For years Gaia had only the threat of Sin to deal with, now as Gateway 26 opened in an alternate Gaia times are changing. Sin is still around as summoners from all around Spira begin their pilgrimage, while Sin continues its rampage corruption within Yevon begins to show. Recent events have forced Shinra into an all out dog fight with Galbadia...the war is on...which side will emerge the victor?

The Shinra/Galbadian war continues to rage. Meanwhile elsewhere events begin to stirr. Another summoner arises in Spira, however his darker nature forces him to find an alternate route into the temple. As General Leo is sent away to the captial. the Court Mage Kefka is left in charge of the siege of Doma. Nightmare Darklight and Zero Lorgana move towards the tower of the mages in search of the Warring Triad.
