Tigg was on a Bar Crawl. He was attempting to gather as much ale together as he could for one of his experiments. By distilling the bitter beverage into pure alcohol, he hoped to make a better fuel, but just getting the fluid was proving difficult. It appeared that no single inn would sell so much to one person in one go, and none would give him the name of a brewer. Something about a party of moogles going on a drunken rampage a decade or so ago. Dragging his barrel cart up to his next stop, Tigg forced his way in through the door.
The argument with the barkeep went much as expected, following a pattern much the same as those he had visited before, though the lady seemed to be less concerned than the others. Though she was reluctant, Tigg eventually managed to win himself a small barrel of some weaker ale. While he waited for the cask to be retrieved, the moogle was clipped with the notion to check the local noticeboard.
Scanning the paper littered wall, Tigg spotted an advertisement that struck a chord with his very nature. The person to whom the advert belonged was giving transport vehicles to those prepared to gather the parts. This was more than a fair trade in the mind of the Engineer.
Without a second thought, Tigg rocketed out through the door, abandoning his days work in search of something better.
He could always come back for the cart. Probably...

Either way this was your ticket to getting a sweet ride which would make carrying around all your heavy...things much easier and you could visit most places on Gaia at your leisure. As you turned a corner you would almost be knocked off your furry feet as two men thundered down the rubble street. Both in their early twenties and with faces like thunder, the brunette turned to the blonde male as he kicked stone down the street.
"Tough ol' bastard....that's the last time I believe some notice board about getting a vehicle. I really wanted that car....Scruffy can kiss my ass I hope he drinks himseld to death at the Honey Bee."
Well if that just wasn't the luckiest time to catch the end part of someone else's conversation. So this Scruffy was at the Honey Bee Inn then....well there was no point hanging about. You had a vehicle to gather parts for!

Tigg slowed for a moment, running the information he had just caught through his head. It appeared that Scruffy wasn't especially co-operative when it came to proceeding with the quest. The engineer didn't take issue with this though, as he hadn't heard the full story. Returning to the pace he had previously set, Timbul continued on his way to the Inn. He knew where it was, as he had been there earlier in the day. There wasn't much more distance to cover.
------------------------------------
Calming himself and catching his breath from the sprint, Tigg waited a moment before entering the bar.
Walking through the door and up to the bar, the moogle signaled for the bartenders attention. The man wasn't too pleased to see him, that much was obvious, but he shown a degree of practiced politeness non-the-less. Tigg didn't know what Scruffy looked like, so it was obvious that he should ask, and hopefully be directed to the quests advertiser.

They strode onto the stage and began to seductively yet elegantly dance around the poles provided. During the dance a short middle aged man dressed in some of the tattiest clothing pulled up a stool and sat next to you. The bartender looked between you before shoving a whiskey tumbler the man's way.
"So I hear ya lookin' for me?"
He didn't even look to you, he just grabbed his drink and downed it in one. What followed was a mumble of coughing and profanities as the scruffy looking man hit his chest while coughing. The bartender rolled his eyes as he poured another glass.
"Everyone does these days, just cos I'm the man to get things done....what da ya want moogle?"

The music was as unpleasant as it had been earlier, the heavy bass rumbling like a storm. Tigg failed to understand the attraction that the racket posed to so many, nor the dancing of the girls on stage, but that didn't mean that he begrudged those who both understood and enjoyed the entertainment.
The mans brusque statement as he received his second drink made it clear that this was the nearest to an introduction as would be given. it seemed that this meeting would most likely be short and to the point. Before replying the moogle signaled the bartender that he wanted to order. Without even coming over to ask for Tiggs order, the man disappeared behind the counter, returning with a small beaker. Taking a sip, he grimaced. It was cream, as best as he could tell, warm and flavourless.
"I'm here because I found your card in another bar. I want to get my hands on a vehicle. An airship if it can be managed."

He pulled out a scrap bit of paper and wrote down underneath a name which looked like 'Cloud - Airship' 'Moogle - Airship.' So this guy was taking on at least two major jobs that could take...well it could take ages if he was going this on his own. Though on further thought he probably had a team of staff somewhere else working on jobs he took
"I can get anything ya want, all I need is tha materials to make it."
Scruffy took another drink gulping it down in one go, he looked at the bartender and he immediately filled the glass again. Scruffy cleared his throat as he glanced at the girls on stage before looking back to you.
"Gunna be a big job an airship moogle, gunna need steel and mythrill. The caves past the chocobo ranch should have sum of that in there and steel...well use ya head moogle. Need 500 pounds of steel and 300 of mythrill. Get it delivered to ma workshop."

