The cetra continent, the legend goes that from this icy wasteland the cetran people emerged. And died out. Although a few of their children remain they are a dwindling people. In these icy mountains came forth the monster known as Jenova. But in ancient times. Jenova was not the only monster to emerge from this place. No. Still lingering are the stories of the ice queen. She who lives at the base of mount Galieas. Who freezes all men who come into contact with her icy lips. But before the stories of even she. There was another monster. Much more sinister. Much more deadly. The tale is only known by those elders of the village.
They tell the tale of an evil man, who molested and murdered children. But one day an old sage came to the village. Who was told of the goings on. No man would dare face the evil one out of fear for their life. But the old saga held no fear. It is said that the old sage punished him by scattering his spirit to the snow and winds. And all was at peace. For a time. But something happened. Ten years later whilst building a snowman, a young child disappeared. Leaving behind only the snowman that he had built. Overtime the villagers began to feel strange things whilst passing the snowman. And days later. It disappeared. Ever since then children went missing.....they hunted down the cause. Only to find once more...the snowman. Eyes of stone. Gleaming back at them. With a promise of evil. And revenge. To this day. They sing a song of the hunt which finally ended the snowman.
Frosty the snowman, he's an evil nasty man With two black eyes, and a carrot nose He has a heart made out of stone.
Frosty the snowman, its true what they say Shrieking " Time to die!" Within his evil eye A promise to kill again
There must have been some magic in that old hatchet they found For when they lobbed off his head. His body fell to the ground.
Frosty the snowman, he'll be back again, they say So the children cry, screaming " I don't want to die" ...He'll be back again...one day.
And now within the christmas season. Children have once again began to go missing. The village have hired you all to bring down this snowman once and for all. And to end the villages eternal plight!

Why in all the hells did I come to this god forsaken frozen waste? I wanted adventure, to get out of my little plush lifestyle but never did I ever realize, in all my years, that there existed a place like Cocytus here. Not even my greatest imagination could muster this nothing, yet here I am. Freezing in this desert of ice and wind with little more than my thick coat to ward off the chill, these gloves on my hands, goggles on my eyes which I feel do nothing but hinder me – I’ll be snow blind by days end, and other thick clothes to fight the chill. I believe frostbite has already set in on my tail’s tip. Thank the heavens for fur; I don’t know how a human can survive this blistering weather with even the thickest of parkas.
My assistant, Kane, is remaining on the airship while I head into the waste in search of this ‘Snow Man’ everyone has been so ranting about. I figure his head in the estate’s meat locker will be a grand trophy to brag to the boys back at the social club and I wasn’t going to let them hold anything over my head by having an assistant follow with me. I’ll do this on my own, if I must, just me and the Eastern Star. No silly legend will withstand the incredible might of technology; this gun will prove it – as long as I can keep it from seizing up in the cold. Damn this cold.
-End August’s Travel Log-
After what feels like hours wandering aimlessly and practically blind from the snow and wind, August comes to crest line and amazingly the torrent of snow seems to be picking up, much to August’s bereavement and it’s through this haze of falling snow, he can just make out the silhouette of something ahead of him. It was impossible to tell what or who it was, so August does the sensible thing and raises the Eastern Star and calls to it. “Helloooo! Is anyone there!? Hellllooooo!” He calls at the top of his freezing lungs. “Hellllooo-“ *thawap* Through the veil of frosty wind, a round white projectile flies out and strikes August dead in the chest, throwing him to the ground. It ached, whatever threw it had power but it would take more than one snowball to keep him down. Deciding this was not a friendly thing, he springs to his feet, dropping into a crouched position with the rifle aiming down range at the black figure. He takes aim and fires; a ray beam bursts out, penetrating the cold wall and striking his attacker. It doesn’t last against the heat and energy of the Eastern Star. Smugly, he stands, lowering his rifle.
“Hah!” He boasts. “This is the fabled Frosty the Snowman!?” He exclaims as he runs, as best as one can in the snow, to where the creature’s shadow had fallen. All he finds there is a frozen mound of snow and ice. He kneels down to examine it, propping the rifle over his shoulder, something didn’t seem right about this, it was just too easy. He knew his weapon was powerful, but this was ridiculous. Then it dawns on him, he had fallen for an obvious trap. Bringing his rifle down into his frost bitten hands, he scans the horizon – much to his horror. Around him, more silhouettes emerge through the snow just as the storm suddenly begins to die down. He much rather preferred that storm remained as he now finds himself before a frozen army of snowmen, unbelievable and fantastic but as true as day. In all his years, he never imagined he see such a sight and he’d never believe it if not for having witnessed it himself first hand. “Bloody hells…
He drops into the snow, going prone to lower his silhouette against the minions of Frosty, using a small ridge of snow as makeshift cover. A barrage of snow balls takes flight, like a thousand arrows of cold orbs, that pepper down upon August’s position. They flew without purpose and found their mark only twice, once into August’s thigh and the other into his shoulder. It hurt, but the freezing cold has numbed most his body’s sensations. He returns fire with the Eastern Star, it was far more effective than some silly snowballs – he then learned the elementals also had ice magic as well. A frozen twisting torrent of chilly air surrounds August’s position and he doesn’t wait to see what will happen. Immediately he jumps to his feet and using the natural ability of Burmecian’s to jump he darts away from his make-shift cover just as sharp spikes of frozen water explode up from the ground he’d been resting against just a moment before. He lands a moment later, a few yards away from his last position. Hitting the snow with a stumble, his reflexes weren’t as good as they could be in this cold. He falls to his knees when he lands, but doesn’t take a moment to rest. Almost immediately, he brings his rifle up, blowing the snow off its brass surface and returns fire against the frosty minions.
It suddenly gets very dark over August, not noticing at first, but when he does it is already too late. He stops firing, curious as to why it’s only dark over him and nowhere else. It takes him a moment to realize the dire strait he has just found himself in. He lowers his weapon and looks up and behind him. “Clever devil…” There, Frosty the Snowman stands over him, the ugly thing of snow and blood, a winter embodiment of unadulterated evil. Its bladed stick arm, old hat, rotten carrot nose and a toothy crocodile grin across its face. August’s winces, knowing what is to come. It was too late; he didn’t have time to react. The Snowman swept its blade across August, striking him in the shoulder and threw his body a distance of seven yards as if he were nothing more than a snowball himself. August lands hard, the spilling of his blood quickly giving him a beautiful sensation of warmth before quickly turning to the sickly, wet cold of crimson. Though he was assuredly down for this moment, no walking snow-cone was going to get the best of him. As he laid there, seemingly motionless, he brewed a plan to combat this icy menace - he just had to wait for the right moment.

A s Miumi had found a small village during his travels, he hadn't even bothered to do up his hair to hide his wolven ears. As small children ran and hide behind their mothers, Miumi looked perplexed and just kept walking as Miumi did he just reached into his pocket pulling out a thin crimson ribbon which he used to bind his hair up. As he did he didn't notice that a single mother had come up towards him, she was brandishing a dagger hidden within her sleeve and when she attempted to stab Miumi, His response was quick he suddenly grabbed her arm mid length and squeezed her tendons making her grip tighten on the knife in a painful fashion. She whimpered slightly and slowly Miumi's hand slid down to her fingers when he released it just pushing the knife gently from between her fingers. He wondered why the other had tried to kill him and she rubbed her arms he stared her with eyes that many would say reflected the best in life but the worst in death. He just had a soft gaze many of the others were starring. As Miumi's ear was twitching occasionally anda soft swish of his tail could be faintly be seen Miumi wasn't within Spira he didn't have ot hide the fact that he had was a lucavi, here he might of been a spectacle but no a spawn of Sin they had seen and heard worse in their time. Before he could ask the question....
The woman broke down sobbing throwing herself on Miumi, he could feel her warmth and her cold tears splashing against the leather of his outfit, he couldn't help but slowing bring one of his hands up to her back just patting it almost sympathetically. She screamed something of a giant snow man and a few of the children were singing a song that made Miumi cringe. Soon the hysteria began to wear of the woman and she was slowly able to repeat what she had said as Miumi just didn't move. "Frosty the snowman stole my child... I want to know if they are still alive... please help me baby. My husband went out a while ago and hasn't return." As Miumi stood there for a moment before he slowly nodded his head he would help her. "The snowman was a wicked man, that once plagued our village until a sage came and scattered his spirit among the wind and snow, and now he has come for revenge." As slowly Miumi reaached into his bag pulling out a teddy bear it looked like Miumi was okay and he could fight but that teddy bear made her regret asking Miumi. But he began to walk towards the mountain as he did another couple approached him and spoke. " A young rat like man wearing fine clothing went up there not long ago... if you see him tell him we said thanks as well." He simply nodded and smiled before he turned to face the children and families.
"I will try to find your child and I will find that man...
W Though the look of fear crossed Miumi's face as they drew closer suddenly Miumi felt something burn within him, as he rose on unsteady legs and pushed off the ground sending hismelf among a thin army of the snowmen, they turned to rake at him with their claws of wood, As Miumi focused he would channel the energy of fire within his hand, until a hot glowing sphere was within it condensing it as he pulled his hands closed around it. Steam was wafting from his skin as the thin layer of magical energy between skin and fire was what kept it from burning as one of them lunged at Miumi, he slammed his fist into it's gut, Suddenly the snowman began to hiss as the snow melted and hissed, but the fire spell being condensed suddenly began to heat up much like a sun when it collasped except it resulted in an explosion. The bodies of snowman flew every which direction but they weren't dead yet or some of them were. He couldn't tell as they were simply snow. But then he saw a wicked ugly looking snowman walking towards their master. But this is when Miumi would know it was know or never. As he ran up towards the snowman of ice. Miumi clenched his fist tightly the small residue of heat was quickly fading. He knew he had to distract the snowman from getting anywhere near the rat. This was his favorite time of the day, when he could prove his worth and his power.
But that beast then would turn it's head slightly, it would notice that there was a child on it's path, as it's wicked black eyes began to twinkle with the slightest bit of interest as it looked over to it's wounded prey it didn't move not because just of that it saw that the child was coming closer. But then he began to notice the piles of half deformed bodies that were his men, this boy was dangerous which caused his stitched up mouth to be pulled into an almost painful looking smile. He watched as the pale milky white skin of the child contorted, the boy or girl had a really long black ponytail and those eyes made the snowman want to puke. They reflected the innocents of life within their icy hued eyes. They were radiating hatred towards that snow man, the attire that the boy wore was strange a taunt black shirt which stretched over his body and then a tight leather vest. The gloves on his hands were steaming slightly. While he watched as the boy moved he could see the edge of the leather tights which were snug against the lithe legs. It was like a tempting torture for the snowman. As the boy came closer he noticed that the boy was wearing a bangle or two on his legs which were made of solid gold... this boy wasn't from the village. He had to be more from a wealthy family. It was to bad that he'd have to eat the boy.
