Slay Bell Slayers: Those without Valor [Level 1-4]
Post by Arbiter of Time on Dec 12, 2012 20:44:43 GMT
You all stand upon a strange arena, empty and somehow without end but yet still round, the floor is a cold blue stone with a strange pattern carved into it that continues for as far as you can see. Above you is the sky, or what you feel is the sky it is a large black emptiness with no light flowing from it, the light itself seemingly emerging from each of you. The Arena is empty besides you all, the numerous amount of you, each one of you must be slightly confused by this place and the sudden appearance of everyone else.
"Welcome Warriors of Green, welcome to the Void Beyond."
The voice comes from behind you, from behind each one of you, no matter where each of you where looking and facing the voice seemed to come from behind you as it continues to speak in a calm and slightly noble tone.
"You are here to test your collective mights against some of the fiends of fate in a desperate battle for valor and fortune. Do not worry about death, Death has no domain here, defeat only ends your time here and not your life. Once this battle is over most of you shall not recall this event nor this place so fight and show me the Valor you can gain."
With that the voice vanishes and in the midst of you all a pillar of fire rises from the ground into the sky firing a round object high into the sky which drops down in the midst of you revealling the object to be a large ball of fire, a Bomb, a dangerous monster from many places across Gaia.

Favael looked around the area, he seemed a little ticked off that all of the sudden he didn’t know where he was. ”Alright…where am I? he wondered, just as he heard the voice speak from behind him. He spun around, trying to see who was speaking but there was nothing other than more people that he didn’t know. From where he stood he also couldn’t see if Maester Seymour was here. ”…Lord Seymour?” he asked, looking around. He clenched his fist and then drew the saber that hung by his hip, ready for battle as the voice ended and a pillar of flame burst from the middle of the group. Apparently he didn't have time to worry about his teacher.
He pointed his weapon at it, having no qualms about striking first. “Alright creature of flame, you will die!” he yelled, darting straight at it. He stabbed twice with the saber in quick succession. It was not his forte, but he was still an okay swordsman. As he finished he took a step back, waiting for the bomb to retaliate. A fire burned in his eyes, he was not afraid of the flame creature.

Here? Where is here you might ask? Well, it's here. In this arena... thing. She felt confused... Because... One moment, she was there... and now... here? The arena was a sight to behold, however. Being somewhat entranced by it, she marveled in it's beauty. It was an endless sight... Like it goes on till the end of time. While dazzled by the sight, a booming voice shouted. It introduced her to the 'Void Beyond.' She turned around to see where the voice was coming from, but no matter where she looked, it was always behind her. She listened to what it had to say, and nodded as she understood the procedure.
"So... let's get this show on the road!"
She wielded her spellblade in her right hand, letting it stab the ground as she waited. It wasn't long, however, before a pillar of flame burst from the stone... Not harming anyone, thankfully. However... Something was off. Not all the fire dissipated... Some of it was still left, in for form of a creature. A Bomb.
She gripped her blade as she lifted it into her attack stance. She quickly, without saying a word, ran up to it and swung upwards, then down, striking it twice with heavy force. Of course, it wouldn't be enough for it to totally explode, but hopefully it was just enough where she could escape to safety and unleash a spell or two to finish it off.