Pushing his drink aside, Tigg turned to the bedraggled individual he was doing business with. "That seems simple enough, though i doubt the cave will be easy to negotiate. When i've got the materials together, I tell you now, I'll be wanting to help in the construction. It's my job and it'll be my machine." Without waiting for the man to reply to that statement, Tigg dropped some gil on the counter, enough to cover his drink, a few for Scruffy and a health tip for the barman, and left.
Before heading out, the engineer decided to head for the workshops. If he was to transport such loads as were required, he would need a heavy duty trolley or cart to shift it.
Acquiring a trolley proved easy enough. Tigg had managed to talk another engineer into lending him a motorised trolley, complete with heavy tread tires, provided that the moogle spent a couple of days assisting in the workshop. Directions to the ranch and nearby cave were even easier to gain.

The further you went into the cave you got the feeling you were watched or even followed but there was no one behind you that you could see.
As you approached a wider area in the cave that had not been used before you heard an ear shattering shriek that would grab your attention. In the darkness in front of you were two wolves with glowing red eyes but a shriek is not something you would expect from these beasts. From the look in their eyes they could even be possessed...great ghosts in the cave. Fantastic. The wolves didn't stop moving towards you and you had to do something about it...

Entering the cave, Tigg couldn't help but feel a little foolish. Of course the way would be lit, the chances of him being the first to venture here were nil. Dimming his lamp, the moogle began following the path set by the burning brands set in the walls. Despite the embarrassment he felt at seeing them, the torches were a good sign. If they were being maintained, it meant that there were still some materials worth retrieving.
Following the tunnel into the depths of the cave, Tigg couldn't help but have his ears raised. The feeling of being tracked through the cave was unpleasant, and though he couldn't spot anything, he hoped to pick out the sounds of whatever it was might make by mistake. Anything to prove that it was not just his mind playing tricks on him through the lonely route.
Reaching the shadowy expanse of an area that didn't appear to have been explored before, judging from the lack of torches lighting the way, Tigg felt a little apprehensive about continuing. Then he spotted the four glowing red specks that approached him. Forcing him self to betray his instincts and run, the engineer raised his lamp and opened the valve. In the dim glow, the beasts were revealed.
With the wolves failing to halt their advance, Tigg came to the conclusion that it would be best to go all out. He doubted that doing so would trouble the cave structure, and he was eager to complete this task. Slowly taking a backward step, the moogle placed a temporary enchantment on himself. He would need the speed to deal with two opponents at once. His next move was to blast the nearest of the two with a combo. He wanted to show his fangs before they could bring theirs to bear.

As the pack leader limped off the rest followed him past you towards the entrace of the cave. You could at least now focus on gathering the mythrill you needed for your airship. Your keen eyes would soon spot a bountiful amount of the precious metal which meant that it was time to get mining.
Before you could even raise your tool a hunchbacked elderley man hobbled out from the darkness towards you, he rested on a worn wooden walking stick as his eyes quickly looked over you. The snaggled toothed man cleared his throat and then spat to his right.

Tigg stood in shock as the wolves plodded past. The beasts must have been as surprised as he was at the meeting, neither wanting, nor expecting, a fight. "Well. That point seemed easy enough to prove," the moogle couldn't help but state as he continued into the cavern depths, torch re-lit.
Crossing to the bounteous vein of ore, Timbul pulled free his wrench, twisting one of the tines top turn it into a rudimentary pick. He was glad that he had gotten so carried away with its design, it proved so useful so frequently. The bark from the old man almost caused the engineer to leave the ground, so focused was he on starting the task. Turning sharply, Tigg glared at the elder. He didn't like being called a bear. "I'm a moogle. A moogle. Not a bear. See the pom?" Stopping a moment to check himself, he took a deep breath before continuing. "I wasn't aware this cave belonged to anyone. Sure, the entrance-way is lit up but there were wild things deeper in, as well as the dark."