As Miumi grew closer, the expression of disgust began to slowly filter across Miumi's face, as he noticed that the snow man was wearing a large over sized black hat which had a thin nick in the front and was tilting down, the black hat had wiry looking black hair coming from the back which was almost enough to make Miumi gag. He noticed that the other's eye were reflecting malice and he seemed to have a hunger for people. As the creature's carrot nose was so ancient it had begun to sag under itself and the smallest bit of rot and decay could be seen when looking hard enough. A wicked looking smile which showed he felt no remorse for the things he had done, made Miumi sick of this man as he crackled his knuckles this boy was going to demolish this sickening creature. As a small tattered ring of color which probally had once been a scar hung down connecting to an almost decorative table cloth which hung down to it's mid stomach, while it had three wooden arms one holding a fishing rod which held a dead fish's body attached to it, while the other arm had a crimson ribbon draping ever so innocent from it. The final one had prongs which had a knife connected, As the claws curled wickedly. Miumi smiled as he came closer, he noticed the blood on it though and realized that he had injured that rat like man he had seen fly through the air.
As Miumi came closer he could see that there was a cloth covered child's arm and leg protruding from the demonic snowy flesh of the demonic snowman. The small boy's skin was bluish in tone and that just angered Miumi he had been to late to save the child while Miumi began to run he notice the skull like pattern of snow which had condensed on the other and darkening spot down on the other side which was a deep brown and slowly turning black it was dried blood within the snow man. As the beast took a swipe at Miumi, The small boy pushed off the ground for a brief moment he hovered within the air before he landed on the other-side being met with the gaze of the man and the demonic snowman. As Miumi slowly pulled his hands together and he seemed to be praying, except there wasn't the sound of the cackle of fire but slowly the hairs on Miumi's neck began to stand some of the hair in the ponytail arched outwards small little glittering shocks of electrical energy could be seen. The beast watched with a careful eye. But then Miumi's voice filled the air. It was cold and filled with malice towards this single being. Miumi wouldn't stop till this creature was dead that much was obvious. As the beast glared back at the soft spoke child. He would be met with a powerful sounding tone. As the child's voice was soft it held power within.
"I'm sorry but it is time for you to face your judgment for killing so many innocents." ."
A s those words left Miumi's lips the look of hatred was heard in the ending tones. As he pushed off the ground the snowman bracing himself for the bolt of lightning. But the sphere was still within Miumi's hand and it was glowing dangerous since the man had been made of water and would melt slowly within this domain. Miumi's sphere came close but the snowman summoned an orb of snow when the two collided. Both combatants would end up suffering damage. As snow and lightning clashed there was a brief moment of silence as they closed in among one another almost like a black hole except they exploded outwards, this caused shrapnel of ice to fly into the snowman breaking off small chunks and damaging that constant sickening smile, which slowly turned to frown. As he realized this kill would not be as easy as he had first expected. As Miumi's body was flung backwards the shards of ice didn't hit him as he hit the ground he slid against the ice lowering himself quickly. While some of his army were coming close. He focused sending his connect to his teddy bear. Suddenly a long chain was briefly visible as it flashed crimson. His teddy bear went into a attack mode as soon as it made contact with the ground, it's eyes went from black to blue, it grew bladed claws and it was pissed at whoever was near his master. The bear took off to the nearest snow man it was scary to watch but that bear was more violent then the boy.
The bear lunged one one of the snow man it's blades glistened as it unleashed a flurry of strikes which sever it's head which crumbled the body to the ground going after two more before it returned to Miumi in brief seconds it had managed to take down a few of the snowman's ranks. But as it returned to Miumi it stood there like a loyal guardian as his lord slowly rose upwards. As his lord rose he saw the snow balls flying at his lord. Jumping into their way he was hit as was his lord causing them both to let out a synchronized groan of pain. But the teddy bear had been injured Miumi could sense that as he brought the bear to his front clutching him as a few more balls hit him. They caused him to fall to the ground rather quickly but he wouldnt' go down as they came near his kill. The boy spun his leg dangerous kicking their lower section out then sending a rough kick to their head. As he was trying to breath correctly holding the teddy bear. As the beasts came closer once more this time Miumi didn't rise as expected.

Another had entered the fray, August could hear it. Though he remained as still as the dead, a clever ruse playing opossum against this frosty devil made of flesh, soul, and malice towards children. Though the bitter snow bit into August like a thousand daggers, driving deep into past his fur, skin and muscle, he just gritted his teeth all the same and bared it out. He isn’t the type to play dead in a hostile situation, but if this newcomer could distract the Snowman long enough, August believed he could get the drop on it and deliver a devastating blow. That’s all August saw of other people, a mere piece on a board, to be manipulated, be it passive or active, they were all the same to him.
That was it, the newcomer was struck down – he thinks. The Snowman has turned its back to August, now drawn to the one that just confronted him. This was his chance, now or never. Springing back to his feet in an explosion of snow, fighting back the dull pain from the wound across his shoulder and back, August brought the Eastern Star, which now trembled and shuddered, up to his shoulder. All the while he had been down; he kept his finger on the overcharge trigger, letting it build with more and more power till it seemed it would exploder under its own pressure. The weapon was hot, nearly red hot, the heat resonating from its metal surface caused steam to rise all around it and melt the snow that came close to its smoldering surface. August took aim at Frosty, a perfect shot straight into the devil’s back, and squeezed the trigger. A large ray explodes from the Eastern Star’s flared barrel, packing intense Heat that streaks across the white frozen waste into Frosty, leaving behind a wet slurry trail in its wake. Without regard for the children in the devil’s body, the heat ray strikes the overgrown snow cone – but August wouldn’t be able to gloat over his hit. The force of the shot blew August away and onto his back, the red hot barrel landing in the snow and quickly melted through it and if not for the rifle being gripped tightly in August’s hand, would of vanished beneath the snow. In a slight daze, August rolls over and clumsily gets on his knees, casting Cura on himself as he recovers from the blow.

((Couldn't let August remain on his belly the whole time, now could I.))
Chaos never really seemed to leave the land of Gaia, no matter what happened, or what time of year, chaos plagued the world. Not even Christmas time, the time of joy and peace, was immune, so as this little event seemed to show. Maybe some people targeted Christmas simply because they thought no one would interfere with whatever plans they had... well, planned. That would make some sort of sense, everyone was busy spending time with families and friends and even lovers. So naturally, one would think that Christmas was the safest time of the year for a villain to act, a moment of reprieve for the usually caped bastards. Unfortunately, they always made the mistake of forgetting about those who had no ties to any family, friends, or lovers. It was always this mistake that ended up costing them their lives and the heroes getting a nice little Christmas bonus for their efforts.
So Nightmare, not having any friends, family, or even a lover to call his own, was perfect for the job that they wanted done. The job was simple, kill the nefarious villain and the minion army he had raised and save Christmas for the village. Yeah, that he could do, storm the army, kill the leader, save the village, or the world, whichever he preferred. From there, he'd just take his money, perhaps enjoy the hospitality of the grateful village and be on his way. Not to mention they were a little more desperate to have that villain caught after what they found was going on. Apparently, children had been disappearing, one by one, and being devoured by the one behind everything. That was fine as well, when children were involved, people wanted the whole thing to be finished as quickly as possible, no matter the monetary price.
He only wished that it wasn't Frosty the fucking Snowman.
Seriously, Frosty was his Christmas hero, and despite the fact that he was the one devouring the children, Nightmare didn't want to do it. He had grown up on Frosty, even more than Santa, the reindeer, or any other Christmas icon of the time. So to say he was hesitant to attack Frosty himself, well, that was quite a bit of an understatement for him. Granted, he'd be more than happy to take down the army, but he didn't want to kill the magical snowman himself. So he made his decision, he wouldn't lay a hand on Frosty unless it really came down to it, but he'd lay waste to his entire army. Of course, that meant he'd pretty much do only one attack and that would be the end of his usefulness. So, hopefully the others wouldn't complain about his lack of will to destroy one of his childhood heroes.
So he stood, facing down the army and the snowman himself, and with a sigh, he went to work on the army. Of course, he wasn't stupid, and had made sure to stay out of sight of the minions of Frosty. With enough stealth, he wouldn't even need to confront the army directly to make his mark, and he could simply get to work. He was still against the idea of killing Frosty himself, and no one, not even Zero, would be able to convince him otherwise. It may have been stupid, but dammit, he had twelve lives, he could take a ton of punishment before having to wisen up. But he couldn't dawdle any longer, he had to get to work, or there wasn't any way he was going to get paid. And he'd not be allowed to stay the night, that was for sure, so he couldn't keep screwing around.
Outstretching his arms, he watched as the shadows of all the golems slowly came under his very control. Although he didn't know it, he had the shadow of a certain August Krasnow under his control as well. Which meant that he was going to be hit with the attack as well if he didn't even bother to get out of there. It wasn't so much as Nightmare wanted to kill the Burmecian, so much as he didn't even know he was there. He was just a bit wrapped up in trying to make everyone's lives easier, so he really couldn't be blamed. If he killed another Mercenary in the process though, so be it, he could live with that, plus more for everyone else. So not only would everyone not care, they might actually agree with him for killing the little rat guy.
And the command was given, five swords, made of shadows, came from each of the golems' shadows, ready to destroy them. The blades impaled the necks & waists of the golems, severing them from their standings, weakening the assault. One by one, each minion fell to the sharpness of the blades, one by one, Frosty's army diminished to none. Each golem felled by their own shadow, and just like that, the job had become easier for everyone else. To him, his role was done, and everyone could just move on, he still refused to attack Frosty as well. As for August, well, he still didn't know the Burmecian was there, so he really didn't know if the guy was dead or not. If not, less money, if so, then yay, more money, either way Nightmare was still pretty oblivious to that little fact.
He wasn't however, going to leave himself open, and thus, he summoned the Armor of Malevolence for his protection. The dark armor replaced his normal clothing, obviously shown to be a rather form fitting suit of armor. That was nice, that meant he was well insulated, and really didn't have to worry about the cold. Quietly, he moved over to behind a smaller boulder, sitting down so just his head could be visible. Though of course, being the arrogant prick that he was, he couldn't just let anyone else take the glory for the army's destruction. "Alright folks, I've destroyed the golems, now, I'm not going to attack Frosty, as I grew up on him, so he's all yours." Oi, this was going to end badly, what he didn't realize is that if August did survive, Nightmare would probably be attacked.