“Wha? What is this place?” Zeak muttered aloud as he opened his eyes and found himself...somewhere. The ground was covered in some kind of large symbol, but Zeak couldn't see the entire thing. It was dark around him, so he guessed it was night, looking up to find the moon he realized that the sky was pitch black. He was starting to have a bad feeling about this place, it was too dark and quiet for his liking. A few moments later he realized that there was light emanating from him. Or from his jet black clothes. “Am I glowing now too? That's just great.” Focusing into the darkness around him he could make out a few other human like figures, but he couldn't tell if it was the darkness playing tricks on him or not.
Then he heard a voice from behind him, welcoming him and calling him a warrior of the green. He whirled around, moving one hand to Guildari, which as always was strapped to his back. But there was no one behind him, the voice kept speaking however, coming from behind him again, speaking some jibberish about testing fate, and fighing fiends. He then said something intresting, “...Do not worry about death, Death has no domain here, defeat only ends your time here and not your life.” That reminded Zeak, how had he gotten to this place, seemingly unruled by death.
Thinking back he remembered getting of the airship from Cocoon and finding a small inn to stay the night in, he had went to bed thinking of all the new adventures he would find and...woke up here. The voice behind him said to show the valor he could gain. Zeak smirked, he knew valor, he was part of OS after all. The voice stopped speaking and Zeak worried that he would be left alone for a moment, just a moment. As a large pillar of flame erupted from the ground near by. Covering his face with one arm Zeak took Guildari from his back with the other.
The pillar dissipated and Zeak saw nothing, the “sky” above him began to turn orange however, and looking up Zeak saw a large ball of flame land on the ground where the pillar once stood. “What the hell is that!” he yelled, this was completely new to him. It seemed to be a creature made completely of flames. 'If that's the case, I should try to play this safe.' He thought. If it was made of flames it must use magic to keep itself together, magic wasn't Zeak's strong point. He jumped forward and sliced horizontally though the creature once, then vertically, from bottom to top before jumping back to a safer position.
Cloud listened carefully; he really had no reason to object to being here other than that he wasn’t here a second ago. The voice spoke and he turned around, trying to find the source. The only thing that he saw was that others were here as well. Were they the opponents that the mysterious voice spoke of? Cloud was about to step forward and attack one of them when the pillar of flame erupted to spawn the bomb. The blonde swordsman took a step back, swinging his blade around and over his shoulder.
He watched as a few of the other figures moved to attack, somewhat impressed by the no hesitation. Though, Cloud wasn’t one who cared for the idea of dying so he stepped forward and ran into the fray as well. He approached the bomb and swung upward from the ground to hit it before using the momentum of the large sword to flip over and bring the sword upward again. After his second attack he stood while the blade slammed into the ground behind him.

This was just bloody great, he had just escaped from Shin-Ra, hopefully with nothing added for the aftertaste, and, just getting off the wall he found himself in this strange place. He did not like it, from the looks of things there seemed to be no way out, maybe the only way to come and go was through teleportation of some kind, god, where was his little brother when he needed him.
However, when a voice sounded, it was not so much there was a voice more in the way of what it said. Fighting, honour, valour, he did not like this, he was a thief, not some noble knight in quest to prove himself. He had little in the way of fighting skills, and, it seemed the only way out of the place was to either to defeat or be defeated, and, since Leon did not like to lose, he guess he had no choice.
Then the pillar of flames came but, at the same time he noticed all of the others, he guessed they were stuck in the same boat that he was. Sighing he drew his rusty iron dagger, and kept back a bit. He had it in his mind that, he would only fight if he had to, if the creatures came after him. However, he thought, he would play a supportive role in the fights there were to come.
So looking around, using his quick wit and sharp lines of thought he decided to use what little magic he had. Her muttered a few words under his breath, a little spell his brother taught him and casted protect on himself. He looked around and thought who the most useful would be, and, he looked upon a blonde, spiky headed swordsman, and cast protect on him as well.
Surprises came in a multitude of forms, and such was the situation as she opened her eyes to find herself a place that was unclear to her memories. She recalled sleeping in a soft bed in one of Balamb's hotels, not standing in a strange void-like arena. The Cetra kept her cool as her eyes drifted towards the floor, her eyes squinting barely an inch at the unique symbol carved into the floor. It all seemed surreal to her as she held a hand to her chest nervously, yet at the same time there was a sense of dark beauty as she glanced into the blackness taking the place of the 'sky'. The white mage winced as she caught a radiant light in the corner of her eye, and upon closer inspection she blinked in surprise as she found it radiating from her own body. There was a stark silence as she curiously turned her head, and within moments similar rays of light began to manifest as other forms appeared.
Like the others present she too heard the omnipotent voice from behind her, and out of a reflexive defensive habit she quickly turned around towards the source. Melody furrowed her brows, her face pensive as she realized that whenever she turned the voice always seemed to echo behind her. She quietly stood there, eyes closing slowly as she listened to unknown voice explain and introduce them to where they were. It specifically referred to them as warriors, a notion that made the Cetra much more confused. Was she even a warrior? Why was she even included in such an arena if she had no combat expertise? It was all a bit unnerving to her, yet as she saw others around her looking equally pensive she felt a little bit better.
For the rest of the voice's explanation she remained silent, her hands firmly clenched in a strange determination as she instinctively pulled at metallic device inside a pocket on her white dress. Her fingers pressed on a button, and with a quick push the small medallion quickly shifted into a metallic staff that equaled her in height. Her hands gripped onto the middle, holding it against her body defensively as the sound of roaring flame suddenly echoed out. Out of the void came a creature of fire, one that she recognized barely from her own studies back in school. That is...! The thought echoed out in her head, they only had a limited time to subdue the creature before it showed why it was aptly named "Bomb". Melody was no fighter, though the appearance of others already diving in for an attack forced her to watch from the sides as she waited for any opportunity to help support them from afar.
"I'll help out if I can! If you get injured please come to me!" The Cetra's melodic voice called out in a yell, she too entered the fray as she ran forward. She stopped half-way to keep her distance, taking a defensive stance as she held the staff against her body as if it were her only barrier. From afar she monitored the combat situation, looking for a chance to verbally call out any sign of danger when possible. She couldn't do much right now though, at the very least she would support them if they were injured.

