In the morning, though every time of day was always the same in Treno since the sun never rose on the city, there arrives a certain widow of the late Mr. Krasnow. A debonair Vieran woman of refinement and taste, and also a connoisseur of liquor and as per her typical behavior, she was still buzzed from drinking on the airship to the city. She probably never stopped drinking during her entire ski trip. This would make her an easy mark, she was too sauced to really understand the scope of her behavior.
She enters through the gates of the city with her assistants who try to keep her from tripping over herself. "Get off me!" She commands, ripping her arms free from her assistants, scolding them and assuring them she was fine. "Now, go to the estate ahead of me, I-I wish to get a refreshment at the cafe before I head home." The assistants nervously look to each other, unsure if they should leave her in such a state. "Go!" She barks, smacking the assistants across their faces. They quickly flee for the estate.
Stumbling down the stairs to the fountain plaza, she stumbles into another noble and excuses her self with a laugh. This shouldn't be difficult at all for any would be kidnapper.

The woman spins around like a sloppy tornado, head slightly woozy and eyes bloodshot. "Oh! Startled me there." She says with a slight laugh as her hand lightly taps Draco's shoulder. "I'd love to follow a young man like you." She says with a slur. "They said you'd be waiting for me, did you wait long? Ah, but that's what you're paid for, isn't it. Lead on." She motions for the two to walk, though she starts walking off without him, heading to the western district where the nobles stay.
It slowly becomes clear that this might be more difficult then it would first appears, as she continuously stumbles over her own feet. She also rambles on about her trip, all the interesting things she saw and did. For a cold, detached noble, she certainly seemed friendly enough. Far less stuck up than many of the other nobles, but of course, this alcohol could be causing most of this unusual friendly behavior.
Meanwhile, across town at the Krasnow estate.
The two assistants approach August as he is walking down the grande staircase. "Sir, your mother has arrived."
Curiously, August looks to the two with a raised brow as he reaches the landing of the stairs. "Has she, and where might she be then?"
Nervously, the two assistants look to each other, unsure what to say. "Sir, she requested that we go on ahead and deliver word of her arrival." "She was quite adamant that we leave her be." August does not look amused by the two, clearly they were being lax in their duties. "And so you just left her to wander around the city? You realize that she is now the heiress of one of the largest fortunes in all of Treno? Her name and face plastered in every paper in town and you think that she'll be perfectly fine walking around here unescorted?"
The two look slightly confused. "But, we were told someone was meeting her for escort." "There was, but we just found out the man we hired is sick, he won't be meeting her and even if that was the case you shouldn't have left her alone, idiots!" He was half tempted to smack them around for their ignorance. "You get back out there and find her and bring her right here, now! If you come back empty handed I'll personally make sure you never see daylight ever again! Now get out of my sight!" He barks and scolds, shooing the two away, pushing them out the front door and slamming it behind them.
From the opposite hallway, Kane emerges, looking as intimidating as any fiend. August turns to him. "This doesn't bode well, if anything happened to her... snap those two little weasel's necks." Kane nods, while August storms off to the assembly room for a pipe.

*Draco had planned for her to be sober so this would be a little simpler. She had been perfectly fine accepting his story of him being her escort. She didn't have too much of a problem stumbling back to her house. When she reached a certain point Draco stepped close behind her, and grabbed her. One of his arms wrapped around both her arms and her torso. His other arm wrapped around her face, with a cloth. He held it there for a few seconds waiting for her to stop moving. When he was certain she was asleep he hid her real quick in an alley. He pulled up the collar of his shirt, which came up to cover his nose, and then he pulled out a handkerchief and wrapped it around his head. Only his eyes and a small part of his hair could be seen. Mrs. Krasnow was too drunk to realize what was happening at first, her brain just too lost in sauce that she couldn’t comprehend the gravity of the situation. Only when she was flung over the man’s shoulder, did sobriety flood back to her but by then the knockout drug in the cloth had already taken full effect. She drifted off to a black sleep. She wouldn’t wake till she’d been long bound in Draco’s warehouse.