*Draco was out and about again. Different country, new cities. The thing he looked forward to the most though, was new prey to hunt. Draco found himself in the cold and snow. He had already changed much of his gear to blend in the surrounding area. He had been living quietly for weeks now, hunting small game trying to find the bigger ones. He was getting bored very quickly, to bad there weren't to many big cities that needed a blade for hiring, cause Draco probably would've visited one of those by now. He was getting used to cities not, and interacting with people and not unleashing his demon form and killing them, but as he thought about it he enjoyed the relaxing quietness of nature. He felt some mysterious power emanating from it. *
*So he was enjoying soaking up the sun, next to a river in the woods. All was quiet with few birds and small animals roaming about. Then Draco heard it. A huge ways off, but it was there. A couple hundred pounds pawing through the snow. Times like these he loved being a demon. Since he was all alone Draco decided going half form. His skin turned a light shade of grey, his eyes changed color, his ears pointed, small horns popped from the top of his head. His hands and feet grew claws, as his teeth sharpened and grew to fangs* {We've been apart too long} ~It's always refreshing~ {Why don't we do join more often?} ~Because your reckless, and I don't like the changing process, you should know the pain it brings us.~*Draco said this with spite. Whenever he melded with Daimon, a part of his mind which held the demon, Daimon would rush in so forcefully he would cause Draco physical pain, even when Daimon didn't need to be forceful he would do it, like he wanted to cause them both pain* {We'll try and work on that} ~You do that~
*Draco was soon whipping through the forest. He had stripped off most of his equipment in the cave he was staying in, so he had no boots, gloves, or shirt on. Just his prized predator blades, mounted on his fore arm, and some pants, cause even Draco has some decency*
*He was fastly approaching the one he hunted. He was tracking it. He could hear the heavy breathing coming from it. He could smell the moist smell of fur as the wind blew towards him, carrying the scent, taunting Draco as he ran. But the latest thing he sensed put him into overdrive, the blood. He could sense it flowing through the creatures veins. Hot, flowing, the heart pumping faster as the creature ran faster, was like a signal calling Draco telling him to go faster. This is where something strange happened. Daimon freaked out. Draco's half demon form stopped against his will and as suddenly as it stopped, it moved up a tree and started scoping out the area. Something was wrong and if it worried Daimon, then it was truly something to fear, or at least not be caught off guard by* ~What's wrong?~ {Something, a presence, similar to ours. An demon who has been asleep to long and is restless. We need to find it and kill it if we are to continue traveling here. } ~ Fine by me lead the way~
*Draco found a clearing with a tall snowman, only this thing had a demonic twist to it. Draco wasn't in the least bit scared by the silly looking thing, more intrigued, and anxious to fight it he slowly approached though, not wanting to startle the other warriors, causing them to turn their blades onto him* --------------------------- WC:630 EXP:63 Total EXP:234 Total WC:630
*Draco circles around to the back of the creature, as to avoid the warriors till they could see he was attacking the snowman also. Draco took a running start and jumped, clearing the first ball of snow and landing on the second. He did a smaller jump to the back of the base of the top snowball. He thought to his own powers. His only real magical ability was in this form, which was draining all hope and joy out of his opponents, which led to freezing them to death. Draco figured that would not be very helpful in the current situation so he looked at his blade. He extends it to it's maximum length* ~Not going to be doing a whole lot of damage with this, am I. Then again every little bit helps~
*Draco begins to try and start impaling Frosty's head when he notices a clump of miss color on the ground. It was sentient, and alive. Draco could sense the blood from there. He focused in on the creature seeing a small person. Draco noticed how all the other warriors were to busy fighting to help this one. Draco decided to first help the boy, then continue to be a thorn in Frosty's side. He impales his predator blades into Frosty's "neck" and while at it he stuck his right claw as deep as he could into the monster. He began running, and angled his body, as he spiraled down the creature's torso. He also noticed due to this angle his feet claws were digging into the creature as well, leaving four streaked lines twisted around Frosty's body.*
*Draco landed on the ground and took off sprinting, as he knew the snowman would not be happy with him. As soon as Draco was clear of the monster, he quickly sprinted forward picking the small person up form the ground, and running back to a safe distance. He studied the boy as he cradled the boy in his arms. The boy had long black hair. She was hanging from Belzera's arms as he flew through the air to the cetran continent, they had both heard of reports of Gaian heroes flocking to the continent for some reason, Biggs and Wedge reported rumours of a fearsome monster appearing on the continent for some strange reason. Both of them had decided it was best to check this out and scout out some of the stronger gaians, maybe eliminating any of the weaker ones now to prevent them from becoming a bigger problem in the future, “after all” she had said “we have plans and goals to achieve and now that you've killed and fended off a large force from Shin-Ra others will take notice of us and aim for us”. Belzera had nodded at that time and obviously thought it would at least help them both get even stronger, since the battle the Demon had become... well he had more of a presence about him than when they first met, he was truly a demon lord. She grins and looks up at him again.
“So Belzera, you really are a demon lord then, guess you where telling the truth”
She teases him, chuckling softly at him before she returns her eyes to the ground scanning it for signs of battle, they had hit the coast hours ago and they had yet to see anything at all yet only a few minutes later Belzera spoke up as he spotted signs of battle.... telling her the direction it was in they started to fly towards it quickly. She squinted her eyes tightly to look at the battlefield.
“Is that snowman they're fighting?”
She shouted out loudly in sheer surprise, a moment later however she found herself hurtling towards the battlefield, Belzera had thrown her.... he'd fucking thrown me she thought only seconds before she crashes into one of the ice elementals causing it to shatter into tiny pieces. Blue pulls herself up and opens up her brief caseand smiles pulling out a full sized replica of herself. She stands it up and then grins as it starts to move like her, the briefcase vanishes leaving the two Blues standing in the remains of the elemental.
“I can't believe gaia has killer snowmen on top of everything else”
She brushes a hand through her hair taking in the people around her it was choas, she could see a burmecian and several others, including a man she faintly recognised from somewhere, the doll mimics her motion. Blue then smiles and rushes towards several of the snowmen, the doll following her movements towards the snowmen, both leap and hit a pair of the elementals in the face knocking them down to the ground where they shatter from the force for the kicks. Blue licks her lips and sees a Demon carrying a small boy. Without puasing she and the doll rush towards the demon and the boy, hearing the demons words she decides not to attack as she slides to a stop infront of the pair, looking down at the boy.
“Answer me now, or else you won't like me”
She glared at the pair as she and the Doll stood side by side, both in a ready tand prepared to strike at the duo if they refused to answer her or attempted to attack.
“What is everyone doing here?”
She hadn't noticed Frosty at all yet, which might have been a very big mistake on her part as the monsterous creature and his minions had noticed her all and where readying to attack.
*Draco stood there with a blank confused look on his face* ~Who...what.....is she serious....~
*He finally snaps out of it. He was about to make a snarky comment, but then he thinks of the consequences and she may be stronger than him, especially if there were two of her. So Draco straightens his face and decides to play nice till he can figure out what the hell is going on here*
"Um... well I just got here, noticed the demon snowman, and saw this boy lying close to it, so I decided to save the boy check and make sure he is ok, wait until he is conscious, and then take down that." *Draco pointed to the giant snowman* "So are we good or do you want to try and kill me or something?" ---------------------------------- WC:137 EXP:13.7 Total EXP:283.6 Total WC: 1206

“From the midst of the radiant light, the intrinsic sound of Truth will resound like the rumble of a thousand thunderclaps. Do not fear it! Do not try to flee!”
That is what’s written in the Book of the Dead, describing that moment between life and death. That undiscovered country from which no man returns and if this battle continues going the way it has been, August might very well find himself transversing through the dark fields of Erebus. With the wound across his shoulder and back, that ached and if not for the blistering cold, would be throbbing with pain. Perhaps the contracting of blood vessels in the top layers of the muscle were keeping him from passing out from the blood loss, and good thing. Though he cast Cura upon himself, bathing him in a cascade of healing warmth and light, it wouldn’t do much in the way of replacing the blood he already lost laying in the snow playing dead. Exsanguinating in the middle of a frozen tundra was not his ideal way out of life – specially by the hands of this chilly abomination that gobbles up children like tiny candies. Where was the dignity in a death such as that?
Slowly the ratty stands, aching just ever so slightly from the gash, though the pain wanes it still lingers just enough to make movement just that much more arduous. He drugs up the Eastern Star from the snow, it’s once scalding hot frame now cooled to a pleasant warm. He brushes the rifle off, taking note of any fractures or malformations in the brass work. This was the first time he’s overcharged it since building it, the entire thing was pure luck it didn’t explode in his hands. They say the best way to test something is to field test it in conditions simulating extreme stresses upon the device, well August could now say that he has indeed done that – minus the fact it’s wasn’t a simulation. Standing on his feet now, the snow clear and the day giving way to bright sun – a drastic change from just a short while ago when he had to transverse through a torrential blizzard. Least something was looking up for August, even if he was staring down the gnarled droopy carrot nose of some malicious devil.
With his rifle in hand, August turns to face Frosty, bringing the rifle up to his shoulder to take aim. The beast was occupied by the others that have shown up to steal August’s kill, suppose word had filtered out to the rest of the riff-raff of Gaia. No matter, he will still claim the head for himself one way or another, not going to go home empty handed after he’s come this far, what would the boys at the club say. Bragging about their hunts in the local region, they’ll be tongue tied when he shows them this glorious kill of soul and snow, but first, he needs to deal with those damnable minions of this otherworldly snow man. So he turns to strike down the minions, finding several already attempting to descend upon him. He raises his rifle and fires, one down but when he changes target and before he can squeeze the trigger, something strikes it down. Some sort of disembodied shadow entity, more like a sword made of shadow from the creatures own. It appeared to emerge from the darkness to the creatures left and strike it down. Perplexed, he changes targets… the same thing as before. August could not figure out what was happening here; was it the work of one of the new arrivals? It then dawned on him that he was stuck in the middle of fray. Quickly, he looks down to the shadow beneath his feet. It moved with purpose and not risking what may emerge, August fires at his shadow. The flash of light from the ray dispersed it, erasing it from existence for a brief moment. Hopefully that is all it would take – peculiar magic as it seemed. Whatever it was, it seemed to have dispatched the minions with ease, best not look a gift horse in the mouth, perhaps he’ll get out of this thing alive after all.
By now, several others have joined in the fray. A young boy… or girl, it was hard to tell, laid in the snow unconscious. Beside her… him… it was a little bear that spoke and attacked with bladed malice. He would normally find this interesting but all he saw was a foolish kid and his toy trying to play with the big boys. It was fate now if he should remain in the snow for the rest of time; there were more pressing concerns at the moment. Soon another showed and went to the boy, a familiar face from Treno. Hmm, this could get awkward. Thankfully, in this cold weather get-up he wasn’t easily identifiable, say for the unique rifle in his hands – perhaps in the confusion he wouldn’t notice him. Several others run onto the field of battle, though they appear oblivious to the Snowman, however that was possible. It was bounding upon them, and how much it annoyed him, it was up to him to get the beast off them.
With new found vigor, August runs to them with the rifle raised. He does several quick shots over the heads of the four in the snow, aiming for the Snowman, not really trying to hit it but distract it from descending upon the others. Once upon Blue, Draco, Miumi and whoever was there, August didn’t have time to count.