Marko appeared in a flash of light, he was suddenly somewhere else. “Wait, I don’t have anything to deliver here…” he said aloud, looking around at the other people and the bomb. “Oh!” he jumped backward and put his fists up, looking ready to go. “I got this!” he jumped into the air as his pom-pom bobbed in the air around him. “Duck stomps out fire!” he yelled (though the absolutely ridiculous name of his attack did in fact give a hint to what he was doing).
He jumped down directly on top of the bomb, kicking it on the forehead. He jumped up again and flipped, making a noise that sounded like ‘whee’ before attacking a second time. “Elephant stomps out burning ducks!” Now he was comparing himself to an elephant. This was one weird moogle.

Her mind couldn't make sense of it. Then the voice came out of nowhere, startling her ever so slightly. A battle for valour and fortune against fiends of fate? She didn’t know really what to make of this but her hands came to rest on the hilts of her twin blades ready to fight. So she wouldn’t die, that was a good thing she supposed. She looked around the group carefully before closing her eyes for several seconds before opening them prepared and focused on the task ahead of her. Removing the blades from their hilts she sank into her fighting stance ready to fight.
”Well here goes nothing, I guess. I’ve got nothing to lose for fighting.” She said emotionlessly.
Hikari didn’t blink as a pillar of flame shot from the ground and the monster was revealed to them. A Bomb... but if that daunted Hikari, she didn’t let it show through her emotionless mask. Taking a deep breath, she threw herself towards the monster slashing with the blades. She launched a second attack almost as soon as she had finished her first.[/style]

The bomb shakes and rolls under all of your attacks yet it barely looks harmed by the blows you all land and even though you've plastered it with attacks the beast doesn't attack instead it floats there in the air swelling up swiftly in size getting ready to explode with its next action.

Autumn saw the bomb gathering strength to blow. She had studied about it plenty of times, and the outcome usually is never good. By the looks of it, since it didn't seem to retaliate via fire magic, it was almost super charged. Autumn walked backwards, towards a girl holding a staff. She seemed to be a medic, as she talked about how if she got hurt, this girl could heal her. She stayed closed to her just in case something were to happen to Autumn.
"Hey, my name's Autumn! I assume you're a white mage, by what you said earlier?" She decided to make small talk as she held her runic blade close to her, ready to block any explosion the bomb may have in store.
"What the hell, our attacks did nothing?" Zeak yelled, either this thing was much stronger than he thought, or he was really weak. The worst part was that the thing was growing even bigger. It looked like it was going to pop soon. 'Wait.' Zeak thought, 'Going to pop, made of fire and magic...that thing's going to explode!' Charging forward while spinning Guildari in his fingers he would get up close to the thing. Moving his hands further to the back of the bowspear he swung upwards as hard as possible, before bringing the bowspear back downwards for a second attack, while jumping away as before. “Come on people, we gotta take that thing down before it explodes!”