-Meanwhile-
The two assistants have scoured the city for any sign of the one they were suppose to assist at all time, their failure will assuredly result in them being ‘let-go’, or worse. The auction house, the social clubs, the cafés, shops, and stores and yet no where was she to be found. They couldn’t go back till they had her in their custody and with each passing minute; the chance of this seemed to grow fainter and fainter.

*Draco finally made it back to the warehouse, and let out a huge sigh. The difficult part was over. Before he let himself get comfortable, he bound, gagged, blindfolded, and tied her to a post in the warehouse. He gave himself a minute of relaxation, he had after all been up all night. Five minutes later Draco got up and grabbed the prepared ransom note asking for half a million gil. This would last Draco a long time, if he got away with it. He just needed on more element, her hair. He extended his blades to the half way, and walked over to the lady and cut off a small lock of hair. As he went to put it in the envelope, another idea crossed his mind. Maybe some blood might add to the drama. At first he decided to just prick her finger, then noticing how bound she was, decided against it. He saw her cheek, slender and slightly protruding, as it did with most female. He leaned back over and cut her cheek. He put the note under her cheek and let it drop onto the bottom of the letter. This left a dual cut mark on her cheek, if she survived this encounter, she would forever be scarred, and remeber this night. He put the note and the hair in the envelope and began his jurney to send the note* ~I hope Mr Smith enjoys this.~
*Draco also melded Daimon's entity into the part of his mind with speech, so now when he spoke it came out with the demon's voice masking his own. A perfect set up. -After the delivery of the letter-
A servant rushes into the small smoking lounge where August sits, enjoying a pipe and read of today’s paper as he waits for word of his mother’s absence. It comes in the form of a letter, handed off to him by a white gloved servant. He takes it, acting surprised but knowing full well what is inside. With a dagger like letter opener, he slices it clean and upon opening it, a locket of fine hair falls from it to his lap. He flips the letter open, scans it briefly, and then slides it close.
“Call the accountant and family lawyer, my mother has been kidnapped. Oh and find the two assistants and bring them to Kane.”
-Back with Mrs. Krasnow-
She awakes with a terrible headache, either from the liquor or chloroform, she couldn’t tell, much like how she couldn’t tell where she was right now. It felt cold and the sound of running water in the distance was apparent, it also smelled moldy and dusty, with a slight hint of rust and old wood. It definitely was not anywhere in the noble quarters. She struggles against her restraints in vane and tried to scream but the gag caused her voice to only be soft muffles. This was all very humiliating for her.

*Draco had decided to get some sleep. He would need the rest in case things got hot. Not too mention could Mr. Smith really get all that gil in only a short amount f time? Lets hope not. Draco enjoyed his sleep. He was dreaming*
-In Draco's dream he was a full fledged demon, flying around and enjoying himself. He was finding the largest prey, going on the hardest hunts. Enjoying the sky. What also perfect about this dream was he and Daimon were melded, but in perfect harmony. This is what Draco had alwayslonged to aspire to. Then something caught his eye from way above. ~Another prey?~ -As Draco flew down he saw it was not another prey, btu the very first female he had ever seen. Oh how he long to see her again. He longed for her. Not because she was outraciously beautiful, but because she had been the one and only female he was attracted to. As he curled his wings and flew straight down, he noticed someone else with her. At first he tought it was a fellow traveler, but then he noticed they were not acting friendly. He had her bound and gagged, and he stabbed her right in the gut. Four seconds later Draco tore the man in half. Now being on the ground he could hear her muffled screams as she died. Her body went limp, and the life seemed to be gone from her body the screaming kept going, how is this possible?- {She has awakened} *As soon as Daimon's voice scraped against Draco's mind he was awake. He saw that she was silently sobbing as she leaned forward, pulling her restraints taut. Draco spoke with Daimon* "{I'm sorry for the incovience, but I will try and make this situation as painless as possible. Now I will take off your gag if you begin yelling I will cut off your tongue. Nod if you understand." *Draco was more familar with this type os situation, torture, and intrigation. Mrs. Krasnow was not going to be the best hostage, that much was clear. She squirmed against her restraints, trying in vain to free herself and only when Draco spoke did she still herself, if even only temporary. She nodded in agreement after Draco spoke, she might be a socialite but she wasn't completely stupid. She had money, this guy probably wanted money and he wasn't going to get any money if she was dead however, who knows how unstable he was.
