she could shoot from. Amalthea was quick to load her arrow to her bow but hesitated in firing it just yet because someone had started to run up the creature. Amalthea took aim at a part of the creature that no one was attacking and fired her arrow, loading another one in quick succession and firing it at almost the exact same place. ____________________________________________________

Collateral Damage meter: 20%!
Solomon's Key Actions
Autoregeneration Activated. 1000 words of health restored.
Novadrive had been foiled, but the Beast was far from done just yet. It raised its monumental arms to the skies. Clouds began to gather above, and what appeared to be snow began to fall. But it wasn't snow. For one it was neither cold nor wet. In fact it was warm. And as it fell on your skin it would burn blue....but there was no pain. In fact...your magical powers felt incredible. Better than ever...
But for one member...Miumi...although he would feel more invigorated...his life force was being slowly drained by the beast.
[ Mana Fall: Magic of whole party invigorated. Miumi's next post count will be added to Solomon's Key's HP]
Okay due to some people not posting there total, and some people forgetting to inculde their regeneration rate, guilty of it as well. I decided I'll add this in. THe thread total is 24362/60000
Amalthea stared in wonder at the falling substance that looked alot like snow, she didn't understand where it came from, It wasn't cold enough to snow, and the snow wasn't cold to the touch. As soon as Amalthea touched the substance, she started feeling better for some reason, she couldn't explain why but she was filled with a rejuvinating feeling and she liked the feel of it. What is this stuff? It doesn't make sense, its snow but it seems to make me feel better when I touch it, and why isn't it cold? Unless it isn't snow but that creature is doing it to us, but why would it help us like this? All of a sudden, Amalthea saw a man she hadn't seen before, and wherever the snow like substance landed on him, it started to glow a blue colour. And what the hell is going on there? Amalthea was filled with a sudden feeling of wonder and dread, she thought that even though this stuff had a good effect on everyone it touch, it also had a bad effect on someone, although, how it chose who it would effect she didn't know.
Amalthea was filled with a sudden feeling that she couldn't place, it was like a mixture of alot of different emotions, all cramming together and forming a knot in her stomach and the back of her head. Amalthea closed her eyes and felt faint energies coming from the substance and a large amount of energy was produced when it touched the man who was glowing. This is like nothing I have come across before, even in my books, what the hell is this monster? Amalthea had read of magical attacks which drained energy from the target but she had never read of something like this, something that gave energy to the targets. "Something is seriously wrong with this stuff, what I'm not sure but I know it won't be a good thing to any of us, we have to stop this monster before it can do any more damage!" Amalthea pulled out her book of spirits and started frantically flipping through pages to see if there was anything in her book that would explain this ability.
Amalthea snapped her book closed finding nothing of use within it and decided just to play by ear and try to adjust to whatever this thing did. Amalthea could see many people running around the creature and climbing it, even pulling off amazing attacks against it but she wasn't sure what she could do without hurting them. Amalthea was considering using her Rain Of Falling Stars but she wouldn't dare incase she hurt someone who was close to it, what she dreaded most was hurting innocent people and allies. She only attacked people if she had no other choice, that was a very rare occurrence, or if she had been hired to do it by someone, which was more often than she liked, her beeing a long range attacker she was perfect for taking people out from a distance.
She was amazed at all the people who were attacking the creature and with the abilities they were attacking it with, but her eyes kept on drifting back to the man who was now covered in the glowing snow like substance, she had to do something soon otherwise more people could get hurt from this creature. She saw Asher attacking the creature and smiled, she was glad that there was at least someone she knew from SeeD was here fighting, maybe not on the same side because alot of SeeD had been hired to do escort missions for both sides, so long as she didn't have to fight him she thought that she could handle it.
