Status Effects
Journeys end uses a selection of Final Fantasy's various status effects, below is a list of the status effects we use on the site along with their effects in battle. All status effects last for 3 rounds of combat, regardless of whether it is a positive effect nor a negative effect unless stated.
Negative Effects
Poison:- Target loses 10% of their max HP per round.
Virus:- Target loses any XP they might earn at the end of the battle unless cured before then.
Blind:- Attacks may miss target.
Berserk:- Target constantly attacks, the damage increased by 300 but the target is random.
Confusion:- Target actions may target a random person instead of intended target.
Silence:- Target is unable to cast anything that uses MP
Doom:- Target is KO'ed if battle doesn't end within 10 rounds.
Stone:- Target is turned to stone and rendered unable to post until cured or battle ends.
Slow:- Target can only take one action in a round.
Stop:- Target is unable to act until it wears off or hasted.
Vit-0:- Target takes 200 more damage from attacks.
Burn:- Target takes 100 fire damage per round.
Addle:- Target cannot use CA's
Positive Effects
Haste:- Target can take an extra action per round.
Protect:- Target takes 10% damage less from physical attacks.
Reflect:- Returns magic effect to random foe
Shell:- Target takes 10% damage less from magical attacks.
Wall:- Target takes half damage.
Regen:- Target regains 10% of their max HP per round.
Fount:- Target regains 10% of their max MP per round.
Bar:- Provides resistance to element type.
Brave:- Target deals 200 more physical damage.
Faith:- Target deals 200 more magic damage.
Clear:- Evades Physical attacks, Magical attacks cannot be evaded.