Once the ball gag was removed, she took a deep breath and tried charging from her restraints at Draco. "What do you want!" She spewed out with venomous words. "You know who I am? The city guard will be looking for me! I'm a very important person in Treno. What? You want money? That's it? Fine I'll give you money if it'll make you leave - me- alone!" She exclaimed. She was not happy, but how could she be.
-At the drop-off point-
August sent Kane with a briefcase of money as described in the letter sent to his estate, however only a part of the money is brought. He had only then contacted the authorities to let them know of the situation and that his estate would be handling it and for them to remain on alert should something happen. This was highly unorthodox but every letter of the word, however in Treno, the authorities knew and understood how politics operated in the world of the wealthy. They had to keep their affairs quiet, afraid that the public would hear of it and generate outcry or worse yet, hurt their stocks. Something as simple as an illness in the family could cost them several figures of gil. Inside the briefcase there rests a note, describing to the kidnapper the conditions for Mrs. Krasnow's return. It describes that another note will be sent to the same address as the first, demanding that the rest of the money will be brought at the same time they are to do an exchange for Mrs. Krasnow. The exchange will take place in the location of the warehouse. It was sutible place for Draco to make a quick escape as well. Overall, it made sense, however the parameters of this operation were changing without warning.

* After he released the gag she yelled at him, something he had not expected. She was surprisingly rational for this kind of situation. She had no idea what he was doing. She did however hit pretty close to the nail, he was ruining her life for some money. Draco was feeling something he hadn't ever felt before, remorse. Ever since he was able to be apart of society he has been having strange feelings, but this was a new experience for him. Usually he ended lives, even when he tortured people they would die when he was done. Usually this was never a problem for him, but this was the first time someone had asked him to keep the person alive, and that just didn't fit with Draco. It just seemed weird that he would impact this person for the rest of his life, when he was so used to the fact that once he was done with them they would be dead. He glanced at his watch, it was time for the pickup* ~Now it's time for something to slip through the cracks~ *Draco got up, and walked over to the lady. He grabbed her head pushing it back, and held it there while swiftly putting the gag back in* "{I'm sorry I couldn't get you any water, or food. I'll be back in a few minutes, and then you can eat. I'm sorry I let the time get the best of me. I also want you to know. I hope you live through this."*Draco picked up his cloak and threw it on. As he was leaving, her thoughts still pounding his brain so much Daimon couldn't even get a thought in. He turned real quick and answered her* "To answer your question, no I'm not in this for the money. I was hired for this job. You may want to know someone has blacklisted you." *Right as Draco left he called back*" I really hope you live through this."*Draco was already out and in full sprint* DROP OFF AREA
{What are we doing here? Why don't we just grab it? We can easily just kill any guards, or even run for that matter} ~One I'm not fighting my way out of another city, that was horrible last time, never again. And also what about that rogue, that "we had no chance of losing" against? Now quiet~
*Draco had circled the drop off point twice, looking for anyone. No one was there, that he could see. Draco was very tempted to go into beast form for the demon vision, but Daimon would end this in blood, of that Draco was sure* ~Ok I'm gonna go for it~ {About damn time we~Wait I see movement~ *Draco had surprised himself he had never been able to cut Daimon off like that, but right now he was more concerned about a figure who had been hiding across from him, making a dash for the briefcase* {A thief} ~Or a ticket to safety~
*The man grabbed the briefcase, and quickly stole a peek. A small squeal of joy came form his lips as he saw the contents of his treasure. The man quickly sprinted away. Draco followed the man following the rooftops. He watched the man scurry about, dodging certain places, sometimes making a huge circle around some. Did the man know he would run into certain people? Draco followed the man for about five minutes. Draco knew by now that very few guards/ spies could be following him now. He extended his predator blades, and jumped laterally, and landed on a building in the path of the man as he made a turn. Draco acted on instinct, he sprung on the man. His right hand covered the man's face, as his left hand sunk into the man's throat, all before hitting the ground on top of the man. The man was still alive, but choking on his own blood. He couldn't make a sound, well except the gurgles, and spurts of the blood filling his esophagus. Draco stabbed the man in the torso, and twisted the blades, speeding up the inevitable end result. He grabbed the man, and brought him up to the roof tops, and hastily hid the body on a roof top that was hard to maneuver on. It would be awhile before anyone found him.*