Amalthea saw the creature waving an injured tentacle around wildly, even more so than the rest of them. "I can gather what did that..." Amalthea looked at Relena and gave a smile, then she spotted someone she would rather not see, Vale was there, she didn't like him, mainly because he was a demon and she was a shrine maiden, shrine maidens hated demons and spirits abd it was their job to send them to oblivion or help them move on if it was a wandering spirit, but also because of what he did, he seemed like a cold person who would only back down if someone stronger than him ordered him to. Amalthea was remembering the times she had met him, both times she hadn't really liked him much but she would have to put her feelings about him aside for now.
Amalthea started chanting the words to a spell, even though it probably wouldn't do much it could help.
"Oh waves that power the water of time, Come to me know as with the bell that will chime, Help me now to protect the weak, Come to me now with the power I seek!"
Amalthea said this in a voice that sounded rather hollow, as if she was speaking outside herself to something that couldn't be seen. Amalthea then grabbed the sash with the bell attached and swung it in the direction of the giant monster, as the bell chimed, a high pressured torrent of water lew out of the bell heading stright towards the giant monster. She then loaded her bow with an arrow and started charging the arrow with magical energy. The magic swirled into the arrow making it glow white, she aimed it almost directly up and yelled.
"Oh powers of stars hear my call, Come to my aide in this hour, Please help my enemy fall, Bless me now with your power!"
As she finished her chant, which wasn't needed to do her attack, Amalthea released the arrow, it flew up into the air with great speed and was a blinding white light. As the arrow reached the top of its arch, it exploaded and hundreds of lights streamed down looking like falling stars, all heading towards the creature. "Im sorry for anyone I hurt with this" ____________________________________________________

Minara stared at the falling substance. What is this stuff? It looks like snow but if doesn't feel cold, infact, it seems to make me feel warmer. Minara suddenly realised then with every flake of this mysterious substance, he felt better, his wings no longer ached, his legs felt stronger, strong enough that they would support his weight fully without support and he felt he would even be able to run if he wanted to. Minara spread his wings and flew past some of the remainging airships, his eyes didn't meet those of the people on board who were staring at him, his white wings almost seemed to shimmer a silver colour as the snow substance fell all around.
Minara turned in flight to look back at the creature and saw someone he wasn't sure if he knew or not, but the person, whenever the snow would touch them, would start to glow blue in the place that it had touched. Is that a bad reaction to this stuff or is something else happening to them? Minara didn't have time to ponder this further, he had to fly as fast as he could backwards to stop himself being smashed by a flailing tentacle. Minara was not well suited for battle but he had no choice, this thing whatever it was, was a giant threat and if it wasn't taken down now, he knew it would just move on to a new place and kill even more.
Minara's eyes drifted downward and he saw hundreds of dead people all over, there were people from both sides, all over the place, some of them in heaps from them falling out of a crashing airship. Minara's eyes watered with tears which stung his cheeks from the cold air at this height. He saw rivers and pools of blood all over the ground between all of the bodies. Minara could feel an anger well up inside him which he didn't even know he was capable of. "That's it! I'm going to make sure you pay for this!" Minara said before flying off to a slightly safer distance to calculate facts about the situation.
Minara's eyes drifted over people in their airships, all with faces that made his heart ache while he would think I'm sorry, if your ship goes down I wont be able to save you. Minara saw people all over the creature attacking with a wide variety of attacks that were having different amounts of effectiveness of the giant creature. Minara could see people who he had only read about, such a Sephiroth and Relena, even though the latter wasn't particularly well know, he had read her name in a book he had read on his travels.
Minara then saw a torrent of water fly at the huge creature and a bright light fly up high into the air before becoming hundreds of lights which, among the snow like substance, it was hard to figure out where the attack was except that the attack was moving faster than the snow was. Minara dove down close to the ground and sped along as fast as he could while being as close to the ground as he could. The smell of death filled his nose and his eyes watered again as he saw the blank faces all frozen in terror.
Minara's wing tips touched the ground whenever he turned to avoid an object. He flew through shattered remains of airships from both sides and saw even more people dead inside them and, he expected, there would be even more below the destroyed machines. Minara's heart twinged at all the people he would not be able to help because of the extent of their injuries, even when dead. It was rare when he couldn't help people when they were hurt and it seemed to hurt him inside.