“Going to stand around?” He scolds, raising his rifle to Frosty for another shot. “Either fight or get out of the way!” A ray-beam shoots out from the rifle, sending a warm wave of heat upon the others, like subtle warmth emitted from a burst of fire. He stepped over Miumi as he continued to approach the fiend, firing another few ray bursts at the thing. With each successful it, the Snowman melts just ever so slightly. Of course, it wasn’t going to sit around and take this abuse.
Frosty raised its stick arm to August, summoning a swirl of chilly wind around August’s hands that explode with icy magic, encasing The Eastern Star in a prison of ice. August curses as he tries the trigger, no response. Without another option, August charges with the butt of the rifle in order to beat the demon’s smart grin in, yet the brash bravado just gets August a burst of Blizzarja to the chest, throwing him many yards back with its icy punch. He’s stunned for a moment, till life springs back to him with a bloody cough. It hurt, but it was tolerable. He gets back to his feet, catching his breath while struggling to get the ice off his rifle. Though the device was still quite hot, the ice encasing it was only melting at a painfully slow rate. He smacked and banged against the hard blue shell, trying to get it off the delicate workings of the weapon. Hopefully the others will be able to deal with the demon in the meantime.

They say, "Evil prevails when good men fail to act." What they ought to say is, "Evil prevails."
He carried Blue in his arms as he flew through the air over the cetran continent, they had both heard of reports of Gaian heroes flocking to the continent for some reason, Biggs and Wedge reported rumours of a fearsome monster appearing on the continent for some strange reason. Both of them had decided it was best to check this out and scout out some of the stronger gaians, maybe eliminating any of the weaker ones now to prevent them from becoming a bigger problem in the future, he knew from past experiences on the old gaia that trouble was always brewing and now that he was a major player in gaia's countries he was not going to ignore any strange happenings involving the heroes of gaia. Now he could see
“I'm not going to lie about who I am Blue”
He responds to her as he continues to scout out the scenery beneath them, he noticed a village a few minutes back so he figured that it was the reason heroes where gathering here and only a few minutes later did he have his thoughts confirmed as he saw a small group of people engaged with snowmen.
“To the left Blue, thats where they are!”
He shouts out telling her the direction the fight was in as he noticed that there was a large ice spell coming towards them, shit he thought as he throws her down towards the battle field before he takes the blizzard spell head on, screaming out as Blue landed safely before he falls out of the sky and crashes himself. It takes him a moment to pull himself up to his feet, shaking off aload of snow that covered him.
“I hate the sno-”
He started, stopping as he noticed the large number of snowmen taking aim at him, sending a large barrage of snowballs towards him, biting his lip he brings up his hands and unleashes a flare spell directly infront of himself, the non-elemental spell destroying the snowballs instantly allowing the demon to take to the air quickly again before the snowmen could unleash another barrage of snowballs at him.
“I'm no fucking easy target”
The demon shouted at them as he spreads out his arms and grins as a large number of Adonis's appear behind him. Belzera then points one arm towards the snowmen that had attacked him and grins widely.
“Barrage”
He says softly as the adonis's burst towards the snowmen, smashing straight through them in a matter of seconds, reducing them to nothing more than shards of ice. He then returns to scouting the skies for the reason.
“They must be here to stop whatever is behind these snowmen”
He concludes as he spots a mercenary he had seen in the first battle against Midgar, his eyes widen as he spots a rather monsterous creature approaching Blue.
“shit is that Frosty snowman?? Why the hell is there one of those on Gaia?”
The demon shouts as he dives towards the twisted snowman, tackling the twisted thing with all of his body weight, knocking him back slightly and gaining his attention before quickly darting back up into the air as Frost lets off a Blizzaga spell at the demons heels, catching the demon painfully. This was the reason the heroes where here... He then quickly archs around and returns to Blue, dropping down next to her quickly, his eyes dart to the two infront of him and then he returns his attention to Blue.
“Looks like they are here to defeat Frosty the snowman... Frankly those are words I never imagined I'd say”
He sighs and looks at the two demons infront of him, his eyes looking straight through them.
“And who are these two Demons? And why aren't you using Ruination?”
A s the other lay among the snow calmly, he looked almost peaceful as one of them attempted to rouse Miumi when they moved him, his hair moved as well revealing the black wolven ears that boy was a lucavi as well and by the looks of the damage that boy alone had done to frosty he was a rather powerful one. As within his slumber he was reliving the very memory that brought him back within the world. He had been in a world of darkness where claws and talons were everywhere, gut and gore splattered against the walls. Miumi was was within a dark castle. He was running around with another figure it was a small teddy bear. Which was adorable yet was twisted with the darkness of the world. But as they ran down a corridor there was a small circle of blood drawn along the wall. A curious hand managed to brush against it. Suddenly light swarmed around the two and it created an internal bond. As Miumi found the world was beautiful when the swirling of colors stopped yet Miumi was laying so still much like he was now in a circle, where bones and blood of fiends was clearly visible. As a burning feeling was on his back as invisible hands branded his skin as his body slowly rose. As did his body within the real world. His teddy bear was controlling him briefly as they moved in sync. The bear watched in horror as many of the others were being stricken down many the rat who had tried to save Miumi.
Slowly Miumi took his first step. Slowly those eyes opened but they were distant. Miumi couldn't see the real world yet. He saw the land he was brought to. The land of the dead and the end of the summoner's pilgrimage. A man stood before him. He was wearing a rather tattered suit and was bleeding heavily. He looked at Miumi with a pleading hope but then the fiends came and devoured him. As the teddy bear's voice rang within his mind. "RUN... MASTER." but then in reality he heard it was ringing. "AWAKEN MI'LORD" as slowly the mask of fatigue began to slowly slide down from Miumi. The icy tundra was back and then he saw the world around him replay in slow motion the man's gun shots and the very thing enranged him as he stood near that very snow. Suddenly Miumi' body crackled, bolts of lightning were running through his hair glowing and causing his hands hair to stand on end actually it looked creepy as large bolts could be seen tracing along his earrings connecting to his teddy bear's blades. Suddenly Miumi's voice pierced the air it was strong an dangerous almost psychotic sounding as Miumi took a fighting stance this would be the next step towards it's demise. As the smell of blood was also revealed to Miumi's scent that movement that Miumi made was very much dangerous as he began to run.
"Hey Frosty want a real battle come on."
W hen those words leaft Miumi's mouth the beast turned around but it was to late to really realize what was going on. A loud almost banshee like screech filled the canon. As Miumi's energy crackled a glowing purple orb filled in Miumi's hands and there were a bolt of blue flowing among the orb this was the same move he had used before he was going to make sure this went down with violence. As the beast attempted to mutter the words for a spell. Suddenly Miumi pushed off the ground. His body was weightless and his hands closed around the blade of the creature, the sharp blade digging into his skin while the orb connected with that metal it began to conduct and Miumi slammed his hand into the beast chest. As Miumi clutched the blade tightly they could see the lightning flowing from the blade through Miumi and into the icy man. Howls of the artic's beasts pain filled the air. Miumi was lethal as suddenly the force between the two began to increase. Sparks showering the ground below them until suddenly the beast managed to cast a spell. It was a blizzard and it interrupted Miumi's connected to the blade causing an explosion. Miumi's body was tossed backwards but he landed on another minion his body heat melted it's body as he landed he lost feeling and movement within his one arm but he stood there his breathing heavy but a look within his eyes showed malice.
" Whats the matter frosty.... is this little child to much for you to molest..."
A s those words left Miumi's lips the look of hatred was heard in the ending tones as the teddy bear came closer it seemed to almost connect to Miumi delivering flurries of blows to the snowmen who came to close not killing them but distractign them with missing limbs.
Blue blinks as the child awakens shortly after Belzera lands, pointing the the child who the Belzera called a demon she shrugs.
"No idea what their names are Belzera, however they are all here to fight Frosty as you say."
She then luaghs once turning her head back to look at the other person who had pulled the child away.
"who would have thought Frosty the snow man would exist on Gaia too, at least this one is fun"
She grins and shuts down her doll before she breathes in deeply, closing her eyes and then she starts to speak slowly as a cold blue fog like mist starts to creep out from her, the mist was her very life that she was spreading out across the battlefield, however unlike at in the battle against midgar it wasn't creeping out slowly it was rushing out like a raging river.
"In the earth it lies" "Unbidden, unrefined” "Freeflowing" “In the air it flies” "Ushered by the winds"
The mist now at the far reaches of the battle itself, even touching the village itself, starts to rise up into the air covering everything in the area and high into the sky
"Controlled by the flow" “In the water it lives” "All healing, All giving" “In the Fire...” “In the fire it burns, fuel of destruction” "Ruination!"
She roars the last word as she claps her hands together tightly as she feels her body burn as she forces out the ruination quickly. It starts off with the air getting heavy for a moment and the spells flying through the air around the battlefield just die out like fires without oxygen. Then the mist that is around her bursts into a roaring white flame that quickly spreads out from her burning away all of the mist, destroying the mana in the air, in the earth and most of all in the people. the wall of white flames tears through the air in a terrifying speed, only getting faster and faster as the flames found more and more mana. Everyone would find their magics failing as they flew into the on coming flames which devoured and destroyed the magics and their fuel, the lifeforce/mana itself. It wouldn't take long for all of the mist to have burned away, taking away all of the magic/mana/lifeforce/mako in the area. Once that was done the air became colder, unnaturally cold even for the winter as the land itself was devoid of mana. Blue then grins and cracks her neck as she see's Frosty attempt to unleash a Blizzaga at a lucky target, Frosty seemed to get more and more irrate as nothing happened, Blue however bends her knee's slightly as she luanches herself towards the snowman. She sped across the snow gracefully before she brings her knee upto Frostys' head, flipping in the air she kicks him up into the air and as she lands she holds out a hand, aimed at the twisted snowman. With a dark smile and a cloud of purple mist, half a dozen of Belzera's Adonises, A purple and twisted looking keylike sword, appear in the air behind her all pointing up at the twisted snowman. Licking her lips she breathes in deeply
"Demonic Barrage"
She says firmly as the half a dozen blades fire themselves towards the snowman, a loud
[glow=red,4,300]BOOM[/glow]
erupting at the blades themselves break the sound barrier and smash into the snowman knocking him higher into the air. Then she turns around and cracks her fingers and points to Belzera.
"Show it hell Belzera Adonis Grimoire, show it was a true monster is like"
She chuckles as she sees the demon nod at her and spread out his large wings.