*Draco returned to his temporary hideout. He read the letter, adn saw that not all the money was there* ~Great this is even worse than picking up the money~ *Draco put this matter to the side as there was his objective to take care of, not to mention he had given her his word he would feed her, and give her drink. He walked over to her* "{I'm Taking off your gag again, please try to not hurt yourself}." *Once she calmed herself he took off her gag, and blindfold. He still had his masks on, so she couldn't see what he looked like. He brought her a pitcher of water. Then went over to his supplies, picked up some cheese and bread, along with some meat on a stick, which had been cooked over a fire* "Please enjoy yourself. None of it is poisoned, if you want I will try it."

She spits out, gagging, after the gag and blindfold are removed, trying to get that icky dry feeling out of her mouth. She looks to be even more disgruntled than before and less than enthused by the sight of the food. It almost looks as if she’s about to gag at the sight of it. “I’m not eating that… that disgusting stick!” She protests, her rich sensibilities failing her here, throwing the will to survive out the window. She grumbles and slouches, tapping her foot anxious and nervously. “So you doing this all by yourself or is there someone else pulling the strings?” She asks, “I’ll pay you double what they are, if you know who I am, than you’ll know I’m quite capable of it.” He looks around, checking the entirety of the building that she can see from her little spot. “I haven’t seen your face yet, I’ll cut you a check or whatever you want and we can both get back to our lives.” She looks to him with pleading eyes; her rabbit ears folded back, their fur fazed. “They’re going to kill you, you know. If not the guards and law, then my son when he finds out what you have done. You’ve kidnapped a noble in the City of Nobles. Your kind doesn’t walk out of this.”

*Draco was close to her. She could see the red of his irises, and the black behind them. He was talking lightly, but with dignity so as not to talk down to her. He wanted her to calm down, and stop being so frantic*
"Now if you will not eat I suggest you drink something. With all the alcohol you had, plus not drinking I'm pretty sure you're dehydrated. Now Please drink."
*Draco picks up the pitcher from earlier, and hands it to her. He slowly stands back up, and walks over to his table of supplies. He began cleaning his blades. As he finishes, he de-extends them. This may be the last time we can talk, so last things. Watch your back, because someone did hire me for this job, and I'm not sure their intentions for you."

Mrs. Krasnow growls, she didn’t trust him of course but there was semblance of sincerity in the man’s red eyes. Though how much weight can be put into the word of a kidnapper and murderer? She obliges his offer for water, drinking it up greedily, she didn’t realize how dehydrated she actually was. She felt better after the water, less irritable and secure in her position. This type of thing was not too far-fetched for people of wealth. There is always someone out to make a quick buck at the expensive of them, kidnapping was always useful because the money could be written off, meaning that the kidnapper gets what they want and the noble only has a minor inconvenience to deal with – she was schooled in how to act in these situations. Remain calm, and wait it out and if you can, escape, long as it won’t cost you your life. So thus, she will wait for the man to get what he wanted – and once that happens, she can get herself a very much desired martini.
-At the Estate-
August receives the final letter, just as planned. He hands it off to his lawyers and alerts the guards of the situation. He gather’s his things for the exchange, confiding only with Kane the extent of what’s going on. His dutiful servant would never betray him, not to the authorities or even to the gods themselves. If everything works as he had planned, the insurance will pay for all this and he’ll find himself secure in his estate, his wealth will be entirely his and he’ll even have made himself a little extra. The poor Krasnows, first Krasnow senior dies of ill health and age and now Mrs. Krasnow succumbed to an unfortunate situation. It was all coming together perfectly.