Looking around some more he judged who else could be useful in the long run. Suddenly he heard the pink haired girl about seeing her if they were injured, so, she was a healer. He smiled and knew, if they wanted to go the long haul they would need to have someone to heal their injuries. So, mutter the same words under his breath he cast his magics on her. Making another scan he saw a man who seemed to be as strong as the spiky haired swordsman and so, cast his magics on him as well.
Cloud wasn’t that surprised when he saw that the bomb still floated even with all of the combined efforts of each fighter. He felt a magic aura surround him, only assuming that it came from one of the others that wasn’t up close and fighting. With a smooth movement, he hefted his sword from behind him and swung upward, using the upward force to attack the larger bomb. He heard the comment that it needed to be taken out before it exploded, and he couldn’t agree more. Cloud jumped with his upward swing and twisted at the peak of his ascent, before slamming his blade down toward the bomb for a second slice. He landed, jumping back slightly to leave room for others to attack as well.
It wasn't a pleasant or welcome feeling when Seymour's head started to ache, a feeling he'd only felt once before when he'd awakened in a world and place very foreign. During his plans to excavate Anima, at one point things seemed to fade and get fuzzy now. He found himself surrounded by warriors and combatants from all walks of life, few of which he actually recognized; that is, until he laid his eyes upon Favael thick in the fray. With a small smirk he watched as his student and guardian peered around searching for his Maester he'd sworn to protect, then slowly and calmly tilted his head and swept a blue bang from his eyes as they moved to rest on the oppressor that everyone seemed to have allied against.
It was a strange bloated spiky-headed creature that he'd read about before, but never really had to deal with. Thanks to his extensive studies, however, he knew how to best deal with it. Staff in hand, he slowly approached the back ranks of the group. ''How unfortunate. It seems my own issues will have to wait...'' The tone of his voice was dripping with venomous annoyance and even a bit of arrogance. He looked to Favael and raised his chin slightly in an act to make him aware his dear Maester had arrived before lifting his staff, intending to continue the relentless assault on the monster.
Placing a palm against the crest of his staff, he lifted it high into the air as magical power began coursing through his body. He flicked his wrist holding the staff at the monster, releasing two orbs of highly pressurized water that sailed out and over the rest of the combatants heads straight for the Bomb; maybe that would douse its flames?
Equipment: Maester's Staff: This staff is carried as a symbol of power among some Maesters of Yevon, but is not a requirement. Seymour is often seen with this weapon. When using it in combat, it boosts his magical reserves by twenty points. (+20 MP)
Character Abilities: Requiem: Requiem as an ability called upon by Seymour during times of crisis. By reaching into his latent magic talent and power, he can release a powerful construct of raw energy. This singularity of raw magical power is pure enough to block out light, causing the surrounding area to turn dark when the ability is used. The opponent and its allies will be enveloped in a singularity of magical energy, which soon turns volatile and explodes. The ability grows in power as Seymour gains levels. Its base MP cost is 30, and it deals a base of 20 magic damage to all enemies. Every level both the damage and MP cost raise by 10. In the case he is fighting an enemy with multiple targets (such as enemies with multiple parts that need to be destroyed) it will damage all of them.
Current: 30 MP, 20 Damage to all enemies.
Magic: Water (50 Damage, 10 MP) Thunder

The water spells hit the bomb hard, the sheer power of the water quickly puts the bomb out causing it to start to fall to the ground, yet it turns to ash before it even hits the ground.
Battle I WIN: 200XP/GIL
In the midst of you all, with a loud thud lands a large white haired monster with two large ears and one wild grin plastered across its flat face. It arcs its head back and lets out a loud howl before it dashes towards Cloud slamming itself hard into him sending him flying away before it swings around and then slams itself into Leon with full force sending him flying too.

Her tail twitched and the hairs on the back of her neck stood to attention as she attempted to ascertain her location. It seemed as though that would have to wait however, as her eyes were drawn to some kind of battle taking place. Ordinarily, she would try to avoid trouble and move on, but that round thing looked tough and those people probably needed her help.
Grabbing her ocarina from her pouch as she ran over, the round monster had already fallen by the time she got there. The next creature to arrive, however, was by all appearances far more powerful than the last. She winced as the white maned creature rushed forward at two of them, causing who knows what kind of injuries. With little to no time to think things through, the cleyran rushed toward the spiky haired one first and cast her healing magic on him.
"Are you okay?", she asked as she healed his injuries, before moving onto the other who had been injured by the beast. "Please be alright", she breathed as she attempted the same for him. Once satisfied that they could at the very least stand, she backed off to join the rest of the group. "Hi there, I'm Adelina", she cheerily introduced herself, despite the less than ideal circumstances for pleasantries. Cloud didn’t see the Bandersnatch coming while he was focused on the fallen bomb. He felt the large beast slam into his side. With a grunt of pain, he flew off to the side. He stabbed his sword down toward the ground, catching it so that he could slide quickly to a stop. The blonde glanced toward the strange woman though he didn’t complain as he felt the healing magic surge through him; fixing the damage he had just been caused.
“Thanks, I’m Cloud.”
His response to her was quick as he ran back toward the Bandersnatch. As he approached the creature he brought the large blade down vertically from the air, before drawing it back with both hands and slicing horizontally at the creature’s side.