"As you wish Sorceress"
He says with a smirk as he fixes his gaze upon the target. His wings stretch out and he cracks his neck once before he fires himself high into the air speeding straight at the twisted snowman. The demon spins in the air and does a roundhouse kick into its side from above the flying snowman, sending him hurtling back down to the ground, however the demon continued to chase him after throwing Adonis straight at the snowman, however it is knocked aside from a barrage of snowballs from the elementals, clicking his teeth the demon closes in and grabs Frosty, who is slashing and swiping at the demon manically as he further speeds them up aiming straight at the ground. Belzera using his wings to carrying aim them at a larger group of the elementals, the demon smiled and kisses Frosty's forehead before he releases him and pulls himself up from the nosedive and does a loop righting himself and hovering in the air above the battlefield as he spreads out his arms and summons a dozen Adonis's behind him, while he watches Frosty crash into his minions hard, cuasing them all to shatter from the force, however the demon wasn't finished and with a wave of his arms he fires forth a Demon Barrage. The sonic boom forces the demon back slightly as the twelve blades break the sound barrier and then smash the unlucky Frosty back into the earth as the Adonis's impact around him, several infact piercing his body before they vanish in whisps of purple mist. Belzera them smiles and holds out his palms towards Frosty as two pencil point orbs of purple energy form quickly.
"Hecto Flare"
The demon grins as the pair fire off at Frosty piercing him further before exploding, Frosty however quickly recovers himself and glares up at the demon, who chuckles back at him from his position in the air.
"You know, your not much of a snowman you know that, your more of a slush puppy"
He says tuanting the twisted snowman before summoning Adonis back into his hand and moving away from Frosty and dropping down next to Blue, chuckling softly before looking around and carefully whispering into her ear so that no one else could possibly hear, infact so that blue barely heard him

Sonzai had been wandering aimlessly around the worlds. He had flown his airship somewhere and had found himself in a continent filled of snow. He flew above a village which he found to be interesting. He stopped the ship and let it hover in stealth mode above the city as he went to his quarters and search out for a book. According to the built in map the ship had; he was in a place known as the Cetra continent.
In his quarters Sonzai pulled out a book about Creta and opened it up. Finding no actual information as useful he simply got the book and placed it back into the shelf. For some reason he did not find anything about a continent filled with snow in Cetra; it was of no surprise to Sonzai, books could sometimes have missing information. After staring at his bookshelf a little longer Sonzai shrugged and slid the plastic door and locked it to prevent the books form falling if anything happened.
Sonzai walked back to the ship and wondered if he should park his airship on the airship port and decided against it. He’ll leave it somewhere in stealth mode; his airship could probably run a few more days without getting fueled. He thought about how this trip would be an interesting one. Most importantly; he would be able to learn something that books would not teach him. At least that had a big chance of happening.
He moved the ship forward and left the ship floating in stealth mode. Sonzai got off the ship and walked to the village, He was greeted with a lot of enthusiasm; this made Sonzai very happy. Although it had happened maybe once already, this experience was still new for him. Sonzai wondered if it was the village being friendly or not; when suddenly an apparently important person approached him and asked for his help.
Apparently the children were disappearing form the village mysteriously. Every time the children disappeared, what was left in the crime scene was a snowman, and it was then when the elders had told them about this old rhyme about Frosty the snowman. The tune had the same as the usual song that Sonzai already knew; however the lyrics were far more sinister than the original song.
Sonzai thought about it for a second and thought that a snowman would be easy to handle; especially since he would not be alone, the villagers had informed him that they had asked the help of various heroes; and would keep on asking to whomever crossed the town. Apparently the hunt would take place the next day. Everybody would head out and track the snowman at the same time.
The next day:
Sonzai had overslept at the inn where the villagers had let hi stay for free. This was because he had promised the villagers that he would help in beating the snowman along with the other warriors. He woke up hurriedly, put his clothes on, brushed his teeth and rushed off outside of the inn. The owner of which had told him how he was late for the big gathering and that everybody had already left to search off for the snowman. Sonzai answered how he already knew and he would somehow find his way. He made a dash out to the door and opened it. The cold slapped his face and woke him up completely. The cold ran down his cheeks and the breeze brushed his hair as it blew past him.
He ran toward the outskirts of the city and followed the footprints left by some of the other travelers.
Sonzai ran through the snowfield; each step he took making a soft crunching sound; and each time his feet made contact with the soft snow, a foot imprint was left on the snow. Slowly Sonzai heard battle noises from afar; as he moved forward and got closer and closer to the noise he saw it. The big bad snowman stood right there; further ahead.
“Sorry I am late guys!” exclaimed Sonzai; noticing that he had not missed much and that the battle had started not too long ago. He looked around him; he didn’t even notice that there was an army of snowmen in front of him. The minions started to throw Snowballs at Sonzai. A few of the snowballs hit him square in the chest. Although the snowmen had really good accuracy, Sonzai though about how it was not so menacing if they could only throw snowballs.
Sonzai extended his hand and his necklace moved itself out form Sonzai’s necklace and grew as it approached Sonzai’s hand. The scythe spun in place as it grew longer until it reached the length that was the perfect size for Sonzai to use.
“Magician’s slash” He said as he expected the scythe to get embedded with a Fire spell. If he was to battle ice; he would have to melt it away. He spun the scythe and let the handle rest against his back as he looked around and searched for the best way to attack. He slashed toward one of the snowmen in front of him; He slashed and expected a fire blade flew toward the snowman, but nothing happened. Confused at what happened, he dashed to the left and slashed at the snowman in front of him.
Could it be? He though. That Magic has been disabled? Sonzai started to worry a little, although he was apt for melee attacks, magic was half of his strength in his repertory of attacks. Without magic he could only fight at half of his full strength. This proved to be something troublesome; and Sonzai did not like the situation too much, this was a very disadvantageous situation for him.
The big bad snowman, Frosty the snowman, was just a few feet ahead. Sonzai slashed behind him as he took another snowman that was foolish enough to even get closer to him. Almost as if it didn’t know how fragile it was at close combat. Frosty up ahead looked at everybody in the battlefield and started to throw big chunks of snow at everybody in the perimeter. Sonzai looked at the ball and dodged sideways as he slashed at frosty; a slash strong enough to raise some snow up and cover him from Frosty’s vision as he dashed toward him and hit him square in the belly. Sonzai hoped it would do some damage at least. When the attack connected; it seemed to cause some damage, but Sonzai was not sure of how much damage he had just dealt to the icy man. After his flurry of attacks he had ended up a few feet away form the monster.
He then dashed forward again, each step feeling like soft clouds, the crunching noise and feeling under his feet; even during the battle Sonzai had enjoyed this feeling. It was the first time he had ever walked, or ran in this case, over snow. As Sonzai got closer and closer the snowman looked at him. It started to move its arms and more snowballs of quite the quatitative proportion made its way toward him. Sonzai moved to the side to dodge it; but Frosty The Snowman had secondary plans. The fishing of it had on its left arm which was being held by a branch of it, almost as it if had three hands. Sonzai didn’t notice this move and got whipped; slashed, and grazed by the fish line and the hook.
“Acktch” said Sonzai as he felt the sting of the attack. The fish hook caught up on Sonzai’s clothes and Frosty reeled him in with tremendous force. At the look of this turn out of events Sonzai took the chance to perform downward slash toward frosty. The blade made contact as Sonzai hit the icy snow. The snow felt cold and icy, the landing was somewhat soft, though Sonzai’s face and hands felt like they had just been slapped. Thankfully the snowman hadn’t done too much against him. Hitting the snow however; felt like a slap in the face. Sonzai got up slowly and ran toward frosty the snowman; he performed a 4 hit combo on it, each slash hitting what would normally be a vital point in other monsters, in the hopes that he could hit some weak spot on it.
Frosty the snowman let out a groan as it felt the blade of the scythe and moved it’s strong right branch arm, which was holding something that resembled a sword, or ax, and pushed Sonzai away, making Sonzai take physical damage form the blade’s slash along with being pushed away from the melee area.
Sonzai Got up slowly; his face red, with pieces of snow stuck on it. His hair had traces of snow that had stuck to him throughout this whole time. Sonzai was breathing heavily, the dry and cold air was constricting his lungs a little; and moving this much was making it hard for him to breathe correctly.
Sonzai needed a breather; so instead of continuing the fight he stood there, looking for any incoming attacks as he caught his breath back. A few snowmen quickly surrounded Sonzai during his breather; Sonzai looked at the snowmen and calculated the radius between him and the snowmen; he threw the scythe but without letting it go and had his hand slip until it reached the butt of the handle, then spun in place as he hit the snowman around him; slashing them in half as the Scythe’s blade passed through them; their icy bodies disintegrated into nothingness; and their bodies turned back into snow that floated freely on the cold air; surrounding Sonzai in a fine mist of snow. Sonzai stood there as the breathed heavily; a few of the snow particles filling his lungs; each breath of air as dry as the last one. The small particles of snow floating making the air felt even colder for him; each particle of snow filling up his nose in an uncomfortable feeling that continued down to his throat. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Word Count: 1690 Total: 1690
OOC: Draco you miss wrote your name as Doxm in one of your posts. Just letting you know; I also make the same mistake and keep writing my other RP names in here sometimes tho =3
OOC: great post and all, but All Magic is disabled. Every last bit dude, seriously Ruination at fully activation disables all magic for the remained of the thread
A frosty and violent wind lashed and whipped out at the metallic monster, threatening to freeze his steel defenses solid. His armor creaks and groans in complaint against the bitter cold. The forsaken and barren land seemed to do everything in its capability to delay the sky blue, armored atrocity. Despite nature’s fierce powers, the heartless killing machine was determined to see this little ‘quest’ through to the end.
His voyage was dreadful, to say the least. He had chanced the churning seas once again and once again taken a further disliking for it. Though it held unfathomable potential and power, it still made Exdeath queasy and uneasy. The white-crested waves were disastrous, constantly lapping against the ship as he had made his way to the icy land of the Ancients, or Cetra. The water occasionally spilled over onto the deck, washing over his feet, gradually freezing them where he stood. The winds were vigorous and relentless in their assault on his entirety, sending a biting chill down into his armor and piercing through his skin to his very bones. Why the Cetra inhabited such a desolate and frozen wasteland, Exdeath did not know. Why did they not prefer lush, green forests, when they had the ability to communicate with the earth itself? Another question Exdeath would not mind asking if he got his terrifying grip on a remaining Cetra. He did not know much of their history – partially because it did not concern him – that is why he silently inquired about them because they were a completely unknown race to him.
As soon as he stepped foot onto the land of the Ancients, his ears were assailed with wails and cries of broken-hearted woman and distraught fathers. Sorrow showered this poor village as they mourned over kidnapped children and cursed about some twisted snow-like creature that capture their sons and daughters. This display of pure anguish brought joy to Exdeath’s cold, blackened heart. The fact that someone, who seemed much like himself, could wreak such havoc and grief both pleased and infuriated Exdeath. He was glad to see another creature partaking in the ravaging of the world’s population; however, he was also furious at the knowledge that there was competition for being the most malicious soul in existence. His ego was too great to allow another to join in the conquest for death of all the races, other than the Empire’s Court Mage, Kefka. That is why he was more than willing to partake in the obliteration of the beast that haunted the lamenting village. Not because it was the right and just thing to do, but because he disliked competition.