“Kane, bring the Eastern Star, just in case.” August mentions as he dons his black gloves, tightly pulling them onto his hands. He then walks over to a case on the wall in his private quarters, where he’s dressing, and retrieves something from the box.
Acquired: Mysterious Object
He turns back to Kane, throwing on his coat and taking the briefcase with the rest of the money from his bed. “Let us go out, tonight. Shall we?” He throws the object into the case as they leave the room to head for the city.
-Short time later-
August arrives at the destination described in the letter, the warehouse for the drop. Kane is nowhere to be seen; it was implied he should come alone and he apparently did just that, least for now. ”Hmmm, interesting choice… she must be wrenching at being kept in such a gritty place.” With that thought, he enters into the dark warehouse, wary of course. Anything could happen with this ’Draco’, and August wasn’t in the business of falling prey. “Hello! I have the rest of it, where is she!? I wish to see her.” He calls, his voice echoing out. Now for him to just wait for the reply.

August acknowledged Draco’s request, tossing the briefcase as he commanded. “Yes, alright, I’ve done as you’ve asked. Release her now, please.”
Mrs. Krasnow’s ears flicker up with excitement, she squirms and muffles out some inaudible words upon hearing August’s voice. It was clear they knew each other, and new each other well. “Don’t fret, mother. It’s almost over.” He reassures her as he waits for Draco’s next command. “It’s all there, the rest of the money. Now, release her please. Don’t make me ask again.” That demonic voice speaks again, telling how he is to acquire her. As Draco speaks with the demonic voice, August’s ears are twitching and turning slightly, like how animals would. He knew where the voice was coming from by the twitch of his long, jackalish ears, though he made no other obvious indication that he knew where the voice emanated from.
As the ropes dropped, Mrs. Krasnow stumbled forward as she caught her feet. “Mother!” August walks a quick straight line towards his mother and catches her in his arms, throwing off the gag from her mouth quickly. “August!” She calls, her eyes filled with sincere joy at being reunited with her only son, then as suddenly as her joy came, it left, the void being filled by anguish, confusion and pain. She gasps, choking for air. “W…wh-why?” She stutters out, her lips trickling with blood. August leans in, as if he was to kiss her on her cheek with a crocodile grin on his face. ”Because…” He lets her fall from his grasp, a knife protruding from her side, a lethal blow to a vital organ. She slumps to the ground with an expression of shock on her dying eyes. Such a wound will be fatal. “GUARDS! GUARDS!” August yells at the top of his lungs, as he spins around, his left arm extended out towards where Draco’s voice had been coming from, hidden in the shadows. “HE’S KILLED MRS. KRASNOW!” He narrows his eyes, a devilish smirk on his face. “Get him.” A blast erupts from under August’s sleeve, four tiny projectiles fly out to strike Draco in a surprising act.
The briefcase with the gil in it explodes with a loud flash and bang, a stunning charge set inside it to throw off Draco and hopefully stun him – August, waiting for it, adverts his eyes at the right second. From above the warehouse, a stocky figure drops down dressed in a suit. It’s Kane, August’s faithful servant and in his hands is the Eastern Star rifle which he quickly passes off to August. In that moment, a number of guards descend upon the warehouse like ants, catwalks, side doors, everywhere there is a door or access to the outside world is suddenly alive with the activity of the city’s guard in full armor and well armed. “Get him!” August commands, waving the guard inside and pointing to where he believes Draco to be. “He’s killed a noble, the despicable cur!”

The next two caught him in the shoulder, and Draco's more durable demon skin worked against him, as one projectile went through his shoulder, but the other hit him, and lodged itself in his hardened skin. That would have to be removed soon. The last bullet was just a graze of his arm near the shoulder. All in all Draco's left shoulder was a bloody mess*
*Draco turned to one of his back up escape routes, when a blinding light, and deafening sound came from behind him*
A flash bang?