“Woah!” the small moogle exclaimed, watching Cloud get sent soaring several yards away. He glanced around the area, noticing one or two people that he had met, but now really wasn’t the time for pleasantries. “Alright then let’s go!” His pom-pom started to sparkle with magical energy. The small creature jumped into the air and through a fist upward. “Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!” he yelled, as he flashed once with magic energy. A bolt of magic flew from him to Zeak as well, speeding up their movements.
He landed on the ground and jumped forward, flipping into a mid-air roll. “Flea bite!” he yelled, naming his attack as his foot connected with the creature’s side.
As the water extinguished the bomb Zeak took a deep breath, if that thing had exploded...he didn't want to know what would have happened. Suddenly he felt a rush of energy building up within him, it slowly spread outside his body, and it gently formed a membrane around him. He was about to go speak to the spiky haired blond but as he turned to speak a loud howl permeated the air. And spiky head was knocked flying away. Spending a moment looking at where spiky head landed and quickly turned back to the white haired monster that now stood before him. “Where do these things keep coming from?” he wondered aloud as he began to move Guildari to a defensive position. But he was struck by a second shot of energy, this time it seemed to fill his body with air, his arms and legs became light as feathers, and Guildari felt like a random stick he had picked up off the ground. “Thanks!” he yelled, he didn't know who was helping him, but it wasn't unwanted help.
Charging forward Zeak would slash Guildari horizontally left to right across the creature, then diagonally from right to left, then spinning the bowspear around his head he would bring it back down in another diagonal slash before jumping back again. He would slowly circle the monster now, trying to get behind it without it seeing him. ____________________________________________________

She had to admit the group intrigued her somewhat. But there was no time to dwell on these unusual individuals as they were attacked by another monster... a bandersnatch. She watched as two of the other members of the group were sent flying by the monster. She was going to have to be fast on her feet it would seem. She readied her blades again and quickly launched another attack slashing at the bandersnatch with as much strength and agility as she could. She then flipped back hoping to get plenty of distance away from the beast as possible, landing surely in a crouching position.
"Well, this is actually getting quite interesting. I'm Hikari by the way." She said to no one in particular. She decided to try a different tact for her next move. She may not be the strongest with magic but she was going give that a try. She focused on the bandersnatch and casted Bio, hoping it would at least help in some way. [/style]

Favael watched carefully as the bomb was put out; the balls of water had to come from somewhere. He turned quickly, spotting Seymour toward the back of the group as the source. A smile crossed his face, Seymour was here and okay. Now he could focus. The boy stepped back from the large white beast as it slammed into two of the other fighters, but as he moved the air around him started to ripple from the heat waves that emanated from him.
He closed his eyes only briefly while sparks of flame started to jump around his left arm. The sparks came together at his hand and he threw it forward, sending off two potent bolts of flame headed right for the Bandersnatch.

"Phew... I thought it was going to get ugly there for a moment..."
However, that was not the end of the battle. Only for a second could she take a relaxing breath for, out of nowhere, a bandersnatch came rushing towards two of the front line fighters. She could have been there and helped out with the fighting, but she decided that staying behind while hte bomb boosted itself would have been safer. None the less, she needed to go to the front lines. She needed to be a fighter: not a coward. Casting magic may help her from afar, but that would waste her physical talents. In a desperate attempt to attack, she rushed forward, swinging her sword towards the bandersnatch, trying to strike it from the side, then having one final strike to the head. Although she is just attacking it, she hoped to widdle it's HP down a bit so the others could help finish him off.

He didn’t have much time to think about it as it seemed there was a battle in progress and maybe that was why he was brought here, he didn’t know. He watched for several moments watching the monster attack two of the people that had been there already sending them flying. Vincent removed Cerberus from its holster ready for action. He kept his enhanced senses on the monster and what was going on around him planning his first move carefully. Cocking the tri-barrelled Cerberus, Vincent launched into an attack pelting it with bullets. Vincent knew it would best to stay back from the monster and pelt it with bullets or with magic attacks and to keep moving.
Vincent didn’t think about his next attack, raising Cerberus once more and shooting away at the beast. He just hoped that he would be a little help. Red eyes flicked around the group, getting a quick visual analysis of each individual before returning his eyes to the monster once more.

Before he knew what hit him he was sent flying through the air. Luckily for him, his protect spell, plus the little fact he could take a beating much better than he could give one out, he was not that harmed. As he landed he let out a grunt of pain as he lay there for a second or two, trying to gather himself. As he lay there he felt a rush of warmth wash over him and he looked up to see a woman using healing magic on him. He smiled and flipped up, “Thanks, I’m Leon.” With that he stood in the back, and started to judge the situation, to see what he could do. However, as a thank you to the lady he muttered the same chant and cast protect on the healer.