The fearsome armor-clad man trudged through the treacherous snow and blizzard as he followed the general direction given to him by the townsfolk. They were a useless bunch of sniveling, feeble creatures. The woeful cries of the villagers nearly made Exdeath’s ears bleed and nearly forced him to vent his anger out of the pathetic civilians. Though he had done such a terrible crime before, at the moment, he was focused on bigger things: getting rid of the competition.
The cyclone-like whirlwinds constantly buffeted him as he proceeded through the dire flurries. His situation seemed grim, as he was appearing more and more lost in the vicious gales of the snowy continent. His armor had accumulated a great deal of snow; consequently, he was required to melt it off with the help of his Fire magic. It was a stupid decision because now both his armor and himself were freezing. His armor moved increasingly mechanical as it became less fluid and more solidified together. Every joint seemed to merge with another. A truly frustrating circumstance he was in, without a doubt.
Admittedly, Exdeath was taken aback as several miniature snow figures came into his slotted view. He did not know what to make of them; regardless, once they started attacking him, he knew he found the beast he was looking for. There were not many of the midget snowmen yet they all cumulatively launched a rain of snowballs at him. However, they were ineffective as they merely bounced off his armor that glowed with a slight hint of purple. With a quick snort, Exdeath sarcastically said, ”Really? I thought this would have been more of a challenge.” His arm extended and his palm faces out. Mana swiftly flowed through his body, out his hand, in a form of red and orange flame that quickly consumed all of the tiny snowmen. Pathetic was Exdeath’s thought. He assumed there would be more of a trial than this.
As he progressed ahead through the blizzard. His giant weight caused him to sink deep into the snow and it was getting increasingly difficult for him to go on. Still, the thought of him being upstaged by some twisted snowman was very irritating, so it drove him forward until he finally stumbled upon a massive battle scene.
There were several characters that seemed to be doing the same as him – or at least, what he was about to do: defeat Frosty. He did not recognize most; however, he was able to see a familiar shape and fighting style. One that he knew from a recent experience belonged to the demon child, Miumi. The child was and would always be, as it appeared, a thorn in his side. Nonetheless, he was not here to fight the boy, he would save that for another time. What he was here for was the great, monstrous creature that Miumi was striking.
The horrific brute was certainly a remarkable sight. The animated snow being was composed of rotten looking snow, with splashes of crimson red that resembled blood. Lashed onto one of its wooden limbs was a cruel looking blade. On the other, a smaller arm extended from its elbow and it carried a frightful fishing rod. Its free hand was sharp and threatening, as it looked strong enough to tear through even the toughest of flesh. Setting atop its head was a black, decaying hat. On its face was a decomposing carrot nose that was crooked and hooked. It bore a toothy and bestial grin that filled its entire face. Its worst feature of all was the most malicious eyes – next to his own – Exdeath had ever seen. They were very black and seemed to shine with a voracious appetite for blood and souls.
Exdeath had to admit, the snowman looked formidable. However, Exdeath was sure he could overcome it. Extending his arm and pointing his palm at Frosty, as he had at the miniscule snowmen, Exdeath began to excite the mana in his body. His plans were drastically changed for the worse, no doubt, as he suddenly felt all his mana drain from his body. What is bloody hell is happening? Exdeath thought angrily. He felt abruptly heavy and much colder. What kind of curse was this?
He scanned the warzone and found the source of the muting of magic. It was a sorceress that intervened in his attempts at magic. Fury seethed inside him as he glared callously at the woman. Yet he soon noticed that Frosty was unable to cast his magic, as well. He was still aggravated, but it was for the better for the woman to have cast that spell. Now it made actually contact with the warped snowman much easier. Luckily, Exdeath was proficient in combat, as well.
There was quite a distance between him and the repulsive snowman, yet he quickly covered that distance with the help of his long legs. In the time that he ran towards the snowman, he managed to withdraw his golden blade, Hopesbane, and prepare it for attack. Frosty was still intent on trying to cast magic, but nothing came as a result. Once Exdeath was close enough, though, it resorted to physical altercation. Soon, Exdeath’s blade clashed with Frosty’s as the two pushed mightily against one another. This was a strength match Exdeath was not about to lose, however, as he mustered a great deal of force and overcame Frosty’s blade, causing the beast to shuffle back a few steps.
Taking the upper hand advantage, Exdeath cleaved into Frosty’s side, leaving a wide gashed and removing quite a decent portion of snow. Frosty grunted in pain, yet was quick to retaliate. The fishing rod came out of nowhere and whipped at Exdeath’s armor. To no avail, however, as a slightly transparent purple aura protected him from such a minor attack.
Inside, Exdeath still cursed the female Mage from eliminating all his ability to use magic. This would have be so much easier with magic. His glare was deathly as he took his anger out of the corrupt snowman. His anger gave him an extra boost of adrenaline, partially increasing his speed as he slashed viciously at the ‘unfortunate’ snowman. Frosty would rue the day he decided to return and compete for the crown of destruction and sadism. Exdeath would not let anyone take his rightful title away as destroyer of the world. It was his very purpose for existing, killing, and utter genocide. For what other reason would thousands of evil souls, demons and monsters converge into one entity to accomplish? Trick question: no other reason than the death of the entire population of Gaia.
Therefore, he continued his rain of slashes and cuts until he was finally pushed away by the beast. It seemed it was only getting more and more upset and angry, as it was closer and closer to death. At least soon, Exdeath would have the peace of mind knowing his competitor would be out of commission, permanently. Nevertheless, for the moment, he would have to leave the slaying of the beast, regrettably, in the hands of others because his armor was refusing to budge. Cursing wildly into the air, Exdeath struggled to free himself of the continent’s icy bonds. He would get the killing stroke on Frosty and he would relish every last moment of it. First, he just needed to unfreeze himself.

“Work you stupid piece of-!” August slurs out in frustration as he smacks the Eastern Star with a hand, knocking the ice away from Frosty’s attack. This was getting ridiculous, in this weather, there was no way the gun would completely free up without the aid of its own generating heat. He tries rubbing his hands quickly over the brass to generate heat, blowing on it, tucking it under his arm, anything to hasten the melting process. In desperation, August looks around for something hard to hit it on. There of course was Frosty himself, but that probably wouldn’t be a wise idea. There were also the other people around here as well, again not such a great idea. There was also a thin and flimsy tree nearby that looked as if it was about to keel over and die. Then, there was something very large and metal assaulting Frosty, an armored behemoth that slowly froze to the natural eliminates. Back on his feet, August run over to the frozen statue of armor, sliding in the snow beside it as if it were some natural formation of cover.
“Terribly sorry about this,” August apologizes to Exdeath, “But you’re the hardest thing here. Only take a moment.” He raises his rifle and slams it into Exdeath’s back, the armor shell of the walking tree of malcontent making the perfect surface to shatter the ice from the Eastern Star. The ice falls away and the rifle is free once more. August taps Exdeath on the shoulder. “Thank you kindly.” He smirks as he rolls away, spinning into a crouch with the rifle raised, takes aim and fires… only nothing comes out. It makes a click and fizzling sound, something was interfering with the magic based components. Somehow, he wasn’t surprised and just rolled his eyes. He stood back up, defeated by his own invention and the others here to battle the devil, cruel irony, and walks away from the heart of the battle. He plops down in the snow, legs crossed with the rifle across his lap as he waits for either the thing to die or eat him, whichever came first.

The pair look at each other as they see more and more people crawl out of the wood work so to say and attack the snowman, Blue herself kneels down and packs up her doll as the Demon watches the strange armoured thing freeze in place, it didn't seem to be like anything he'd ever encountered before but for now it was frozen stuck.
"Oh?"
Blue said as she stood back up, her briefcase in one hand now she points with the other at Exdeath and the ratman bashing his gun against him.
"Thats a strange person Belzera, what is it?"
The demon raises an eyebrow and looks at her, chuckling softly after a second, the demon recognised the man as a Burmecian even though he'd encounted only a few before now, which wasn't surprising since he had arrived originally on Gaia after Alexandrias invasion of the Burmecian lands.
"Its a Burmecian, a strange rat man race neighbours to Alexandria and also seems to be having"
The Demon squints before he luaghs
"Gun trouble"
Blue and Belzera turn to each other and then luagh loudly before Blue slaps Belzera's back hard and steps forward slightly.
"Guess your suggestion screwed everyone else over huh Belzera?"
She asks the demon with a wide grin as she drops the breifcase again and cracks her knuckles while the demon summons Adonis back to his hand and stands next to the sorceress once again, also wearing a large grin on his face. Both of them holding back their laughter.
"Not my fault your a failure of a sorceress who is best at destroying magic"
"True true, guess we should finish off this guy for them eh Belzera?"
The Pair grins and standing side by side, in the extact same stance they both hold up one hand. Belzera his right and Blue her left.
"On 1?"
"Nah lets make it 3 Belzera, give them more chance to move"
The demon nods and both of them breathe in as Frosty turns to look at them, angry and nearly defeated, its eyes seem to sharpen as it moves towards them.
"One" "Un"
Four dozen balls of mist appear behind the pair, quickly forming into copies of the blade Belzera holds in his left hand, no one would say this wasn't overkill really.
"Two" "Duex"
The pair close their fists and turn to look at each other, both smirking faintly as the blades are fully formed
"FIRE"
They both shout as the air is filled by four simultanious sonic booms that blast away the snow from around Blue and Belzera and all the way upto Frosty the snowman who is launched backwards through the air. Blue bursts from her position and runs after Frosty as Belzera leaps into the air and glides above her also chasing after the airborn snowman.
"Let this be"
Belzera starts as he smashes Frosty downwards towards the ground using the hilt of the Adonis.
"the final move"
Blue finishes as she backflips, smashing Frosty back into Belzera's attack as she lands back on her feet and clentches her fist. The Demon spins himself around as Frosty flies back upto him and returns Blue's pass upto him before flying straight up into the air.
"Up High"
She shouts out as she leaps up and uppercuts Frosty higher into the air as he is about to hit the ground, she then kneels down and prepares to leap up into the air as she watches. Belzera looks down seeing Frosty flying back up through the air. He positions himself above the flying foe and grins, folding up his wings allowing himself to fall, his legs aimed at Frosty and once more smashing into his body, he could see the snow and ice that made the snowman start breaking away as the demon drives him faster and faster to the ground before spreading his wings using them like a parachute he pulls up into the air as Blue leaps up to Frosty from below and smashes her head into the middle section of the snowman before she grabs his arms and flips them so they are both headfirst before she starts to spin leading them both into nose dive into the hard ground. She grins at the twisted snowman before she shouts at him.
"I'm not hear for any other reason than finding out what thereset of these fools where doing here"
Belzera quickly goes into a dive with his wings and arms held close to the body in order to speed up and to catch up with the falling pair before they hit the ground, swearing under his breathe at Blue as she continues to speak.