*From what Draco could tell it had came from close to his back pack. The briefcase. Draco had to leave his pack, which was fine cause that was just his emergency gear. His real pack along with the money he had received was safely stashed in a location in another part of the city.*
*He tried running one way then another, but guards were everywhere. Draco also noticed a finely dressed man jumping down from somewhere and handing August a rifle, he also noticed August wasn't the only one with a rifle.*
This isn't going to end well
*Draco felt alone. Daimon's mind was combined with his own he didn't have anyone to help him plan an escape. Suddenly an idea popped in his head, on how to get out of here. Maybe Daimon still could help him get out of here.*
*Draco stopped his descent and started going up, but as soon as he grabbed a ledge with his left arm fire went up it. He fell back down onto the cat walk he had just jumped from, not only losing valuable time, but landing dangerously close to some guards. Draco hated to do this, because if he lost his focus he would die. As he was still laying on the ground he bit into his bleeding shoulder. The blood seem to absorb into him. Draco lost all feeling of fatigue, and he felt no pain, in fact he felt nothing, but there was something new here. His eye sight was weird, it didn't seem human. It saw different colors then what the room had just been, it had this weird ability to zoom in on things, more often than not one of the guards coming towards him. It then dawned on Draco, he had never used his blood rage while in his beast form. Right now, Draco was probably more demon than anything else. All these thoughts took him about 5 seconds, which he soon reacted by clearing the catwalk he had tried climbing earlier. In a few more leaps Draco was on the highest cat walk and jumping in the rafters. He soon had reached the ceiling, and had no where else to go, except that he had planned this. As soon as he could reach the ceiling he punched through it, and he was breathing the late night air. One last thought occurred to him as he left the warehouse, he was thinking. Usually he would have to be horribly mutilated and close to dieing to, and go into blood fury to be able to think rationally.* --------------------------------------------- WC: 660 Exp: 66 Total:3445wc/ 344.5

A strong burst of energy and heat streaks dangerously close by Draco as he flees through the rafters; from below August fires off shots from his rifle, though it would seem that he isn’t attempting to actually hit Draco by how close yet how far the shots are coming. The shots are too precise and with August being that calculating, the idea of him firing wildly seems implausible. A few more shots are fired, glass and disintegrating molten metal rain down onto the warehouse floor as the energy shots streak after Draco and upon him exploding through the roof, trailed closely by another blast from the Eastern Star. Once Draco was gone, August lowers his rifle as he watches the hole Draco burst through. “Hmph…” All around him now are the guards, some checking on the dead Mrs. Krasnow who bleed out with a wound to the side, a life spell would be futile at this point. The knife penetrated her liver, if caught within the first minute she could have been saved, but now her body is too riddled with toxins to save. “What are you doing?” August exclaims, flailing his hands. “Go after him!” He commands as he walks over to his mother’s body, kneeling down beside her to check her vitals. August portrays sadness, a little crack of a delighted grin forms at the sides of his mouth as he runs his hands over his mother’s eyes, shutting them. Meanwhile the guards scatter after Draco, they flood into the city in search of this ‘murderer’ who dared to kill a noble.
“Kane,” August says, looking back to his trusted servant. “Arrange for my mother’s burial and by the morning, I feel it is time for us to leave the city for places unknown.” He stands, wiping his hands. “This city holds nothing but sadness for the Krasnows, a vacation is in due order till such time I see fit to return. Come lets leave this sorry place for the estate.”

*Draco was on the roof of the warehouse. He landed with a dull thud. He knew he didn't have much time, but he still stopped, and a quick ceremony that he had learned along time ago. He quickly muttered his prayer* "Nacd eh lremtnah." * Draco wasted precious time for the innocent. He had done this a few times before. Someone who wasn't supposed to die did, life went on, and so did Draco. He raced from roof top to roof top. Draco's senses were going crazy, with his blood rage active while he was in his demon form. HE could hear the bullets as they were fired they tore past him, all clean misses as he would suddenly change direction*
Draco thought he was home free until he saw a group of guards sitting in front of his escape route into the underground passes of the city. There were fifteen guards total, and Draco had to think whether he should move to another opening, and hope it wasn't guarded, or attack this one and hope he had actually lost the guards behind him*
It has been along time since human blood had hit this forms tongue, even if it was tainted. We can destroy these simpletons very easily.
