The next day after the SeeD Ball, Karrl has packed up a few things and readied himself for his long term mission in Midgar, borrowing one of the SeeD ships to make his journey from the Garden to Midgar. However, as per the directions of Headmaster Cid, he was going to make one quick stop before meeting the others there.
He had arrived in Dollet a short while ago, walking stride for stride alongside his companion, and, in his opinion, best friend, the dire wolf, Luna. He had been pointed toward Dollet because of the fact there was a GF there by the name of Siren, who, according to the Headmaster, would suit him. He had to admit, from what he had heard, it was true, a beautiful woman who lured people to their deaths, it seemed fitting.
From what he had gathered there were sights of a beautiful woman sitting upon the long unused communications tower. So, with this information he made he was through the city and up the hill where he had found out where the communications tower was held. He wanted to make this a quick thing, since, he did not really want to keep the others waiting, especially Erinna.
Quickly making his way through the area he was standing upon a cliff he looked over and upwards, staring at the target location. He nodded to himself before looking down at Luna and gave her a smile before looking up at the communications tower once more. As he did so he closed his eyes and clung to a strange, primal looking pendent he had around his neck, and as he did he muttered, “Canis, guide my steps.”
Perhaps not entirely suprising that Erinna had travelled to Dollet, she was not dressed in the SeeD uniform and had opted for something a little more casual. Black knee high boots over her black leggings with a long wool jumper which finished halfway down her upper leg. Her long blonde hair was tied into a high ponytail and her right hand rested against the gun attached to her upper leg. Erinna glanced to you before walking past to get a better look at the Communication's tower.
"If we have to meet up later in Midgar anyway I may as well tag along to see this Siren and see if it's a decent summon or not..."

When he heard Erinna voice he looked up and let go of his pendant, stopping his prayer. He looked over at her and smiled, “Maybe so, but, it don’t hurt to ask for a little assistance.” He then looked at Luna once more. The two of them stood there in silence. When Erinna spoke once again he looked up at her and smiled, “Fair enough.” He said this before nodding and heading down the slope so they could get to the communications tower.
As Karrl and Luna made their way down they moved in silence, not uttering a word, and the only thing that could be really heard with their breathing. They were mentally preparing themselves for the fight. Over the time since he had become a member of SeeD he had seen and faced things which made him realise he was not that powerful, and, he knew, if it was the case, he would need to be fully prepared for the fight ahead.
It did not take them long before they reached the entrance of the communications tower. He looked up and took a deep breath in through his nose, smelling the surrounding area, as expected, the scents coming were not just his Luna’s and Erinna’s, they had come to the right place. He nodded once more before walking into the communications tower. He was looking forward to the fight, he may know he was not the most powerful thing out there, but, the thrill of the fight, and the challenge, he loved it.
Looking around he instantly saw the lift going up to the top of the tower and so, without a word he walked up and, along with Luna, waited for Erinna to get on so they could go up. His hands twitched slightly as they moved over the blades of his Shaung Dao. Looking up his eyes turned red, signalling he was ready for a fight. Over the time he had learnt to control the rage within better, and, because of that, his eyes turning red did not signal him losing control, but, just that he was ready for a fight. However, beware his eyes turning silver.

Since Erinna had become and Instructor she had been fairly cold to you but that could easily be attributed to what happened in Alexandria. She eventually reached the elevator and pressed the button for it to move up but nothing happened.
"Great....as usual nothing ever goes to plan. There has to be a control panel or something around here."
With a sigh Erinna got out of the elevator and looked around the small room, she noticed the panel near the back of the room and headed towards it. She looked at a few of the screens before pressing several buttons.
"So basically all of the power is being diverted to the lights....so in theory there should be a switch somewhere to reverse the power back to how it should be. Why would anyone want to use this much power for the lights?"
Suddenly her head turned towards the door as would Luna's. Muffled voices could be heard outside of the tower. Erinna quickly shot a look to you and mouthed the word hide, she slid behind the elevator and crouched down with her hand on the dagger attached to her upper leg.