"Frankly if you hadn't cuased any trouble right now you'd of gotten off scot free from me and Belzera"
She finishes off eying the ground that was getting closer and closer, the wind whistling past her numb ears.
"Let go Blue, let go right now"
She heard as Belzera screams it at her, grabbing her collar as Blue chuckles letting go of Frosty before blowing him a kiss. Belzera pulls her to his chest tightly and spreads his wings and swoops past Frosty who hits the ground with a large and terrible sounding thud, the demon however manages to only skid across the nearby snow before stopping. He releases Blue who stands up and rushes towards the impact site while the demon pulls himself onto his feet and moves up behind her, summoning the Adonis back to his hand just incase Frosty wasn't defeated just yet.
"that should be the end of him for now at least"
Blue says watching the dust and snow settle for a few moments as she feels the demon right behind her. Belzera nods at her words but like her he continues to watch for any more signs of movement from Frosty the twisted snowman.
"Well with any luck at least my dear Blue"

*With his feet firmly planed on the ground he shot out of the snow, just to see Frosty land in a heap about twenty feet away from Draco.* ~{Well we could robably do that....yeah no, unless we were in perfect harmony.Which we will be one day}~
*Draco sees the snow man twitch as he is down. Draco doesn't need anymorea reason to continue to play in the snow. He jumps the distance between him and the demon. Draco erects his body in an attempt to slice straight through Frosty. An attempt which was successful, and for the second time in about a minute, Draco found himself surrounded by snow. He was pretty sure he had passed all the way through the creature. Since it had worked out well the first time, he dug till he found the ground, but instead of lauching straight back up he decided to jump out the side of thecreature. Sonzai looked al the scenes unfolding around him. Apparently the blue sorceress was the reason why magic was not useable; the ferret looking guy was unable to use his weapon due to magic being disabled, and there was a huge bulk of walking armor that had done an appearance and then… froze.
Sonzai had found it funny how the rat, ferret looking guy, whatever he was, had tried to break out the ice form his gun on the armor of the lump of metal. It was hard to hold in the laughter, but Sonzai had to. He knew that if he laughed it would make it bad for him; since the place was so bloody cold.
The wind picked up and a chill started to run down Sonzai’s body. He saw the sorceress and a demon perform a strong attack toward the snowman; and it looked like they had finished him of; but that was not the case. The army of snowmen had not vanished completely yet; and Frosty had done a small movement in the snow while the demon painted his sword down toward it.
Everybody else was doing such a great job; and he was not really dong much of anything. Sonzai raised his scythe and tilted it so he could grab it with his other hand too. A couple of snowmen had appeared and started to throw small snowball at Sonzai; one of which got him in the ear. Wincing in pain Sonzai tried to ignore what had just happened and started walking toward Frosty. Snowballs kept hitting him. His body was getting cold and numb. If only there was fire around. He wished for a second to be next to a cozy fireplace so he didn’t have to endure this cold.
He moved forward and found himself next to the Lucavi and the sorceress. As he was walking some other warrior had started to make a barrage against the snowman. It was smart, to say the least, in the meaning that moving a lot would warm him up; as for the attacks. The movement was so flashy that he could not even see if he was hitting anything or not; the amount of snow lifted up into the air made it really difficult to see after all.
“You two look like a strong bunch; that was some awesome display of powers” Sonzai said to the two who were now standing next to him; trying to make small talk and see if he could somehow get to meet new friends.
Sonzai didn’t take his eyes out of the snow flurry that had been created by the flashy guy; as the snow started to settle in, he saw form within the shadows a snowman figure standing. It was not dead yet; they had collectively injured him heavily, but it was not enough. Sonzai placed himself in a battle position and ran forward with his scythe’s blade behind him. As he got closer to Frosty Sonzai made a big swing toward Frosty and sent him flying off to the air, his left hand letting go of the scythe.
He had never tried an aerial combo but he would now. Sonzai jumped after sending Frosty up to the air and started to move his arm in a circular motion in order to allow the scythe to take a horizontal position; with his left hand he grabbed the portion of the handle that was under the right hand. Sonzai proceeded to perform a horizontal slash at Frosty; he moved his scythe up and then quickly swung down and sideways in order to connect the next hit. Sonzai let the scythe continue its course and a quick upper slash was made as he spun mid air. Sonzai kept letting the scythe’s momentum drive him as he spun 4 times in the air while his scythe slashed diagonally up and down in an alternating pattern. After the fourth spin Sonzai lifted his scythe u. He spun in the air once more with his scythe raised high; Sonzai bent both his arms in a huge telegraphic motion as he prepared to swing the scythe down with all his strength. The scythe’s blade came down with a huge amount of force and hit Frosty with a vertical slash. The force of the slash sent the abominable snowman crashing toward the snowy floor.
Sonzai felt gravity pull him down; he landed on the snow, a light crunch sound came under his feet as he made contact with the snow, shortly after Frosty made a loud thud as it the floor. Snow flew off in all directions as the deep imprint of the snowman was left deep inside the now. Sonzai looked down at the snowman imprint that had just been left by his attack against Frosty. He looked down and stared at the snowman; checking for any small movements that could tell him if frosty was still alive or if he was finally done for; Sonzai was hoping for the second probability.
After the snowman moved a few Sonzai verified that it was still very much alive; but this was his limit now. His fingers were numbing. Frostbite overtook him. He would keep attacking but holding the scythe alone was painful now. The cold wind was getting to him; the temperature was simply arctic for him. Sonzai walked as the snowman kept throwing snowballs at him.
Sonzai moved toward the snowmen, which were lining up in a row, and simply used the butt of the scythe to poke a hole on them, moving the handle around; and then having the snowman simply die by falling apart. He did this to the 4 snowmen that were bothering the living nightmare out of him. They had been throwing countless amounts of useless snowballs at him, and the only thing that these creatures had accomplished was to get Sonzai annoyed and feeling like a purple Popsicle.
Sonzai then recalled his scythe and put his hands inside his sleeves and hugged himself in hopes that he would warm up enough. He trusted that the others would simply take care of the rest and he would not have to do anything more; at least he didn’t think he could without the aid of magic. Sonzai walked back to where the Lucavi and the sorceress were. After he reached the spot where the two were standing he looked at them and jumped in place in hopes he would warm up like that and said “This... turned out fun didn’t it?” hoping that the other two would not just look at him as if he were some weird, crazy, and socially awkward person.

*Draco ran for cover as the snowman got up. It flicked its "wrist" as it began to rise, forming a giant snowball coming Draco's way. Draco twisted his body in time to look back and be ran over by the colossal snowball. Draco put one clawed foot down as hard as he could in a split second, making him fall to the ground. With one knee braced on the ground, and his foot also bracing him, he shoulders the snowball. As his body is crushed into the snow he pushes off, and dives. He does this in an attempt to get through the snowball, otherwise he would be in for a long ride. He clears the snowball except one foot, which is soon dragged up, as the snowball rolls. He waits till his head clears the ground, and Draco uses his arms and hips to back flip out of it.*
*Draco Turned in triumph only to be blasted back with a trio blast of snowballs. The first of the barrage caught Draco in his head sending him sprawling back as the other two hit him in the torso knocking the wind out of him. Before Draco could recover, Frosty dropped another over sized snowball directly onto Draco.*
~{Ok that sucked, but then again we kinda deserved it for mutilating him.}~
*Draco tired of flailing around in snow, just pushed himself upward with all his force/ As the snow cleared his vision he met with a giant stick to the face. Frosty had just backhanded Draco about forty feet away. Plowing head first into the snow was not the best thing, but if it weren't for the snow, even in his beast form, Draco probably would have been injured, and it may have been serious.*
* Draco laid still for a few moments, seeming as though he had past out. He then stirred and peeled his self out of the pile of collected snow he had made as he rocketed through the snow. Draco started whispering his voice rising with every word until he was screaming at the last word* "{Your gonna fucking Die CLOWN!}" *Draco's claws gleamed from the glare from the snow. He stood there panting, more out of rage then the attack he had just weathered. He took one slow deliberate step forward. Then in the blink of an eye he shot into the snowman's face. He attached himself there with his clawed feet, and began tearing out Frosty's face. His long forgot about predator still extended adding to everything he was doing. Draco was able to overwhelm the demon for a few seconds. Finally Frosty got over the surprise of Draco latching onto his face, and swatted at him. When he finally hit Draco, he tore of snow that Draco had attached himself to. *
*Draco hit the ground, his face in a demonic smile as he started to quench a thirst for carnage, a thirst that had just begun. His moment was cut short as Frosty brought down a wooden fist. Draco just laughed at the pain. A distorted laugh, full of mock and hate. Frosty continued pounding him, only to get the same result every time. Draco broken and bleeding waiting for his next chance to fill this feeling of destruction that now controlled him. He never got the chance as Frosty this time picked up another mound of snow, compressing it till it was hard as ice, and began using that to silence Draco. Draco not liking this attempted to get up all to have Frosty heave with all his might the ball of ice and snow onto Draco. The pile did not stir, and Frosty turned to face the other challengers who planned on stopping his evil reign* ------------------------------------------ WC:628 Exp:62.8 Total: 2108wc/ 223.5
What did this pitiful world have against him anyway? He knew he was malicious and cruel beyond fathoming; however, what kind of warped creator fashioned the horrid and torturous snowy climate of Cetra? This place was obviously put here to torment the large, metallic man, or test him through some unusual and barbaric means. The nature of this land fought against Exdeath’s very will as it harassed him and made defeating the twisted snowman harder than it should have been.
The wind never ceased its relentless attack at Exdeath’s armor as it furiously swirled around him. The icy gusts slithered inside his armor like slippery and devious snakes and venomously assaulted the very core of his body. His whole body tingled with a peculiar sensation as he could feel he fingers numb, then his hands, and soon his arms. He could slowly feel his entirety freeze in place. No matter how hard he attempted to move and remove this blasted aliment from himself, he could not. The vicious effects of the barrage of subzero winds only added to Exdeath’s deep and ominous loathing of this forsaken and ultimately doomed world. When he attained the fearsome power to rain ultimate destruction and apocalypse down upon this pathetic world, he would be sure to target this desolate and vexing continent first, and he would be doing most people a favour, or so he believed. The cold weather deemed itself a curse upon the face of the world. The only method to rid the undeserving planet of such a vile climate would be to completely destroy it from existence and that is what he would do, and then he would proceed to annihilate the rest of the world.
His massive weight sank deeper into the vast layer of snow beneath his figure. He was about knee deep and the only direction he was going was further down. His situation was certainly appearing to have an ill fate in store for him; nevertheless, this was not how he was going to die. The way he was going to die was taking on an army of thousands. An army that would come and make a hardened and earnest effort to defeat him before he could unleash Armageddon on this dismal planet. Although, they would not vanquish him in time because he would let loose a terrifying tragedy upon the unsuspecting world that would bring about its cataclysmic demise. While he would eventually be killed, it would not be before his beautiful and infernal vision of the world’s end came to life and because a nightmarish reality. That would be how he would die, not in this revolting land of freezing temperatures and harsh winds. No, he would overcome this challenge and set himself above the rest because he was better than this.