How?
Just let our instincts take over. This body was meant to do a job. Let it do it.
*Draco noticed even with their minds melded they still could have separate thoughts. He also decided on killing these guards, extremely confident now that Daimon had spoken of what this body could do, he was however concerned that Daimon had said what this body was made for. Draco pushed this thought out of his mind, as he extended his blade. Draco jumped from his roof top, and the first two guards were dead before any one of the guards had known another being was with them. Draco pushed off their bodies as soon as he had hit them. He flew past all the guards to the left destroying the weapons the guards had been holding, and cutting a few of them along the way. Three guards still had rifles, the other three just had swords and a halberd. The two guards, who's weapons Draco had destroyed, closest to the dead guards quickly recovered them, unfortunately they were only two more swords. Draco grabbed the closest man to him, he tried to swing a punch. Draco just grab the man's arm twisted and broke the man's wrist, then turned the man's head over and Draco bit into the man's neck. The man dropped to the ground, with only a small scream of pain before he died. With his rage refueled, Draco started sauntering to his next victims. Draco licked his lips, and flexed his claws. When Draco looked up, the next thing any of them knew was two more guards were dead. A hand impaled through each of their chests, holding their hearts. Draco threw both bodies at the other ten soldiers still standing. The two guards left without weapons ran behind the others as they started circling Draco.Draco obliged and walked backwards till he hit a wall. They made a semi-circle around him. Draco let out a deep rumbling laugh. He could smell the fear radiating off of the guards. Finally one guard gathered his courage and took a swing at Draco with a halberd. Draco thought it was a shame to kill someone as brave as he, but it was to late for that. He kicked the halberd down jumped, and swung his other clawed foot at the guards neck. The guard was forced to the ground, having his neck broke as he hit the ground. Blood spurted out of the wound. The two guards who had no weapons were behind the group now decided to flee, screaming*
color=Maroon] "Can't have that can we?" [/color]
*Draco's demonic voice sent a shudder down all the guards spine. Draco leaped from the encirclement and landed feet first onto the two fleeing guards. Seven guards left.*
* Draco stood and smiled, his back turned to the remaining guards. In a blink of an eye he slammed two more guards into the wall that Draco had just had his back to. Draco grabbed the two swords the were holding and threw them into two more guards.*
*Three guards remained. He jumped and bit at the center guard, chewing his torso, tearing through organs and tissues. The other guards took advantage of this moment. This surprised Draco, as these guards had just witnessed their fellow warriors die, and still had the guts to act in an instant. Two halberds entered into each of Draco's sides, and there they stayed. With his tougher skin Draco had each weapon lodged there. He grabbed the two distracted guards by the neck. He enjoyed yet another delicious meal of human blood, their dying screams did not echo for long.*
*Zero guards remained. Draco entered the underground passage, found his stuff with the first of the ransom money in it, and began leaving the city* --------------------------------------------------------------- WC:870 EXP:87 Total:4315wc/431.5

Later that hour, August and Kane arrived back at the estate accompanied by two city guards, as per the constable’s orders. Once there, another guard runs up to them, explaining that the murderer has fled into the Gargan Roo and due to the conditions of the tunnel, the prospect of running into Ralvurahva or Ralvuimago, as well as the causalities inflicted by the fleeing assassin, that they were not pursuing further. August nodded, though protested, and was assured that Alexandria was being informed of the situation and assured they will try to intercept. The death of a blue-blood would not go unpunished, not in this society, not ever. With this reassurance, August sends the three guards away, claiming he wished to mourn alone. Through the estate lawn, up the stairs and past the double doors goes August, accompanied by Kane.