When the lift didn’t seem to work he looked at Luna, a look of annoyance on his face, before he signalled for her to go stand guard next to the door. When she left Karrl moved out as well, looking around, his hands still on his blades. He did not know what was going on, but, something didn’t smell right.
As Erinna spoke as she tried to work out the controls his ears twitched as he heard something. Around about the same time it seemed that Luna and Erinna had heard the same thing as he did, muffled voices. He did not like this, the smell he was getting was all wrong, and, he knew he had to hide even before Erinna had mouthed it.
Within a split second Karrl signalled for Luna to hide behind the lift. He looked around, trying to figure out where to hide, however, it did not take him long to figure out where to do so. He moved as quickly and quietly as he could before he launched himself upwards, lightly using the lift to send him up further.
Just as it looked like he was about to fall again he grabbed hold of some scaffolding type metalwork before slipping in behind it. Where he was placed was to the right of the lift and just about the second story of the building, since, it seemed that the tower actually did not have any floor, just the tower and the roof itself.
So, as he hid in there he waited for who was coming in, his free hand resting on one of his blades. He was not sure who it was going to be, he did not hear or smell anyone following them, but, even his keen senses could be fooled, but, that just made him uneasy since it was hard to do.

The way they picked up certain items and looked them over suggested they were salvagers of some sort or guys looking to make some quick gil selling off scrap metal. Erinna stood up and moved around from the back of the lift. The young men instantly saw her and raised their pistols. Erinna stood bold with her arms held behind her back as she addressed them.
"Stand aside by order of Balamb Garden."
All three of the men burst into laughter, the thought that a young girl could tell them what to do was highly amusing. Erinna's expression didn't change as she looked at them, she blinked every so often but didn't show any fear at her life being threatened. One of the men took a step forward and spat at her feet, Erinna glanced down and then back to the men.
"I will ask you once more, stand aside and leave this tower it is under the command of Balamb Garden for today."

Karrl watched at what was happening. He did not like it, especially the part as the three guys holding pistols up at Erinna. His instinctual mind told him to help out, but, his tactical mind told him, if things came to a fight he could hold up where he was and get the jump on them. The two minds battled out as he watched he, catching the sight of Luna, who, Karrl believed, would not move in unless Karrl did.
However, when one of them step forward and spat at Erinna’s feet his instinctual mind won out and he slipped out of the scaffolding and landed down next to the lift in a position so he landed into a crouch. He stayed in that position for a moment or two before standing up straight. He had a plan, which, if worked, could stop them from ending up in a fight, since, he knew, he would need every ounce of strength he had to fight what they were really there to fight.
He knew that Erinna could handle herself, and was as strong, if not stronger, than Karrl himself, but, Karrl could pull of the plan a little easier due to his size and the fact he was with Luna. His plan was to, hopefully, intimidate them enough that they would back down and, in the end, avoid a fight altogether. As he walked forward he spoke, “I suggest guy you listen to the lady, me and my friend here…” Luna stepped out from behind the lift with a low menacing growl, “Would not want to mess up those pretty faces of yours.”

The apparent leader of the trio wiped his arm across his mouth, he could clearly see Luna and from the look on his face he could tell this was a losing battle. He snarled at you both before grunting to his friends. All three left the tower slamming the metal door shut behind them. Erinna relaxed her shoulders and let out a deep sigh, she looked around at the tower before looking back to you.
"I could have handled that fine, I didn't need you to step in for me!"
She spun around quckly on her heels to head back to the control panel, she pressed a few more buttons before flicking a switch. The lights in the tower dimmed some and the elevator spung to life.

Karrl stood there and watched the three of them, if there was any sign of them about to attack he would deal with them, hell, with Luna and Erinna they had not hope in hell in winning the fight. It seemed that their so called leader knew that as well, and with that the three looters left. Karrl could not help but smirk a bit at that, the guys were smarter than they looked, he’d rather not waste time on them, but, he would, if he had to.
However, Erinna did not seem to pleased by what Karrl had done, stepped up for her and all. He could understand why, but, he had his reasons. He cracked his neck with a swift side to side motion after she had spoke before he replied himself, “I know that Erinna, but, we don’t have time wasting our time on some weak group, we need to get up there and obtain Siren since, after all, we need to get to Midgar for the mission.”
With that he followed her to lift who was quickly followed by Luna. After Erinna had pushed the buttons to get the lift ready he stepped on and straight to the back, with Luna right at his side. He turned to face the front and waited for Erinna to get on. He was not sure what was about to happen, but, he hoped that this would not be a repeat of his fight with Lich. He was stronger that before, when he had thought Lich, but, he was not sure, even then, if he was strong enough to fight Lich. Lucky for him, he was not.