For the time being, though, he watched as those around him battled the corrupt snowman, from his frozen state and position and assessed their abilities accutely and keenly.
He noticed a rat-like Burmecian not far off from him. He looked very genteel and properly dressed, gentleman-like to say the least. However, he appeared to be having some issue with the gun he was holding and had used to attack Frosty. Exdeath could see the humanoid rat look around as if searching for something. Finally, its seeking eyes settled on Exdeath’s frozen, enormous figure. He assumed the man’s gun was having minor technical difficulties. The man had run through the thick snow and slide lightly behind Exdeath, as if taking up a defense position behind the colossal, steel wall. Exdeath could not see what the rat was doing; regardless, he soon felt the ice-covered gun slam into his armored back. The sharp impact caused Exdeath to shake all over from the reverberations. Anger flared inside him as he realized he was just used to aid the man in unfreezing his gun. It was outrageous and disgraceful. What made it worse was that the pathetic thing still did not function even after all the ice was broken off, thanks to his statuesque state. If only Exdeath could move, the rat figure would be taking up permanent residence in the frosty hills of Cetra. Despite all of Exdeath’s fury, the rat was lucky. Exdeath could see from the corner of his eye, the rat man skulking off out of the battle as he found himself useless to assist any further. Whether or not he had helped before, Exdeath did not know. But if he had a chance, Exdeath would wringe his scrawny neck and break it.
What was happening now? Exdeath felt strange because he could actually FEEL movement in his body once again. His limbs were slowly starting to move around and he was starting to get some mobility back. It looked as if that rat helped him out more than he thought - he was still going to thrash his to death, though. The vibrating collision had resurrected some of Exdeath’s sensitivity; nonetheless, it would still take him a few minutes to return to full caliber. These few moments gave him enough time to watch the sorceress, who was the source for irritating the magical disruption, and her demon companion to assail the snowy beast once more.
Exdeath’s dark brown eyes intently observed the purple-skinned demon and sorceress in action. They both appeared to be joking around with each other, which Exdeath found rather aggravating. The pair looked to be conceited and arrogant, thinking they were the best. Exdeath hated those kinds of people with a passion. Only he was allowed to be so vain and smug, and so he harbored a natural abhorred, contempt towards the two that would not be easily relinquished. The only reason he was so egotistical and haughty was that he had the most unique origin, thus - in his mind - placing himself high above the rest. Could others boast they were brought to life by the process of sentience a simple tree of the Great Moore Forest experienced and went through? No. Could others say that they housed several thousands of evil souls, demons, and monsters inside their single entity? No. Most of them could say they possessed a single, dark soul, but not countless numbers of malicious souls. Only Exdeath could brag about such an existence and individuality. Consequently, he scrutinized every action the pair made and judged them harshly.
From the little he could hear, the couple was doing some silly countdown before they began their attack on the sentient snowman. Behind the couple, numerous amounts of swords began to materialize and they all resembled the blade the purple-skinned demon held in his hand. Gradually, the intangible blades became noticeably corporeal. Once the countdown was complete, they both shouted “FIRE” at the same time and a sonic blast could be heard as the blades blasted towards the unwary Frosty. Once the blades took off, so did the two of them. The sorceress took the low ground while the demon took off into the air, knocking Frosty back to the ground with his blade. The girl attacked him before he could even land and sent him flying back up into the air. The two continue their overwhelming onslaught as Exdeath watched with a keen eye. The demon was now driving his feet into the snowman’s body, breaking away some chunks of the snow and ice that composed the beast. The two did not end there as the woman flew up into the air, grabbed the snowman, and proceeded to pound on him before nose-diving hazardously towards the icy and hard ground. Lucky for the woman, she was saved by the winged demon. Unfortunately, for Frosty, he was not as he crashed into the ground with a devastating force.
Certainly, the combination of the demon and sorceress proved to be formidable; however, they did not fully establish their worth in Exdeath's eyes because he saw the snow creature still moving in the newly created crater. A new figure jumped into the mix, though, and began attacking the fallen snow beast. The man looked as if he was playing a game of hide and seek as he leapt from snow heap to snow heap, attacking whenever he had the chance. Most of his strikes appeared to be successful and they were doing quite a bit of damage. However, it was not very impressive to Exdeath. Not much impressed the stone cold and blackened heart giant. One needed to be of superior talent and skill to make an impression in his mind. Therefore, not many people made the standards he had set and was looking for. Many fell below the lines these days, proving how feeble this miserable world was becoming. Nonetheless, the world’s time was coming to an end, so was its inhabitants. Sooner than later, they would all perish in hellish flames and overwhelming power.
As the other man seemed to finish his game of hide and seek attacks, another new character stepped into brawl-like play. This man's appearance alone seemed notable; no matter, looks were not everything. The pale-looking man summoned a scythe for a weapon and took his turn at attempting to demolish the freaky snowman. Exdeath had to be honest, the man knew how to smoothly handle his blade; nevertheless, in the end, the man still did not conquer the snow beast.
The man’s offensive began with an uprooting swing that sent Frosty flying into the air. Once in the air and unable to properly defend it, the man proceeded to assail Frosty with a horizontal slash, then a downwards, and then a speedy upwards slash. Exdeath watched as the man spun, diagonally slashing in an irregular manner. Completing his aerial blitz, the man spun once more before vertical cleaving at the snowman, sending him soaring towards the ground. The man landed more gently than Frosty as Frosty crashed, creating a giant storm of snow and caused large chunks of ice to fly all around the vicinity. Though the snowman was still moving visibly, the man walked off, done for now. Yet again, a mediocre display.
The man (Draco) who had previously attacked, began to attack once again. However, Exdeath did not pay attention, as he was lost in his fuming thoughts.
Pathetic. All of them. Useless. Feeble. Perfect examples of the debility the world was coming to. None were able to finish off the creature. I guess it is time for me to act and end what others could not. Spiteful thoughts floated in Exdeath’s demonic and calculating mind. Now was his time to take action, no longer would he feebly wait to freeze and become just as useless as these other fighters. He would conclude this fight and then return to a normal location where it was warm and comforting, not biting cold, and wretched. From deep down in his core, he summoned all the power within him. All his souls began to simultaneously perform as one. He could feel their power rise in him. Slowly, but surely he could feel all his limbs flourish with proper blood flow once more. He began to get the feeling back in his fingers and toes. His armor also defrosted a bit, allowing him more mobility.
A deep grunt emitted from Exdeath’s core as he shattered the ice that formed on him. He was ready to finish off this pathetic excuse for a soul-collector. Hopesbane was held firm in his hand and from his sunken position in the ground, he launched forth with a new vigor for death and havoc. He did not allow the snowman time to compose itself, after its last beating, as he began to rain down hell upon the hopeless beast.
The snowman was still attempting to stand as Exdeath assailed him with a diagonal blow to the shoulder, slicing a large portion of yellow-black snow from the ice demon. The snowman’s twig-blade reacted to try to stab at Exdeath, but Exdeath countered quickly with a ravaging blow to its arm. The disastrous blow to the creature’s arm completely broke it, as the section from the elbow and down fell to the snow. The snowman was getting desperate, as it knew death when it saw it. Exdeath’s steely cold eyes bore into the black, empty ones of Frosty. A callous smile curled on Exdeath’s face. Raising his golden blade, he brought his blade down upon the unaffected shoulder of Frosty, utterly severing the shoulder completely, along with its other arm. Next in rapid succession, Exdeath stabbed the frosted midsection of the beast until it looked as if someone had stepped upon it several times, ruining it beyond repair. Now that poor Frosty lay there, his torso entirely smashed and flattened, both his arms detached, Exdeath knelt before and spoke in a low, menacing tone.
”Before I kill you, know this: I detest competition in this world. Death and murder is my forte and they will always be. Now that you are defeated, stay down and dead, and do not rise again, or I will come back destroy you once again. You do not belong in my world and you shall be an example to all other demons and monsters that those who dare stand between me and my fun will end up in your predicament: dead and forgotten.” Those words said, Exdeath stood tall, towering over the crumpled snowman. In one swift circular motion, his golden blade decapitated the large snowman. Then, lifting his large, metal boot, he looked at the relatively intact face of the cursed snowman once last time before stepping down atop its head. A sickening, but also joyous crunch was audible, clearly the carrot nose breaking. Raising his boot from the squashed snowman’s head, Exdeath looked down with a pleasured expression. His rival now lay wasted across the barren lands of Cetra, the winds blowing the desecrated remains of the twisted snowman’s spirit all over.
Turning away from the scene, he had accomplished what he came to do, subsequently Exdeath proceeded to leave this pestilent continent for one that was warmer. A continent where his armor would not freeze and where he could relax, demolish a village or two, knowing that his title as supreme malicious being was safe.
A s the battle went on the effects of the other's spell known as ruination spread quickly hitting the teddy bear it was the first time they had ever had this happen but suddenly Miumi felt his link sever, that voice in his mind went silent he fell to the ground. For a few brief moments Miumi was dazed but his teddy bear was laying in the ground cold and unmoving. Suddenly he realized something was wrong and the tears slid slowly down the side of his face. As he focused his magical energy began to burn up quickly as he tried to reform the link but nothing was working. As he pushed off the ground running past the others who were fighting to the teddy bear. The bear's eyes were still filled with life but it was quickly fading. He pressed his hands over where the heart would be. Miumi was transferring his own life into the bear. The fatigue was obvious as Miumi kept sobbing. He was pumping energy in with each thrust. Slowly Miumi was breaking down to near hysterics. As the tears were falling quickly not even having time to freeze in the cold. As he kept trying. He leaned down listening and feeling for breath coming from the bear. He could feel and hear nothing. As he looked at the demon for a moment and then to Blue and Belzerra. His eyes were pleading for help. He couldn't be alone not now...
" Ayamu, don't die please... you can't leave me... I don't want to be alone.... please Ayamu wake up..... stop playing this game.... come on move please Ayamu just say your all right. Mister.... W hen Miumi spoke his voice broke and trembled. Miumi couldn't lose Ayamu. As memories flooded back to their times at the castle how Ayamu's first body had been destroyed and Miumi had managed to take the other's soul and life and weave it into another vessel with the help of the higher up demons. As Miumi was pumpnig life into the other other's could probably see it's effect Miumi's eyes were loosing their own flicker until Miumi's body just collasped he couldn't move he was so tired. Slowly he reached out pulling Ayamu closer. Miumi was ready to say good-bye. Now as he felt the other's pressence fading more and more each second.
" Please... don't die Ayamu. "
H e whispered to himself stroking his tear stained face. he expected the other to say it's okay Milord but there was nothing.