Haruki flashed at his side as his hand went to his side, the blue steel against the white of his robes and wings made him look as though he ment to be peaceful but all that was going through his mind were thoughts of pain and hatred towards the creature for doing this much damage and hurting so many people. There was something in Minara's eyes that made anyone who saw them cringe. His eyes were filled with pure hate which he didn't even know he was possible of feeling, he always believed everything deserved a second chance, but not this thing.
Minara flapped his wings so fiercely that he even managed to move the bodies below him with just the force of the wind they made. "I wish I could make you feel all the pain these poor people felt but I can't, you only have one life and you took so many, for this, YOU WILL DIE!" Minara shouted these last words and flew straight towards the creature, he held Haruki in both hands infront of him as he flew higher and higher to the point he was level with where he thought its stomach would be. With all of his strength and speed, Minara plunged Haruki in as far as he could.
Minara flapped his wings and pulled Haruki out and then drove it straight back in again a small distance away. Even if these attacks wouldn't cause it much pain, he wanted to cause it as much pain as possible, constantly driving his blue bladed sword, which occassionally seemed to flash red, into the creature with all his might, he managed to drive his sword in to the hilt a total of six times before he had to retreat, ot had tried to swat him like a fly. ___________________________________________________

Travel to the land of the Ancient Ones, fight that which cannot be defeated and return with those who abuse the Life Stream.
Gerrick stowed the Agenda and shook his head. Whatever the hell the thing was, it certainly appeared to be "That what cannot be defeated", but Gerrick highly doubted that something could not be killed. If it moved and felt pain, it was alive and could therefore be killed. And this thing was obviously moving and obviously in a decent amount of agony, unless it was just roaring at how pitiful everyone's attacks were.
Taking his time in getting to the colossal monster, Gerrick watched the battle unfold from afar. Great fleets of airships were destroyed in waves, explosions unlike anything he had ever seen rocked the fiend and people from different countries and beliefs fought side by side to stop this thing. He scoffed at this last notion, chuckling lightly. As soon as the battle was over there was no doubt that the opposing countries would once again take up arms against each other. Either that or they'd attempt to start diplomatic relations, succeed for a very short period of time, allowing both nations to prosper before falling back into an even more agonizing war than before.
Gerrick absolutely loved human-kind and all the little quirks that came with them.
He stopped for a moment, continuing to watch the battle and listen to the seemingly endless cacophony of roars, explosions, screams and tearing metal. He reveled in it, enjoying every agonizing death-cry he heard. This is what he lived for: the chaos of every moment in war, whether it be against opposing nations (as Shinra and Lindbulm were) or against a gargantuan monster that threatened man's very existence.
Not wanting to wait any longer, Gerrick burst into a run, letting his long arms trail behind him. His eyes flashed golden, and he ran even faster, quickly reaching the base of the large monster. Without breaking his stride, Gerrick launched himself into the air, spun around to face the ground he had leapt off of and pulled out Sanguinis in the same fluid motion. "Blast Calibur: Release!" he shouted, causing an explosion to blast out of the business end of the gun, propelling himself farther into the air.
Whatever this thing was, it had apparently taken notice of Gerrick and the negative energy he put off. It swung a single, massive arm tentacle thing at the man, connecting with his puny body. Gerrick, however, was far from finished or even wounded at the moment. Grabbing onto the monster with his clawed hands, Gerrick pulled himself to his feet, running along the long appendage.
Drawing Sanguinis again as he rain, Gerrick fired the gun at the fiend's arm as he ran, causing splintering cracks to run up the beast's armored tentacle. While he was reloading, the monster let loose an immense spasm, which sent Gerrick flying off of it's arm. Without missing a beat, Gerrick shouted "RELEASE!" again, blasting himself into the monster's abdomen.