“Kane,” August stops at the grand staircase, turning to face is favorite assistant. “I wish to depart the city in the early morning, see to it that the Hijrah and her crew are informed, and bring my equipment from the laboratory to her. I’d hate to leave anything behind – I don’t plan to return here anytime soon.” Kane nods, knowing full well what to do. He never needed more clarification in an order, it was as if he could read August’s mind exactly. A useful skill for a personal assistant, and on the occasion, a body guard. Without a word, Kane left the grand staircase while August departed for his personal chambers on the second floor to wait and prepare for the morning.

They say, "Evil prevails when good men fail to act." What they ought to say is, "Evil prevails."
At the other end of the Gargant Roo ( Alexandria Castle)
" Good mining area apparantly....". A male voice echoed throughout the caves. There switched into a mild female voice agreeing. " Yes.....however the caves are unstable...the constant water frlow from above will slowly errode away the foundations....and eventually perhaps....in another ten years...this place will be nothing more than rubble....". The male voice let out mild laughter. " Ten years?...who cares....might be dead in another ten years....". There was some small laughter now from the female who would come into sight. A cowl over her head. A staff in her hand.
" Ah....but then you never have taken the long view have you?.....ah....but humans are like that....so short lived....you run about....creating chaos here and there....your plans....work well in the short....but in the long it is others who suffer the mistakes of your species....".
There was a mild grunt as the large swordsman moved into view. An eye patch covering one eye. A typical eastern swordsmans garb. His sword strapped to his back.
"...Heh.... who cares.....if it wasn't for us you elves would still be running about naked in the forests......".
Mild laughter shared. But a sense of cold disdain between the two. The woman stopped and raised her hand. " There are others in these caverns...strange...I thought this pathway between cities was all but abandoned......". The guy shook his head. " So are we gonna catch a gargant or what?...". The woman shook her head. " No...we'll wait for now....I'm sure the Queen won't mind us sticking around a tad longer...".
*Draco stopped. He had this place memorized, but he stumbled along and got lost. His blood rage made every detail pop out, his demon form making everything sharper his mind couldn't take. The human blood he had consumed burned a hole in his stomach. The power it had brought him, the pleasure it had brought him. He began losing higher thought, started going on instinct, now just the first thought that crossed his mind. He stumbled more and more, his body was on fire, at the same time it felt as though someone had been stretching him out in all directions. Draco was huffing and puffing. He couldn't even think a question to ask Daimon, he was so disorientated. If Daimon was thinking anything, Draco couldn't make it out. SO Draco just kept zigzagging through the tunnels.*
*Draco collapsed after about another half hour of walking. Not out of exhaustion, or defeat though he did know he had probably been walking in a giant circle. He fell to the ground in a giant spasm. He felt like his skull was being compressed, and his mouth was being pulled on. He felt all his limbs being pulled and stretched. He also felt like something was trying to push it's way out of his back. All of his body felt like it was on fire except his left hand. It felt cold , deathly cold, but it wouldn't numb. It was the strangest feeling in the world, and the most agonizing.*
*He could hear his limbs growing. Along with his fangs and claws. He felt his feet changing shape. Finally that thing pushing on his back busted out, only at the bottom, there was still something there pushing towards the top. The thing that had sprung forth sounded like a worm or snake of some sort, but he could control it. Could it be a tail? Draco could sense the transformation was almost complete by the fact that all his feelings intensified. This is when he also noticed that he had been regaining thought. His brain felt bigger, like there was more space there for him to use. When this finally occurred to him the pushing in his back stopped. Then something huge exploded from his back*
Not yet. You are not ready to accept me.
*Draco felt the pain as he back ripped open with a sickening sound. Then something happened. Everything started reversing like his body had exploded and now was sucking everything back in. Draco noted two things as he began to black out from the pain. Daimon had spoken, and calmly which meant he wasn't going to die. The other was that Daimon referred to himself in a singular tone. Darkness overcame Draco* --------------------------------------------- WC: 465 Exp:46.5 Total:4780wc/478