Yeowang, having entered the arena, stood at her side, yawning as she felt no need to please. She had just been interrupted by her visit from a good friend, to help drop off some money for her services. However, she was not in the bedroom where she had been waiting nor was she in her 'uniform.' She literally stood there as the people rushed towards the monsters, swinging their swords and casting their magics. Yeowang felt no need to do this... Why was she even here? What was her purpose?
She saw the it's interest to fight these people. Boring. Yeowang wanted action. She wanted to do something. No need to waste her talents here.

Upon the finish of his field exam and boarding the plane to go back to Balamb, the debrief had barely finished before Squall had taken the liberty to get some rest. Not long after he closed his eyes, though, he found himself interrupted; when his eyes next opened he found himself standing with the Revolver among seemingly a small army of warriors, but the one who had stuck out the most was Cloud; he could see him in the thick of the fray after being batted away by whatever behemoth-like monster had decided to assault them all alone. Looking around, he took inventory of their sheer number before staring down the field at the beast. If this many people were fighting this one creature and it still hadn't gone down, it was obviously a significant threat.
He hoisted his gunblade up and over his shoulder before charging through the ranks, dipping it off his shoulder into a spin where he held it at his right hip with the tip pointing at the ground behind him. He knew this was probably an insane idea, but his swordsmanship was without a doubt his best asset and it was time to go to work. Upon arriving at the creature he aimed to strike for any vital spot he could on its legs. He lashed out with a strong horizontal slash across the skin of its shin before sidestepping and coming down in a diagonal slash across the back of the leg, hoping he could hit some sort of muscle to persuade the beast out of charging anyone.
Character Abilities: Revolver Shock: The sole reason why the Gunblade is only used by Seifer and Squall among Balamb Garden's SeeDs of their class, the Revolver Shock is a skill that takes years to train and use properly. By timing the pull of the trigger of the weapon right before the user strikes, they can send a powerful shock through the entire frame and blade of the Gunblade adding a considerable amount of damage to the attack. However, such intense focus has a cost, and its not something easily done on reflex. (Squall's Level*10, result is a bonus to base ATK damage,, but costs 20 MP. When used in succession, the cost increases by 5 MP each time. So say he uses it his second turn, it would cost 20, but if he uses it his third turn also, it costs 25, and so on. MP cost increases as he levels by 5 points per level up.)
The feeling was quite uncanny, as she has just been lifted and carried through the air a great distance, yet it all happened so fast. But she couldn’t remember what she was doing before hand. Just, suddenly, she opened her eye, as if awakening from some deep hazy dream, and here she was, on the floor of what she could only say appeared to be an arena of some sort. She put one hand to her head and shook while pushing against the floor with the other. Why was she here? Confusing reigned supreme, but the second sight in her eyes was enough to jar her fully awake and alert.
A large malicious creature of fur and fangs rushed and attack to male somewhat nearby. There were a lot of them, people. They all appeared to be fighting the creature, though there was no signs to where it came from, as though it too had just been dropped here. With no regard to what the situation was, she decided to go on and help them. After all, she’d toss her chances in with their lot over the monster. She quickly made her way over to their side, and moved close to the rear of the assortment of non-vicious monsters, then asked, “What exactly is going on? Does anyone know where we are?” After a moment, of silence, she shook her head rather confused.
“Stripe away the ground with glistening blades!”
Immediately, to bolts of lightning would strike the creature In center of mass.

New Round, anyone who has yet to join the battle can still do so, anyone who has already posted may post again.
The creature lets out a howl as its head darts from left to right before it seemingly chooses its targets and bursts towards the elvish princess, slamming its whole weight into her smashing her across the arena before the creature swings itself around and lets out another howl as it chooses another woman and once more slams itself into the unfortunate foe with full force.

Right as the bandersnatch came rushing towards Yeowang, she called upon her ability to cloak herself in a veil of light. A wave of light, beaming infinitely from the sky came down and shrouded her in an aura-like light, glowing with a golden radiance. Just as the bandersnatch hit her, she may have been knocked back, but she kept her still form as the bandersnatch rushed towards a different target. Not only did she veil herself once, but did so twice, and because of such, she was able to deflect all of the damage the bandersnatch was capable of giving her.
"Silly beasts shouldn't mess with such power."
She saw the young woman get knocked back and laughed a little on the inside. She saw how feeble and weak she was, and well, she couldn't help but notice her rather uncharming attire, with her robes mixed with steel and her giant sword with runic markings. She was just so... inferior to Yeowang it wasn't even funny. She had out like a flame in the wind, and Yeowang felt great power in witnessing such weakness.