A fine white powder began to fall from the sky at this point, covering Gerrick (and presumably everyone else) in a thin layer of pure dust. He wasn't entirely sure what the stuff was, but it was warm to the touch and sent jolts of energy though him. Gerrick grinned before slamming his gun's barrel into the monster's side. He unloaded a ful clip of ammo into it before continually blasting his Release into it as well. After all that was left was a bloody crater where he had fired into it, he drew upon the one spell he had, laughing maniacally.
"Vampiric bond Drain my foe of it's life energies To feed my own dark desires! Return him to the dust From whence he was created from!"
A large red orb appeared above Gerrick's head, which sent several large tendrils into the gaping hole he had made. The tendrils throbbed as they fed off it's life energy and placed it into Gerrick. He continued laughing as he felt the beast's powers roll into him, adding it to his strength.
However, something didn't feel right... As soon as the spell faded, Gerrick should have felt better and stronger than ever. It took him a moment to realize what was wrong, and once he did, he scrambled immediately for the Elixir he kept in his pocket. His vision began to blur, his heart began to race and his limbs grew cold and bile rose in his throat. Shaking, he pulled off the stopper to the vial and emptied it's contents down his throat. Most of it splattered the area around him, missing his mouth entirely, but what little got in did it's job. He took a few steadying breaths before cursing at the top of his lungs and whipping the glass container at the side of the monster. What Gerrick had neglected to notice was the huge mouthed tentacle approaching him.
As the thing's over-sized maw opened up, Gerrick spun on his heel, which squelched into the monster's gigantic bleeding wound. He waited for the thing to get as close as possible before he leapt into it, grinning once again. The tentacle smashed into the monster's already wounded side, causing it a great deal of agony. From inside the mouthed tentacle, Gerrick reloaded Sanguinis once more and aimed at the roof of the thing's mouth as it tried to swallow him.
"Come on then! RELEASE!"
The ensuing explosion blasted a human sized hole through the monster's thick (although cracked from his previous attack's) carapace. Gerrick jumped through the hole and jumped off of the creature as it spasmed chaotically.
"Well..." he muttered as he fell. "This thing certainly lives up to it's name. 'That which cannot be killed...' Interesting indeed." Gerrick smirked and aimed himself for the monster's leg, readying Sanguinis should he need a little extra push to get there.
Right as Validor was about to rest up the monster acted again raising its arms high in the air as a white, warm, snow-like substance fell down from the clouds. Validor was instantly weary of this at first but all the suspicions were substituted for surprise as it fell on him and he was instantly energized with power. His eyes widened at this sudden ability it had. He felt full of vigor and energy, ready to start his assualt on the Solomon's Key again. However Validor could not help but feel there was a catch to all of this. something was quite amiss. While it was possible the beast used this ability to help itself, and possibly sprinkled some on the warriors by accident, but if it wasn't then why would the beast revitalize the warrior's energy? It just didn't make much sense. Validor, instantly weary of some after effect of this move waited for several moments. When nothing happened he shrugged and hefted his sword into a battle position.
He had noticed that there were a few new faces attack the beast and aiding with their powers. There was some mage lucavi stabbing it with ferocious power. There was also the young woman from SeeD shooting arrows and shoting a blazing arrow of light high into the sky only to have it split into a bunch of light aroows raining down from the sky like hazardous rain. Then there was the man with the gun who blasted a hole in the beast.
However try as they might the monster still seemed no closer to being defeated, and with the impeding feeling that time was growing short and they were going to be doomed still dwelled deep inside Validor. He cursed at himself at his lack of skills as he then began spinning Voix de la Terra around and around again to he could grapple his way back up to begin his barrage of attacks again. He released the sword as the blade was spinning at full speed. The blade flew through the air like a steak knife through butter towards the beast's abdomin and hit its mark, stabbing and gripping into the monster's insides. Validor swiftly swung over to it and grabbed onto its body formations. He sighed at the repetition of his attacks, another foul thing about not having enough abilities or experience with such battles. There was no variety in his attack, and therefore it would be easier for the snake like growthes to predict where he was and what he would do. A thought entered into Validor's head at that moment. Could those snake like things regenerate back with the same battle experience as their predecessor? If they did he was in trouble, because he had at least kill alot of them at least 3-4 times. That would make them harder to beat, but then again Validor liked a good challenge.
He swiftly started climbing up again, stabbing hard into the monster hoping to cause even a little damage to aid the fight against it. He did not know how much longer he had to go, all he knew was that this was an ardous challenege, almost too much for himself or the other warriors to bear. It was almost annoying. Why wouldn't this beast just die, and more importantly, why did exist and why was it in the Northern Crater of Cetra continent. He had heard about its exploits in Lindblum, hence Lindblum's presence, but he only figured that it was due to it being a major city of commerce and people. What did it have to gain here besides an overwhelming source of mako energy?
Validor kept slicing his way up the monster, fighting off the snake creatures and stabbing an probing the monster with Voix de la Terra every chance he could. He then took a small break again, to survey the people who were coming in to defeat the beast. One person he saw and recognized was the Genome Asher, who was leading the attack quite well, and the angel elf he had saw earlier. With the archer woman and Asher here, it was nice to see that SeeD, or Balamb Garden had a strong presence here and was willing to destroy the beast. He saw other SeeD's attack the beast from below firing spells and other various weapons and abilities. Things were finally starting to look up as the beast was slowly starting to weaken. If Validor could guess, they were nearly halfway there to defeating it. He gave him new hope and so he began his assension up towards the chest of the Solomon's key once again to continue his attack on the orb like structure which also acted as a weapon which was stopped promptly by the move the summoner Miumi had made. It was quite an incredible attack, but only made Validor feel even more inferior to the other warriors on the battlefield. He then shrugged it off due to Voix de la Terra's agitated humming. It often sent off this vibe when it was tired of Validor's thoughts of worthlessness. He knew he was at least doing some damage to the Solomon's Key. He had figured out it had weak points at its orb like core and its face. That at least had to account for something.
He finally made it up to the beast's core and did a back flip and a dash towards it stabbing his sword into it beforeyanking it out and and slashing hard three times right on the spot. He then leaped off again shooting off several aero spells towards it causing some minimal damage to it. But at least it was damage. He then landed on its arm and then continued the same strategy he had done twice already. He started leaping across formation to formation, and when arriving at the chest area giving a long dashing and deep gash against it's orb. He grinned at his new found energy, he felt no where near tired as he had before, and it brought him confidence as well. He was then confronted by three of the snake like appendages that grew on the side of the Solomon's Key. He quickly dashed right onto it's forehead and stabbed in deeply as blood oozed out. As the snake like creature swayed back and forth writhing in pain and falling, Validor leaped off of the its head and started spinning in the air rappidly slicing down on the second one's head, cutting it quite a few times. He then bashed the snake like creature on the head several times using the flat side of Voix de la Terra before doing a flip and wacking its head downwards towards the ground. As he spun around in the air he swiftly blocked off a bite from the third and final snake. He swiftly countered with 5 swift but very powerful slashes before launching a couple of aeros which all caused damage to its head. Validor then dashed int mid air, quickly landing on on of it's weird and other wordly body formations. He breathed heavily for a few minutes but then sighed and kept going slicing and stabbing constantly at the Solomon Key's body. He gritted his teeth, keeping up the attack untill he landed on its other arm.
He turned around just in time to see Asher's friend launch another large flare blast at the core which hit with a massive explosion. he was glad he was not there at the moment of the blast or else things woul've been catastrophic for himself. seeing the opportunity, he quickly spun Voix de la Terra again like a buzz saw, reverting back to another old tactic. He saw at the weak parts which could be seen to be made after the beast Asher had summoned fire several Flares at it. Validor arimed at these areas because he was sure it would cause more damage should he do so. He swiftly landed on the other arm again. he turned to Asher and waved, gaining his attention and giving him the thumbs up. They were working together, even though they were far apart, and it was a great feeling indeed. Though, Validor made a personal note not to get in the way of Asher's rather large friend.
